Hey there. I'm a 27 yr old relocating to Brisbane for work. I'll be working full time at nights in the valley and will need a place to crash and keep my things. I'm very clean but not annoyingly picky about being clean. I keep to myself mostly but not afraid to have a chat or beer and just hang out. I'd say I'm just like anyone else. Moving up from the country so the city is all very fascinating but I'll be spending most of my time working as a bartender. I'm also a personal trainer and I'm basically a gamer at heart. :)
Hi, I'm French, 28, currently starting my PhD in biology at UQ/Griffith for the next 3 years. I love outdoors activities. I'm easy going, social and I'm looking for a studio or a place to team up with some cool housemates who are respectful and who also enjoy sometimes sharing a drink and a chat to keep a nice atmosphere in our shared house :) I don't have pets but love them, and I have a real passion for venomous organisms : that's why I came to Oz ! But don't be afraid I won't pick some to our place ;) I'm looking for a nice house to share with up to 4 other housemates, or ideally a studio surrounded by nature ^^ Cheers :)
Hi, I have been in Bundaberg QLD for 6 months and I am looking for places on the Gold Coast or Southside Brisbane for better work opportunities, I have lived on the Gold Coast my whole life I am a 23 year old male who is somewhat OCD with cleanliness and I respect other people’s belongings. I work in the construction industry. I work 38 to 40 hours each week on day shifts. I have 1 Bullmastiff puppy And I have 1 son who lives with his mum in Bundaberg so occasionally I visit on weekends. Other than that i do boxing 3 times a week. I do not do drugs, smoke, and having a nightlife doesn’t interest me.
Hi Everyone! I'm a Single Straight guy looking for a place to call home. I work in construction so my days can be fairly long but I still like to make time for paying the Gym a visit as I try to live a reasonably healthy lifestyle. I enjoy going out for a feed, movies, sports and maybe a scotch or two or whatever random thing maybe on the cards. I'm a quite easy to get along with and happy to have a chat about the day had and watch movies or whatever but I also respect ones privacy if that's what they prefer. I'm also good with pets though have none of my own. Also a little bit of storage for a couple took boxes and fishing gear would be great if possible otherwise I will put them in storage. Please if you are into drugs of any sort I ask you do NOT contact me. Well I hope to hear from you. Take care and talk soon! Trent :)
Hi, i work full time for the Government, im really easy to get along with i clean up after myself, i keep active and fit. i am looking at the end of February to move out. could move sooner depending on the place. Non smoker anything else just flick us a text..
Hi there, my name is Sabrina and I’m a 23-year-old German student. I’ll move to Brisbane in February to study architecture at the UQ for two semesters. I am a really easy-going person and I love to meet new people. I am clean and tidy, respectful, reliable and open-minded. I also enjoy cooking, the beach, good weather, horse riding and quality time with my friends.
Hi there I'm a 30 year old working professional relocating from Canada to work for Virgin mid February. I'm super outgoing and social but also love a quiet night at home with a nice bottle of wine. Because I'm relocating and will not have a car, I'm looking to live in a neighbourhood that is very accessible by public transit.
EDIT: Just cancelled my lease and will be available to move by 7th Feb 2018.. I am 28 yo male, living on me own and after a shared accommodation relatively nearer to city. I am full time working professional (engineer in constructions) and moved in Brisbane 5 months ago but settled in Northern suburbs because my work place is also in north. Now, I want move nearer to city as now has my own car. So distance now no more an issue. Furnsihed / unfurnished, I am fine with both. My preference is to have own room but hopes, will find an very friendly atmosphere in a place I could feel home. After work, I am usually up for chat and love too cook food (occasionally not regularly). Food I cook tastes more if cooked on gas stove. Place with a garage or reserved parking would be an additional plus. Place somewhere nearer to expressway that can get me to northern suburbs easily. Yes afterall, need a good night sleep, so a relatively quieter place in working days. Weekday, I don't mind noisy nights. I don't smoke at all, so would prefer a non-smoking place. In short, after a place, where we can meet friends and experience the life of this very cultural city. If you think we can group up for leasing or already have a space for me, please get in touch...... We can get to talk further details from there. Thanks Shojat
Oh Hey! I’m a student at QUT so I spend most of my time studying either on campus or at home and bartend a couple days/nights a week. I’m very clean and tidy. I’m low key and chill a majority of the time but love to be a social little butterfly when time allows it. I’m pretty active, living a fit and healthy lifestyle, so a fellow fitness flatmate would be fun. People describe me to be a positive presence and very down to earth. I have a kitty companion with an adorably amusing personality who loves a little cuddle. 😊✌🏽
Hi I'm Andy I'm looking for temporary accommodation, at this stage. I work full time, professional. Clean, respectful, social, considerate. Time frame would be between now and April, I return from a holiday in Europe early April. Have a great day!
Daniel Krynauw, 20 year old South African studying at UQ (3rd year undergraduate degree). Social and outgoing but do enjoy my own space from time to time. Really into sports, outdoor activities and hanging out with friends. Tidy, organised and respect others and their space.
