Hi! I'm Araminta (Minty) 23, easy going, love animals, music (so many gigs, so little time) and food! (Food-based adventures also good). I'm fairly laid back, respectful and love a casual drink/chat with just about anyone. I work 3 days a week doing PR/events in the CBD so access to a city bus is a priority. I also love walking, swimming and rock climbing so adventure buddies would be good! I do have metal plates in my legs which means I get around on crutches a bit, but am fully independent and don't need no man (or woman or child, really) to help me with most things. Just figure upfront is best 😊 I'd like to find a place ASAP so please message me if you think I'd suit yours 😊 Anyway, I hope to find some new housemates and look forward to meeting you!
Recently graduated engineer working in the CBD. Love to gym, play soccer and touch, cook and watch movies. I am neat, organised and great at dishwashing lol.
I'm a very laid back easy going person. I train Capoeira and like to spend my time relaxing with friends or heading outdoors. I prefer a tidy place with harmony and EQ. I'm a respectful housemate and will always pay rent & bills on time. I have a dog (Ziggy) & a cat (Dave) who are both a little older and house trained. I also have furniture I can bring with me: couch, TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and other odds and ends. I have some flexibility in locations and budget, but I really prefer to live with people closer to my age range: 30 - 40, and places that are neat and tidy. My ideal situation is a place that is tidy, housemates that are sociable but not party animals.
My name is Luke, I'm a 27 year old public servant. I also have a second casual job which I work at once or twice per week, and I'm studying history part time. I keep to myself a bit, but would still like to live with another person or a group of flatmates. I love a clean and tidy home, so I'm pretty good with cleaning etc. Love reading, the theatre, walking, watching movies and documentaries, good food and great conversation.
We are quiet, yet friendly. Always clean up after ourselves and are responsible with the property. Girlfriend goes to QUT in the city so looking for a place that makes her commute easy.
Hello, my name's Helen, I'm an Aussie girl in my 20's. I'm friendly, considerate, tidy, easy-going and quiet. Enjoy chatting but also am aware of personal boundaries. I don't smoke, own any pets or eat meat - but I am not phased at all if my housemates do :) I enjoy going to movies, nature walks, drawing, markets, learning about nutrition and playing my keyboard every now and then (with headphones ;) ) I have my own bedroom furniture and am hoping to find a harmonious household that I can call home for at least 6 months. Thanks for reading! :)
I am a 27 year old Masters student at UQ. I am from Fl, US (hold the Trump jokes, I am still coping haha). Looking for a laid back, tidy, and comfortable place to call home. I am interested in a single room, unfurnished, and with no more than 2 other housemates who are down to earth, responsible, and positive. I am a pretty laid back person, independent, yet social. If this suits you, I'd be greatly interested in scheduling a viewing. I am looking to move within the next week. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last two housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a nice day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
I'm a full time carpenter who's very clean and reliable. lives a healthy lifestyle during the week but doesn't mind a drink on weekends. Very sociable person who loves to make new friends. Very Social person, always up for a chat whenever I'm not in my room enjoying some time to myself. Always on time with rent and bills, no excuses. I love listening/playing a little music, going to gigs, having a drink and watching the footy. I can along with pretty much anyone as long as they pull their weight with bills, and keeping the house relatively tidy. Let me know if you're interested in knowing more. Cheers Legends!
We are a working full-time couple in mid 30-40. No kids, no pets, not much stuff, non-smokers. Considerate, quiet, clean and tidy people looking for a quiet corner (en-suite/granny flat/studio). We've been living in an en-suite in a share-house for the last year, — we were ok with it. The landlord just decided to rent the whole house out, so we have to find a new place. Room is not a problem. I'm 155 cm high and we're both quite fit, so two of us take as much space as some people alone :))) I cook 2-3 times a week, but without suffocating the whole house with garlic or anything like that and we hope to find a place where the fresh air is valued :) The budget is slightly stretchable depending on the location, furnishing and bills.
I'm an international student from Dubai and I will be studying Environmental Management at UQ from Semester 1. I was studying in the US at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. So yes, it's a big change. Looking for a place ASAP! I'm super easy and fun to live with. Am extremely neat and tidy, and love to keep my living space clean. Pretty decent at cooking too. I'm always ready to help a friend out. Will respect your privacy and space, as I would also like to get focused and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to hang out and watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I enjoy playing a lot of sports especially badminton, football, Quidditch (yes it's a sport and it's very intense) and cricket. Love exploring new places am ready to hike/walk any-and-everywhere. I'll be new to the place so I would love to go out and explore on the weekends, provided I have the time. Would love to live or team up with any of you wonderful people so do not hesitate to hit me up! :D Cheers, Abhi PS - The $250 p/w is my budget including utilities
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
I work in the city as a full time professional and play sport so am out of the house quite a bit. Ideally I would like a place (granny flat, studio, 1 or 2 bedroom) or a self contained room in a house. But I'm happy to share so long as I have a bit of space and privacy.
