We are a friendly couple from a small town in North Queensland! We are looking to relocate to the big smoke early September in order to discover the ways of city living. I work in hospitality and Jack is an electrician and we hope to secure jobs before the move HOWEVER if we are not yet employed there is financial backing for this exact moment in our lives that has been in the making for quite some time. We are determined to begin the next step in our lives and would be very grateful if someone would give us a chance. My name is Becky (23) and I love meeting new people and making friends, My day to day routine includes working, reading, watching tv, cooking, listening to music, petting animals and on the weekends I like to go on adventures! I love trying new food, watching movies and just exploring the city. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and my favourite band is still Fall Out Boy but don't hold that against me. I am extremely easy to get along with and I am very respectful of others :) Jack (25) is easy to get along with and can cook up a storm, so we wouldn't mind sharing meals occasionally.. :) He is absolutely hilarious and will tag you in the dankest memes. He does a bit of reading and a lot of binge watching tv shows. He likes to have a few drinks here and there mainly on weekends but is completely respectful of others. Together we are just looking to find a place to live and make some awesome friends!
Hi, hallo, hey. I am Emma, 26, working full-time in arts and tourism. I'm a practicing visual artist/graphic designer and enjoy a creative outlet of any kind: travelling, reading, gardening, sketching and painting are top of mind at the moment. I love cooking up a big meal for good people and having a chat over a glass of wine. When I'm not at work I usually keep busy with freelancing and various other activities. I've enjoyed the past 7 years living in share accommodation with all sorts of great humans. Creating a safe, peaceful and happy home is super important to me - your home is my home and vice versa. I'm very considerate of personal space and will always do my part to keep things clean, tidy and homely.
Hi I'm Ashleigh, I'm looking too move to Brisbane to be closer to work opportunities & family. I currently reside at the gold coast. I am unemployed at the moment but eager to get back into working as soon as I settle into stable accommodation in the Brisbane area. In saying that i also study online, im currently completing my 1st year doing my bachelor of social sciences. I'm easy going, get along with everyone. I'm a friendly single, 25 year old female keep to myself normally, very clean, drug free. Would like to find room that also has own bathroom but share is okay. Internet is a necessity. Great rental history. Refrences can be provided. Able to pay bond & 2 weeks in advance if required. Mainly Looking only for a female flat mate but a couple is fine.
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Wavell Heights, Bridgeman Downs etc - somewhere near The Royal Bris hospital as thats where i work) or even on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc - as thats where i am atm). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol He's a good kid, looks after things, helps around the house, is pretty easy going and quiet to live with :) We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol :) so cute! So, I'm looking for another person to get a house together. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that as well to live there :) You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. I'd really prefer a house rather than a unit with undercover parking (lock up garage) as I drive a BMW :) I guess starting off with a 6 month lease would be ideal, then it can always be renewed if we want :) The house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and dont want to crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Quiet, clean, active and easy going. I work in IT, am an audio engineer and musician. Lover of American classic cars and vintage motor cycles. Owner of a fighting fish and chihuahua who does not bark and is house trained. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and sport. Can tell you all about the Ghost In the Shell universe and what chilli is best used in 😊 I would like to live alone but open to like minded people.
I'm an independent guy who loves having a high quality chat and connecting with people, I also very much value my own space and time. Non-smoker and basically a non-drinker although I do indulge on the rare occasion just for the taste of a good beer. My career path at the moment is in strength coaching/training. I currently train clients at a private gym in Milton. Most of my time is dedicated to training as a competitive powerlifter and I have also begun my journey into MMA with the intention of competing in the cage. I'm looking too move in with young or older professionals following their own career path, with life and business experience from all walks of life. An environment of people that are looking to grow in personal and business life would be ideal.
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. I also come with a 4 year old border collie, Jack. He is super relaxed and quiet but loves a good old pat. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
Easy going professional, very clean, considerate and busy with work, exercise and life in general so keep to myself but always up for a laugh or a beer. Generally up early, go to bed early so would prefer somewhere relatively quiet (within reason) or share with similar people. Considering whether to renew my current lease or move into another place but would like to decide asap. Could be somewhat flexible with move dates and would prefer off street parking and own bathroom. Feel free to message me with any questions. Cheers.
