Just two Canadian girls who are looking to spend a few months working in Melbourne! ( Looking to rent 2 bedrooms) We are easy going, above average cooks ;), love the outdoors and going for a pint or two once and a while!
Hi, I'm Hanna! I moved from Norway to Australia about a year ago to study architecture at Melbourne University. When I'm not studying, I like to draw and paint, listen to music, watch movies, swim, and enjoy a night out every now and then. I don't mind having people over, and will usually go to the library if I need to study. I also like to cook and bake vegan food. Don't worry I'm not militant, but If you have a garden/outdoor area I would love to grow some veggies :) Hope to find some friendly and positive house mates (read: future friends) and a home not too far from Uni.
Hi Good Morning: I am easy going guy looking for a team up to take a lease. I am a mindful and friendly guy who is working in chemist warehouse and studying accounting. I want to live with people as a family, to share a dinner no every day but sometimes in a Saturday. I am very clean and tidy and this point is very important for me. I love sports and outdoor activities. Legs get together and team up for a lease. cheers
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, playing guitar, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade piano playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
Hey guys! I'm a Kiwi looking to move over to Melbourne end of Jan/early Feb. I like fitness, theater, the occasional cheeky drink or two and even cooking! I'm nice and tidy, get along with pretty much anyone and I always pay bills on time :)
Me and my boyfriend just moved to Melbourne! Looking to stay around 6 months. We are pretty chill, clean up after ourselves etc. We enjoy socializing but also introverted so space time too. We enjoy live music, some drinks, meditation, yoga, sustainability/gardening (been living on a permaculture farm in Thailand for 8 months). Looking for some interesting, laid back, respectful people!
My name is Ayako which I understand is hard to pronounce so just call me Aiko. I'm from Japan and Vietnam, but can speak English fluently as I've lived in Australia for almost 10 years now. Currently a year 12 student, sounds unorthodox, I know. But, there are a quite of few optimistic ways to view this! Firstly, I'm a studious, conscientious and committed student. Hence, I won't be home much due to school, work and gym. I'll be spending most of my time after-school at the local library or probably at the gym. I'm outgoing and love pets. I've owned fishes and a plethora of dogs (which I have many adorable photos to show). Secondly, I'm a mature but humorous dog lover! I'm always willing to spend time with everyone, open-minded and will be always up for a chat when I'm home. I'm willing to cook dinner for everyone (free of charge) hehe and excited to learn about the adult life. I have lots to learn, but I also have lots to show for my fellow flatmates.
Hannah is 21 and a full-time student, Vas is 22 and working full time as a security guard. We are both easy-going and friendly people. We are moving to Melbourne from Mildura and are currently looking for a place to live. We like meeting new people and enjoy being active, but also like our quiet nights. We enjoy cooking together and appreciate living in a clean environment.
Engineer-Traveller-Model-Dancer-Photographer I am In Australia for doing my Masters.I am extremely easy to get a long with, humble, tidy and friendly.I love to make new friends.I'm respectable & clean.I love to hangout with my friends.I am looking for a new home and friends while I study and work in Melbourne.Together we will rock !
Hey guys, I'm Mark and been living in Australia now for 3 years and love Melbourne as a city. Work as a full time teacher and like to work on my art in my spare time. I'm chilled and like a social house but also my own time. Clean and tidy guy and well house trained. Love music, weekends away, out doors, house dinners, beers and just kicking back. Never good at writing these things but get in touch if it sounds like I could fit. Looking forward to hearing from you guys and looking asap.
I love animals, gardening, sleeping in, reading and garlic bread. I am currently a uni student majoring in psychology but not one of those annoying ones who think they can psychoanalyse everything you do just because they've taken a class on cognitive psychology before.
