Hey :) I’m Siân, 24-year-old full-time student & part-time worker. I’m keen on renting somewhere in the western suburbs around the Port Rd/Grange Rd area, and ideally a newly built house (sick of old houses that are falling apart!). The two main things that I am looking for are a whole-house air con (quite important to me! I'm not someone to always have the air con on, but spending the last two summers in houses that don't have air conditioning has really shown to me that you do need one for those 30+ degree nights) and an inside laundry (not a fan of trekking out to a shed to do my washing and fighting off spiders). I am a vego/vegan but not bothered by what someone who lives with me eats! I'm not an especially fabulous cook, but I can make a mean curry and I'm pretty solid with homemade pizzas amongst other things, but I do enjoy the weekly ubereats order. I also enjoy hanging out and watching a movie or having a chat, but super respectful of space and still enjoy alone time! I’m super clean, love reading and binge-watching new Netflix shows. I’m someone who can’t sit at home during the day, and I’m constantly out doing something. I have two jobs and in my spare time I volunteer as a coordinator with Sea Shepherd. I'm also a full-time Communications and Media student in my final year at UniSA but I usually choose to study at Uni to focus more. If this sounds like it fits in with you, hit me up and we can grab a coffee or chat :)
Hello, I am travelling from China to Adelaide to further my studies with an open mind. I am a friendly person with no bad habits. I like to keep things organized and regard cleanliness and tidiness as a virtue. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker. I love animals!
I'm a friendly, easy going guy looking for self contained accommodation, or to share with like-minded folk. I'm educated but not working at the moment. Some health issues have forced me to stop working and relocate back home to Adelaide, which I’m really happy about. I'm working with doctors and naturopaths to get better and I'm looking for a peaceful space to do this for 3-6 months. I have varied interests. I’m clean and tidy. I’m quiet around the house but like a chat. I’m not opposed to vices. If you'd like to chat, get in touch and let's meet up. I’m also open to an exchange of some sort, i.e. help with chores or errands in exchange for reduced rent. Matt
Hi Guys, How are you doing? I am dutch student biomedical science and I am looking for a furnished room in Adelaide from February till the end of July. I am here for an internship at the Royal australasian college of surgeons (next to the Uni of Adelaide) for my master programma. I am an open minded, easy going, friendly guy that love sports (love to go surfing, swimming diving together!) , hangout with friends, go party together or just have a relaxt netflix-movienight together. Hygiene is important for me and I will make sure my room/appartment will be clean. I also love to cook; perhaps I could let you experience a dutch meal :) After I finished my internship I wanna go travel around Australia for 3 - 4 months. Maybe we could go explore some parts of Australia together already during the weekends :) I am already in Adelaide and live at the Goodwood Road but I would love to live somewhere more central in the city center. Are you going to be my new aussie mate? :) Cheer and hope to see you soon, Sinan
I am a country kid (Adult actually) originally from Cowell, Eyre Peninsula, currently living in Whyalla doing Foundation Studies (continuing 2018). my main goal is to move to Adelaide somewhere close to the CBD to study at Uni SA (Bachelor of Business in Innovation and Entrepreneurship). i am currently renting a house, which i have my own furniture, crockery, fridge, organ, wardrobes, desk etc. I am introverted, bossy, music lover (mostly Thirty Seconds to mars, Breaking Benjamin, Red and other artists), book reader and collector, gardener (when i have tools to garden with, im pretty quiet and conservative when you first meet me but give me time and i will sass you and give you heaps of shit stirring (i expect the same in return respectively). i dont have many close friends (grew up on a farm, so my social skills are more like a hermit...i aint kidding), i very rarely drink any alcohol (dont have the inclination or the need for it), i dont do recreational drugs (not interested and they're a waste of time and money), i dont smoke (same as drugs). I will mention that i am loyal, caring, supportive, weird, funny, lovable, adorable, kind, motherly (in terms of if you were to go out to a party i want to know where you are (not that it matters, but it does help immensely) and when you will be home, so that if anything where to happen to you i know where to look and where you will be, some may find that overprotective, but for me its knowing that you are safe). I also forgot to mention that I INTEND to move 70-80% of my gear to Adelaide which involves my Queen bed, organ, crafts gear, fridge, kitchen homewares, crockery, books, clothes, coffee table, linen (sheets, towels etc), bookcase etc i hope you pick me.....i'd like to live in Adelaide and get out of regional Eyre Peninsula (basically i dont want to be a country bumpkin the rest of my life)
Hey there, I'm looking for a nice place to rent with one or two housemates close to the city (not too picky about the suburb!). I'm studying Law at Adelaide Uni and working two days a week out of town. I'm generally fairly quiet but always up for a drink and a chat. I love having a clean home and always keep things neat and tidy. I've been renting with housemates for the past two years and I'm keen for another year with some great new mates.
I (BB) am originally from Adelaide but have been working overseas for a travel company for a couple years now. I am back home to work at the fringe festival and would ideally like a furnished short-term place for the duration of the festival within walking distance of the Garden. I am great to live with because I'm super easy going, always down for a laugh yet mindful of other peoples space and maintaining cleanliness.
