Hello, my name is Sally and I just graduated from Bond Uni, plan to move back from Gold Coast to Brisbane to be close to my friends because I used to study at UQ for two years. I’m a easy going person, currently focus on my academic English language test so I need a quite place with good internet for daily practice. Normally I would like to spend time with my friends at weekends to hang out, jogging or hiking. I come from China, can speak Chinese, English and Korean. And I would like to find a ensuit or own bathroom room. I would happy to talk with roomies at any time but also respect the others. If you have a great house to share please let me know, I’m currently live in Gold Coast but could drive back to Brisbane every three days. Thanks
I have recently moved out of Emmanuel college, and am entering the third year of my Business degree at UQ. I'm very social and outgoing, but also take my studies seriously. Looking for a fun, chilled place to live for the rest of the year :)
Hi There, My name is Kristy. I am 28 and have just relocated my life from Townsville down to Brisbane. I work full time at a University in the city, and I am now looking for a place to call home :) I am clean, tidy, easy going, I love to travel, meet new people and Ideally i am hoping to befriend my future housemate/s. I like to stay fairly quiet during the week, and come home from work to chill out with Netflix or some Trashy TV show. I am looking for a place with mature likeminded people, who can appreciate privacy and down time, but who are also happy to sit down at the end of a day and have a chat over a bevvie or dinner. I love to cook, and enjoy sharing the odd meals if that is something you would be interested in? On the weekends I like to be fairly social, and catching up with family and friends. I am also keen to do a bit of exploring so would be taking some day trips out of Brisbane. I enjoy a night out every so often, but much prefer a bar/pub type setting - I enjoy a good wine, a good vodka… Let's face it I enjoy a drink with the right company in the right situations however I am respectful, not over the top and do not want a full time party house but am open to the odd one. I have lived in share housing in Townsville for the last 8 years, and so i can appreciate keeping a household clean. I am a very tidy person, and strongly believe in keeping communal areas of a share house tidy. My previous share houses worked off a cleaning roster - So I’m not afraid to get in and clean, or work on a bit of a roster type scenario. I like living in a clean welcoming environment! I am preferably looking for a room big enough for a queen size bed and other furnishing desk, shelf etc, with Air-conditioning, Robe and an Ensuite or Own Bathroom. Look forward to meeting you! :)
Hello there! My name is Becca :) I am a 25 year old student who has just begun a Masters of Dietetics at UQ (evidently, I reaaaally enjoy food and cooking). Between this and work, I generally lead a pretty busy life and am home similar hours to an office-worker. While I do have a tendency to hermit myself during the week while I'm in study/exam mode, I am still undoubetedly a sociable lass who enjoys a chat, a Netflix get-together on a rainy Sunday, or a nice, quiet wine on a Friday afternoon. I have a partner-in-crime (my dog, Pablo), who will evidently be needing to relocate with me. He is a totally loveable little goofball of a staffy - LOVES humans and adores cuddles. His nickname is Sloth, as he tends to do nothing during the day/sleeps when no-ones home. He is quite insecure around big dogs/cats (loves little fluff-pups though), and so I would need for him to be an only-pet in a dog-friendly space. All in all, he's a perfect housemate, and leaves things just as clean as I left them. My main priority is that any potential housemates also love dogs, as Pablo always enjoys chilling with the humans or being a fellow couch potato with you if I'm at uni/work. I would prefer to pay nothing over $200, and am looking for private room to rent in the Western Suburbs (anywhere from Kenmore, Red Hill, Toowong to West End etc.) to the South side (Greenslopes, Fairfield, Dutton Park, etc). Thanks! :)
I love a good chat about almost anything interesting but have my own life and not likely to cling too close unless you bake muffins, on the other hand I am not a total recluse, I would consider my self well balance and ready to complement any functional household. Sober (no substance issues), clean, cooperative open communicater. I am reliable with bills, willing to contribute to cleaning etc. Working on a good picture for the profile, have taken 100's but there seems to be something wrong with my camera, will update soon. As well as existing properties I am interested in teaming up with someone for an NRAS property application.
Hey everbody, this is Sebastian from Germany. I will be studying at Griffith University for 5 months. I would like to get to know different people and cultures but also furthering my master studies in social science. I'm a sociable, adaptable and considerate person and respect personal boundaries. I have been a student for the last 5 years and stayed young in this way, so the age of my flatmates doesn't matter at all. I'm looking for a furnished place in a shared flat or house which is on the quieter side and near Nathan Campus. I would love to find a nice place, where I can hangout with my roommies once in a while, but also get some solo time for my studies. In my spare time I enjoy meeting friends and getting to know open-minded people or simpy being outside (in the city/nature or travelling). For further questions fell free to contact me.
I am an international student studying IT and working part time. I am looking for some friendly and social housemates with I can move in. I will be back to Brisbane on 22 Feb. So just want to find a accommodation before I arrivee.
