*Looking to move in August* Hi! I'm from Adelaide. I moved to Melbourne on February this year to start a Masters degree in speech pathology at the University of Melbourne. I also work part-time as a teacher’s aide. Unfortunately my contract in Kensington is ending in August so I’m back on the search for a room. I'm hoping to find a friendly, warm sharehouse near the university with housemates that value their privacy but are interested in getting to know each other and hanging out. My passions in life are sleeping, reading, patting dogs, street art, and Maccas runs. I studied linguistics in my undergrad degree and am really interested in languages. I really enjoy travelling and have been lucky enough to study in and visit different places in the South Pacific, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. During my travels I've stayed with a bunch of different (sometimes weird) people in a bunch of different (sometimes weird) places, so I'd like to think I'm pretty easygoing and able to get on with people. :)
I'm a 25 y/o graduate architect working full time in Fitzroy. I like to spend my evenings and weekends out with friends, frequenting art galleries or going hiking! I've been in share houses for the past 6 years so I know the drill. I would prefer to find a home where everyone is independent but would enjoy sharing the occasional dinner or glass of wine after work.

Or western suburbs closer to the city I am 33 year old professional working 9 to 5 in the city .respective of privacy hygenic and always paid rent on time I have a 8 year old friendly German Shepard who lives outside during the day and prefer he sleeps in my room. I've recently moved to Melbourne from Sydney seeking a share house with other young professionals. I've been living in shared housing for the past 6 years with up to 8 other people so I'm very good are shared living but now I'm looking for something smaller. I moved with work and work full-time in the CBD with slightly long hours and weekends off. I like dancing, rock climbing, books and I twirl fire (outdoors) to unwind. I would prefer a social house as I'm trying to get a life going down here. I don't smoke or have pets but if you do that's fine. I'm ready to move immediately but could wait until about June 30 for the right people and location.
I'm relatively quite and laid-back so I'd prefer a peaceful place, but I do enjoy a good conversation. I'm very clean, tidy, respectful and dedicated to doing my fair share of house chores. At home I'm usually behind my laptop writing/blogging and/or watching movies so wifi is essential for my survival.
Hi There, I am a current VU student, and I also work part time. I really enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, however, I don't push myself on anyone. I really enjoy my own space and I respect that other people need theirs as well. I am very domesticated as far as cleaning, cooking and managing day-to-day house-hold chores go. # Looking for a friendly/respectful house-hold with mature minded and easy going people. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi I'm Laura, 26, female, Aussie. Currently work 25 to 30 hours in retail but am looking for work as a phlebotomist (taking blood) as I just finished my Pathology Collecting certificate. Currently live alone renting a small studio which has been great but would like to share again to help pay off my course and just generally to save as I want to travel again and to probably do more study in futre as well. I've lived in share houses before and am considerate of other people, like to keep things clean and tidy and am friendly but usually keep to myself. In spare time i like to keep fit, read or watch something, get outdoors, go for dinner/drinks with friends etc. Got a table and couple other things i could bring if the place needs it. Ideally looking for an inexpensive roomshare not too far from the CBD but am open to ideas. Get in touch if you think I'd be suitable! Cheers.

I’m an aspiring actor working in hospo to pay the bills. I’m clean and tidy but not a Monica. Big fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race and cheap bubbly. I’m always down for a chat and a drink, but also value my own company and work a lot so I won’t be home all the time. My current lease ends 22nd june so ideally I’d like to move in around then, but if I find the perfect house & housemates I’m open to moving in sooner. Most of all I’m a considerate person and very easy going 🤗 (& can sneak you drinks at work) x
Hello! I'm originally from San Francisco, USA and am now a vet student at the University of Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I'm quiet, clean, and respectful. Definitely not a party animal, but I enjoy a nice glass of beer or wine at the end of the day. I do like having my own space at times, but would also like to have flatmates that I can have a friendly chat with now and then. I do have a cat, and although he's a bit of a scaredy cat and might hide out in my room a lot, I'd like to find a place where he can be part of the household. I'm fairly flexible with location, as long as it is relatively easy to get to Melbourne Uni. My move-in date and preferred length of stay are also flexible.
Hey there, I'm Adrian. I'm a young clean and respectful person looking for a room. I'm quiet and enjoy my own company, but I'm always up to hang out and have a chat. I'm currently not working as I recently had a serious accident and I am still recovering. All though I'm not working I do have a consistant income and I'll always pay the rent on time, I plan on returning to the work force very soon. I look forward to meeting you, cheers.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 31 and I run my own graphic design business (got a new office), and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. I MAY NEED EXTRA STORAGE SPACE, SO I AM LOOKING FOR ONE ROOM in a sharehouse. I would prefer a sharehouse which is fairly clean, inhabited by working adults, not students. My budget is about 200. I would consider sharing an apartment if it is modern and well-insulated. Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville/Kensington/Seddon/Spotswood. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour. I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but I'm not your psychologist! Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would prefer to share with maximum two other people, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 200 per week, preferably inclusive of bills. I would only be using the room for sleeping at night/extra storage. I am very busy during the day at my office. To summarize, I am looking for one bedroom in a non-complicated, small sharehouse for extra storage. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