Hi, I'm a very quiet and self kept person who enjoys independence. I work fulltime and enjoy spending quality time with my cat (9y/o, male and desexed) watching Netflix and meeting friends out and about. I like to cook, create and hope to move to a place with a yard so I can practice my hoola hooping and do yoga.
I like living in an environment that is inspiring and inviting. I can cook, having worked in kitchens during and following High School for a few years. These handy skills prove their worth. I like Gardens...and well-kept external areas...and am more than happy to assist with yard maintenance. ...I like researching topics of interest to the extent that I become quite versed on specifics, even before I have stepped out my front door. This goes for most things of great interest to me, which includes Travel... For over 4 Years I have been teaching myself the art of Financial Markets Trading. As a 'Chartist' - (Technical Analyst), I identify signals, trends (reversals and continuations) within the scope of the market... This includes timeframes from minutes...to days, weeks and months...This is something for my personal time. I will be taking this to the next level in the coming months. I started in Shares...and migrated to other financial instruments following 6 months of concerted effort. My journey continues... 2018 represents a 'coming together' on several levels for me personally...and professionally. My return to Brisbane will take place as part of a Greater Plan. Upon my return I will commence immediately with a Finance Company as a Broker / Assistant to Director. I will be working with a former associate on a 'Start Up'. This business will take up all of my working week, including some evenings for related meetings, et cetera. All of this means I will be diligently involved with personal and professional pursuits that shall allow me to confidently commit to a share house experience for a time that is suitable and beneficial to us both. (I would prefer a place with just one other resident) I Shall place great value on the undertaking of such pursuits as required - both professional and personal. And, when time is available for reflection on the hard work endured to successfully complete the week, I will most likely be the first to turn off...and, tune out!
Recent graduate from UQ and looking for a full time position while currently working 2 part time jobs. Pretty easy going, chilled guy who enjoys having a few beers and going out. Happy to hangout and have a few drinks with flatmates throughout the week and weekend but also appreciate my own space. Looking for some fun, friendly, outgoing flatmates who keep reasonably tidy and clean. Thanks :)
I'm from Lismore, NSW, moving up to Brisbane to study Arts/Law at UQ. I love books, cats, long walks and tea, 'm respectful of others' need for space and cleanliness as I appreciate it myself though I'm always up for a chat/ bonding experience. I'm vegan (if that makes a difference either way) and I love to cook and am happy to supply the occasional leftovers :)
Hey, so I'm currently looking for an upgrade to my current living arrangements, namely something that isn't on the top of a hill and somewhere that is easier to get around, you know, somewhere flat, or somewhere that isn't on a hill. Don't get me wrong, I love hills, I just don't want to live on one. I come pre furnished, I even have a TV and an Xbox, a real veritable assortment of accessories such as kitchenware, tools, even a workbench. When I'm not procrastinating my existence away, I'm either at UQ, my job which is a waiter at a steakhouse, or scraping together what I have left of a social life into something mentally productive. With that said, I'm really looking for a more cohesive, homely place to live, if you have parties or gatherings or do movie nights or just talk a bunch of nonsense I'm down completely, I mean obviously in moderation, but also I'm not against being social. I'm also super into Photography, so if you have longings for film equipment or just want to learn, I'm definitely interested. In regards to teaming up, it isn't something I'm against, but at the same time I'm not really in the business of owning stuff, so it would have to be something where I'm just filling a room.
I'm a kind, considerate and tidy chick who loves to socialise but also likes my own space. I enjoy being outdoors, but as i'm studying, it's highly likely you will find me with my head in a book... but feel free to pull me away for fun days/evenings/nights. I currently work in childcare.
I am super easy going and fun to live with. I work full time at the Wesley Hospital so am looking for somewhere to live close by work. I am social, love my yoga and pilates, music, wine and Netflix ;) Looking for like minded people to live with.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am quite independent and like to keep everything very clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and am living here up until the end of January, so I may be a bit of a busy-bot for the first few months of living in Brisbane, as I love discovering new places and seeing new things. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is quite a sweet little thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us (preferably spacious as I will have Millie's scratching pole, bed, enclosed toilet and off ground food bowls to go in) available towards the end of January 2018, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
Full time student at the University Of Queensland. Looking to move out of home for the first time. I like to think that I'm friendly and tidy. I keep to myself but am always keen for a good chat and wine :)
My friend and current roommate Hollie, are moving out of our 2 bedroom place in march and are looking for a 3rd person to live with. We would be looking at a 3 bedroom place in these suburbs; Paddington, Bardon, Red Hill, Petrie Terrace, and will consider similar areas. We would love to go house hunting with our new roomie and apply for a place together which suits everyone. Hollie works and studies, and I am a full time worker, who works at home a couple days a week. During the week we are pretty chilled; cook, watch netflix's, catch up and on the weekends we love to go to the markets and the beach. Let us know if you are interested and we can catch up for a coffee.
