What did the math book say to the history book? You think you got problems? Peek into the glamorous world of show business, with a working successful performer! :/ I'm an American pro comedian, magician, and producer just coming off of 2 years of solid touring. I've only got 4-5 months before the next overseas tour, too short for my own lease, so why not share in the city with one of the greatest Fringe Festivals on earth? Especially since I'll already be here running shows. I've lived in every imaginable accommodation in over 40 countries. I'm entirely self-sufficient and easy-going. Having said that, I like to socialize a bit. I don't mind a glass of wine or a beer and a chat a couple times a week. Not interested in a party house, though. I've got a new show to write. Also, I'll be away quite frequently for a week or 2 at a time for festival and cruise ship gigs.
Hi! I'm an international student from Singapore. I have a very low maintenance lifestyle and i enjoy staying at home. I love watching korean dramas and reading. i do party at times but no worries, i won't bring any trouble back home :-) on rare occasions, i’ll have friends (usually just 1) from home coming over for a visit for a week or 2, & i’d like to have them stay with me. so i hope to find a housemate who is not too particular with that and also has similar interests so we would have things to talk about.
We are hardly ever home! We are professional and full time housesitters travelling the country. We really only need a room to come home and relax and repack occasionally. We do prefer to have internet and space for our computer and monitor....and somewhere to park a car. We have been renting a room for the past 12 months paying $50 every week plus $20per night when we sleep over. We’ve spent less than 20 nights there this year. Sadly our housemate is moving in with her boyfriend and so not renewing her lease.
A pretty easy going dude that doesn't mind a chat but also enjoys my own company. I think it's more about the people you live with over the place you're living. I'd rather live in a worse house with better people rather than vice versa. I'm a baker by trade working part time and selling linen/textiles on the side. I don't drink, smoke, or stay up all night partying, and I treat others how I'd like to be treated myself. I keep my area clean and don't mind chipping in with chores and things. A granny flat or similar would be ideal for me as I can be a bit anti-social at times, but don't mind a little socialising and chin wagging too. :) I'd totally live with me. :)
This will be my third year living in shared accommodation, in that time I've learned it's best to be honest, upfront and direct. I'm respectful, polite and an easy going person. I know it's not always easy living with others but i'm looking to make the best experience of it I can. I'm in Adelaide to study nursing so I'll have you covered.
I'm 26, I work as a Graphic Designer on a freelance basis, currently on a contract till April 2018 with an Adelaide Fringe venue as their Marketing and Digital Design Manager. I'm looking for a centrally located room that is close to everything at Fringe time as I will be working from the office, from the venue itself, and around the place and need to be close by. I'm looking for something short term ideally till about April/May when the contract is finished.
Looking for a place to live since i’m moving out of student accomodation. I’m 19 and i work full time at a mexican restaurant in the CBD which means i’m a burrito rolling master. When i’m not working I love relaxing at home, cooking delicious food and spending time either at the beach, watching netflix or with my friends and family. My home is my happy place so I love keeping it real neat and clean and besides that i’m pretty laidback.
Ex-chef (can cook) now completing PhD (on ethical investing) looking for a quiet place to study, work and chill out. I am a relaxed person, very clean, quiet, extremely respectful of others and easy to get along with. Would like privacy so own room is a must and own bathroom is preferred. Social and love to meet new people, but also like my own time, especially when I have to work on my PhD. I need to work from home sometimes and also go to Flinders Uni a few times a week. Generally catch up with friends when I'm out but my mum would need to stay for a night or two every now and then (she's lovely). Enjoy the occasional glass of wine, non-smoker and healthy living. Like to grow some of my own veggies and herbs so would like somewhere with a bit of space for a few pot plants. Happy to share whatever is grown :) I like to live in clean spaces and kitchen hygiene is particularly important to me. I clean up after myself and would expect the same but happy for our home to be "lived in". Have a small car and would prefer off-street parking but this is not a deal breaker if street parking is all that's going. If there is space for a few pieces of gym equipment that would be exceptional. They all fold up so wouldn't take up much room. Again, am happy to share. Ideally, I would like a second room that I could use. Would really appreciate some storage space. I have a bicycle that I use often so having that in easy access is essential. Looking for a place in the city or close by, moving in mid Jan 2018. Would prefer rent and bills inclusive (no more than $250 pw) but ok to split bills too. I travel often (every couple of months) so you would have the place to yourself sometimes too. So, these are the things that would make me very happy to live with you. For you, I would be a responsible, respectful, trustworthy housemate. My income of part-time work and a scholarship are more than enough to cover rent and bills (I'm sharing for a couple of years so that I can save up for a business that I am developing). I'm a good listener and have a caring nature so would make for good company. If you feel we would be a good fit, or if there is anything else you would like to know, please send me a message!
Victoria does a PhD in philosophy and Ricardo is a freelance illustrator and artist. We are a fun, clean and responsible couple that are working on our future in Adelaide and looking for a nice and affordable environment close to the city of Adelaide
I am friendly, tidy, respectful, and fun! I am a 24 year old Canadian chemical engineering graduate and current MBA student, and will be studying at the University of Adelaide as part of my exchange program, so a good portion of my time will be spent at school. I am also an elite triathlete, so I spend a lot of time outdoors training! Born and raised in the Niagara region of Canada (wine country), it'll be so great to learn more about Australian wine! Looking for accommodation from late January through to the end of April - I will be flying to Australia earlier to travel a bit beforehand, so we can meet in person before move-in as well :-) I am happy to provide references from previous roommates, landlords, and professional work so that you can hear all about how great I am to live with, and learn more about me! Hope you hear from you soon!
I'm a friendly person, quiet and considerate of people's privacy. Always clean up after myself and always pay my rent on time. I have 2 friendly, well behaved kids: Aaron, 16, and Caitlin, 13. They both live with their Dad, but stay with me every 2nd weekend. They are happy to share a room. We are looking for either 2 rooms in a share house, a granny flat or a huge room that we can share, a rumpus room or anything really that can accommodate us. The time we spend together is precious so we don't mind being in each others' space when we're together.
Im a first year Bachelor of Arts student, studying at Adelaide University and hoping to major in philosophy/classics. Loves Game of Thrones and Dogs!! Im quiet and keep to my self most of the time. (do my own cooking, dishes, cleaning etc..) That dosen't mean I'm not social though. more thanhappy to get comfy with new roommates!
I'm a student currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Adelaide and am looking for a room to stay. I've moved here in March 2017 from Perth. I've lived in over four countries (before turning 18) so am very acceptable of other cultures and get along with everyone. :) I'm friendly, sociable and respect others. I enjoy socialising with housemates but also respect other's privacy. I'm clean, tidy, and responsible, and look forward to meeting new people!
Hi everyone, I'm an Italian easy going girl,I love animals, gym, beach, have a laugh and I'm looking for a quite place for me and my female cat. She is adorable ;) I'm working and studying at the moment but I will be full time worker in few weeks! Thanks ;)
Hi - I do research and teach at Adelaide University during the day and I own a dance studio where I work at night so I'm pretty busy. On the weekend I like socialise, restore old cars, ride motorbikes, eat out, play music with friends (I play guitar). I'm looking for somewhere fairly close to the city. I have loads of references from previous housemates and I'm financially stable, neat & tidy - all the good housemate stuff :) Send me a message if you have a spare room and we can meet up sometime. Cheers. Chris.
