I am a full time high school teacher who has recently moved to Melbourne from Queensland. I am clean, social and easy going. I am respectful of other peoples spaces because I would like them to be able to respect my but I enjoy a decent conversation and the ability relax in front of the television with a beverage every now and again. I am looking for people to live with who share similar qualities and who are willing to teach a new comer about this wonderful city.
Hey hey :) Relocated from Brisbane for work (Account Management/Marketing). Into a bit of; Sports, Music, family, friends, good food/wine and the rest of it. Obviously hoping to move in with some friendly/lovely people. I love my alone time but am always down for a chat. Respectful and courteous.. Clean and responsible. Not too big on massive nights out these days but love a glass of red here and there. Anyways, If you think I'd be a good fit for your household please don't hesitate to message and we'll go from there! Ps. I have preferences but a place anywhere in Melbourne would be nice lol. Cheers, James.
I'm from a big family, so I'm used to living with others. I'm moving from the country to a full time job in Melbourne. I'm clean and Hygenic. Coming from a big family and the country I learnt how to cook and work well with others, loosing my parents at a younge age has taught me to be reliable and responsible making me mature for my age. I'm respectful to everyone and love animals, also not allergic to anything! I
Hi flatties. My name's Rianna, I'm single, 25 and originally from the Gold Coast and moved down to Melbourne about two years ago now. I've got a relaxed, open-minded, positive, introverted, earthy vibe and easy to get along with and I'm also very clean, and don't have to be nagged or asked twice to do chores. Career: I have a few jobs! I'm the online content manager/videographer/editor of a company so I sometimes work from home, sometimes go to the office. I also work at Nike in the city and also film footy games on the weekend. On top of this I also like to keep fit by playing club-level AFL during the week and weekends which means my schedule is inconsistent and kept quite busy! Companion: I have a little 13 y/o Maltese x Shih Tzu (Cody) who is very clean and well-behaved and super quiet. He likes to hang out with whoever's home and sleeps a lot, and is always up for a stroll! He has adopted the term 'therapy dog' with his calm nature and fluffy long fur (he doesn't shed). He also loves cats and other little dogs. In saying that, I would prefer a small backyard for him. Fun: For fun and in my free time (when I get it) I like to take my pup for walks and watch movies on my laptop. I'd love to have flatmate dinners once a week and hang out and get to know who I'm living with and hear your stories! I don't drink and I go out maybe once every two months. Sometimes my female friends come over for sleepovers because I'm still into that. Would love to hear from you!
I'm Jenina - a postgrad journalism student at UniMelb. About me: I like books, theater, travel, and the occasional Netflix binge. I used to work in publishing and communications - plus a short stint teaching English! - before switching over to journalism. I'm tidy and would love a social household, but I can respect privacy as well.
I’m great company with flexible easy- going attitude. Work full time in the city so will be home in the evenings most nights. Love the arts and enjoy live music and the theatre. I also love to cook and would love some company over dinner for a chat or even watch a movie with some wine :-) I love animals and happy to live with one. I’m neat and tidy and quite enjoy cleaning. Looking forward to sharing with a few great people!
I am a full time teacher, living with 2 boys, full time businessmen; we like travelling, food (vegetarian) and fitness :) We are friendly, tidy, reliable and clean.
I'm an aussie viet kid with love of conversation and forming meaningful relationships with other people. In my spare time, I do Judo and Photography. I love going out to meet new people, and exploring bars and festivals around Melbourne. I work as a lifeguard for Yarra City, and study Computer Science at Monash. Incredibly clean and respectful, I'm non-judgemental and easy to get along with. I'm sure we'll get along swimmingly! ***I have a bit of a dust allergy however, so I can't stay anywhere that has carpet/pets/ducted heating. Other than that, all kosher!***
I am an easy going 29 y.o. guy, I am pretty active and always on the go. I enjoy movies, the gym, travelling and hanging with mates. I am very respectful of others, very clean and tidy, I am not boring but not a party animal either. I work full-time Mon-Fri (Mechanical Engineer). I also enjoy making new friends. Looking to move in with roommates of similar age. I will be able to do inspections during the weekend as I am tied up with work during the week. Cheers...
Hey! We are Lydia and Sean, a couple looking to start a new place (a house of three or four) at the end of July. We're hoping for a house that allows some kind of studio space for art and music projects. Here's a bit about each of us: Lydia: At the moment I'm studying a masters while also managing a cafe full-time. I'm generally interested in painting, jazz, shit jokes, and cooking - I'll tend to fill up my spare time with these things. An ideal home for me includes a backyard (veggie patch?), a space to paint and play piano, and a kitchen big enough to cook with friends sometimes. Sean: I'm a full-time landscape architect, and casual folk musician. I'm hoping for a house somewhere leafy, but close enough to commute to the CBD. I will often be practicing music [quietly(sometimes)], going to see live music, visiting parks and planning music endeavours. Suburbs we're thinking of: Inner North (Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds) Inner West (Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, North Melbourne) Ideally we'd like to pay less than 180 each per week, and are considering renting a second room/space within the dwelling for a study/music/art space. This could be a shared space amongst the household if you need a creative space too. We have plenty of furniture to begin the makings of a new house and can gather some essentials. We'd like a friendly and connected house dynamic, but one that upholds respect for personal possessions and spaces. We're both tidy and considerate, and intend for everyone we live with to feel very much at home. Can't wait to hear from you!
