Hi there I'm looking for a place that is within 15km from the city and walking distance to public transport. I'm a clean and tidy person who is considerate, I respect other peoples privacy and expect the same in return, I can be shy at first but eventually opens up to people :-) The type of flatmate I'm looking for is someone who is respectful, considerate, tidy and that includes respecting there flatmate's privacy, and most important is someone that doesn't treat the place as a party house or who uses drugs !
I am good to live with because I am neat, tidy and energetic. I am currently studying arts/law at Monash going into fourth year and would love to live with girls, boys need or a mix in 2019 around Malvern, armadale, toorak, Caulfield, Glen Iris or anywhere that is short bike ride from the Caulfield bus interchange.
Hi! I'm a 26 year old female looking to move from Albury to Melbourne around the 9th Feb. I have 2 super friendly and house trained border collies who would be coming with me. I don't know many people in Melbourne, so would love to find housemates that want to be friends as well (but I totally get the need for alone time, I don't expect to hang out all the time!) I enjoy cooking, a good Netflix binge and the odd drink. I do have some furniture, but not everything. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! 😊
Hey, I'm an easy going guy who grew up in the coastal town of Warrnambool. I like to surf, skate, snowboard and go camping when I can. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday for an essential services company. I am very considerate towards anyone I live with, trying my best to treat others with kindness and respect, hopefully receiving the same in return. I have a lovely partner Sierra who I would hope could stay with me on occasion also :) I’m good to live with because I can communicate openly and honestly, clean up after myself and recognise when others want someone to talk to, or when they need their own space.
I am a very clean, great conversational and easy going person. I don't cook, but I'm fantastic doing the dishes. I will start my Master in Social Work in March at Monash, so I am looking for a place around South Yarra, Prahran, St. Kilda... I work as a journalist for a website about technology , science and other geeky stuff in general, like Marvel and GoT. I'm keeping my mexican "daytime" job, so I'll be working in my room ("the one" I'm looking for) from like 3 am till morning time in Australia and then go to school, come back to sleep and do it all again. On the weekends, I'll probably go out to dance salsa, bachata, kizomba and zouk.
Hey there! Looking for a place to live for the next 4-12 months. I am keen on seeing different areas of Melbourne so don't mind if it is only a shorter-term lease. My selling points: often out of the house, will contribute indoor plants and wafts of delicious food down the hallway. Will happily keep to myself or have a chat. Have lived in many share houses around the world so know the drill. I am clean (very keen on the idea of a cleaning schedule) and considerate of space (will clean up my stuff when finished in communal spaces, and will try to use the kitchen when no ones else is). Me: - I have just finished up a Sociological research project on dating apps and gender norms (very interesting) and am currently seeking a social-science research position for 2019, considering a PhD for the year after. I also volunteer at an organisation advocacing for more humane policy for people seeking asylum in Australia. - I play field hockey and generally like to be active. - Typical millennial who likes travel and food. - Non-typical millennial who doesn't like social media. What I'm looking for in my housemates: Don't have too many expectations but definitely looking for being with shared values around being eco-conscious and open-minded and, potentially most importantly, I am keen on housemates who like to communicate when they have issues (I will do the same) so we can discuss, compromise and continue on with a happy and sustainable housemate relationship. What I'm looking for in my new dwelling: ~10min walk to a train station (or tram directly into the city). Anywhere in the South-East or Eastern suburbs. Medium-to-lots of natural light.
Well grounded irish female moving from Perth to Melbourne for a new job and seeking a nice safe and modern rental for myself or a room in a home that is quiet. I am a Consultant, who leads a quiet life but has a bubbly and outgoing personality. Non smoker/drinker/drug taker/partier. Into health and fitness, meditating, self development, reading, learning new things (currently learning to dj as a hobby), making natural products. I am respectful of others and not looking for a housemate to entertain me or vice versa. Clean and tidy and pays rent & bills on time. Looking for a place to myself or to share with one other person maximum, someone who is like minded, leads a quite life and is respectful of another persons quiet time and space (no couples please). Move date will be mid January 2019.
I am a young at heart woman who enjoy the company of others. I am a non-smoker and am passionate about music and the arts. I have a small cleaning business, so consider myself tidy and well organised. I love cats and dogs, so don't mind if you have either. I love entertaining and catching up with my friends, but I also love a quiet night in. I haven't shared for a while, and so am looking forward to making new friendships and learning more about myself as a person. To share an occasional meal, enjoy wicked banter, watch Netflix and even share a cheese platter with a great drop of vino, would bring me joy. I am happily single, so don't anticipate regular overnight guests! :) I have a house full of furniture, so can bring what is required, but I would prefer my own bedroom furniture.
Hi guys, just a little about me. As a flatmate I'm super patient and pretty out-going. I love to meet new people and try new things and am really open-minded. I clean up after myself and I take full responsibility for myself which I think is really important in a share-house. I also enjoy my own privacy - I like to read, listen to music and do other more introverted activities which is why privacy is really important to me.
