Hello, future prospective housemates! I appreciate there are so many listings at the moment so I thought I would start my advert off with being very clear about what house share I am looking for as I don't wish to waste anyones times during this busy process! I am looking for an awesome place to move in during January (no earlier than the 7th). I am looking for a house (not an apartment, sorry!) with 2-3 other people. Similar age and working professionals I am currently in Melbourne so am available for viewings in the meantime. I have a queen size bed that I will bring along with me. So I am looking for a room that would fit a queen bed comfortably (I also had a chest of drawers, bed side tables etc that I could bring along if there is space) - and would love a room where there is either a build in robe or freestanding wardrobe to hang up things). A bit about me: I have heaps of houseshare experience, am 31, work full time in allied health, am respectful, pay bills on time, am sociable. Looking for a 'home' environment where i get along with housemates and can sit down for great chats - but also love my space and will respect my fellow housemates' space as well. If this sounds like a good fit please get in contact!

Hello we are both from Japan and looking for a existing share house where we both can live together (separate room) or starting a new flat share from February 2018. I will be working full-time in the city and Nana, my friend, will be studying and working too so we will be busy I think. We are very positive, happy and friendly people so super easy to get along with ;) We are not party people but love drinking so would be going out on weekends if we’re free. We love animals and have dogs back in Japan so it would be great if you have pets! We will respect your privacy but happy to have a chat and drinks, movie night or Japanese food night too ;) We are both very tidy so keep our rooms and communal areas clean but not a cleaning freak. Anyway, we are both easy going and chilled so if you think you can share your beautiful house or start a new amazing flat with us, contact me please! We are looking forward to it. Kanae and Nana
Hi there! Originally from Melbourne, have travelled quiet a bit, but have finally settled in Melbourne. I'm looking to move to South Yarra with great people I can trust and who I can call my friends! I have always become friends with my flatmates! I'm clean, tidy, trustworthy, do not snoop, friendly and am looking for new friendships also (would prefer not to be strangers to ppl I share with). So looking for similar. I work full Monday to Friday and come home to relax, don't bring people back home - I keep socialising outside of the house. Love to go gym, pilates, yoga etc, love a bit of Netflix, an aspiring actress, and love to travel!.
I am working full time as an environmental consultant and love to keep myself busy by keeping active and trying new things (current activities include under water rugby and yoga). On my weekend I like to go for walks as an excuse to get unhealthy food at the end, discover dessert bars and head out for cocktails which I can't probably can't afford. Working full time I am often out of the house during the week but would love to move in with other young people who enjoy the odd drink and movie night! I have lived in share houses before so understand the logistics that go into keeping them running and clean! I am low maintenance, tidy, like a clean bathroom and pay my rent on time. What more could you want?!
I am Laura, 28 years old and come from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I moved down to Melbourne on a working holiday decembet 5th. I plan on living and working full time in Melbourne for at least 6 months. I love working out and eating healthy. Besides that I love to cook, reading books, watch movies/series (bingewatching..), traveling, exploring new restaurants, have social wine&dinner dates and I love going to a festival or techno party once in a while. I keep my apartment really clean and tidy. I would really love to be friends and spend time together with my flatmates, but am also attached to having my own space. I am totally okay with you having a pet in the house. I loooove cats... :))
I work full time in marketing and am looking for a fun share house in the south east/ east suburbs. I am all for finding people that I can grab some drinks with and binge watch Netflix with me but I also will be pretty busy doing other stuff. I am very active and am always on the move or doing something on the weekend. I love party pies but I can't eat gluten. I am your go to person to on anything American since I happen to be from there.
Hi I'm a friendly, social and positive person who is respectful of people's space and my home. I love my job as a teacher and wind down after work either at the gym, by the beach or chilling at home. I'm really easy to live with and like to have a chat over a glass of wine or meal with my housemates now and then- love a good cheese platter ;-) On the weekends I love playing tennis, going to markets, enjoying the outdoors and catching up with friends and family. I'm into health and fitness and have a positive outlook on life and looking to live with people with similar values.
