I'm a 27yo guy from Lille, in the North of France. I'm arrived in Melbourne 2months ago, and stays now in Hostel. Looking for a private room in a flat or house share, with good vibes but not a party house. I need something clean and would like to live with down to hearth and open minded people. I’m absolutely not a drama guy, but happy, enjoys life and to share good moments. I already found a long term job in construction, and plan to stay in Melbourne for minimum 6 months. See you soon Florent
Im friendly, outgoing, unflappable and easygoing. Im very respectful and cleaned. Im teacher and undertaking a course to improve my pedagogic skills. I work on radio and really like diversity. Good music, literature, dance, chai-latte, video games and sports -gym- are some of my passions.
I'm a 25 year old from Adelaide, love my sport (basketball, AFL, cricket), coffee and just relaxing enjoying my days off. Looking for a place for a couple of months before my fiancé moves over from the US. I work at Crown so am looking for something close to the city or a tram line.
Hey, I'm 35, well-traveled across the world, worked in various cultures, multilingual and have a variety of interesting experiences to share. I am easy to get along, well-mannered, tidy, well organized and love to read. I am an experienced finance professional (Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant) and moving to Melbourne from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. I would like to find a housemate who is easy to get along. I am a hopeless cricket fanatic and have been following cricket matches from as early as the early 1990s. My cricketing nirvana was to watch the WorldCup final live in Melbourne on March 29, 2015. I like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although I am not a gym goer but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. I am committed to continuing education and was studying as recently as 2017. I love to travel and have had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia together with my wife. I am looking for something that is short to medium term until my wife joins me close to the mid-November. I am aiming to move in around the week starting Monday, September 17th. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair
My name is Manu, I'm a 29 years old Spanish that has been around Melb for the last year. I work full time as a financial auditor, but always find time to do some fun stuff. Looking for easy going, clean, respectful flatmates to share some adventures and good moments with.
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time) :)
I've just moved to Melbourne, from Sydney for a new job working as a content manager for a global marketing platform. I'm a social 23 year old male, mature for my age and can hold a conversation with just about anyone. With a background working in radio, I love a chat, have a sense of humor and enjoy my music of many genres. I play american football and will be out of the house some weeknights for training and for games on weekend. I enjoy a drink while socializing with others on weekends and I'm after a room in a house of good down to earth fun people. I'm working in Albert Park so a place with good transport or a clear bike path are handy. I've also got a 1974 Holden Kingswood I drive so off the street parking is a bonus but not a deal breaker. Non smoker, healthy and active, very handy with fixing bits around a house and understand the etiquette of living with others. I'm ready to move in right away and available on weekends or after work to come say gday. Hope I can be the housemate you're looking for!
Hi there! I am moving to Melbourne next week. I am a full time PhD student, plus I work 2 days per week as a Sports Dietitian, which essentially means working 6-7 days per week. I’m quiet and respectful and really don’t want to live in a party house but do enjoy the occasional dinner party/board games with wine/gin with house mates. I don’t smoke and would prefer to live in a non smoking house. I have an adorable, cuddly kitty - who turned my current house mate from a non cat lover, to a cat lover. I hope to find kind and respectful house mates who don’t mind having their own lives but also enjoy flatmates company.
I am a Canadian in Australia for the first time on a Working Holiday Visa. I am a respectful roommate that loves a good conversation and a social household. Cleanliness and minimalism is definitely a priority of mine as mess, especially in smaller units, can leave the space feeling small and cluttered. Very easy going and approachable. Have experience with many and few flatmates. Love board games, pints, walks, gym and guitar
Hi :) Im Linda, Im half irish half spanish so look Spanish with an Irish accent lol. I'm a pretty chilled person, easy going and laid back. I'm quite a very clean and tidy person and I'm very used to shared accommodation as I have lived in shared house on and off over the last 10 years. I work full time and study as well so I'm not around very much and in my free time on a Saturday I like getting out and about, catching up with friends, being outdoors and Love being out in the sun when its here and i can get the time. And also like a night out every other weekend. I like to interact with my housemates when I'm there or cooking etc but do also keep myself to myself quite a lot. Looking forward to meeting new people and finding a place to call home.
