I´m tidy and I like order. Respectful and good listener. I think I know how to respect the other´s space. I´m friendly and I like to share cultural curiosities. I like to cook when I have time. I´m sporty. I have studied Journalism and Teaching at Spain, and I´m in Australia to improve my English and live a great experience. I hope you could be part of it! =)
Hi there, I'm Ness! I'm looking for a place while I continue (the seemingly never ending journey) of saving for a house deposit. And no, I will not sacrifice smashed avo. I'm single and have a pretty good balance in life. I'm housemate trained after share housing for a decade or so, including basics such as: - keeping communal areas tidy - 'clean as you go' kitchen habits - pushing a vacuum cleaner and other weekly chores - replacing toilet paper and other household items - Netflix binging - kicking back and having a chat with a drink in hand or over dinner - respecting/ giving you space I highly value staying active, healthy and happy, which means I'm busy during the weekdays with: - exercising (boxing, running, gym, indoor soccer, walking, or other) - working full time in health and community care (including some travel) - spending time with mates Weekends are for adventures, events, and sometimes relaxing. Things I'd like to do at any time? - travel. I just got back from trekking to base camp Everest which (probably needless to say) was incredible. Diving somewhere is happening for the Easter break... - eat. I love eating, particularly anything fresh, or on a brunch menu, but I certainly don't discriminate. - spend my time outdoors doing everything and anything. - spend time with animals- I've done volunteering in this space before and if you have a pet I'll love it like my own! I'm looking to move to a place: - preferably mid Feb - for 6 months or more - with max 3 housemates - unfurnished bedroom - with carpark (on street parking is fine) - close to the city (walking distance preferably) I'd be looking for housemate(s) who are positive, enjoy wit, predominantly sociable, and enjoy what they do. Anything else you want to know? Feel free to message me!
I'm a 22 year old uni student, going into my final year of journalism and public relations. I'm a super friendly person and am always up for a chat but am super respectful of the other people I live with and also need my own privacy. I'm working casually at typo and also volunteer reading the news at 4ZZZ, hoping to get my own show this year! Because of this I'm looking to live anywhere between Kelvin Grove and Chermside(suburbs listed but anywhere else near the northern busway is fine) I'm a pretty social person but am not into going out all the time or having parties, though I do occasionally like to have friends over for pres or just a couple of drinks. Because I'm in my final year of uni I'm looking for somewhere to live for at least this year, and definitely need to live with people who will respect that I need my space and time for study as well. I'm a very clean person, always clean up after myself and often find myself doing other people's dishes just cause they're there. Usually will clean the entire house when I'm doing my own room. I'm experienced in sharehousing from small to large numbers, prefer to live with larger numbers but don't mind smaller places. I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to live with animals. I'm also interested in possibly doing a team up, potentially with my current housemate Julie.
Hii, my name is Ana, a Colombian girl, I'm looking for a place were I can feel comfortable, I'm really nice, outgoing, trustful and respectful!! I enjoy of diversity and of other cultures!! I'm studying at the moment and I also have a part-time job!!
NEED A FURNISHED ROOM. I'm a full time employee in a great role that gives me a lot of freedom. I can cook and do most nights, I'm very very tidy, organised and clean, and I keep to myself (but love a beverage or two with my housemates from time to time). I'm new to Queensland, I moved to the Gold Coast 3 months ago for this job, and have now been promoted, meaning I have to move up to the Bayside/Eastern areas of Brisbane!
I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor. I'm a Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job. I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!
My name is Josie. I am 27 years old and work full time...Monday to Friday. I like to get up early, go to gym and get to bed early in the evenings. On the weekends I like to go to the coast for a surf or spend time visiting friends/family. I have an 11 month old pug named Chubs who I will need to move with. I am not a huge party person and I don't drink very much at all. Looking for somewhere preferably with another female.
To introduce myself, I'm Jacob, a 22 y.o. college grad moving to Brisbane from the U.S. in early February. I will be working in the CBD Mon-Fri 9-5, commuting by public transport. I also work on publishing projects so tend to use evenings for additional work. That being said I am always open for a drink and meeting new people! I'm fine with all animals, even though I don't have any of my own. I enjoy cooking and am quiet, clean, and considerate. If you're still looking for a roommate and all of the above sounds agreeable to you, email/message me and maybe we can work something out. Just let me know and I can provide my facebook or other information to get a conversation going. Thanks!
Hi future housemates. I'm Tony. I'm easy going and easy to get along with, neat and tidy, respectful of other people's space and privacy.. looking for a positive place to live for me and my medium sized dog (bear age 7). My god is well trained, friendly, gets along well if other friendly dogs and can be an inside or outside dog... I'm currently employed but I'm not getting many hours at the moment. I'm on centerlink as well so paying rent isn't an issue, I'm also looking for a second job.. I like fishing, bush walks, chilling at the beach, going to festival's, gig's, Think of myself as a bit of a free spirit. Thanks for reading this, :) Hoping to hear from you soon...
