I need a place as soon as possible I been constantly looking for a place I get $810 a fortnight from Centrelink and I been saving up to move out I do have money to pay for bond and rent and all just giving you noticed I think that's why nobody giving me a chance they think I can't afford it. I have been going at it for 2 weeks straight giving up on Brisbane. I'm already paying $322 a week at a hostel so yeah haha I don't give up that easy. Hello, my name is Shannon I'm polite, friendly, reliable, and easy to get on with :] I’m currently living in Brisbane I’m originally from Newcastle NSW I am currently looking for accommodation a place to rent an apartment in the city or around the city and also looking around the gold coast near trains to go into Brisbane city. That is permanent accommodation so am looking forward to finding a place to stay as soon as possible, As it by myself, a 1 or 2 or 3 bedroom apartment would be suitable. Preferably a place near transportation services (buses, trains, etc). I can pay rent and bond straight up in advance, however, I have not rented before (apart from off of my own mother, as I paid fortnightly to stay in her home). I do not have any rent experience as I never rented before with real estates, property owners nor landlords etc. I move out of home to become independent, meet new friends, socialize also it will be a bonus if you are in the gym as I’m in need of a gym or no gym partner I'm fine with that haha. I need to work out since my goal is to lose weight (as I do have a belly) I currently seek benefits/Centrelink however once I moved into a place I'm willing to look for Part-time work or do something that I’m into. I have a consistent income and can contribute generously and reliably to rent. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Thanks, Shannon :D
I'm easy-going and considerate of others. I work from home as a journalist for an overseas news publication. I have a 9-year-old greyhound. We've lived alone for 2+ years in an apartment in the valley- so he's very accustomed to a small, indoor space. He truly sleeps almost 24/7.. except for when there's a storm and he's hiding in a corner somewhere. I recently changed jobs and am planning to move overseas next year. I can no longer justify paying $415 p.w. solely on rent - so have decided not to re-sign my lease. I'd love to find an affordable place with great flatmates for 6-12 months. I like meeting people from different cultures and learning languages. I also enjoy film and gastronomy. If you're looking for a kind, clean, quiet, independent flatmate that keeps to themselves and you don't mind a dog indoors - then I'm the flatmate for you.
I'm a first year arts/law student at UQ looking for a place to move into around July. I'm pretty quiet and respectful of personal space, but I'd love to find housemate/s who I can get along well with, and I'm always happy to talk, watch netflix and go out for coffee/ drinks :) definitely after a place that feels like a home. I'm away quite a bit due to work and uni, and I also spend a bit of time visiting my family (and animals :((( ) down near byron so I won't be in your hair too much. I work part time in the city, and i love riding my bike to work and uni and not having to rely upon brisbane public transport so proximity to both is a must. I love to cook, and a vegetarian/ vegan house would be a bonus but I'm happy to live with any friendly respectful people. I love nature and animals, so I'm happy to provide love to any pets you may have + water plants. hope to hear from you soon :)
Hello there. I, Paige am a responsible and reliable 22 year old female. I’m seeking a room to rent as soon as possible with my affordability being at a max of $140 per week - I do get paid fortnightly. I am Currently unemployed but on the hunt for work. I will not be at the house 24/7 as I am a pretty busy girl and will be out and about most days of the week. I am a well-mannered and mature young lady, with a very clean, energetic and organised personality, never to leave a mess laying around, mine or not. Am a very fun and bubbly person but also am very Respectful of other people’s privacy, rules and wishes. Have rented two properties of my own in the last 4 years but having no luck at the moment. I’ve never defaulted with paying rent as that was and always my first priority. I am not a let down, and I’ll be a good house mate. 😊✌🏽
I am not one to need company constantly, and I respect other’s personal space and time. Being a student My focus is study then spending time outdoors - and am always up to try something different vs the usual walk or bike along the river. Love animals, and am by no means antisocial- I will jump at the chance to meet new people.
I am super friendly and always clean up my mess and would like to live with someone who does the same. I love a good drink and socialising on the weekends and love getting out of the house, but also respect and value alone time, I'm into photography, music and keeping fit and study full time so quite busy most of the time. message me if you're interested :)
Hi there, I'm looking for a room for the next four months, preferably in the West End area but as long as it's close to the city should be fine. I'm from Spain and I have been in Brisbane since March studying International Trade
Hi, I'm Courtney and I am moving from Cairns to Brisbane for 6 months to work at "Head Office". I am a public servant and will spend most of the week at work or at the gym. I am an ealier riser and tend to go to bed early. I am very clean and easy going person to live with. I love animals but cannot have my own due to work, so if there are any fury family members I am happy to play with them and look after them if ever needed. I would require somewhere to park my car. A furnished room would be great, but not a necessity. I like to socialise and have my twin sister living in the Gold Coast so I will spend lots of time down there as well. I am looking forward to getting to know Brisbane and getting along to gigs and seeing bands.
