Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm a french girl and I will go to Brisbane to study English for one year at UQ, and I would like to discover the country and the life in Brisbane. I'm respectful, clean, sociable, always smiling and happy I love surfing, diving, shopping,... I would like to be with some Australians flatmates to improve my English Hope to meet you soon!
From Brisbane, I am returning to study in my "mature" years. Looking for a friendly group of people. I am chill and want to avoid drama and respect boundaries. I am a gamer and a bit of a nerd as well. I do prefer to keep things clean, I suck at cooking but I love to bake. Liz Lemon is my idol and I everything in life can be related back to The Simpsons. 420 friendly.
Hi everyone, I am a very neat and tidy person. I'm very respectful of others and their need for quiet and personal space, I'm also mature, independent, understanding, fun loving, social and friendly. I'm 18 so I'm always keen for a good night out but I also I like catching up with friends, I'm an active person but I do love my food and I also like chilling at home watching some good old Netflix! Right now I'm on my gap year working on our family property in NSW. I am a farm girl but don't worry I'm not a complete bogan and I went to boarding school in Brisbane so I know my way around and have plenty of friends up there. I'm hoping to move in late July or early August so I'm able to settle in and get a job and earn more money before I start uni at QUT next year. I'm looking for a place that has easy access to the city, is preferably furnished but if not that's ok, I love animals so I'm more than happy to live with pets and I am looking for a place where the rent is under $180! So if you think that I would be a good fit for your house please message me!!!
Just moved up here from Sydney in the last two months and am looking for a private room close to public transport. I am currently studying a bachelor of film at SAE Institute in West End. As long as I can move in sometime in August I don't mind what day. I do NOT have a car so I need to be reasonably close to public transport (train or bus). I am 18 reasonably quite and keep to myself. I have rented before both privately and through an agency so down pat with everything. I have stayed in a share house, granny flat, townhouse and basically the whole lot so anything you got I don't mind. I have some of my own furniture so thats not an issue. I'm pretty easy going, always up for a chat. Aussie background but can't really cook to save my life so hope you're not after a masterchef. I've grown up around pets so although I don't have any of my own they don't bother me. LGBT friendly, you do you boo. Looking for a team up or a room in a current place with not too many people. I like having my own space and need a private room. No room shares. Message me if I seem like you're kinda person :)
Just moved back to Australia after travelling throughout North America for the past two years, and am looking for a new home. I'm social but also enjoy time to myself, I keep busy with language studies, yoga, dancing, reading and swimming. Looking for an open-minded, friendly and clean sharehouse.
Hello! I am a full time masters student at UQ. Currently living on the sunny coast but looking to move to Brisbane in the next few weeks. Date is flexible. I will be working part time in addition to uni so I will be out a lot. I am looking for a clean, quiet home to relax at when I am home. No couples, no parties.
I'm a fairly social person and get along with almost everyone. I'm tidy and I'm not home a lot as I work late some nights.
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hi, I am a clean and tidy guy from India studying here at UQ. I love to meet new people from all over the world. I like having a nice chill with a few beers and an occasional party does no harm to anybody. I can cook but I also know how to clean up my mess. Looking forward to a great flatmate.
We are an awesome and easygoing couple and we mostly keep to ourselves, but love sitting down having a chat with a glass of wine or two. Sharehousing is no stranger to either of us and we know how important keeping common areas clean and tidy is. We are both professionals (software developer and social worker) and looking for accommodation that's relatively close to Brisbane's CBD. It would be great to find a property that has excess storage to store furniture from our existing place, although we're not against using our furniture if it could be considered useful in the house.
My name is Svend and I'm a Norwegian backpacker working fulltime in Brisbane as a part of my working holiday trip to Australia. Im planning to stay in Brisbane until the end of October and looking for a place to stay parts or the entire duration. Im very easy going and easy to live with. I like to have a chat, do some cooking together or watch tv, but I also enjoy quiet nights in my room playing games with my friends or just netflixing by myself. I work monday to friday 8-4, so would not have alot of people over or party during the week. Althought Im not the one to say no to a glass of wine and some good campany during the weekends. I used to living with room mates and prefer it that way. I like to have people around me, living along gets boring over time I have a passion for travelling, been all over the world (soon) and have lots of stories to tell. I also enjoy going for runs or go to the gym (getting back into it after some times overseas).
I'm currently studying my Honours in biomedical science at UQ and I'm looking for accommodation until the end of the university semester (mid-late November). I'm a pretty relaxed person, and happy to socialise outside of uni and keep the house clean.
I'm currently on the hunt for a room to rent with girls or guys around my age. I'm really easy going when it comes to day to day living and treat others as I would like to be treated. Always friendly, bit of a social butterfly but also appreciate 'me time' 21, originally from Mackay QLD and looking for a fresh lease on life. I work a full time job which is 40 hours per week mon - fri (administration) I enjoy social bevs on my weekends and spend a lot of time with my family and friends so I'd be almost invisible when I have time off, unless of course we hit it off and become great friends. I like adventuring to new places and meeting new people. A through and through music lover of all genres, adore makeup and beauty and enjoy time on social media platforms, looking for all round chilled vibes, really. Basically just easy going. I'm a clean cut person when it comes to living and would like to share accom with others who also take pride in their surroundings. Happy to respond to emails from people who are willing to rent a room. I will be ready to relocate within a week or 2. Look forward to hearing from prospective flatmates, cheers.
Hello potential room mates! I am a student at the University of Queensland in Mathematics (so bonus free math tutor !). I love the outdoors (think hiking / trekking), have a soft spot for board games and am always keen for a friendly beer and chat. I work as a high school maths and science tutor as a part time job at the State Library of Queensland. I am a good housemate and have been so before. I respect communal area tidiness, make a respectful amount of noise and respect the privacy of your room. I know how to use a washing machine, do the dishes and clean up after myself. I promise to let you know beforehand if friends are going to be over (and to ask if its okay) and always include you in any events held at the apartment. Oh and importantly, I pay my share of the bills on time and in full. My last lease ended as the landlord decided to sell the property. If you're interested, feel free to give me a message over this site or text me (just say you're from here). Look forward to hearing from you soon!
A little about us - My name is Gemma, 26 and working full time in HR. My partner Brock is 30 and he works as a teacher. We are just returning from 6 months travelling overseas and looking for a place that is close to our workplaces, gym, etc. We are both very easy-going, clean, social and live an active lifestyle. We are pretty quiet during the week as we work Mon-Fri but like to enjoy our weekends out and about and with a glass of wine or 2.
I am a friendly, motivated, easy going guy, clean and looking for similar aged people to move in with. I work full time as a machine operator Monday to Friday. Keen to make new friends as I don't know many people in Brisbane, always interested in a chinwag over a beer after work. Cheers, Jack
I am a personable Canadian University student studying Electrical Engineering. I am doing an internship at the AIBN at UQ from September until December. I can get along with anyone, but can also keep to myself if preferred. I am clean and quiet. I enjoy adventures, board sports, music production, and learning about other cultures. If you have any questions let me know!