Hey. I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and a fun flatmate. I enjoy meeting new people, going on food adventures and socialising, but I'm not a party person. I’m a huge fitness fanatic, love exerciseing and am constantly at the gym. And I love animals too. Right now, I currently live on the Gold Coast, but I will be making the move to Melbourne at the start of January to further my career in photography. I’m ideally looking for a place that is close to reliable public transportation and looking for a roommate/s (male or female) that are similar to me, career driven and are not party people. Additionally, I’m also looking for a room with my own bathroom.
Kind and loyal single female from the sunshine coast Qld. Looking for a place to rent for 6 months. Working as a nurse full time in camberwell. Clean and keep to myself.
I am an honest, quiet and respectful 22 year old graduate who will be working full time in the Melbourne CBD whilst also completing my graduate diploma. I am looking for a place to stay from Monday-Friday and will probably travel home to see my family most weekends. I love to have a chat but definitely understand privacy and that everyone needs their own personal space. I am friendly, personable and possess a positive outlook- I would really love to meet a housemate with the same values as me.
I’m definitely not your average house mate I hate living in an environment where you don’t talk to your house mates and act as if you never see each other! I’m all for living like a family and being respectful of people work schedules! I get every Thursday and Sunday off, so I work every Saturday and know what it’s like just want to get some bloody sleep 🤣
Hi there! We are looking for a place to stay for around 6 months starting mid January. We are fun, friendly housemates that are very intent on maintaining a clean, fun household. works fulltime and Jennah both studies and works part-time. We like a casual drink and we love to cook and binge watch Netflix. We also enjoy going for walks and spending time outdoors, and we love animals! If you have something to offer, please let us know!
Hey (hopefully) new housemates! I’m a 20-something year-old friendly guy with a steady paycheck and great experiences in some great sharehouses. I’m moving out of home (again) after (finally) finishing my final year of university - looking to make new friends as well as housemates. Benefits of living with me - quality cook, very domesticated, clean guy but not a cleanliness crackpot, keen on big chats over wines/tea and big fan of the occasional boogie/karaoke/trivia session. Ask me around for a chat any time!

We are an easy going and open minded couple. We are both chefs so are extremely busy with our schedules. We are barely ever home but whenever we are, we don't mind chilling out for a bit.
Hi there! I'm Alice, 30 years old from the UK. At the moment I work in Armadale in a fashion boutique and write as a hobby in my spare time. I'm on my Working Holiday Visa but I am hoping to stay in Melbourne for the foreseeable future as it's pretty amazing here. I'm an easy-going, clean and tidy person looking for house mates who are of a similar mindset. I don't smoke, drink heavily or take drugs so no party houses for me but I love chilling out with a glass of wine now and again. My all-time favourite thing is going out for food, and I do enjoy cooking (though I'm really not very good at baking sadly) so I'd be up for house dinners or finding some new places with housemates on occasion. I'm usually out and about as I work as much as I can or see friends, concerts or go to church events but I try to have a couple of nights in to relax. Whilst I am friendly and really easy to get along with I do value my own space, and of course would respect the same in my housemates. I would love to find a furnished room in a house share, preferably singles and no couples as I don't want to feel like I'm intruding or being that awkward third wheel :) As I said I work a lot so ideally in a quiet location but close to amenities and to work would be brilliant. My max including bills is $240 p/w. Looking forward to hearing from you, Alice
Hello there! We are Nathanael & Maximilian. We have plans to travel to Melbourne on the 15th of January 2019. Together we plan on working in Melbourne for a month or two until we can sort out a truck/van with all the essentials we need for a couple months on the road. Max and I met in New Zealand back at secondary school 3 years ago when he was on an exchange and I was a student. We have planned this trip for years and it has finally come time to make it happen. A bit about us Nathanael Lane - I am a 20 year old from New Zealand. In the past 2 years I have travelled all over Australia, China, New Zealand and Indonesia working as a freelance videographer and tradesman. I am a self sufficient, hard working young man who enjoys exploring, photography and am all about a good time. Maximilian Friedrich - I am a 19 year old from Germany. Over the past 2 years I have completed school and started my own clothing brand. I have worked in numerous places and have now travelled back to New Zealand with the hope of travelling, living and working in Australia. I enjoy music, reading and skating. We are open for anywhere to stay for up to 2 months. We are open to share houses and share rooms if need be. We have applied for jobs in the Glen Eira, and we will not have our own means of transportation in the first few weeks we are in Australia so anywhere close to a train station would be ideal. If you have a house with 2 beds available feel free to be in contact with us. CV/Resume's can be sent through on request. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Nathanael & Maximilian.
Hello!! My current lease ends in early Jan and I am hoping to find some fun new housemates. I'm currently working in retail casually and studying full time. Which keeps me out of the house most of the week, I am clean, easygoing and love being social. Hoping to find housemates that are likeminded and enjoy a cheeky glass of wine or a movie night. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, queries, or just wanna have a chat. Look forward to hearing from you!
