I'm a professional working in CBD 9-5. I'm looking for a nice place close to city; clean and tidy. Looking for quite and relaxed place that I can call home. I'm laid back, down to earth and friendly. Mostly out either because of usual routine (gym & running) or trying new things. I try my best to keep myself busy with different things, currently I'm learning rock climbing, and enrolled for touch ball for this season. Running is something I truly enjoy. On the other hand I'm quite private and do like my own space. I enjoy the small things in life. I love cooking. Everyday learning new healthy dishes. I am a vegan but not too fussy about that. Would prefer a friendly person, someone who is clean/ tidy and not noisy. If you're willing to accommodate, I hope to meet you soon.
Hi! I’m Eden! I recently moved down to Melbourne from Port Stephens in NSW! I’m looking for a place with a couple of people to try and get a bit more accustomed to the Melbourne lifestyle and also to find out what kind of places are around. I work full time tuesday to saturdays, so i’m out most days; but in my spare time i love to play video games, i like Magic the Gathering, i dont read often but i like books, i LOOOVVVEE movies and netflix haha, and of course food. Who doesnt love fooood!!! I do gym regularly, and i like to explore and be social with friends! (Although in a new city i only have a few haha) But i do at times like my own privacy, as do most. I’m a pale white kid who’s really easy to get along with; i can cook, wash, dry, clean, bake, and i look out for my mates. Look forward to meeting new people and making friends!!
Looking for awesome housie to share with St Kilda area Relocating back after 10 years in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I'm a qualified Naturopath working part time on creating my business. I also work part time in the city as marketing assistant to keep me out of trouble ;). I'm into sustainable living, yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food. I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic and easy going. I have a great sense of humour. Even though my full on party days are behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh, a chat and a shared meal from time to time. Looking forward to sharing a home-Short or long term if it works out well. I have a 7 year old son. He sleeps at his dads most nights for stability and for his own room. We have found this is the happiest arrangement for all. The split was amicable. We get along fine. My son stays with me one night a week. He is fine in my room and is ridiculously quiet and well behaved. So I'm looking st kilda so walking distance to his school for simplicity If that all sounds awesome then I would love to hear from you! 😊
Aloha! If what you are looking for is an adventurous and awesome roommate and cute kittos to cuddle on cold rainy days in Melbourne, then you are in luck! Myself and my two incredibly friendly cats are in search of a housemate! Here is what you need to know about me: I'm 25, working as an Accountant at a fin tech company in the city. But don't be fooled, I'm far from the accounting stereotype: think boxing, traveling, camping, skyding and obstacle courses, that be me:) Exploring Melbourne's bar and restaurant scene is another one of my hobbies. Now to less exciting stuff: as a flatmate, I always keep the apartment clean and respect others' personal space. I also have all the furniture to furnish a house, so u won't have to worry about that. Here is who I'm looking for: Someone to share my adventures with, but also enjoy quiet nights watching movies! Obviously clean, respectful, with appropriate income to afford a place, and you gotta like cats! But thats really it! Send me a message if you are interested! Cheers!
I am a happy, friendly person who easily gets along with people from all walks of life. I have well refined social skills, open-minded, and I would say generally introverted, however I come out of my shell when it's time to socialise. Career wise, I am a research assistant in the neurosciences field and find myself working within hospitals and universities. I am hard-working individual, responsible, organised, kind and helpful. Non-smoker, social drinker, clean, no pets - always ready to help out with the cleaning and chores. I look forward to living with like-minded people who are sociable, while being respectful of other's space and privacy. In my spare time, I like playing tennis and going cycling while living a healthy, active lifestyle. I also enjoy socialising with family and friends. What is important also is making the place feel like a home with other housemates, rather than being a hermit. I look forward to hearing from you.