Hi, Im a 27 Yr Old single Aussie guy. I work full time as an Aircraft Technician in the Airforce, I just moved up to QLD from Adelaide and am keen to suss out the city and the social side it has to offer. I pride myself on being a clean person to live with and like being social with the people I live with. I've lived in a share house for the majority of the past 7 years... I also enjoy good whiskies / beers / wines, decent coffee and I love to cook. Only preference for a house / unit would be that I have access to a secure covered carpark. I have two cars which one of them requires to be undercover (if available). I have a full 2 bedroom unit worth if furniture and effects. Am happy to store/ sell them if required or utilise as well. Ideally Id like something on the long term basis, happy to sign onto a lease and can provide previous rental references if required. If you feel like I fit the bill then feel free to drop me a text or an email :) My Mobile is - oh for too for won for too six for too. Flexible with dates, preferable to have a few weeks notice (neg) and rent price is flex... Cheers, Mick
Hi, I'm originally from Melbourne and moved up to Brisbane 2 years ago. I'm friendly, easy going, and reliable. I'm a bit of a foodie, enjoy reading, long walks on the beach....etc haha, hopefully you get the idea. If you think I'd be a good fit for your humble abode, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Otherwithe I am a chill person who like to share beers or BBQ with friends. I really like domestic animals. I am also clean and tidy for shares area and take a bit more freedom for my own room cause I don't really like when all is perfectly well-placed. Thanks for reading! :)
I am friendly, easy-going and always clean up after myself! I enjoy meeting new people so I am looking to move into a house with some lovely people who share similar traits. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at UQ while working casually at Biome Eco Stores. In my spare time, I like to go to local farmers markets, drink coffee, pat dogs and chill out with friends. I'm also a vegetarian but I am happy to live with carnivores! I'm looking to move around the beginning of April but this date is negotiable :)
I'm a pretty easy going person. I'm a law graduate and work in the public service. I work full time in the city and go out most of the time when I'm not at work. I do need a car space - sorry, no on street parking. Happy to 'teamup' to get a good place. Send me a message for more info.
Hi my name is Lachlan. Work full time as an Air Force pilot and looking for somewhere in the toowong area. I have lived in share accomdation in the past and am quite comfortable living amongst others. I am also very sociable and would like to get to know potential housemates. I enjoy getting out most weekends and being active, going for cycles and getting out and exploring Brisbane. I already have furniture to furnish a room. Please contact me if you would be interested in having me move in.
Hey chaps, looking to move closer to UQ sometime in the next couple of months. I have a dog named Zuri. She's a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and is possibly the most polite/friendly dog in existence. If this isn't an issue id love to hear from you! I'm currently studying environmental management at UQ and work part time at Coles in Toowong. Cheers
Hey, Im looking to move in with some housemates who are keen to hang out but understand space, I try to keep clean and might be out a lot as I'm a full time undergrad zoology student at uq who has a bar job. I'm into hiking, grabing coffee and binge watching TV. I can bring a tv and wii to the table
I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others and their space. Easy to get along with. I work long days so not always home, but enjoy to be around other people when I am home. I'm from the UK on a student visa, have been here for 1 year already and visa is currently until December. Lease is up on the property I have been in for 1 year and looking to find somewhere new.
I am an honest and reliable person looking for somewhere relatively close to Soutbank where i am currently working. I respect others space but will always be up for a chat and always clean up after myself.
I am studying BArts/Journalism at UQ in 2017 but looking to transfer to BPPE in 2018. My hobbies are mainly creative, such as music and writing. If your a producer/musician looking for a roomie then your boy is ideal. I'd like to say I'm funny but so does everyone and I might suck at your niche comedy so you'll have to see. I like my alone time and respectful of others, as well as being a friendly dude.
