Recently moved from Perth, 25yo engineer looking for a place close to Mascot. I'd consider myself to be pretty laid back, loves a laugh and some good banter. Always keen for a kick of a footy or shooting some hoops. Cheers!
I'm an immigration lawyer from Brisbane who is working full-time in Sydney CBD. I come with my indoor kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits), microchipped, vaccinated, regularly dewormed. Even my dog-lover friends adore Mimo as she is very much like a dog - she greets people at the door and sniffs them when they come home, and sits outside showers to wait for people to be done. She's also incredibly gentle, although she does have moments when she decides your foot is worth attacking and she'll hug onto it - only if you're a good friend. She has her own cat tree to scratch and a gazillion toys to play with when she's bored, but she likes human cuddles a lot too. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. I am a light sleeper, so I definitely prefer a place that is quiet and housemates who work full-time like I do. My move-in date will have to fall on or in the week before 1 January 2017. I am on the lookout for a five-month lease. I will be happy to extend beyond the five months so long as the house is great as Mimo (my cat) does not enjoy moving. I do not drive and am quite lazy with walking so I would like to find a place that is within 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Cheers
I'm easy going, clean, considerate and 10/10 will serenade you if you ask (guitar/vocals/songwriter). I've moved to Sydney from Melbourne to be closer to my girlfriend and to start my career in the entertainment industry. Currently working full-time at a music booking agency, so if you're a music lover you'll find yourself at many free gigs with me! Looking forward to meeting some wonderful humans (pets are also highly encouraged) :)
I'm originally from Indonesia and I am looking for long term place to stay. Own Bedroom and Bathroom, not crowded place. I have been living in Sydney for almost 3 years - currently working 9-5 job in retail fashion industry and. I'm pretty busy with work, going to the gym, and out on the weekends but enjoy chill night in for a glass of wine or two. I respect privacy, clean, and tidy.
Hi I'm a 24 year old professional moving to Sydney for work. I'm looking for short term accomodation (3-6 months), preferably in the inner west, for me and my doggo. About me - wine and cheese lover, cooking & barbecue fanatic, enjoys solid banter, relaxed as. About pup - Boots, girl, 5 year old mastiff x heeler (small labrador size), couch potato and cuddle monster. Fine with dogs & cats.
We are a couple from Scotland who have just finished studying at university and are now travelling Australia on working holiday visas. We are looking for somewhere to stay for 3-6 months whilst we work in the centre of Sydney, so easy access to the city is preferred. Chris is currently working at Madame Tussaud’s as a photographer and Erin is arriving in Sydney on the 24th of January to look for work. We are both fun, tidy and easy to get along with and have several years of experience of sharing a flat with others. We are looking for somewhere that can offer a private room for us to stay in so that we don’t have to stay in hostels much longer. We welcome any offers!
Hello! I'm Dave, 26 y.o., and have lived in Sydney my whole life, minus a couple of brief stints in the UK and Canada. I work full time in the music industry and am looking to move somewhere closer to work and with a bit more buzz. I love the outdoors, playing/listening to music, and Tom Hanks. My choice for the 2017 Bird of the Year was the Galah. I'm a pretty quiet guy, super friendly, and easy going. Hoping to move in with people who are keen to chat, have a drink and hang out, but i'm also respectful of people's space, and I like to have my own sometimes. HMU if you reckon I might just sound like your next flat mate :)
Hi Guys! I’m a clean, friendly, busy professional who is looking for a place to live long-term as I have a full-time contract as a Neurology Registrar at RPA Hospital for at least 12 months from 27th December of this year. My hobbies include: Exercise, Neuroloimmunology research, Music, Stan and the occasional Rye whiskey =) I (ideally) would like: To be able to walk to work (Camperdown), Wi-fi, Ensuite (but definitely my own bathroom), Furnished place or with space for my queen size bed, 1-2 bedrooms in the whole place, mosquito screens and no cats or big dogs (allergies, sorry). Thanks very much for considering, Benny =)
I'm Matt (26) -- House-trained human • Full-Time Producer (major events) • Arts + Entertainment nerd • Lover of outdoor adventures, storytelling, music, ideas, contemporary culture, good company + gin • Completing a part-time postgrad law degree by the dark of night • Also working with a legal tech start-up • I'm looking for a social yet respectful share house. I like entertaining and living in a clean and neat place. I'm live a full, fun, rewarding yet busy life so often racing here and there and everywhere. With work and study and side projects, I appreciate my own space to a certain degree. Love to unwind with housemates and friends over dinner / drinks / some other fun and creative adventures when I can, mainly over the weekend. I love living with people and have met amazing friends over the years. I'm usually one of the people wearing the business manager's hat within the household so am great at paying things on time, organising stuff etc. The last two share houses I've lived in have operated a House Kitty, a shared house account we contributed money each week to cover bills and shared consumables - totally love and recommend this idea! What interests me: comedy, politics, theatre, film, art, music, tennis, exploring the great outdoors, beer, wine, gin, coffee, brunch, hip hop, crime dramas, French film, Australian stories, queer cinema, box jumps and making lists. Oh, I come with my own bedroom and study set up, comfy coal grey couch, Apple TV, heaps of books, slightly uncomfortable if sitting for a long period but highly stylish Replica Harry Bertoia chairs + glass table that I'm not overly attached to, TV, DVD player, a copy of Muriel's Wedding on DVD, and a few pieces of art. If you're interested and think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you.
