Hi there, Virtual reality developer/ 3d artists and all round good guy who is moving back to Melbourne after living in Coffs Harbour for 5 years. And will be attending RMIT this year. So while I'm up here in Coffs Harbour I'm looking for a room. I'm very sociable, open minded and laid back individual and always enjoy a chat over a good coffee. I would consider myself as a house trained male (thanks to my mother) who pays the rent on time, tidies up after himself and respects other people's space and property. I can also cook a good tuna pasta. My main interests are virtual and augmented reality, jazz, Burlesque, horror and sci fiction films. Look forward to hearing from you.
I’m a NSW-born, Tassie-bred, and Melbourne-based arts administrator: really just another twentysomething looking for sweet digs north of the city! At the moment, I’m looking for a place I can really set up in and contribute to long-term. I come from a background in film & TV, but mostly work in production/operations across a slate of different festivals and arts orgs. My work often keeps me out of the house, (and sometimes interstate,) but I’m still super keen on making sure shared living spaces feel welcoming, relaxed and tidy. I’m sadly not a wine-lover myself, but so long as you wouldn’t mind a rum-drinker in your midst at any Friday wine-nights, then I might be your gal! I’ll be in Adelaide for work from mid-Feb to late March, but would of course be more than happy to sign onto the lease and pay rent etc. throughout that period if I would be able to move into the room before I ship out.
Mature, professional, considerate and well travelled. I value and respect others time and space as much as I do my own, yet also enjoy a communal meal, chat, cuppa, drink, movie or outing on occasion. I'm a firefighter at Tullamarine airport and work shifts on a 4 on/4 off basis. I enjoy healthy eating and lifestyle habits with interests in both the arts and sports/outdoor pursuits.
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student at ACU (Currently studying Speech Pathology). I've recently moved out of a full time care position (living in the persons house)... So am looking for something pretty soon. I’m looking for something long-term and a safe place that feels like home. I’m neat, clean, friendly, easy-going. I enjoy BBQs, gig’s, shared TV show watching, films and music. I'm introverted, but like socialising. I can be a little quiet when I'm stressed. I like plants and the outdoors. I'm very much into respecting others and their space/peaceful living. I have a cat called Froot. He’s a Bengal, which means he’s non-allergenic. He lives indoors because he's a bit of a chicken :P I'm a relatively busy person. Definitely, not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm organised, with a steady income + rent assistance. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation. I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with my bedroom furnishings, a couch, coffee machine, desk, bookcase, outdoor table that could be dining table, an extensive DVD collection, TV, sound system, plants and am grabbing more house stuff soon. So send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something Would be great to hear from you! Anything else you'd like to know feel free to ask 🙂
Hi there, my name's Gill (pron. Jill) and I'm a second year physics student at Melbourne. Im looking to escape the outer suburbs with 2-3 like minded people, preferably women similar to my age. I'm vegetarian and play bass in a local band. I'm friendly, easy going and love cooking!
I am just starting off my career in engineering and have to live away from my fiancé for a while. I spend my free time playing games, anything D.I.Y and of course going out for a drink or two with some friends. I love barbeques and anything chilli. I also love watching movies and a range of series. I am neat and tidy and I like putting things back in their place. I am usually up for a talk while also being respectful of everyone's space. I like meeting new people and finding out about things that I have no idea about. Apparently i also like writing in short sentences =]. I am patient, have a good sense of humor and quite open minded. If anything I've said sparks an interest, let me know =]. P.s. - Must have space for pet/pets.
Hi! I'm from Adelaide. I'm moving to Melbourne in 2018 to start a Masters degree in speech pathology at the University of Melbourne. I'm also planning to do some part-time work. I'm hoping to find a friendly, warm sharehouse near the university with housemates that value their privacy but are interested in getting to know each other and hanging out. My passions in life are sleeping, reading, patting dogs, street art, and Maccas runs. I studied linguistics in my undergrad degree and am really interested in languages. I really enjoy travelling and have been lucky enough to study in and visit different places in the South Pacific, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. During my travels I've stayed with a bunch of different (sometimes weird) people in a bunch of different (sometimes weird) places, so I'd like to think I'm pretty easygoing and able to get on with people. :)
Hi my name is Damien, I'm 38 and originally from Tassie. I work as an early child hood educator and after school carer, but I'm looking to get into teachers aide work whilst I work on a few passions like writing pun jokes. I'm into the AFL and sports in general , I am looking forward to watching the bombers play. Anything else you would like to know feel free to ask.
Hey, my names Rachel! Im a full time student at Victoria university and i study paramedicine. I spend most of my time at university or tucked away somewhere quietly studying. Im friendly and easy to live with, very clean and i like a house in order. My favourite hobby is travelling but when grounded in melbourne over the semester i enjoy cooking and exploring new places, after a long week i find it nicest to sit and read or binge a little bit of netflix. I have lived out of home for the past year at a place where rent was due the previous month, i was always early with my payment and my rent will always be on time with you too. If a bubbly, friendly and tidy student sounds like a good addition to your house, I'm the one! Unfortunately as i commute to uni i will need a space to park my much beloved swift. Im very easy going and love pets! I myself don't like smoking so if any of your tenants are smokers please inform me. Feel free to ask me any other questions you have! ~Rachel-Emily.