Hi I'm Mia, - I moved to Adelaide from Melbourne one year ago. - I'm single with no car, or pets and I don't smoke (but I'm fine with this - smoking and pets). - I don't have any furniture except a small desk for studying but it doesn't have to come with me if you already have one in the room (I'd prefer a furnished room). - I have a push bike that is quite valuable so I would prefer to keep it inside/undercover. - I'm social and friendly, I like to catch up with housemates and share a drink/meal every now and then. - I study law part-time at Adelaide Uni (two nights per week) and work also full time so I am always quite busy. Looking to move near Adelaide Uni. - Willing to pay up to 200 pw if this includes bills/utilities/internet & laundry facilities (without having to go to laundromat). - Price pw & length of stay is negotiable. I look forward to hearing from you :-)
Irish, 35, living in the U.K. since 2004 (university, then work). I'm coming to Adelaide to work as a doctor in Calvary Wakefield ICU until August so I'm looking for something for roughly 6 months. Interests include current affairs (you're more likely to find me reading an issues of the Economist than a medical journal!), travel (60+ countries so far; the usual popular ones plus some slightly left-of-field choices like Cuba, Lebanon, Armenia and North Korea!) and exercise (more a desire than an interest - definitely want to improve this a lot during my time in Adelaide but I like to play squash and swim). Looking for a fairly sociable space (but not party central) to move into - my last flat share with was with 5 others and had an average age of 28 to give you an idea! Also looking for a location close to the city centre or nearby with good public transport links. Non-smoker. Finally, I've been living in Edinburgh for the past 6 years so I'm really looking forward to comparing your Fringe festival to theirs!
Howdy future flatmate, I'm Grace and I'm seriously seeking out some independence. I lived abroad in France for a year in 2016 and have now spent almost a year back in the rents house in Adelaide. (Needless to say, I'm keen to move out again). Studying full time (enrolled for uni SA Bachelor of urban and regional planning) and working part time. I like having my own space and time to myself, but also would enjoy being a part of a friendly house that shares some time together. I’m considerate and clean and absolutely happy to help out around the house. I love animals but have none, however considering a fish (subject to whether I can keep a plant alive, tbc.) Relevant fun facts: Earliest move in date February 2018, I play no musical instruments, have a car but would prefer to use public transport or walk (if convenient), vego-curious, spends some nights at boyfriend’s place, would like to improve my cooking skills, Irrelevant fun facts: I speak fluent French, love standup comedy, don’t like sitting on public transport when its busy, enjoy skyping friends abroad, and known for being indecisive but working on it :) My year abroad gave me experience in house sharing (so not a complete amateur). I'm not really looking for a party house but i'd like to feel comfortable having friends around. I’m super keen to find a good fit and for this experience to work out well for everyone involved. Overall, I’m uber accepting of others an I’m just looking for an easygoing household to be a part of. Look forward to meeting you! Grace xx
I'm a 26 year old from Adelaide working full time in the lead up to the festival season. Looking for somewhere to feel homely during the busiest time of the year! Flexible and open to any household situations, would be great to team up for the short term until the end of March if possible :)
I'm a emerging artist, looking for some where to live close to the city. I am quiet and considerate of my actions, keeping noise down or noticing when to give someone their space. I have my own furniture I can bring if needed. I even have some nice couches and tv table if you're wanting to furnish the house. I don't mind being given tasks on the spot, especially if it's a challenge. Been told by friends that I'm humorous, sensitive and focused.
I'm a 23 year old engineering graduate from Brisbane. I've landed a graduate position in Adelaide and so am moving down permanently. I'm a quiet, tidy person, and I generally keep to myself, but I'm always up to hang out, or have a night out if the occasion arises. As a housemate I'm clean and tidy, and I'm very easy-going. I'm looking for a place around the north of Adelaide and for flatmates that are like minded young professionals such as myself.
I'm an international student from Hungary (overseas postgraduate and qualified vet nurse), studying currently business, and working part time. I'm quiet, respectful and tidy. I have been a vegetarian for 23 years and I am a cat fan. I'm looking for a furnished room all bills included max. $160 (reliable internet connection and hot water are important for me) close to Brighton as I'm not driving at the moment. I want to live with 1 or maximum 2 tidy and respectful housemates (female(s)!!). If I'm not answering your message, it means the room/place you are offering, isn't suitable for me. (Because I got some messages: Sorry, I'm NOT offering a room on here.)
I'm moving from Melbourne to Adelaide to study full-time at UniSA. I'm looking to rent a room for a few months while I find my feet, get to know the different areas and find a place of my own. I'm a pretty quiet person! My hobbies are knitting, reading and binge-watching Netflix. I don't drink, smoke or party. You're much more likely to find me at a knitting group than a pub :) I would prefer an unfurnished room, as I have all my own bedroom furniture. I also have two bookshelves and a large dresser with hutch. I would be happy to store these in a shed/garage/whatever if your room is already furnished. Ideally, I'd love to bring my dog over with me. She is a medium-sized dog who absolutely loves people and gets along well with cats, rabbits and other small animals. However, she can stay with family in Melbourne if your house is not pet-friendly. I hope to get to meet you soon!
I'm easy going and friendly, and love playing sport, exploring the outdoors, music, markets and food. I'm moving from New Zealand to do my final year of engineering at UA and ideally looking for a group of social students! Quotes from previous flatmates: "Never wears matching socks" "regularly cleans the kitchen with a precision and focus not dissimilar to what you might expect from your granny" "Is (disappointingly) half Australian and will have the lingo down in no time" "would recommend solely due to her brownie making skills"
