I work full time in the city as a Business analyst. In my spare time I love reading, music, taking long walks in nature, catching up with friends, playing scrabble, crosswords, cooking. I am respectful and neat, great company for witticisms but also love my own space and give others theirs. Not looking for a party house but a beautiful shared space to call home.
Hey! I’m Caity and I’m moving to Melbourne end of January! I’m looking for 6 months with potential to stay indefinitely if I like it. I’m a pretty flexible housemate and tend to match my style to the people I live with. I keep communal areas clean & tidy but am not going to nag you if you leave the dishes for a day or two. I’m a bit of a workaholic but enjoy my downtime over a glass of wine, baking, going to the beach/for a hike, or spending my days off watching Netflix. And I’m always down for a night out! I am after my own (unfurnished) room, preferably in a furnished house. I’d prefer my own bathroom but happy to share. I also bake cupcakes and cookies and you are more than welcome to help me eat them! Messages on here or text only please! (:
I was working for multinational companies before coming back to student life. I am an active, friendly and open-minded person who loves traveling and making new friends. I speak English and French. Since I’m currently studying Master course and work part-time then I do need a quiet and no-party place. I do respect other people, and have attention to cleanness, then expect flatmates having similarities. Flatmates who are professionals or students are mostly preferred.
Hi! I'm a Canadian student on exchange at Deakin for trimesters 1 and 2 (arriving February 2019). I'm studying Visual Art and Anthropology, love going to concerts, visiting museums, and going hiking when I have the time. I am easy-going andam great at respecting boundaries. I'm looking for a room near Deakin with an relaxed social environment that I can call home for the time I am studying abroad. My IG is tatipful.
Tom and I are a couple of English guys, just arrived in Melbourne and would love to find a nice house to settle in for the next few months while we work in the city. We’re clean and friendly, respectful of privacy and love our downtime but at the same time we love a laugh and would never say no to a drink or house night! Used to living with both guys and girls so either is great
Hello! I am a new PhD student of Swinburne Uni. I am a calm, easy-going, and tidy person. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace. I’m keen to meet and live with completely new people.
Hello! I am a young professional who is just about to start full-time work as a doctor :) I was born and raised in Melbourne and absolutely love this city. I am looking for someone tidy and respectable to share a home with. Ideal locations would be Kew or Balwyn, however surrounding areas would also be suitable. I love to be fit and active, read and spend time my family.
Chris is a student studying Computer Science in Melbourne and is working full time as part of his degree in 2019. Originally from Far North Queensland Chris has moved to study in Melbourne. After completing one on campus year and one year living in a tiny studio apartment, he's looking for a decent kitchen and a real fridge first and foremost. Generally keeps up with the uni activities and is pretty active on campus with events and clubs. Sociable and forms good relationships with roommates. Has a car and will need to park it somewhere. Also needs a desk to setup a productive working space. Chris would also prefer to have a furnished apartment, but would also be flexible.
Hello! My name is Jess and I’m from Phillip Island. I love to travel and have been living overseas in England for the past few years, returning recently so I can go back and finish my university course. Living overseas has taught me a lot, and I’m excited to be moving back to Melbourne soon to start a new adventure. I’m a very clean and organised person; and pretty relaxed to live with. I like to relax at home but also like to live somewhere where I can hang out and socialise with people at appropriate times. Whilst living in Melbourne I regularly will travel back to Phillip island to see my family, so I won’t always be around. I tend to keep pretty busy!
My name is Kevin and I'm from Boston, Massachusetts. I moved back to Melbourne 6 months ago after a 10 year break when I was previously living here. I am studying at RMIT and also have a job in the industry. I am clean, neat, laid back, and very easy-going. I like sports, running, and spending time outdoors. Work and school are priorities, but I like to be social as well as going out and having a drink. I have a passion for travelling and consider myself well-travelled. I have friends in the area, but I am always interested in meeting new people.
Hello, I am clean and tidy and love my cat. I don't do much so don't worry about me being a party animal. I am looking for a job (just finished VCE) and a place to live when I start uni. I am currently not heavily searching for a place as I first need to work out what uni I'm actually going to. Hopefully by that point I'll have a job. My cat is a bit of an asshole but you'll end up loving her.
I am coming back from an exchange in Amsterdam and I need a new place to live while I complete my final year of university! I am studying sustainability and environmental management at Deakin, Burwood. I had a casual job at McDonalds which I'm sure I will be able to get back, but if not, my centrelink payments and savings are more than enough to pay for my rent until I find a new one. I have lived in three different share houses since moving out at 18 and have always paid my rent on time. I am a very organised and clean person and I would like to share a house with just one, two or perhaps three housemates that also know how to clean up after themselves. I also have a pet snake, I always keep her enclosure in my room. I know that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of living with a snake, and if so I promise you will never have to see her.
Hi. I’m a clean, trouble free, quiet, intelligent recently separated man. I have many good aspects not the least that I am a trained chef (did it years ago but still quite an excellent epicurean specialty is healthy vegetarian meals) I need to find a temporary solution while I find a more permanent solution that I can rent on my own & have my kids come over (they won’t come over to the share house) I am generous & not a slob. Fit and healthy & youthful for my age.
Hey future flatmate! I’m a student at Swinburne and looking for a place to rent from mid February. I don’t drive or have a car so I’d like a place near a train station and I wouldn’t worry about the car parking space! Doing engineering (Book nerd I guess??? 😅) and super quiet. You wouldn’t even know I’m in the house. Very neat and even more organised (teensy bit OCD?) Would love to have someone to have a chat once in a while (that’s why I’m looking for a shared house rather than living by myself and end up being a cat lady in the future). I’ve been living in Melbourne for 3 years now aaand have been renting places this whole time! Hit me up if you think I’d make a great house mate (or should I say flatmate???) Umanga xxx
Hi, I am Meru, a 22y.o. Kazakh nomad girl roaming around the world =D Currently I am doing my Master's in Europe and as a part of studies I will visit Deakin University for 3 months at the beginning of 2019. Australia was a dream destination from my childhood, therefore I am too excited about my stay there. I like exploring everything new - places, people, knowledge, skills, etc. I am pretty easy-going person and can adapt for all life conditions :) I appreciate cleanliness(read tidiness) of my flatmates and respect interests of everyone. I don't have bad habits(no smoking, no alcohol) Too much to say, but in short if you are talkative, open, hangout type of person then yeah I can talk with you non-stop for hours and hours and join to go out, but if you are not so social and prefer quiet flatmates, well I will respect it as well. Oh yeah sometimes I immerse to studies and become almost invisible =D Thats pretty much it. The remaining we can always discuss!
