I'm a late 20s professional working in finance / tech - fairly easy going. Outside of work, I like to read, gym, do outdoorsy activities and hang out with friends over brunch or drinks. I was in between countries for work in 2017 and looking to be more permanent in Melbourne in 2018! :) ABOUT GES Hello, I'm Ges (pronounced just like Jess)! :) I've been renting for 7 years in Melbourne and am looking for a new place as my current housemate just bought a house. Currently, I work as a Learning Designer on Bourke St, Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm. When I'm not at work I love taking photos, trying out new restaurants and cycling. Character-wise, I'm easy going, neat, tidy and respectful of personal space.
I have just recently graduated from university and am looking for somewhere new to live that is not too far from the CBD. Currently I work two part-time/casual jobs, though will likely be looking to find something full-time now that I have finished uni. I can be a bit of a neat freak and do like to live in a very tidy/organised environment. I'm looking for somewhere (or to create somewhere) that is tidy, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable to live in. Sharing similar views on these issues is very important. I do have furniture (fridge, couch, TV + table, washing machine, 2 beds, 2 desks, etc.) so would probably prefer to team up with someone else who does not have furniture (or with not much) to avoid having to pay for storage. Ideally I am looking to live with just one other person, but will consider 2. Let me know if you would have a suitable place or would like to team up and look for somewhere.
Hi, I'm Jen from England. I moved to Australia 8 years ago and I'm an academic manager at an English Language school across from Southern Cross Station. I've been living in a one bed place in Southbank for 18 months, but the owners want to move back in. I can move anytime, but must definitely be out by the 8th of March. I would prefer to stay in Southbank / South Melbourne area. I'm friendly, positive, kind, and keep my place clean and tidy all the time. I grew up in the military, so although I won't bounce coins on a bed after it's made, I equally don't like to live in filth. I generally work 9:00 - 5:00, but a couple of days a week might involve unpaid overtime... I like to run, see my friends the odd night in the week, or just chill in front of Netflix. I really like socializing over cheese and wine or wine and cheese. I would like to live with someone who can be a good friend; not just a flatmate. I have a large modular sofa bed, a smart TV with a sound bar, a washing machine, an outdoor table and chairs, an indoor table and chairs, and a queen size bed with a chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables. I would rather not sell the furniture so if you need some I can bring it with :)
Hi! My names Leanne, I'm a 23 year old English Zoology graduate and also a yoga teacher. I'm currently working in Richmond doing admin at a construction company. I am very easy going, friendly and social but very respectful of personal space. I'm looking to move ASAP as my sublet is up.
Hi there, I'm a student from Barcelona (Spain) who will be doing an exchange for 6 months (February - July), here in Melbourne and I am searching for a place to stay. I would prefer to share a place with people who is laidback but active, happy and clean. If you think I can fit in your place, let me know!!
Hi, I'm Gurleen, 23 years, I've just moved from Adelaide to Melbourne for a full-time engineering position. During the week, I like chilling out at home, watching Netflix or reading a good book. I'm planning to spend the weekends exploring Melbourne, socialising and having fun. I love being outdoors and trying different things. I'm looking for a like-minded housemate (or housemates) that I can have a great conversation and share a good laugh with. I am chilled, honest, tidy, respectful and caring, and would enjoy living with people who are on the same page as me. Would love living with people who are sociable and are always up for a chat, but also equally respect each others' privacy. Preferred length of stay: long-term (6+ months)
Hi! I am a happy positive person who loves being social but I'm not a party person at home. I work full time but also study and do research. I am respectful, helpful, busy, and clean and tidy. I also go to the gym, swim and want to start Latin dance again. I have a car and so will need a space to park it safely.
We are two friends from Ireland we have just moved to Melbourne . We are looking for two rooms and can pay $250 each. We are both working professionals, Lorna is qualified as a secondary school teacher and I work in financial services. We are sociable, enjoy some drinks or sober activities at the weekend. I love Netflix and try to be active and keep fit when I can.