Hi, we're Cassie and Maddie, two friends both originally from Coffs Harbour in NSW now studying down at La Trobe :) We're looking to move into an already established (but unfurnished rooms at least) shared house or either start up a new one with 1 or 2 females, preferably studying but between 19-25 Willing to pay up to 170-200 in rent per week each for 2 rooms (not including bills) I'm Cassie (on the right) I'm on my 3rd and (maybe) final year of my Animal and Veterinary Bioscience course, so I love anything science and animals! I would consider myself quiet and laid back but if the time is right I'm down for a Stollies tuesday Hi I'm Maddie, (on the left) I'm on my second year of a B. Science at La Trobe and thinking of going into secondary teaching I'm a big music person, would love for someone to go to gigs with and share a bottle or 2 of wine with We're both vegos (non-preachy dw) that love to watch bad reality tv shows including The Bachelor, I'm a Celeb... etc etc Feel free to message us about anything :)
I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I'm living in Melbourne since November/16. I'm studying English and working to extend my VISA. I'm a simple girl, I enjoy to hang out with my friends, drink, walk in park, 420, see art/murals, I love music, pets, good food and see the sunset on the beach. Most of the time I'm working in the morning/afternoon and studying in the evening.
Love music, singing, songwriting, teaching, family and peeps. Enjoy the occasional cook up but happy to keep cooking seperate. Not a clean freak but not a bum, keep my organised mess in my room and happy to an equal cleaning household. Putting myself out there to find some like minded people who can have some fun and have mutual respect.
Looking for friendly, clean, respectful house share. Age late 20's to 40 is fine. I'm a homely person, i like to come home and feel safe and secure. I have a professional office support work back ground, although I've left this industry to pursue a career in nursing etc..
Hi everybody. I'm a 24 year-old part-time student and wine-selling person. I'm currently doing my Masters in Social Policy at Melbourne Uni. I've lived in sharehouses in Carlton and Fitzroy North in the past and want to live somewhere northside again. I'm keen on basically anywhere north of the city but south of Bell St. Budget is ~$170/week max and on-street parking and a reasonably nearby train or tram are musts. I'd be most interested in living with other people around my own age. I'd also consider starting a new share house with 2-3 other people - preferably young professional and/or other grad students
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
I'm super laidback, from Brisbane, am a philosophy graduate so always! keen for a chat, all about being positive because life's short, I don't drink or smoke unless there's good music, I'll be working or researching most of the time but always have time for a cup of tea or some afternoon chills, I love everyone and respect all cultures and identities, etc. Am happy to eat vegan if you're household is vegan. That's it really! I'm keen to get hiking and camping around victoria on my weekends/days off so if that's your thing, even better :) Keen on finding a room (flexible on furnishings) for any amount of time that I can, or finding people keen to get a house together (sign a lease) in one of these areas for 12months+
Hi, I'm Carly! I'm 21, currently studying second year nursing and working part time. Because of the study I'm not really a big partier, so I'm just looking for a home where I'm content to study, relax and unwind. Happy to be social with housemates but I totally understand if you need your space too. Won't be at home much during the day due to uni/work/horse/boyfriend. Animal lover, will scream on sighting cute doggos, have a horse you can visit and play with. Love a good laugh. Can teach you some killer jiu jitsu/MMA moves. Can patch up any boo-boos, take out splinters. Italian, can cook like nona makes it. Qualified swim teacher, can teach you how to swim.
Hi! I'll arrive in Melbourne on February 12th to begin my master studies in Construction Management at the University of Melbourne. I'm 27 yo & have lived abroad for the past 7 years (mostly in shared houses, so I know well how to live with roomies in peace & enjoy it.;)). I'm clean, tidy, laid back, friendly & my friends say funny too :D. In my free time I'd love to cook (gotta be careful to not eat your fingers :P), share a beer or two (wine is even better), watch movies, go for a walk or hike! I'm ideally looking for a private room in an existing shared house but also willing & excited to team-up with other cool, easy-going people looking for a place to call home. :)
Electrical Engineer moving from Perth to Melbourne, working full time in the automotive industry. Pretty chilled out dude, always up for a casual beer and some sports but my heavy partying days are mostly behind me so not really looking for a party house. Love playing sport and keeping active, and on the lookout for a new footy (AFL) club to play for (so if you play as well, great!). Love my beer and wine and attempting to cook new food (and most likely failing). Looking for a room around the Brunswick area and hopefully with housemates who will quickly become mates.