Keen for a flat mate who is rarely home and prompt on rent? Single 30 profesional male who plays well with others. 4/5 star rating (personally rated) Talent agent and card dealer on the weekends at the casino. Single and share friendly. Seeking non psycho flat mate. Last part negotiable.
My name is Chloe and I am writing on behalf of my friend that is moving to Brisbane in the middle of June. Hey my name is Tiana and I'm 21 years old. Right now I am in nz but I'm wanting to move to Brisbane on the 10th June. I work in the hospitality industry and I'm very outgoing, I don't mind having a few drinks and being social or Relaxing and watching Netflix. I'm very neat and organised and I'm very into movies!!
I’m a young and smiley gal, working around 30hr weeks at the international airport. Not a huge party goer but I do enjoy some chilled out hangouts with good company. Very neat and tidy, like a bit of routine in life and enjoy coming home to a relaxed household. Also a solid 7/10 cook so if you want to share the kitchen I’m happy to serve up some very tasty mash and gravy 😋 (that’s my fav) I also like jogging and yoga (still learning haha)
I (Richard, English), am currently on my first work and travel visa with my girlfriend (Szandra, Hungarian). We love the outdoors and the ocean, travel and adventure and that's the main reason we have come to Australia but we're looking for a place in Brisbane to call home for a while. we've lived with people before and (I hope) have crack the perfect balance of privacy and friendliness. we like to be friends with the people were living with but understand that everyone needs their own space too. clean, (Szandra cannot even look at a speck of dust without cleaning it) organised, quiet and always up for a chat, or to head out for some fun (be that the same sushi place 4 times in a row or an unexplored canyon in the wilderness). We love to cook, and if you do too we love to learn to cook other things. Personally I am a huge Rugby fan (Union over league but i think that might change soon) and love to watch and play. Szandra is a massive foodie and animal lover. Thank you for reading all that about us and, I'll thank you in advance for an opportunity to be flatmates.
Hi there, I am a 28 year old full time Human Resources Advisor. I am rather social so rarely at home during the day or over the weekend in saying that I do keep to myself a bit when at home but also happy to have dinner or a drink and socialise with house mates. I love cafe hopping, movies and cooking. I have had pretty bad experiences with share houses, either to OCD or way to messy. I am a clean person and clean up after myself. I have a king bed so required a decent size room to fit my furniture.
Hi! I am a 20 year old female coming to Brisbane from Canada. I will be studying at UQ. I am very independent and relaxed though love meeting new people and having a good time. I love the beach and am such a foodie! On my spare time, you can find me hiking or practicing yoga. It is super important for me to be friends with my flatmates so if you're chill, fun and love exploring msg me!
I am both a full time worker ( both chef & content marketer) and full time student - you will hardly see me! I spend most of my time at the library or at a rented office in the city. When I am around, i like to watch movies, cook dinner and share a glass of wine with my flatmates if they want to hang out. I'm into hiking and camping and occasionally make a weekend trip away. I'm kind of a quiet person (probably due to the study) and like a quite environment (not a party house) I respect your space and belongings and appreciate the same in return. I'm tidy, non smoker and no pets.
G'day flatmate, I'm Lena, a 20 year old Biotechnology student from Berlin. In order to finish my degree at the Technical University of Berlin I will be staying in Brisbane for at least 6 months in the means of my internship at the UQ. I am curently searching for acommodation from around July 28th till the end of January 2019 near the UQ. I am a great flatmate who cleans up after herself and pays bills on time. Living in a shared flat in Berlin I know what it takes to keep up a harmonic and cheerful atmosphere, yet giving each flatmate his or her personal space. I love spending time with friends, cooking, hiking, reading and the challenge of trying new things and making new experiences. I'm sure it will be a great time living together! :)
I'm Bree, I'm 24 years old, originally from Victoria but I'm moving to Brisbane to study a Master of Conservation Biology at UQ. I'm a bubbly, easy going and clean person who enjoys a glass of wine and hanging out with my housemates after uni finishes for the day. Interested in meeting and living with like-minded people from any gender and background.
I recently graduated from university and am currently a casual worker looking for full time work. I'm extremely easy going, love to chat and socialise but like my down time as well. I love art and culture, I dabble in photography as a hobby.