I will be working at Bupa insurance from the 15th of February, so looking to relocated between then & the 4th of February (when I start paying rent can be negotiable) when my contract with Monash Health finishes. I probably won't be around too much as when I'm not at work I'll be going to kendo (sport) training. I have exams in April, so prior to that I'll likely be studying a fair bit. Looking for private unfurnished room. No pets. Don't mind what gender sharing with.
Hey guys, I am a professional musician looking for a place to stay in the great city of Melbourne! Fear not if noise is an issue for you as I will not be practicing 24/7 at home. I will be practicing at another place for most of the time. From my work experience as a music tutor I am a very friendly and considerate person. I understand everyone's need for space and downtime, as I am big on those! I love cooking and would be open to sharing my latest cuisine explorations with you anytime. I do make a mean sangria and I don't mind the occasional ale in sun. I like reading, watching sci fi, niche films and indulging in fancy skincare. Since I am adopting a more minimalist lifestyle, I am quiet a clean and organised person. I am looking forward to my new journey in Melbourne and hope to meet some amazing people along the way!!
Hey guys, I've been in Melbourne for 18 months now and am looking for a place to live. Am originally from Albury/Wodonga and moved down for work. I'm a health professional who works shift work, so am looking for someone/people who are respectful of this. I'm big on family and friends and would ideally like to find housemates who like to live like a little family. Enjoy cooking meals together, having a drink, chilling and having fun together. But am also aware of personal space/time. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, so don't mind doing the clean up (don't think we need a chore timetable). I'm looking for a room big enough to fit a queen sized bed, bedside tables and tallboy. Also hoping for BIR. I have a car so need either off road or om road parking. If you think I might be a good match to join your household or want to know a little more about me, then send me a message. Cheers
I am a laid back person, who loves cooking. I like hanging out with friends and knowing different cultures and backgrounds. I am from Mexico, I've been living in Melbourne 14 months.I've share flats for many year so I know the rules of sharing a house.
Hey folks, I'm moving back to Melbourne very soon and am looking for a neat new home base around the inner city. I work as a graphic designer and radio producer. I am social but value privacy, used to living w housemates. I love music, movies/shows, and books, live gigs and relaxed beers at bars, cooking and try to keep it healthy nutritious most days but do love my fries & burgers and junk food cheat days (happiness comes first), I try to live environmentally conscious, love to travel, hike, camp, do yoga and try to go for a run a couple of times a week. Basically, what I'm looking for is a studio / 1 bedroom apartment. OR a houseshare/flatshare w easy going folks that like to keep common areas habitably clean, aren't opposed to hanging out sometimes but also have their own lives and respect other people's privacy. Doesn't need to be furnished but ideally bedroom would have a built-in wardrobe. Functioning kitchen incl. essentials. Natural light preferred as i'm bringing a decent amount of greenery. Absolute dream would be a balcony or some sort of outdoor area. I appreciate it but pls do not contact w shared bedroom offers. Thank you. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Linda
Jesper works an a plumber back home, and Sandra is a physiotherapist. We´re both 26, easygoing and positive. We like to spend time at the gym and having a healthy lifestyle. But also enjoy a few drinks sometimes, go to restaurants or having dinner together. We´re no ”partypoopers”. For now we are focusing on living here, simply embrace Melbourne.

Thank you. Yana
Hi, my name is Valeria Im From Chile. This is my first time in Melbourne, I will come with a working holiday visa. I am easy going girl who likes to dance and hang out, but also like music and arts so I am open to the possibility to try new things in this Country. I smoke a little bit, but only on a social context. I like animals but I would prefer not have pets in the house at least from the start, because maybe I will be busy trying to find jobs and not take care of them. As a latina of course I speak spanish and I love to dance so maybe we can share cultural things together as a flatmate. I like outdoor activities too, if you can give me some tips or recomendation about Melbourne or places around I´m in!. Looking forward for the aventure of moving to this amazing city! Bye!