I'm a bit of an arty farty chick who is currently studying Advertising at RMIT. I have a concerning obsession with Japanese food and Instagram. I also love a bit of banter and go crazy over art, music, food and photography. I'm originally from The Sunshine Coast (QLD) and only moved down to Melbs at the start of 2016 (still a bit of a newbie) so I'm always very keen to meet new, like minded people! I'm super clean (but not a neat freak), independent, and very easy going. I love hanging out with my friends so I would definitely be inviting people over every now and then! I am very excited to cook up a storm next year as I love to cook too, however I cannot go past 2 min noodles most of the time.
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty good sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life style is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. (Though i can be flexible with the bed depending on the quality). I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating with the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally, I'll do my share and a good job at that! :) Having my own bathroom is preferred aswell. Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage, so I don't see it fair to pay for others excessive usage. I will give you peace of mind with my usage :) Also I'm a really big animal lover, so if you have any pets I'll be happy to have them around :) :) 💜 Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Easy going, social, but I've got quite a bit on so the relaxed kind of social. My books, my plants and myself are looking for place to share with fun, open-minded, respectful people who are used to share space. I'm studying and teaching french for a living. French is my native language and even though I've been in Australia for ages my choice of words appears to be a fairly good source of entertainment.
I'm 28 and work fulltime as a Doctor. I've just returned from living and working in London for the last two years and now need somewhere to stay! Ideally I'd like a furnished room (with ensuite if possible) and a place with a possibility that my partner could also move in when he joins me here in a few months time. We are both friendly, tidy and considerate people, and enjoy a good chat over a glass of wine :-)
1. A happy food fighter with laughter 2. PIXAR 3. majoring in Fashion merchandising 4. A listener 5. always keen for a glass of wine...maybe two;p 6. love to clean and organise stuff in order(not obsessed) 7. A dog lover 8. know how to enjoy and behave as a flatmate
A full time uni student, attending RMIT Fashion School in Brunswick, looking for a room near the campus (Brunswick, Carlton, Fitzroy, Coburg ....). Would prefer something long term (6 months - 1 year) and willing to spend around 175-180 p/w or 200 p/w (including bills and internet). I have loads of experience living in share houses and am pretty laid back. I have good social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying; would much rather go to a pub for a drink or 2. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing kitchen and toilet facilities. Will respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :)
Hey team Recently moved down to Melbourne to study Youth Work at RMIT and indulge in the lifestyle down this way. Originally from Coffs Harbour but have been living in Canada doing some cool things for a couple of years, but wanted to come down to Melbs and study. I'm 26 and I've been waitressing, travelling and Skiing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I want to live with people who are like-minded, and love to have a chat/drink/ meal together every now and then. I love drinking coffee, sports, and getting outside and taking advantage of the weather when its lovely :) Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
Looking for TWO bedrooms! (rent budget referred is per person) We're all three very tidy and neat individuals, professional in housesharing. Positive vibes and healthy cooking is our thing. All three of us are dead on the bed about 22.00-23.00 and so waking up early. We're busy during the week and the weekend, all day. For fun we might enjoy a beer maybe once or twice a week, meanwhile chillout music is the background. We also love taking care of plants, want to get our own cactuses, chilly and aloe pots. We love animals, although we don't own any pets.
Hey there, I'm Iggi from good old Germany. Just moved to Melbourne because why not! Graduated geosciences and now I'm looking for a job in my field ( or just hospitality like the past 8 years) and a room in an open-minded flatshare. I like to watch good movies, drink vine, techno/house/electronic music events and clubs, getting wasted (the 50 hours awake style), fotography, motorbikes and bicycles and I like to work (yeah, strange, i kno...) contact me, or don't! Greetings, Iggi
I am very easy going and clean. I love meeting new people and get along with just about everyone I meet. I am extremely organized and hard working. My lease is ending very soon and I need a new home for a few weeks until my future housemates lease ends so we can get a house. Feel free to message if you have a room that could work and wanna chat.