Hi I am Annika, I am 24 years old and relatively new to Melbourne. I work full time in the CBD as a structural engineer. I am very easy-going and neat and most weekends you will find me searching for a yet undiscovered brunch venue. I am looking to find a house that feels like a home, with housemates that are open to the occasional family dinner/trivia night or a glass of wine after a long day. That being said I still understand the need to respect everyone's space and property. I look forward to hearing from you!
Fun, Happy and easygoing South African looking for a private room in shared accommodation - looking for something modest and neat. I am a young working professional with a stable permanent office job in the Civil Consulting Engineering field. Moved to Melbourne half a year ago after accepting an intra-company transfer from Durban South Africa to work on some major VicRoads and PTV projects. My specialist short stay Visa has now been converted to a four year 457 Visa with Permanent Residency thereafter, so I can now commit to more permanent accommodation, sign a lease, buy some furniture etc. I am fluent in English, a Non-smoker with sober habits who has got their sh#t together in life and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Looking to live with people who feel the same. Focussed and hard working during the week, although I do love socialising and going out, and I'm always out exploring and enjoying everything this great city has to offer - definitely not a couch potato or the awkward silent tipe. Interests include longboarding, snowboarding, mountainbiking and cycling, surfski paddling, hiking and any kind of adventure in general. Oh and, I'm South African - which means amazing braai skills :) (Braai = Barbeque)
Hi! I'm Georgia. I'm from the country and moved down to Melbourne three years ago for uni. I have just graduated from the Academy of Design Australia with a bachelor of design majoring in communication design and am currently looking for full time work since finishing my degree. I am pretty clean and don't leave my stuff lying around. I do not mind friends/partners of other housemates visiting as I myself have my boyfriend over a few nights a week and enjoy having friends over for drinks on the odd weekend. I am very respectful of other peoples belongings and would never do anything to damage anything. I like learning guitar and listening to music. I love animals and am cool with there being pets living in the place!
I'm a 20-year-old girl moving from Perth this year to study Music Theatre at the VCA. I'm looking for a place available at the start of March until the end of October. I sing, dance and act and thus have a pretty bubbly and fun personality. I'm very clean and tidy, organised and practical. I love cooking and hope to do a lot of it in Melbourne. I am very easy going and like to have fun! Moving from Perth, I won't know many people so am looking for flatmates who are willing to look out for me and give me a bit of company if I'm feeling lonely! That being said, I also love having my own space and don't mind peace and quiet. I'll be at uni most weekdays and hope to acquire a casual job once I arrive in Melbourne. Please contact me to find out anything else you would like to know!
Hi there! My name is Stuart, i am 24 years old, Scottish, and travelling with my girlfriend Sarah who is also 24 and Scottish! We have just finished our farm work and travelled down the east coast living out the back of our car. We are both extremely excited to move to the city! Although we do not have jobs at the moment, we are staying with our friends in Sydney for free whilst we set up interviews in Melbourne hoping to get work ASAP. Sarah is the bubbliest, kind hearted person i have ever met and does not have a bad word to say about anyone. We both love spending time with different groups of people and getting to know them. We both love to cooking fresh meals and being healthy. Sarah is a bookworm and slowly but surely converting me. We have recently travelled south east asia for 5 months and are currently planning a trip to south america for the end of the year. We are both very polite and always tidy up after ourselves (seems obvious to say however, after months of hostels and farm work we realise this is not always the case). Thanks for taking the time to read our profile and we hope to hear from you soon.

I am a 31 year old professional who works in the city. My awesome dog and I are looking for a long term rental to call home. I love keeping fit and healthy, baking, bingeing on Netflix and getting out and about. My dog is well behaved, walked daily, house trained and super cute. Ideally I would live with only one or two others. My housemates would be like minded, as clean and tidy as I am and not party animals or heavy drinkers.
