Looking for a new place to call home! Prefer long stay 6+ months (even if I have to be on lease I'm happy for that)I'm an 19 year old girl from Queensland moved down to study paramedicine in 2017. Looking for a place to live and must be out of the current room I'm renting by April due to the lease running out! About me; I'm a quirky, outgoing and a bit of a nerd who's loves all things vintage, books, good music, camping, outdoors trips/adventures and everything in between! Very easy going and respectful of space and privacy as well as being down for a chilled drink or an occasional night out to even dinner at home with the whole house. Animal lover, professional dad joke talker and love some banter.. love my footy (afl) and all things sci fi and fantasy. Looking to stay around the area I'm in currently as I am comfortable with the area and am close to friends and uni (live in Essendon)! I am not your typical 19 year old before you get the wrong idea! I'm quite the old soul and can't wait to meet anyone I may live with! Btw be prepared for dumb questions that will make you laugh cause sometimes I may sound like a tourist as I still seem to act like I don't know the place and yes apparently Queenslanders and Victorians speak a different language! Look forward to meeting you 😁
21 and in love... currently living in qld looking to move to Melbourne with my two beautiful cats! A little about myself, I'm quiet but also can be loud, bubbly and outgoing I'm also really clean and tidy. Currently unemployed but will be getting a job as soon as I move down, Would ideally like my own bathroom or somewhere to put the cats litter, I clean up after them every day and always have candles/ incense burning so my house/room never smells!! My cats are both indoor cats and are very well behaved! Must be LGBT+ friendly as I am raging homosexual heheh Hope to hear from you, Shayde xx
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished 'self contained accommodation' rather than sharing. The house where my current 'granny flat' is situated has been sold and I require new accommodation by mid April at he latest. A 57 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too and they are true judges of character ;) Michael
18 year old who has previously lived out of home for two years! i am currently studying speech pathology full time at ACU. As i have lived out of home for over 2 years, i am fully aware of the environment and expectations of a shared house! I would describe myself as neat but also chilled and easy to get along with . I am super in to jazz music and old school rap, aswell as art
Hey! I'm Lara. I'm from New Zealand and I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 4 years. I'm easygoing, reliable with rent and bills, and I'm looking for a place in the north-west suburbs. I've been house sitting around Melbourne for the last few years, so am keen to settle down somewhere for at least 6 months. I'm looking for a place where I have my own bathroom. I love music, travelling, theatre and film, reading, and yoga. I'm vegetarian, but it's not a problem for me if you eat meat. I work full time in the city, and I'm often out in the evenings at gigs or with friends. I'm tidy and respectful, and keen to find something soon!
Hello, my name is Anastasia and I'm an artist & couturier looking for a home in which I can both live and work - I’m completely housetrained and houseproud, I have a great aesthetic, pay my bills on time , know my way around a kitchen, enjoy a wine, possess an occasional scintillating wit and a regular green thumb. All in all, I’m an easygoing egg. I am open to finding a space in an already existing home or teaming up with like-minded individuals to create a lovely, art- and plant-filled, inclusive home. I am looking for a calm, relaxed, comfortable environment which would allow for me to have both a bedroom and a studio space - so either a warehouse or a home with an unused backyard garage/ bungalow/ large-ish studio would be perfect. I appreciate that this is a lot to ask for and I am absolutely prepared to pay extra (within reason) for this. My additional artists-assistant work, my community, and my attitude are solidly planted in the North so I’m ideally seeking a home Northside - Preston or Thornbury would be ideal but I would absolutely be open to team-ups in other areas if the house and mix is right and its accessible to suitable public transport I am a dirty smoker - this happens exclusively outside but I understand that its a dealbreaker for some Last, but certainly not least, potential housemates must be LGBTI friendly, neither racist nor misogynistic and inclusive, open-minded peeps for this to work
Hi I’m Rachael, a 30 year old mental health clinician. I am a friendly, clean, respectful & helpful housemate. I spend my weeknights at gym, reading a book or maybe watching a bit of tv. I loves cats, cooking & travel. Also enjoy a chat and a shared meal but can be quite busy at times and can respect others need for their own space. Looking for somewhere for at least 6-9 months but hopefully somewhere to call home for longer :)
My name is Daniel, and my partners name is Caley, we are looking for a place to stay for a couple of months in the Maribyrnong area. We are friendly, outgoing and hoping to find a nice place to live for a bit. Hope to hear from you. Thanks, Daniel
Hi I’m Nick 31 years old. Work full time in construction. Have a 7 year old pugalier. Enjoy having a beer. Spend a few weekends away camping and fishing etc. Cheers. Nick.
Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm a primary school teacher and a caffeine addict in my late 20s. I love yoga, cooking, reading, writing, imbibing unhealthy amounts of coffee and the occasional Netflix binge. I lead a busy, active life, and I honestly don't take up a whole lot of room.
My name is Altar and I'm a Sydney born with a Turkish background that's currently working full time. I'm easy to get along with as I do keep to myself, however I am very social and love a chat. I'm very respecting of other people's belongings and I am very clean. I enjoy playing the odd video game and watching TV as well as socialising out doors.