My partner is leaving me behind for the year while she heads to Canberra for work. I'm looking for a new home, and new people to share with. I'm in my mid-twenties, working part time as a landscape labour and casually in a small local brewery. I'm a keen home brewer and regularly brew (pretty damn tasty) beer, so if you've got room for me and little bit of brewing gear you can look forward to a reasonably consistent stream of good beer. I'm into a wide range of music and would like to find a house where music is enjoyed and shared. I enjoy bushwalking/hiking and I may talk about plants a bit too much whilst I am doing those things. I've lived in a few sharehouses both in Sydney and down here, and am reliable and communicative re rent, bills and chores etc... I have lived in the inner north now for around two years and am hoping to find a new house here with housemates who are fairly chill, and like some of the same stuff as me, as well as some things I am yet to enjoy.
Hi I'm Nelly. 24 year old professional female. I've just moved back to melbourne from sydney and I'm currently looking for a place to move into for 6 months. I'm a hairstylist / makeup artist. I'm very laid and down to earth. I can be sociable and outgoing but I do like my personal space. I'm currently rediscovering melbourne again so on the weekends I'm normally out at work or somewhere with family and friends. If I sound like a potential roommate please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks :) X
I am Zarli and my partners name is Rory. We are both turning 20 this year and are from country victoria wanting to move to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I will be studying nursing at ACU and my boyfriend will be working full-time. We both have savings behind us so paying rent on time etc will never be an issue. We are both reliable, considerate, honest, and aware of the needs of others. We love to chat and share a meal from time-to-time but are also introverted and enjoy our alone time. Would love the chance to get to know you better and what you are looking for in a housemate! Cheers!
I'm a 33 year old masters student at RMIT, working part time at Melbourne Uni Asia Institute. I also teach tai chi, when i have students, I am getting into boxing this year. I like cycling and bushwalking, and I am torn between hardcore and post-hardcore punk. I like John Banville and I can play the piano. When it's my turn to clean, I clean like a pro. Non-smoker, meat eater, social drinker. I have conversational-level Japanese; I used to work there. I am basically a damn chill flatmate.
'm 26 and have a steady income from a music festival business I run up in QLD (still running it via my laptop from wherever I go). Rent will always be in before the due date every single time. I'm a social kind of guy, but I'm not too intense. I can read social cues and I can tell when someone just wants to be left alone and chill. I like to keep a tidy house, I clean up after myself straight away and you'll have me voluntarily cleaning the bathroom all of the time. I love to live in places where everyone contributes to the household including cooking meals. Obviously everyone's always going to have different schedules and it doesn't quite work out every night but I like to do it as often as possible. My specialties are a spinach/feta/chicken pie and a roast, but can also do many more. My biggest interest is music (hence the festival). I tend to go to shows pretty often, already have tickets to see a band called Snarky Puppy in April. Not sure if you've heard of them or not but they are one of my favourites. Hoping to move to a place where everyone's pretty chilled out and gets along well with each other and can discuss any issues diplomatically. If you have any other questions about me, just ask. But ideally, meet me :)
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to work full time in a legal-tech program. I am also a part time postgraduate student studying externally. I'll be busy working and studying in the week. On the weekends I hope to explore Melbourne and meet new friends. I'm friendly and always up for a chat, but also independent. I'll be neat and tidy too!
I am a very tidy, look after myself, and try to give everyone their personal space. At the same time I love engaging with people and getting to know them, so I love a good chat! Also, I'm a mad cook and barista so I have that going for me
My partner and I are looking for a short term place to live for the summer holidays. We are looking for a place near the city or 30-50 minutes transport ride to the city would be okay too. We are easy going people who enjoy to have a chat, tidy and enjoy getting out of the house.
Hi there, I'm a 28 year old aged care support worker and masters student looking to move into a new place. I'm a cheery, social person who likes cooking and gardening and exploring new places. I've listed a few locations but I'm pretty flexible as to where I go, really. I'm flexible with the rent per week too. I'm more interested in finding a good place with a good group of people.
Hi , i am Ander i am 29 years old,i am a musician currently studying and working in Sydney .I am moving to Melbourne to continue my studies in sound production .Although studying music takes a lot of my time I am super chilled and always up for a chat or to grab a coffee or watch a movie.Usually on weekends i enjoy chilling going for a run and socialising . Moving date is flexible. I am tidy and respectful and easy to live with.I don't like drama and believe everything can be solved with a conversation . I really enjoy socialising but i am not a party animal .Would love to live in a place where i can develop a friendship with my housemates . Don't own any pets but love animals.