Clean, tidy, slightly amusing. I am not interested in sharing a bedroom or a house with more than 1-2 people, thanks.
I'm Lydia, 30, and work at Toyota, though my experience before this is in humanitarian aid sector. I'm pretty easy going, like to share a meal with housemates occasionally, a glass of wine or beer and a good chat are always good, but I understand that home is a sanctuary and space/alone time is important. I love reading, enjoy a good meal, pubs, playing ultimatum games and a good laugh. I think it's important to make the effort to make a share house a home, not just a house. I like to keep communal spaces clean, and cooking for housies. I'm very easy going and flexible. I think it's important to respect others' space and time.
Relaxed, enjoy fitness and cooking, love AFL, keep a tidy house. Value a balance between personal and social time. Will be working from home 2 days a week, and in the office 3 days a week (Ballarat). Would ideally like to live with people who are easygoing, like a joke, having a few drinks, exploring, and random Kmart outings. Looking to move anytime from late Feb-early March, and hoping to find somewhere from 6 months to one year.
Hi! 19, living in Footscray at the moment and would love to stay around the area. Agreeable, accepting of others, mature and self-sufficient/tidy person. I tend to keep to myself and respect privacy but I enjoy just having people around. Psychology undergrad student so neurological facts at random intervals come as standard. I spend a lot of time going to gigs, studying, and eating cereal. I enjoy fanning out over art, obscure bands and tele shows. As a final selling point, I come with an extensive repertoire of elaborate salad recipes incl. :)
Hello I have recently got a new full time job in port Melbourne starting in February and looking for a new place to stay and hopefully call home. Originally from Brisbane. I am a quiet guy around the house, mostly keeping to myself. That being said I would enjoy afternoon chats or the occasional meal/board game as a house. I have quite a broad range of interests ranging from just gaming/Netflix to travelling and diving. Looking for a 3 month stay preferably for now but am flexible. Also I am currently abroad and unavailable for inspections until 24th of January but can Skype to talk and meet each other. Look forward to hearing from you :)
Im a baker/chef, moving to Melbourne from across the ditch to continue my career in hospo. I'm tidy, clean and respectful (all the usual buzz words). Don't mind the odd drink and party or flat meal. Recently discovered I can make a mean ratatouille and I love a good laugh!
I am easy going, pay on time, clean after myself. I am into yoga, meditation, hula hooping, dark chocolate, hiking, markets, second hand stuff, camping. I love a friendly environment in our home but I am also very independent and keep myself busy. I am vegetarian but I do not mind if you are not :) I prefer long stay but I am also adaptable to short stay since I won't have a place from February 2018. Please message me via Flatmates. Thanks.
Danish architecture student on exchange in Melbourne. Hoping to share a place with happy housemates February-June. Hi! I’m a Danish architecture student looking for a room in Melbourne during my exchange semester at RMIT. I’m hoping to share a place with housemates, as well as having my own private room. I expect to spend a lot of time at uni, but I’d love the company of flatmates for the time I'm home, and occasionally share a meal together. I'm always up for a coffee and a chat, or a friday night glass of wine. I enjoy climbing, yoga, travelling, cycling around the city, and cooking with friends. I also like listening to lots of podcasts which means I might sometimes have weird facts/stories to share. I'm considerate and have lived with others before, and I'm vegan. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you have anything available.
We're two international students from Vietnam in need of off-campus accommodation, as we'll start our courses at Monash University from March 2018. We're not a pain in the ass. We don't bump loud music at night, so your sleeping schedule will not be disturbed. We don't steal food in the fridge. We don't litter. We're very negotiable when it comes to chores. Overall, we're reasonable people (or at least we think so). Living with international students could be a refreshing experience too. Don't worry about the cartoon picture, we just don't have a picture we can upload at the moment, so that'll be used temporarily.
We are two chilean girls looking for a place to live while doing our semester abroad in Victoria University. We would like to stay with Aussies or Melbourne citizens so we get to practice the language and know the culture. We are responsible, cooperative and easygoing people and we are really excited about expending quality time in Australia.
Hey! My name's Chantel :) I'm returning to university this year and am looking to live closer to campus so I can focus on my studies. I also work part time at Coles and am happy to use my discount card when it comes to buying groceries ;) I am tidy in the communal areas, not one for drama. I love to socialise as much as I love my own space. I am an ambivert and am looking to move out in the next 1 or 2 weeks
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and eager to learn to see things in a new perspective and to learn different cultures with respect whilst studying! Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise, I’m up for anything you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! Let me know if we could team up. Cheers!