Hello, I'm Samantha, Italian, 29 years old, currently working in hospitality. I love languages and cultures, running, psychology, good food and wine. I'm also very clean and tidy. I like to socialise but also to enjoy my own space. I'm looking for a place not only where to sleep but also to call home.
Hi! Gokhan here. I'm, a 29-year-old Data Scientist who wants to spend the rest of his time in lovely Melbourne after having 2 and a half years in Sydney. I am currently up-skilling myself in the field of Artificial Intelligence, so most of my time is dedicated to my computer and codes; it might sound a bit nerdy, not that scary though, trust me! I am a physically active, non-smoker individual; I regularly go to gym (Anytime Fitness), cook my own food, eat healthily and rarely have a glass of wine or two. I don't expect much from my prospective flatmates. We are all grown-ups, so I know everybody knows how to treat each other, and just because we are humans, we are likely to have conflicts every now and then. Still, I believe people can solve any problem as long as they are able to communicate. It is sad that I am not available for face to face inspection as I am currently overseas and I will be till the end of August; however we can arrange a Face Time call or something else.
I'm Canadian, but I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. I'm extremely tidy, and request others be the same. My background is in Finance and Law, and I currently work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. While I enjoy a nice dinner party, I do not want to live in a party house. I'm an early morning person - generally in the office before most people are awake so I can be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time, so a good kitchen would be great. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. Or also a team up - I have enough furniture to furnish the place too. My current apartment has a spare bedroom which we use for storage, and also a spare double bed I have so guests/friends can stay over when needed. It would be great to have a spare bedroom again though it's not mandatory. I'm looking for a move date closer to the end of October but can be flexible.
I'm 25 years old, and a very easy going person. I enjoy going out and being social at home in a healthy balance with my own space and privacy. I work as a travel consultant with an African safari company full time in South Melbourne, so I get to combine my love of travel and wildlife in what I do for work. I'm a very tidy, organised person and willing to be flexible and compromise where necessary. I'm hoping to find some like-minded people to live with, somewhere it is easy to reach work on public transportation (though I do have a car so parking is ideal too though not a must).
Hi there! I'm an easy going German studying at VU. Looking for a sociable flat or share house preferably with my own room and somewhere close to the city. I enjoy spending time together but also respect each others privacy! Hope to hear from you guys soon :)
25 year old female originally from Sydney but have been in Melbourne 2 years now. I work full time in a night shift role (4pm-2am) which generally means I am home by about 3am. I'm extremely considerate of sharing my living environment after 10 years of shared living now so you won't come home to a mess, a rowdy party or be woken up at a ridiculous hour by a blender. I'd like to think I'm really easy going and always up for checking out cafes/bars/restaurants around town but my happy place is definitely trail running out in the mountains, hiking new trails and camping or adventuring down the coast. I keep active with these pursuits but also like to compete throughout the year in off road ultra marathons and am slowly dipping my toes into rogaining/mountaineering. Pretty easy going and love meeting people from all walks of life. I'm a non-smoker and looking to live in a smoke free home.
We're a young couple coming form Italy, friendly, easy going, open minded and we love to meet new people. We are clean and tidy and always polite to everyone. We are moving to Melbourne hoping to live a nice experience, learn as much as we can from the Country and the peolpe.
My name is Ernesto, I'm a 29 year old mechanical engineer moving to Melbourne. I am originally from Venezuela and Spain, speak fluent english and spanish and know basic (very basic) chinese and french. Have traveled around to about 20+ countries and lived in 4. I played competitive tennis for about 10 years, so I like keeping an active healthy lifestyle. Enjoying socializing with friends out in the city or a get together at home for grilling, wine night etc. and also enjoying the beach or going on adventures. I also don't mind staying home just relaxing. I am super easy going, tidy, friendly, and considerate.