Hey there, I'm pretty easy-going, focused and well-balanced! I'm always up for a chat but also love my alone time, a bit of humour is essential for a great life! I'm not a clean freak but am definitely not a messy person - am tidy and clean. I am more an outdoor person than a couch potato. I have just graduated from uni and am starting my full-time job in the Health department in February. The minimum I would stay is 4 months and would probably extend to 1yr+ if possible. I'm open to answering any questions!
I am looking for a room with private bathroom if possible in Melbourne for the Christmas period. Could also be for few days only to travel around perth/cairns/Brisbane. I am between jobs and I would like to start with a short term of 4 weeks before decinding for a longer term. I speak english, french, spanish. I am relaxed and not looking for a party house, non smoking place prefered.
Currently living and working in Melbourne and moving to sydney the week between Christmas and New Year! I'll be working in Bankstown and Liverpool so looking for inner west suburbs or along the southern beaches! I'm a bit of a clean freak, (but don't want to be cleaning up after others in all my spare time!) and have lived with shift workers so know how to keep quiet too! Im into my health and fitness so usually not sitting on the couch and spend as much time as i can at the beach or being outdoors! I do work long days so don't mind relaxing at home but also enjoy being social with my roomies! Love to travel and have done trips with previous roomies and usually do about 2/3 overseas trips a year either to the snow or beach destinations! Not a big party animal but can cook a mean roast! Get in contact if you are looking for a roomie or to start a new place together! :) Also have an outdoor lounge (Small L Shape) plus a snowboard and 2 boxes I will need to fit in or in storage! Thanks
Chilled & casual finance professional. I come bundled with a cat called Oliver. Ollie is also chilled & casual. I'm happy keeping him confined to my room (assuming the room is big enough & I have an en suite) I’m cool with most things, but I sleep from 11-7, and would need my potential room mate to respect that. And they will also need to be clean. I'm not a clean freak by any means, but my last room mate proudly states that she's never picked up a vacuum cleaner, or mopped before, and I never want to live with a person like that again. Oh, the best part about me is that I come with a Dyson! :) Looking to share with 2 people (max), although ideally 1. Happy to get my own one bedder/studio, also. Apartment must be new and modern with air conditioning and within a 5 min walk to the train station. Oh, and I need my own bathroom :) Not fussed on the location, but I'd like to be able to catch public transport (again, ideally train) to the city very easily. Aaaand I will need a car spot if all day street parking isn't feasible. My work requires me to be quite sociable, so a lot of the time I'm quite drained. Happy to watch a movie together or share a glass of wine, but I also thoroughly enjoy my private space. I do smoke, but I will be quitting the new year, so that won't be an issue any longer :) I apologise for the huge essay, but I don't want to waste anyone's time, so that's me summarised in a nice 5 minute read :) No raging parties, cheers.
2 Irish and one English girl all very down to earth clean and tidy looking for a new place to live with good routes to the city for work. We want a place of our own prefably with our own bedrooms we need to be moved out of our current accommodation by the 2nd February however, are open to moving before had.
Relocating to Sydney from Melbourne, as I'll be doing my Masters of Physiotherapy in Sydney for the next 2 years. We both work in fitness (yoga & Pilates instructors) so we tend to work slightly odd hours - mornings, evenings and sometimes weekends, but frequently home during the day. We are neat & tidy, and while we are open to socializing and having friends over we are not looking for frequent parties. We are looking to team-up on a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, we come with some furniture but have lived in smaller places over the past 4 years in Melbourne so we don't have a lot of stuff! Our lease ends in Melbourne mid-January so we are looking to move some time around then. Please get in touch if it seems like we may be a good fit for you!