My partner (Ben)26 and I (29) are both from Kent in England and been in Austrailia for just over a year. I've worked in retail for a number of years, but mainly been working in hospitality whilst we've been travelling and Ben is a carpenter. We're both outgoing and easy to get along with type of people, like to socialise, but at the same time enjoy chilling in front of the TV. We are tidy and considerate people, looking for similar housemates and a cosy place to live. Interests include: Adventuring/exploring, good films/programs, video games, skiing, good food, travelling, live music, etc
I work full-time in South Melbourne so ideally I'd like to find something close to work. I'm quiet, respectful, tidy & friendly. I feel that the place you live in should be a comfortable, warm sanctuary to come home to, and I will respect your space and your privacy. Though I'm naturally quiet, I like having people around to talk to. I hate the idea of coming home to an empty house. I also love gardening, so I'm happy to do any and all of the garden maintenance. I have a little furniture and my own car, so I'm looking for a house-share, hopefully with a car space or permit parking. My preferred date to move is around mid-July but I am flexible. Ideally I'd like to have found somewhere by start of August. I'm not sure what else to add, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
I'm moving to Melbourne next month for a new job, working as a content manager for a national marketing platform. I'm a social 23 year old mate, mature for my age and can hold a conversation with anyone. Coming from a background working in radio I'm a talker with a sense of humor and enjoy my music of many genres. I play american football and will be out of the house some weeknights for training and for games on weekend. I enjoy a drink while socializing with others on weekends and I'm after a room in a house of good down to earth fun people. I'll be working in Albert park so a place with good transport or a clear bike path are handy. I've also got a 1974 Holden Kingswood I drive so off the street parking is a bonus. Non smoker, healthy and active, very handy with fixing bits and bobs around a house and understand the etiquette of living with others. Won't be in Melbourne until the 15th of July but for the right place and people can arrange to come down and meet before hand, and move in right away. Hope I can be the housemate you're looking for!
I am quiet and easy to get along with and I work full time as an architect. I am originally from Adelaide but I just spent two years in Sydney. I have just moved to Melbourne and I am looking forward to settling in. I am staying at an AirBNB until 28th June and will be available to move around then. Outside of work I like to get out to see anything artistic, I love art galleries and anything art orientated. I also love to draw in my spare time. I go to yoga to de-stress on a regular basis. I also love to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I do prefer to live with people I enjoy the company of because I prefer to live somewhere homely rather than living with strangers. I have a vegan diet. I don't impose this on anyone, it is just my personal choice.
Hey everyone! I'm 3 days away from moving to Melbourne from Sydney and am super excited! I'm easy to live with, keep things clean and always up for a chat and a drink! I work full time in sales and am mostly out and about. Really keen to start my Melbourne adventure with a relaxed, friendly household :) shoot a msg for an inspection, thanks!!
*ADELE AND I ARE LOOKING TO SHARE A ROOM TOGETHER. Adele and Roselia are quirky, talkative, friendly and fun to be around (not to boost our ego or anything :D). We're super neat and tidy, very much live by "mi casa es su casa", but are also very respective of others belongings if they feel differently. We will always contribute to grocery shopping and to any repairs that need to be done around the house. We can also contribute the following to any household we join: - a brand new washing machine - a fairly new vacuum cleaner - a family sized Christmas tree - a medium sized silver shag rug - a pink sofa bed -a small red coffee table -a medium size mirror -large vintage chair (idk how to describe it) -toaster & kettle -cutleries and crockeries -pans and pots Off-street parking or a garage space for Roselia is a must but other than that, being near a tram/train stop is vital for our work commitments. We love having friends over and doing some occasional gathering or small drink-up at home. However, we respect your alone time and your own space as well as tidying up after ourselves, and generally expect the same from our housemate(s). We would love an extra housemate or two to converse with and hang out with us when we make plans - you'll definitely be treated as a friend rather than a housemate!! About Us: Adele: Outgoing, bubbly, and always down for a dance. For now i work part-time in the city (in retail). Between my social life, my gym commitments and work i keep fairly busy, but we're always down for a drink and some banter. Originally from regional/coastal NSW. I am in love with Melbourne and always take up an opportunity to explore. Roselia: Organised, laid back, tidy, and open minded. Home cooked meals and regular exercise are important to me. I currently work part-time and own a little chihuahua/ jack russell (boy). Us: We may seem different on paper but value the same qualities of life and the same qualities in people, we're excited for a new chapter, and would love to meet you!! Preferred: NO COUPLES
I work full time in advertising, been in Aus for about 5 years Melbourne about 6 months. Looking for a bit of social connection, not just a room. I train most days after work but try and get it out of the way so I can grab a meal out once a week. Keen on sports, keen on music & keen on wine.
They say I am a chilled guy XD, I come from Dubai, UAE and I am from Lebanon. I am an easy going person, friendly and open minded. I love football, working out, music and watching movies. I am an out-going person and love to socialize with others but I also like my personal space at times and respect other's personal space. I am about to start my Masters degree at RMIT University.