Hi, I’m James and I’m an Electrical Engineering graduate working in Industrial Automation. I’m from Geelong but I’ve just recently started a job in the northern suburbs, so as you might imagine I’m keen to find a nice place to start renting! I think of myself as a pretty chilled, friendly and conscientious guy, so I’m great to have around if you’re looking for a laugh or chat (or a pint if you twist my arm!), but I’ll still gladly give you your own space. Be sure to shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit for that spare room! Looking forward to hearing from you, James
I'm Hayley and I grew up in hawthorn and went to school at mlc. I've been in the north the last 5 years and am now in the west. I'm looking for a place inner west. I have worked for 11 years full time as a production assistant for a book and film production company but decided to follow my true passion, fashion. I have been doing modelling on and off for the past two years as well as studying it online. I'm also actively looking for work and receive centrelink. I am clean and tidy, reliable, respectful, friendly, easy going and trust worthy.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
We are both clean, quiet and respectful we like our privacy, we love cooking (and eating) im 20 years old and currently working permanent part time as a commercial cleaner (Monday-Friday night shift) my partner (Alex) is 24 he currently isn’t working due to injuries he sustained in an accident in 2016 and has on going surgeries he does however receive a regular TAC payment so both of us have a steady sauce of income, we have a 7 month old American staffy and a 2 year old english staffy both are extremely friendly, loving and clean also very quiet 🤫
-Found a place!- Hi, we just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new people and make friends! :D We're hoping to find a place that is friendly and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. We quite often like to share laughs, movies, and meals with our housemates, but don't want a party house (outside of BBQ's and birthdays etc). We're respectful of other people's space but are looking for flat-mates rather than flat-humans. Homes are better than houses. I'm Karen (25) a full-time working professional as a risk engineering consultant for a culture change firm, likes to laugh, likes to eat, but also likes to chill in my room. Matt (31) studies environmental science and outdoor rec at Victoria University full-time, is very warm and happy, likes to get out and about, and likes to eat more. We love pets (but don't have any) and plants (we have 2) so if you have some that's awesome, but would prefer a place without kids (visits are definitely cool though). We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Hi! my name is Kim Cynthia, I'm a 19 yo French student currently enrolled at Melbourne Uni. I study environmental science so yay to reducing energy bills! I may be young but I'm very independent. On weekends I like to either swim/go to the beach or grab some snacks and watch a movie at home, maybe both. I'm laid-back but organized, easy-going and friendly but respectful of everyone's privacy and very open-minded. I like to think that makes me pretty easy to live with :)
Leaving Perth to hopefully get a music career rolling in the heart of the arts, Melbourne. I've been living in shared accommodation for 4 years and have always been blessed with lovely housemates. I love when a house feels like a second family with that perfect mix of interaction and privacy. I could write plenty more about myself but I'm sure we can all agree meeting in person is much better! I can assure you I'm a friendly housemate who will bring good vibes and I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends. Cheers lovelies xoxo
I'm a nanny hoping to study early childhood education starting this year, I do have 2 dogs (who are well behaved, housebroken and not destructive) and in an ideal world I would be able to find a pet friendly household so that I could potentially bring them along with me, but I do have the option of leaving them with my parents if I have to. I'm also a musician and an artist. I love to cook and have a background in horticulture so love gardening too. I'm very clean and tidy and responsible. Would love to find a share house with people who are like-minded :)
First and foremost, I don't know if anything makes me great to live with, but people around me seem to be happy. I think I do a decent job to keep it hat way :P I am a researcher, started my Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne at the beginning of March. I like to relax with a good meal and some TV at the end of the day, eating out when time permits. I am friendly and like to interact with people and will definitely respect your privacy. I like to cook and especially for others on the weekends :) I am a non smoker and drink occasionally, like a neat and clean environment.
I am respectful of other people that I am living with. I am social but I also have love my own time. I love meeting new people and enjoy conversarions with them. I am into sports and thus live a well disciplined lifestyle. I am not a party animal and respect my house mates privacy. I am very hygienic. I clean every week ( although this is supposed to be normal I believe it to be necessary to put this up.)
My Furbaby Bailey and I are looking to find a home suitable for us to live. I work 2 jobs, part time in a warehouse and Nursing - so I'm naturally all about cleanliness. I tend to work a lot and usually work weekends, however I'm not impartial to a bit of rowdiness, but I tend to reserve drinks socially every now and then. Bailey is a very affectionate English Staffy who has been an inside dog all her life, so she is very much housetrained. Her and I are pretty inseparable, if we're not out at the park or beach we're usually at home sleeping or chilling. She usually lives with my family while I work and stays with me on my days off. I'm currently in Altona Meadows and hoping to stay somewhat within this area. I'm hoping to find a home to share with some easy going flatmates who Bailey and I fit in with well :)
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place asap and just want to live with some good people not too fussy about the room or house.
Fun, witty, so im told, tidy, social, quiet, i consider and respect others space and environment, ie noise, and like to help. I am from Ireland but living in Melbourne 8 years. I work full time in construction as foreman. I like to keep fit, read and have a general interest in whats happening in the world.
I’m James, 20 years old and work full time. I’m easy going, not one to make fuss about anything. I don’t drink but doesn’t bother me if other people do. I do like to social but also like my own time too. I’m reliable with bills and everything else, tidy person and happy to help out with anything.
I'm 24 years old studying business at Victoria University at Footscray Park. I was born and raised in Canada and have been in Melbourne for almost 3 years now. I Love to listen to music and go for a drive. Enjoy cooking but also like to try different restaurants.
I’m 23 and from Adelaide, I’m currently in the process of moving to Melbourne with my job, I work full time for Apple and am near completion of my HR degree which I study part time externally. In my spare time I love footy, I play squash and cycle regularly. I value meaningful connections with others and would ideally like to be in a house with people who are casual but clean. I don’t mind spending time together at night as I work during the day, and on my days off let’s be sponanteous. Love house dinners, I can cook a good pasta (with my grandparents sauce receipe) but all up I do value privacy. I have a car and am flexible to help my housemates out when needed.