I'm a super friendly/easy going/clean person who loves to travel and meet new people! Currently living in Indooroopilly with friends but am looking to move closer to my work in New Farm so I can save for my next travel adventure :)
I'm currently looking for a new apartment to lease until around 16th February as my current landlord has decided to sell up. I am 26, from the UK and on a working holiday visa which expires in February. Looking for somewhere within 30mins of the city (walking or by public transport). My maximum budget is $180 including bills. I currently work in the CBD for an insurance company Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5pm. I'm fairly chilled out during the week and on the weekends like to get out and explore the city and it's surroundings or meet up with friends.
Hey all! I'm a fun and happy young 23yo Girl that is looking for some great people to live with. As I do work full time I'm not home alot but when I am I don't mind either kicking back and watching some Netflix or having a beer with the house mates. I'm happy yo live with either Guys or Girls 😊
Moving from the Sunshine Coast back to Brisbane as I've started a 2/3yr Interior Design degree at Billy Blue College (Torrens University, Fortitude Valley). I quit my FIFO job in September of 2016 to pursue something I've been putting off for far to long. Chasing dollars instead of happiness. I worked for Clough and Downer on EPCM Projects in Quality Assurance. I'm pretty chill to live with, sometimes I make cookies and drink whisky. I've enjoyed living with people previously and have had one long term roommate (6yrs - we're best friends). I like to go to the gym and train hard, there was nothing else to do when I worked FIFO so I focused on fitness and personal improvement. I recently returned from a fitness holiday in Thailand where I trained at Tiger Muay Thai (if you haven't heard of it, give it a google - best thing i've done this year). You'll know if I've had a bad day because I'll start cleaning, so I guess that's a win for whoever I end up with. Ideally a spot in the Valley would be sweet, but am happy with anything within a close proximity. I'm still looking for work but it shouldn't take long to pin down a part-time gig. I have savings to get me through this transition phase. Keep it real Anna.
Im friendly, clean, considerate and reliable. I'm a health practitioner, so i try practice what i preach...haha. For fun I love all sorts of indoor and outdoor activities. Health, fitness and amazing food are certainly part of these things. Good wine with great conversation is medicine too :-) I'm moving from Bardon, been studying and working here in Brisbane for the past 4 years. Hoping to move to a great location, in a lovely house with likeminded person/ people. My gorgeous li'l black and white kitty will be moving with me too, she is shy but easy going. Spends most of her time in my bedroom chilling or looking out from a window or balcony surveying the area. If I sound like the right fit for you, please don't hesitate to call or text to arrange a catch up xo
Hey lovelies! I'm 21 years old Finnish girl and i have been in Australia about a year now. I'm really positive, open and outgoing. For me it's really important to have people around, i love talking and hearing about other's adventures. I consider myself as a tidy person, and i like to keep things in order. I try to do yoga and meditation regularly, but sometimes it's quite hard, i'm pretty easily distracted. Back in Finland i used to teach dance and i was an actress so i hope i'll get back to that soon, i think my best side shows when i can be on stage and dance or act. I love animals and back home i have heaps of pets. I would take a dog or a cat instantly if my life would be this unstable. Because i'm on my working holiday visa, i'm not sure can i stay here more than year, i hope i get sponsored so i could stay longer but you never know, life is full of mysteries.
I'm an easy going, friendly and respectful tenant. Work full time Monday to Friday as a Business Analyst. When I'm not working I'm usually rock climbing or doing something active. Im equally into socialising as I am reading a book, so happy to hang out but also understand down time and respect for space. I'm looking for a furnished room with a private bathroom/ensuite and a place to park my car. Only after a 6 month lease at the most. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Hi! I'm 20 years old, I work full time hours at the airport so i'm not always home, but in my down time I just like to relax at home or enjoy a good night out on the weekend. I'm really just looking for a place to live out my last few months (till early April) is Aus before I make my big move to Canada. I'm really clean, respectful of other peoples space and belongings, and reliable. Always up for a chat or a drink! Ready to move when ASAP :)
I'm a mid-30's management consultant, transitioning to my own venture/startup. I am a rather quiet than a party person. I socialise with friends mainly outdoors. I also try to keep healthy and cook my meals every day. Sharing with people along the years I have realised that I am very considerate, and I like a peaceful place at the end of the day. I don't mind having a chat at the end of the day, but I am mega respectful of the other's space/time :) And no cats: I am allergic
Hey future house mate/'s, I'm 28 and work full time in Emergency Services for the QLD Government. I'm currently transfering back to Brisbane in late January after spending 3 years in North Queensland. I am a very social guy, always happy for a chat, to lend an ear or just to chill and watch some TV. Having shared before I completely understand when people need there own space and the need for reliability and most importantly cleanliness. Unfortunately, due to the job I do work shift work, this doesn't mean I'm a zombie 24/7 and leave at odd hours (12 hour shifts usually 6am -6pm - vice versa), far from that, but does mean that I sleep until midday two days per week... pretty much like 70% of Uni students. If you think I would be a good fit in your house don't be shy message me!
