Hi everyone, I am here with Working Holiday visa and currently working in hospitality. Living in King Street now but the guy who I took over his room is coming back from his country on Tuesday. So I am just looking for another decent place with great people to settle. I've been flatting with people from quite different nationalities in several countries ( the UK, US, Netherlands, Germany, Poland and now in Australia ) during my studies & working period, therefore know the importance of being clean, considerate and respectful flatmate. To talk more about myself, I am 24, originally a mechatronics engineer and interested in renewable energy. Planning to leave Sydney and move out after about minimum 3 months. (Will be exploring the rural areas and seeking for a job in the field of solar energy later on). I believe that I am a sociable, open-minded and easy going person so there probably won’t be any problem for me and the other people living in the house to get along with each other. If you think I am a good fit for your place, please let me know. Cheers :)
Hi there, I'm a 40 year old woman (feels really odd writing that down because I definitely don't feel it), working full-time (9-5) with a rights advocacy NGO. I've entered in an interesting period of my life with two almost adult children, one who is currently studying in Florence, Italy and the other returning to boarding school through 2019. This would be my first time living in a share house but I'm embracing it as an opportunity for a new experience. I'm generally pretty quiet around the house, like to read but also feel most at home when there are people around. I enjoy socialising with friends on weekends and, after a long year out of the gym I'm keen to get back to it. Any questions let me know. T :)
Hey my name is Lea, I’m 25 years old and I am starting to study communication in Sydney at the end of januray. I’m now looking for a nice place to stay, where I feel comfortable. I love being outside in nature preferably with some good company. I love yoga, meditation, music, reading and writing . One of my biggest passions is food and trying new things as well as cooking. Oh and random but I love food shopping ! I prefer to cook for other people and have some good conversations while drinking a glass of wine or a cup of tea. I hope to meet some like minded people that enjoy life as mich as I do. Would be great to live in a share flat with a good vibe. I am in love with the Ocean and beach so it would be ideal to live in walking distance to it. I like to be both, social and by myself sometimes. I think I enjoy it both. Balance is key for me :)
Clean, fun, a bit geeky. A chef by training, I am currently studying food science at UNSW. I like early mornings, social time and quiet time as well. I like spending time outdoors (hiking, camping, bikepacking, kayaking) learning and sharing (especially food, music, books, ideas). I grew up on a property in FNQ on the Atherton Tablelands. I've worked at remote resorts, farms, festivals and on fishing trawlers. Love work and love learning too.
Hi! A little bit about ourselves: We're Hamish (right) and Ricky (left). We are both Aussie mates who were born and raised in Japan (if you don't believe it, we can show you our IDs!). I'm a full-time undergraduate student at UNSW and Ricky is coming down in February to work full-time for a year. Ricky and I both love travelling, trying out new food, and discussing all kinds of topics. We don't smoke and we don't party, but on the flip side we like taking breaks from our professional lives and relax to watch Netflix, comedy, and have discussions. We don't like messiness and we like to keep things clean. Regarding payment: Ricky is flying down in February, so if there is a place where I can pay Ricky's rent on his behalf until he arrives that will be great. What we are looking for: -Location: Basically a location close to UNSW (Randwick, Kingsford, Kensington, Maroubra, Zetland, Rosebery, Coogee) -Rent: $400-$600 per week ($200-$300 per person) -Bedrooms: Flexible, although we'd prefer 2 separate bedrooms (not double room) -Furnished or not: furnished -Washing machine and a dryer, though if we can dry it outside then a dryer is unnecessary. -Move-in date: 31st/Jan/2019 -Shared toilet -Shared kitchen -length of stay: at least 6 months -Gender: Flexible
Looking to become besties with some Inner Westies! During the week, I work part-time while studying for my honours in product design at UTS but on the weekend, you can find me exploring the city, bargain-hunting at Glebe markets or chilling out listening to music. I'm seeking a cosy place to call home between work and uni and would love to make some new friends! You can depend on me to be really tidy, respect your personal space and belongings, and always pay my rent on time! Looking to move in February/March but I'm flexible for the right place/people.
Hi! Gokhan here. I'm a 29-year-old human-being who tries to have a minimalistic life. I decided to take a break from Sydney after living there for 3 years and moved to Melbourne 5 months ago. Now I'm going back home to Sydney; mostly because of the weather in Melbourne which is quite unbearable even in summer as we all know -no offence Melburnians :) I am currently up-skilling myself in the field of Artificial Intelligence, so most of my time is dedicated to my computer and codes; it might sound a bit nerdy; not that scary though, trust me! I am a physically active, non-smoker guy; I regularly go to the gym (Fitness First), cook my own food, eat healthily and rarely have a glass of wine or two. I don't expect much from my prospective flatmates. We are all grown-ups, so I know everybody knows how to treat each other, and just because we are humans, we are likely to have conflicts every now and then. Still, I believe people can solve any problem as long as they are able to communicate. It is sad that I am not available for face to face inspection as I am currently in Melbourne and I will be back in Sydney on the 5th of February; however, we can arrange a Face time call or something else. Statistically speaking, 60% of people don’t read until this point. Now that you are reading this, special thanks to you for not being one of them to increase the percentage. :)
Hey there! I'm Dajana (pronounced Diana). I'm a 23 year old recent law graduate looking for a place in Sydney as I will be commencing work there soon. I am super sociable and love meeting new people and taking a breather on the weekends. I've travelled all over and am finally settling down to focus on my career. I am after a place with equally sociable and outgoing people. I'm heading over from Adelaide and don't know many contacts in Sydney so it is important for me to be surrounded by friendly and like-minded individuals. I have an array of interests and get along with everyone. Very into hiking and trekking, a little too into coffee and always down to hang out. I am very organised and just a bundle of joy to have around, always operating at a high energy. I've set my stay to 6 months although I do see myself there long-term.
I'm an IT contractor that returned from London about 3 months ago, I currently work at Sydney Olympic Park. I'm Australian and have spent sometime living abroad, Vancouver and also London for a good 8-9 years. I've always lived with people! My main interests are the outdoors, martial arts and yoga. Yoga is a huge part of my life. I taught in London and looking to setup classes here. I play the harmonium quite a bit and you need to be comfortable with the noise and my singing! :) I am vegetarian and my preference is to have no dead animals in the fridge. In all honestly I'm OK if you eat meat, my last flatmate ate meat and she fed her cat meat! I'm comfortable living with animals and hands down prefer dogs over cats! I'm drama free, clean and easy to get a long with, looking for the same in a housemate. I need a bit of space to do my practice and also parking spot, so prefer house over a flat. Get in touch if you feel I'll be a good fit!
I clean up after myself and i'm super laid back. I have friendly well trained cat named Casper that goes where I go but I take care of him myself!
Hi! I'm a Primary School Teacher and currently doing casual work at a few different schools. I’m into surfing, yoga, basketball, hiking, films, books, and cooking delicious dinners. I have lived in share houses and flats in Milan, Canada, Jindabyne, and Niseko in Japan; where I shared a small house with 14 other people. I’m really good at keeping common areas clean and tidy and respecting other’s privacy and personal space. (Even when it is somewhat limited!) Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit – I’d love to come check the place out and meet you! 😊 P.S. I'm allergic to cats but I love dogs :)