Deferred last year and recently returned from working a full season in the Canadian Rockies, currently working full-time on the Peninsula over summer before moving into the city to study. Sociable, easy going, independent, and tidy. Will be studying at RMIT.
Hi! My name is Tom, I'm from Melbourne. I'm looking for a room close to Fitzroy but happy for surrounding areas if close to public transport. Easy going, responsible, friendly guy always open for a chat. Likes having a bit of space from time to time and respects others too. Full-time student at Australian College of the Arts and work part-time as a Disability Support Worker. In my spare time I enjoy going out with friends and seeing live music.
Hello everybody! We are Sarah (English) and Mathias (Swedish). We are 30 and 27 years old, both in Australia on our 2nd year working holiday visa's. We are looking for a room in a shared house/apartment in Melbourne for the next 6 months. We are friendly, easy to get along with and respectful of others. We have both lived in shared accomodation for the past year and enjoy shared living. We are clean, always tidy up after ourselves and are reliable with rent payments. We enjoy socialising and having a beer with housemates, but are also happy to spend time on our own. We are happy to live in a house with pets. We hope to hear from you soon!
We're both very easygoing soon-to-be film students at RMIT and come from a theatre background - we love all things music and performance related. Sean loves to play guitar and video games in his spare time, whilst I enjoy cooking, reading and watching films. We both like to be active and would also love the occasional housemate tea! We're clean, tidy and respectful people and are looking for an already-established share house as this will be our first time living in Melbourne :) Ps. We have many brand new home accessories which we can bring if required - particularly things that belong in the kitchen such as pots, pans, teacups etc.
Hi! I'm Georgia, I'm 24 and have just graduated as a secondary teacher. I like to think that I have a good balance being social with being a netflix binger! I like cooking (can be something of a procratibaker), going out for a drink with friends and going for walks or to the gym.
Females only. Canadian studying law in Melbourne. Looking for an affordable apartment/room with accessible transport to the city. Cleanliness is important to me. Will be studying most of the time, not looking for a party house though I do take the weekends to socialize every so often. Friendly and easy going, looking for housemates similar in age and ambition.
Hey there! Moving down from Sydney and looking for a room in a house-share from around Feb 1. Preferably in the north, near Brunswick, however very flexible. Looking to pay between 130-180 however can stretch for the right place. I'm an easy going guy who likes a dance and beer on the weekend. Into music and film and art etc...I'm a fine art/photography graduate. I'm a clean and respectful housemate, and generally very good at up keep and household duties/bills. I would prefer a house that is slightly social, however very comfortable doing my thing. As I'm new to town I'm sure I'll be out and about for a large portion of time. any questions feel free to ask. Thanks Mitch
I am looking for a share with like minded people. I like to live in a clean and tidy environment, but also like to be able to socialize so would like to live with people who I can get on with and maybe go for the occasional drink or two. I like to have a good balance of work, rest, train and play. I'm very active and keep fit in a variety of ways and have done a lot of different sports. I tend to suck at most of them, but I'm a very good cyclist and I'm persistent and just enjoy training and playing. I love to cook (eat) good food, listen to music and go out for a drink. I'm not a party animal these days but do like the occasional session in the pub with mates. I am English and have been in Melbourne for 2 years now. I am a software developer, but not a stereotypical type. I am considerate, like to live in a tidy house and think I'm a damn good housemate.
I'm a third year student studying philosophy / politics. I spend most of my time reading and blurting out terrible puns. I don't smoke.I also like music, most often found within the broad genres of indie-pop and melodic hardcore / metalcore I lived at college previously, so I can do the whole communal living schtick. I'm a relaxed, open minded and respectful person. LGBT+ friendly
I love animals, especially dogs so I'm easy. I'm good with the occasional house party, but I'd rather a quiet night in or some close friends over for a chill. I'm all the usual things, neat, respectful, independent, responsible etc. I like to keep busy doing theatre when I'm not working/studying/eating/sleeping, so that'll take up a lot of my semesters. I want a house I can can home, somewhere to retreat and unwind.
