Hi there! We’re two girls looking for a place to stay from 12th Dec till early - mid February. We’re super tidy and clean. Respectful of privacy. We like to socialise too. We will be working over this period in order to save up for more travelling! Therefore there may be a chance of extension if this works for everyone. Please etc in touch if you have any rooms that are in the same house, a double or twin beds in a room we’re happy to share. Budget of $150 EACH. With ink half hour transport of Sydney. Thankyou!
Hello! I'm a solo traveler from the US looking to join a shared house here in Sydney. I've lived in shared houses for the last 4 years (and hostel dorms for the last 4 months) so I'm used to contributing to a sense of community as well as looking after my portion of the chores. As a housemate you can rely on me to always pay on-time and in-full, respect others' space/time/belongings, and clean up after myself. I'm a recent university graduate and have been traveling for 4 months. I'm rather introverted and low-key; I enjoy a home where I can unwind. That being said, I love connecting with new people and finding new places. I'm still looking for a great job and once I'm a bit more settled here I look forward to weekend trips and exploring the city. Seeing as I only have my luggage with me, ideally I'd find a furnished room/house. Feel free to reach out if you think I'd blend well with your house. I will gladly set up a time to view the place and meet the housemates!
Hey, I'm Matt. I work in TV as an editor. I love getting to the beach, going to gigs, meeting up with mates for a few drinks in the park or one of the many fine establishments the inner west has to offer, the occasional art/cultural events, and the odd festival if life permits, and of course Netflix and music :) I also like to chill at home and escape the outside world. I love a good chat about anything and nothing. I'm pretty laid back and independent. I like to get to know the people I live with and I do love the occasional cook up and cheeky glass of something something with the housemates. I'm tidy and respectful of other housemates and shared spaces. I'm fairly socially active, but do my partying outside of the home, I like home to a sanctuary from the outside world - but I'm not adverse to the occasional impromptu gatherings or house parties if we are feeling it! I'm looking for a friendly fun home to share with other cool humans! I'm technically 36 years old, but I don't think I've ever mentally moved on from 29... ;) My move in dates can be very flexible, anytime in November or December. I'm looking for long term accommodation preferably at least 6 months, though I'd rather 1 year plus.
I've just finished first year at Sydney uni, started out doing an arts/science double degree, hoping to make a wild transfer to music next year. I play the clarinet (but am able to practise elsewhere if preferred). I enjoy cooking, reliable housework completer-er. I love big chats about almost anything but also have no trouble being self-contained. Over the holidays I'm hoping to get a part-time job, work on music stuff, go on some caving trips and maybe do a bit of travel. My other passions include second hand clothes, energetic dancing, flatbread and beer.
My names Reece, I'm 24. I work fulltime. I am very clean. Always tidy up after myself, very mature also. I'm very interested in looking at thespare room you have available. I don't smoke, I drink on a rare occasion and I don't do drugs at all. Feel free to message or call me if you would like to know more or ask any questions. Thanks!
My name is Carlos and I have been living in Australia for the last one year and a half. I am interested in doing outdoor activities such as, hockey, basketball and running. I work as an architect for a multinational company and this explains why I am organize, tidy and always looking for the smallest detail. I looking forward to finish my master degree in November so I can start doing Wing Chun and watch a movie. I love spicy food and I try to cook mexican food regularly.
I'm a music lover who works in the hospitality industry. Since I meet a lot of people in my work I can say I'm easy to approach and create friends easily. That being said, I also respect the privacy part in home but I'm more than happy to share thoughts and sit in evenings with roommates. I try to keep in shape by going to the gym and recently have learnt a bit more about cooking. I'm from Finland and I arrived Sydney mid October with a working holiday visa. Hit me up for a chat! Cheers!
I'm 29 and I've been living in Sydney for almost 2 years, during that time I've lived in the same place in the Hills in a house share. I'm looking for a place with 1 or 2 other housemates with an available parking space as I have a car. I'm employed full time (I work a 8-5 job), I like going to the gym on weeknights and being out and about on weekends (so I'm rarely home). I enjoy martial arts, surfing, reading, music, dining out and going for drinks.
Hi there, I'm Alexis from France (Paris). I have been in Australia for 5 months as an Au Pair (in Canberra). Now, I am going to start my internship in a Start-up (business development) in Sydney so I am looking for a flat share in Sydney. I have lots of interests and it's great to share stories/knowledge with the people I live with. Of course I'm always happy to help around the house, share a meal, and have a night in or out. I am very organised and appreciate a clean living environment. I am mostly quiet and like to keep stuff clean and tidy. I am mainly looking for somewhere to rent for a period of no longer than 2 months. What I'm looking for : - Private room or twin room - Near to the Central Station OR Macquarie University With regards, Alexis TRINCHETE
Hi, I'm Josh, a 24 year old graphic designer, working full-time at an agency in Sydney CBD. I am quite a tidy person and consider myself to be very open-minded and relaxed. Love to have drinks but I am not dependent on this, I have some friends of my own. Respectful of others space of course. Willing to move in pretty much ASAP.
I am Judy from Taiwan who is easy to get along with and tidy. I just graduated from UQ this July. After considering the immigration option, I have to study a diploma of interpreting until 1st of July. I plan to fly to Sydney around 7th of December. I will need to find a long-term accommodation for at least half year around 6th of January.
DECEMBER OR JANUARY Hi I'm Anita. I am currently in Paddington, Brisbane. I have been offered a full time position with a well known construction company in Sydney, hence the move. I will need to move to Sydney at the start of next year preferably before the 3rd of January. About me At home I'm neat and tidy but I'm not affected by other peoples preferences. I like to cook as much as I can and try to get to yoga a few times a week. When I get home from work I like to relax, listen to some music, watch some Netflix, go for a walk or skateboard, occasionally I'll have a beer. On the weekends I like to be out and about, get social.. but sometimes I get the home bug. My sister would be an expected visitor for the weekend every now and then as she lives in Canberra and I would be her closest family. We're very friendly and I have no doubt you'll like her. I'm also hoping my best friend from the Gold Coast will visit when she can too. I like the lifestyle I have here in Paddington so I'm hoping to land in a similar area in Sydney. I like being able to walk to a cafe or walk to pilates. Housemates: I am hoping to have friends at home, like minded people who are chill and easy going. I would prefer more mature housemates as the party house vibe isn't for me. I would like people who are employed and financially stable. I'm a very accepting person and like meeting different people. Flick me a message if you have an offer. Thanks Anita
Originally I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and I will be moving to Sydney for four year to the dentistry program at the University of Sydney. Looking to move in around the beginning to mid-January. I am a very easy going person who likes to make people laugh, tech savvy, and likes to keep clean. I will be brand new to the Australian life style, so it would be nice to meet and stay with like-minded students or individuals.
We are both friendly and love cheese, wine and socialising. I am in Digital Marketing and Craig is a Mechanical Engineer. We chill through the week after work and like to go out and explore Sydney on the weekend. We are both active and love yoga, being at the beach and hiking.
Hello I'm Clara - I've just spent 12 months living and working in NZ and am looking to make Sydney my home for at least the next year. I'm originally from Paris, France and like every good française I love to cook, bake and eat! I love sharing my culture with others, especially through food and celebration. I'm a very social person who enjoys getting to know others, making new friends and getting the most out of my time abroad by travelling and experiencing new things. I love to look after my home environment, and take care of where I live. I love sport and avidly play and coach rugby and look forward to getting involved in some sporting activities in Sydney. If you are kind and considerate flatmates who enjoy good food and good conversation please get in touch.