I'm friendly, clean, respectful, love meeting new people, making new friends and I can cook some mean Thai food. I will be starting a full time customer service job in Hawthorne and would like to live near the city or along a public transport route going through Hawthorne. I like to play video games so I would love NBN. I enjoy going out, but will be happy to live with someone who doesn't and will be 100% respectful if that is the case. I originally am Australian but grew up overseas. I would love to live with young internationals or Australians who like to travel and have a worldly view.
I’m easy going, clean and work Monday to Friday in the CBD as a corporate professional. Love socialising on a weekend which could mean hitting up bars and restaurants. Enjoy a mid week dinner out or drink or two. Also keep active during the week and am conscious of when others want their privacy or are up for a chat.
Hi I’m Emily. I’m an executive assistant and work Mon-Fri full time with the Cotton On Group.... yes you can use my discount :) My job is located in geelong. I’m a social person but do enjoy my own company and space at times. I love going out for dinner/drinks, road trips, reading, fashion, interior decorating, listening to music or finding a good tv series to watch. I’m not looking for a party house and would like housemates who like to socialise at times and have an understanding of house cleanliness and tidying up after themselves... I have new living/kitchen furniture which I can contribute or store elsewhere. I am also open to team ups as I have everything to start up a new house. Hope to hear from you :)....
Hi, my name's Zarek! I'm 19 years old and originally from the US, but grew up in New Zealand for the last 7 years. And I just moved to Melbourne this year to study musical theatre! I go to school in South Melbourne, but would be keen to live anywhere that's available/conveniently close to public transport. I'm very tidy and always like to leave a place cleaner than when I found it. I like to think I'm really friendly and down to earth, and I also respect other peoples' space if they respect my own. I love food, art, theatre, travel, and coffee, amongst other things. And I've got red hair - so if you want that token ginger housemate, I'm your guy!
Hey there ! I'm a 23 year-old student coming from France to Melbourne for a 6-month internship. I am looking for a sharehouse, a room to share, or a single room to move in, starting from July. I'm very respectful, reliable, very calm and quiet. I like to have my own space but also chilling around and having a drink or simply hanging out or sharing meals and talk about anything and everything. I clearly prefer a chilly drink with friends than a big party. I love travelling and exploring, and of course using my weekends to visit all Australia is part of my plans! I don't smoke (but it's ok if you do), and I like common spaces to be clean (though I'm not psychorigid about it) Looking forward to hear from you !
Moving to Melbourne from Perth for work (engineering). Planning to stay around 1 year. Hobbies: Dancing, travelling/exploring, food, sports Easygoing, friendly, social ambivert. Always up for a chat, good sense of humour. Considerate, previous share-house experience. Not obnoxious/selfish/arrogant. Clean and tidy. No smoking. No pets. Pay on time. I'll be in Melbourne from the 17th June. Can arrange to meet and view after then.
I'm a 33 yo guy who has been living in London for the last two years. I'm a Film/English teacher so I enjoy a good chat about films and tv. I don't mind sharing a bottle of wine at the end of the day and chatting over dinner. I'm pretty clean and ensure any shared areas I've used are tidied afterwards. Trying to get a feel of Melbourne and choose what area to live in long-term.
Hi everyone, I'm Adam - Born and bred Melbournian, I've mostly lived around the St Kilda area, except when I have been travelling (36 countries) or living overseas. I'm looking for a long-term living situation, near to St Kilda, with friendly housemates, a drug free home with a room of a decent size, or a team-up with someone not needing a car space. I run a small digital marketing business focusing on photography, video and solutions for local businesses. I've just leased an office in a co-working space in Port Melbourne. St Kilda Sea Baths will be where I spend a chunk of time, to swim, do yoga and pilates. Also enjoy wasting time catching up on my favourite TV shows most evenings, going to meetups or going out to see friends/family. I won't bring the party home and I'm pretty chilled most of the time, and love making new friends. I have some adequate cooking skills, and great food delivery ordering skills. Enjoy a beer or wine in the evening and having a chat about life, sport, politics, health - you name it. I have a setup which is better than Netflix, pretty much any TV show or Movie you could ever want, in HD is a few clicks away. I prefer a hassle-free parking situation whether on street untimed/permit or off-street. Cheers! Rental History: 3 years renting a 1BR at 62/3 Alfred Square, St Kilda 2 years renting with a friend at 10/78 Queens Rd, Melbourne 3004 4 years renting with housemates in Hawthorn when I studied at Swinburne (I was primary on the lease)