I'm currently working part time at a gym in the CBD whilst studying Sport Management/Business at Victoria University. I'm pretty easy going about most things so I'm pretty open to most living situations. I do like to enjoy myself and have a few beers on weekends but am definitely respectful of other people if they need a bit of peace quiet. I'm fairly busy throughout the week but I'll always have time to pitch in and do my bit around the house.
Hello all my name is Ryan, I'm 25 and I'm looking for a place to live. I work full time at EB Games Highpoint with my days off being Sunday and Monday. I like to spend most of my downtime in my room playing video games, watching Netflix or going out and socialising with friends. I prefer a room unfurnished as I own my own bed, desk and shelves. I have a introvert personality but I'm loving and caring once I've become comfortable in my environment. I like to think myself an open book and I'll answer any question honestly. I don't drive a house near public transport is a preference for me.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a home. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
Hello all! My name is Trenton Marable and I'm an engineering exchange student from America that will be studying at UniMelb this coming semester. I love many different outdoor activities, including: hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, water sports, ultimate frisbee, etc... I'm looking forward to exploring all the different parts (and food) of Melbourne so if you already know of places, or wanna tag along, that's a plus. I will definitely need to be studying a lot throughout the week, but will enjoy going out on the weekends. I will respect your space and expect you to respect mine, but that doesn't mean we can't hangout, get to know each other, cook together, and have fun sometimes. Location: Anywhere that you think I could get to the UniMelb campus from in a reasonable amount of time (you would know better than me). I'd prefer my own room, but would be open to sharing. I'm looking for flatmates that share somewhat similar interests, are down for an occasional spontaneous adventure, respect privacy, but also enjoy hanging and going out. If you think we'd get along, and have a place for me to stay, hit me up! If you have an iPhone, you can text me through iMessages, or just message me on here...
Hello Everyone, My girlfriend and I (+ one friend for approx 3 weeks) are looking for a temporary place this July/August as we transition from full-time nomads (caravan/housesitting) to responsible adults (homeowners). We'd stay in the caravan during this time except for two points: - It's a bit chilly - We'll have an overseas visitor staying with us and three's a crowd So, if you have a whole place, or a large room or two to sublet from approx 22nd July - 20th August and don't mind three women and two cats staying with you, perfect! We are experienced housesitters with some great reviews and police checks (from multiple countries!). We have two well-behaved indoor kitters who are used to other animals. Perks: We bring our own Wi-Fi, Netflix and a ute! Kellie makes a mean vegetarian chilli and is a great addition to any trivia team. Emilie will ALWAYS share wine with you and buy expensive cheese. Our friend Marie is super friendly, respectful and has a charming French accent. And besides from being the cutest fluffballs ever, our two cats also provide quirkiness and entertainment. We all love quality banter, yummy food and discovering new things but can also respect one's privacy and need for personal space. We have to admit we probably fall under the "too old for that shit" category for wild partying every weekend but would love to go explore good bars and music venues with you if suits your fancy. We are all non smokers. Downsides(?): Kellie will school you on the proper use of Physics Terms (she's an optical engineer) and Emilie won't be able to shut up if the conversation steers towards languages/linguistics (she's a translator). But don't worry, we can talk about other things than our jobs! Kellie works in Mulgrave, Emilie works from home, and we run a martial arts club in Footscray, so anywhere in the general vicinity of Melbourne will do. Cheers! Kellie and Emilie PS: If you have just one room available but a garden/driveway that could accommodate a caravan, that could work too! Then we'd move to the caravan and leave the room to our friend while she's visiting.
Hey! I’m healthy and love to exercise. I’ve been in the fitness and education sector for about 7 years. I love reading and personal development. I love to travel and explore. I am pretty easy going, but also very driven with my own goals. I am clean without being excessive, am always up for a laugh and a chat. I have gone back to studying full time this year while also working, and need to downsize while studying. Originally from the country (Albury).
Friendly and honest music student studying at the Australian Institute of Music. Bit of a scatterbrain, but post it notes and cork boards are my best friends. Must be okay with having trans occupants, but don't really want to move into an exclusively queer house. Furnished or unfurnished is fine, but I'd like to be able to put up a poster or two. I also currently work out of town every Friday.