Hello! I am Lacey:) I am clean and tidy and work full time but also don't mind going out and having wine & cheese nights. I would like to live with someone who is friendly as well! I am looking for a modern master room with en suite and aircon if you have something similar please do let me know.
Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 24 looking to make the move to Brisbane from SA. I'm into a healthy lifestyle, not much of a party head this days. Respectful, tidy and can keep to myself but also looking to make some friends! Sorry I'm allergic to cats.
Howdy, I'm Fraser, and I'm an Aussie studying Exercise/Sport Science full time at UQ. In my spare time I like to keep fit, mostly through running, cycling, and swimming. I work as a barista, so I'm up early in the morning, and am usually in bed pretty early at night. I study hard, I don't smoke, I only drink socially, and I'm neat and keep the communal areas clean!
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking (everyone says I'm pretty good at baking anything about matcha) at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment.
Hi I'm Kate, I work full time at RBWH, I am easy to get along with, social and considerate. I am wanting to share an apartment on the inner north side. Best case scenario I would love an ensuite, and undercover car park, but am flexible. I don't have any pets but if you have a dog that's a bonus! Lol If you want to know more give me a message!
Hi I'm Anna, I'm from Melbourne but in Brisbane until the end of March for work. Ideally looking for something i can move into ASAP and vacating around the 31st of March. I'm easy to get along with, not OCD but pretty tidy. Like to be social but also like to be a couch potato.
I am a male student returning for my second year of study at QUT (Bachelor of Science). I keep to myself, socializing on-campus or at home. All my hobbies are non-disruptive, and I spend a great deal of time socializing with high school friends over the internet. I appreciate my own area where I can carry out study, however I don't mind having conversation at all. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and will not be hosting house parties. I need a place which - - Is connected to the NBN, as I require the reliability and speed allowing me to work fast. - Comes pre-furnished with at least a bed and desk. - Is in close proximity to public transport, which would allow me to commute without a car.
Hi there, I just recently moved up from Sydney and have been living on the Gold coast, I am now looking to either move to Brisbane or closer in town on the gold coast. due to work. , looking for cool/ down to earth roommates, I work Monday – Friday within the Government, when I am not working you’ll find me at the gym as I am a PT, Health and Fitness is my passion. I am flexi with the moving date. I am a down to earth chilled guy ( from the country) always up for a laugh, I am a clean and tidy person, love a beer on weekends and going out from time to time. I would like the main room, however not too fussed if not. If you want to know more please just ask! Thanks, Damian mething
Hey guys! I'm a 22 year old male who's either working, rock climbing/exercising, cooking, sleeping, or relaxing! I work full time and sometimes have to work night shift due to the nature of my work. I am currently a supervisor of an engineering company which I started working at this year. I have lived in share houses since I was 16 so I am well aware of cleaning up after yourself, splitting the bills with whom ever lives with you, sharing the cleaning load and yard work (I love gardening), and respecting people's space. I come with everything for my own room, and would prefer to use all my own stuff when it comes to that space. I am very friendly and really enjoy making new friends, I love pets but don't come with my own. Would really love to hear from you and hopefully arrange a time to come check out your space/ look at a new space together! Soul

I'm a full time worker (teacher) in the city. I'm 30, I love exercise, I'm super healthy, very clean, organised, and quiet! I'm up at 5am most days to go to work, home around 3pm, exercise from 3-5pm, and dinner and bed by 8pm... because I'm a grandma in a young person's body. I'm normally out and about on weekends, but I love a good movie night and chat with my housemates. I'm very approachable and always encourage housemates to tell me if they're having problems. Because I am an old biddie, I'll never be the one to say, "Hey gang! It's Tuesday night!! How about a raging, drug-induced rave?!" I'm very tired at night time. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, or steal. I just want to live in a positive, happy house!

Brisbane born and raised full time worker In my early 20s and have lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm not new to the housemate game I work full time at Suncorp Insurance Tuesday - Saturday so you won't see much of me during the days but always keen to have some beer and banter at the end of one! I love cooking massive meals so if 'family' dinner nights are your thing that's fine by me. I can also tell when people need their space so don't feel like I'm going to be hanging around 24/7 Looking for a nice modern place with some relaxed people. Happy to pay extra for the best room in the house! Feel free to message me