I am a polite and friendly housemate, preferring to busy myself in my room writing or drawing, but will happily socialize if the other parties wish to hang out. I do not study, and searching for a job as of 12th Jul, as I am saving my money for my Europe working visa. Living with me, is my two year old cat, Jenga so places MUST be pet friendly or pet approved.
Hi folks I'm Sam. I'm an easygoing, friendly guy looking for a housemate/teamup in the northern burns. I have a dog so I'd like to find a place which is pet friendly (he's a lab x golden retriever with a soft spot for peanut butter and anyone willing to give him a pat). Ideally I'd like to find a 2/3 bed property with a garden so if this sounds like your kind of thing, let me know. I'm a recently single gay guy with a range of interests; I like to run, cook, surf, cycle, and get amongst the occasional Netflix binge. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space - I like to chat but I also enjoy my own free time. Check out my socials if you want to know more or otherwise flick me a message!
I'm a friendly, occaisionally funny sports coach/cleaner (normally not at the same time) from NZ looking for a new house to live after my current lease runs out. My interests include cleaning the house when I get bored and cooking things that don't include lots of cleaning up. I largely work afternoons, evenings and weekends.
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hi there, We are both Germans and here for work. We have been living and working in New Zealand for the last 2 years. I'm a prof. hairdresser and My partner is a graduated Product Design Engineer. We are easy going , tidy people and down to earth, always happy to socialize but respect others and give them their own space! Feel free to ask questions! Cheers Jasmina
Hey I'm Sam, I just graduated from UQ and will be starting a full time accounting job in the city in October. I am Australian although I have a wee accent, friendly personality (self-proclaimed) and am independent. I love sport, stay active by going to the gym but do enjoy to chill and watch tv with others.
Hi, Professional female just returned from a long holiday looking for a place to call home. Clean and tidy and love to have a good chat but also love to have my own space. I'm a total foodie and love adventuring on the weekends to the coast or exploring Brisbane. Also a bit of a gym junkie :) Would prefer to have my own bathroom but not essential. I don't have any furniture apart from my bed. In saying that the Room must be able to fit a queen sized bed. I do love to travel and would love to go on another long holiday at the end of the year which is why I have put 4 months lease but things are always changing and could be here for longer.
I'm studying psych and justice full time at QUT and working casually so I'm rarely home during the day (unless I'm feeling lazy) but I'm always keen to get out for gigs and drinks. I've been flatsharing for a few years now so I'm good on the lowdown for keeping things clean and lighthearted, I'm also really laid back so not much stresses me out. I'm basically always down for festivities and family dinners, but chill nights to get work done are good too (bonus points for Game of Thrones ep nights). My current roomie is moving away at the end of August so I'm looking for a new crew to get around with and have some fun times! Send me a message if this matches what you're looking for or if you have a room available around that time, thanks!
Young professional, friendly and easy going. Passionate cook, enjoys spending time outdoors and going to music shows. Avid motorcyclist. Respectful of personal space and privacy, also enjoy a chat and drink with house crew. :)
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 36 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after spending some time in Sydney and Melbs. I'm originally from Sydney. I have just scored a full time role with Cash Converters in Taringa at the head office. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 36, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. I don't like gay guys that have a crabby/cunty attitude for absolutely no reason either ( trust me, its common in Oz ) lol.
I'm from Chile, came here to learn English. I'm studying in ICTE-UQ. I have a part time job as dish washer in a restaurant I am a cheerful and easy going guy. I like series, sports, going to the gym, parties, etc. I am responsible, hygienic and very tidy. I've lived in Brisbane for one anf a half months. So I prefer live with only English speakers...
Working Nurse and Student Paramedic with tiny loving dog called Bandit. When I'm not at Work, Uni or hanging with friends or family I like to chill and read or go to the gym. I don't mind a drink or two but not a typical every weekend party going 20 year old. I am just looking around as I get closer to the end of my current lease and my flatmate is moving to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going and am very respectful of others privacy and happy to hang out too.