Hello lovelies! On the 29th March I will be fleeing the coup and moving to Brisbane to study a Cert lll in Pathology Collection @ TAFE in South Bank! I will be securing a casual/part time job in the hospitality/retail industry until my course is complete. I will be needing to rent a room for 2-3 months but if i end up loving the place and/or my roommates I would be more then happy to continue living there! I'm definitely a little social butterfly always seeking adventure but also love my alone time and will always respect yours! I am an early sleeper/riser and a big health nut but always down for some nachos every now and then. I'm super clean (lowkey germ freak), constantly making an effort to clean up after myself and respectful to your wishes. I am super genuine and would love for nothing more then to brighten your night after a shit day at work! Would never say no to a cheeky bev or two x
Hi! I'm looking for a social house to move into in early March. I'm studying financial planning at Griffith uni, working part time and I also drive uber occasionally. I like to have a beer and a chat, and looking to make some friends in the place. I'm laid back and enjoy a bit of private time every now & then and respect everyone's personal space, but really looking for to make some friends and move into a fun house. I am fairly neat & tidy, like to cook and fairly independent. Hit me up if you think we would be a good match, I'd love to come check out the place and meet everyone :)
Oh Hi, Hello!! I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly easy to get along with almost everyone. I am fairly quiet, tidy, clean and more importantly respectful and trustworthy. I live an active, social and healthy lifestyle. My hobbies are fitness, beach, road trips, music production, modeling and travelling. I'm fairly chill and tend to keep to myself most of the time working on my computer desk in my room. Although I love having a good chat or hanging. I am not a party person but I don't mind going out partying over the weekends. Also I love animals and if you have any, I would adore them.
I'm a bubbly, outgoing gal who loves to socialise and enjoy a beer or two. I work full time as a nurse at the Princess Alexandra hospital, making me a shift working, so I'll be at work most days. However, when I am home, I enjoy having some quiet time and cooking. Im clean, tidy and very respectful of others space. I'm looking for a friendly roommate to share a place with. I'm flexible and willing to negotiate the logistics of this arrangement, so I look forward to hearing from you ! - Hannah
Hi, I'm Simon, I have lived in a number of share houses in Sydney and Brisbane, whilst Studying and I'm in my final year of studying Engineering. I play Inline & Ice Hockey, enjoy a bit of video games. I enjoy both quiet personal time, and being sociable with my housemates.
I am a full time engineering student, work part time as a consultant, mostly fly in fly out. I’m easygoing, considerate, quite and I clean up after myself. I'm fairly active and I spend most of my weekends (when not working or studying) out diving/climbing/skydiving or anything that sounds fun. My room mates are selling their house, I’m sure they’ll give you a great reference. I need to be out in around 6 weeks but earlier is cool. I’ve got a 4x4 that I can store elsewhere if need be but I’ll need somewhere to park my work car when I’m in Brissy. On the street is fine. Only things I’m not down with are dirty people and junkies, anything else is none of my business. Not home very often, especially on uni breaks (I think I’ve spent 2 or 3 weeks at home in the last 4 months).
Alex and Lucas are great mates with a terrible sense of humour. Both heavily involved in Brisbane's Futsal scene, with Alex directing Aletti FC, and Lucas playing Series QLD/AUS for Kenmore FC. Lucas is a student at UQ, and works part time making coffee (jackpot for anyone joining us right?). Alex works full time across two jobs and plays football at Moggill. We're both clean, enthusiastic and easy-going people. Bring your mates around because we promise we're some of the least awkward people you'll ever meet - maybe. We're assuming the $190 budget is each -- not total.
G'day g'day, I'm a twenty-three year old originally from the Sunny Coast. Having just arrived home from Central America, I'm putting in the hard yards to earn back all that I've spent on tacos and tequila, but am currently having to commute to Brisbane for work. Open to residing just about anywhere reasonably close to the city. Not wanting to lock down anything longer than a six month stay at this stage, and ideally would like to stay off the lease as I'm not sure what the later part of the year holds for me just yet (but will certainly reconsider for the right place). Flexible moving dates between Feb and March 2018. Looking to pay a max amount of $160 per week. I'm super easy going, friendly and open minded. I'm a disability support worker and currently work alongside a legendary little dude in South Bris, but have a crack at music production/Djing on the side. Bonus points if you share a passion for bangers! Also love travelling, having a yarn, a brewski at the week's end, cooking up mad vego meals and I'd love to meet ya mates. I'm looking for a somewhat sociable home where a drink/laugh/meal can be shared every so often. I've lived in all sorts of beautifully sticky situations, from a 1984 Ford motorhome with five of the best lads you could know, to a four bedroom flat accommodating fifteen big personalities and a colony of small rodents (it was as fun as it sounds), so I'm very used to sharing living space while also being considerate of other's needs, privacy and belongings. To be honest, those I'm sharing with matter much more to me than the place itself. I'm all for sh*tholes with good vibes! If you reckon I'm fit for the job, I'll be going off like a bucket of prawns in the hot sun to hear from ya. Lucy x
I am a fulltime Software Engineer working for the Queensland Government. I am personally a quite person, that enjoys time at the gym, reading, and going on hikes. I currently live in the Gold Coast and am looking to move somewhere closer to the city.
Hi! My name is Jane and I am a student at UQ and am working part time. I'm pretty quiet and am focused on work and Uni at the moment so I'm looking for a place that I can relax and study in but I'm also always up for a chat. I'm respectful and tidy, I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill. I also am looking for a place that is pet friendly. I have a 7 yo cat named George who is lovely and gentle and quiet. :D