I'm Jess 🎉 I love helping people, socialising and training, however I am extremely independent. I have strong ethics and I have been raised to work hard all my life. I'm energetic, I love looking after people (and myself) and I just love people in general. I work in a cafe in Central and I'm a trainee PT at my gym. I finish my Diploma of Fitness Coaching in October and am studying sports psychology at uni next year. Want to do sport-specific training in the future. I'm also a novice Olympic lifter. I grew up breeding, training and showing dogs (conformation) and I love all pets 😊
Hi, I am moving from Sydney to Brisbane for a new job. I am a 23 year old engineer who will be working full time. I am keen to meet new people and explore Brisbane. I can offer baked goods in exchange for good company. Ideally looking for a place in a share house with similarly aged professionals. Don't want a party house but would love somewhere social where flatmates get together for a meal or a drink. Cheers
I'm a neat and organised person who is not afraid to live with either males or females. I'm still new-ish to Brisbane and I like to explore and visit what is around. I tend to keep myself busy with work/gym and I intend to pick up studying again once I settle in a location. I enjoy a nice beer (or wine and cheese - cause you know - I'm a girl) on a Friday/Saturday night but don't be surprised if you see me binge watching Suits or Game of Thrones (Gotta rewatch it before the next season FYI) on the weekend. I can keep to myself or be your bet friend - Whichever you suit is sweet with me.
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained and clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook (once a souse chef), philosophize over a glass of wine and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place. Troy
My name is Joseph and I am a 24 year old male. I have been living in Brisbane for a year now and love it here. I'm employed and reliable when it comes to paying the rent. I'm also neat and tidy and very easy to get along with. I'm looking primarily in the Brisbane CBD/South Brisbane area
Hi Everyone! I am actually viewing this awesome town house on 173 sir fred schonell drive st lucia on friday 24th and looking for someone to apply for a 6 month lease with me if the property is nice. Google for the listing :) Im 32, have 2 part time jobs and study psych at UQ. Im pretty busy with my schedule, always up for a chat but i keep to my self a lot in my downtime so the house will be pretty quiet and I may not be around all the time Happy for a couple (will have to pay more than half) or another female. If you have furniture thats a plus :)
We are two friends (Dan, 26 and Kim, 22) looking for a share house near UQ as we both study there. We are really easy going, clean and always up for a chat and a beer but also enjoy our own space. We are looking to start a new share house or townhouse. Message if you have any q's!
I'm friendly and like to have a lot of fun but also respectful of privacy and study needs. I like to go to the beach, see live music, eat food and chill out. Looking for somewhere with chill vibes and housemates that can become new friends :-)
I am a laid back, very clean and tidy, fun loving and busy professional who enjoys downtime as well as being active and social. I am very courteous and am looking for people to live with who might like to do things together but also have their own lives and interests. I would also prefer to not live with couples, have my own bathroom and have a furnished property but am definitely open to otherwise if the property and people seem a good fit. I am flexible with move in dates from now until whenever suits best as I am happy to wait for an awesome blend of great place and great roommate. Am happy to answer any questions you may have so it you think it's worth a chat then let's do it! Thanks! And happy searching!
Single tidy mature male - I've spent most of my life in Brisbane and know it extremely well. I'm pretty much over my partying days and would prefer to be outdoors, climbing a mountain, going to the beach etc. I don't mind if people smoke so long as it's outside and not right near my window etc. Don't mind parties so long as everyone's privacy/rooms are respected. I work Monday to Friday around 8-5 and then I go to the Gym everyday and try and keep myself busy over the weekend, including family commitments such as visiting my grandparents. I am conscious about power and water etc and I don't like to leave computers/appliances etc on to save on bills. I like to keep everything neat and tidy to avoid large clean ups etc. Anything else, feel free to ask me.

I am a yoga teacher, looking for a quiet and easy going household to stay with. Not a party animal but definitely enjoy mingling with others. I am also looking for any place within the 2 zone of the Brisbane CBD. My ideal place would have a fully furnished room & covered or off-street parking if possible.
Hi my name is Hannah, I am 27, I work full time and am at uni. I am very friendly and social and enjoy a good conversation:) I have two little dogs who are very friendly and well behaved. I'm ideally looking for a long term rental or to team up with others to find a place. Send me a message if you'd like to chat :)
Hey people, I'm going to spend the next Semester at the UQ. I am 23, studying math in Munich and I am more or less done with my Masters. Therefore I'm just going to take some courses in which I'm interested in and continue to write on my thesis. I guess I am a comfortable person to live with - until now I just had great experiences with sharing a flat. I lived together with brazilians, germans, polish, americans, italians and portuguese. And with all of them it was a lot of fun! I would describe myself as open minded and interested in nearly everything. I love to do sports, talk to people, going out just for a coffee or a beer, etc. I've never been to Australia before but I studied for two Semesters already in Portugal and for one in the UK. Afterwards I worked in Washington D.C. for a professional soccer/football club. As you can see I just love new experiences and meeting people from all around the world. One of the reasons why I chose now to go to the other side of the world. ;) Richard
Student and part-time worker. I'm easy going, tidy and social - will bring good vibes :) Looking for a room for 150 or slightly more if bills included. Happy to jump on a lease if necessary (just coming out of one). P.s my pic is missing the bow tie!
Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm looking for flatmates to live with around the inner western suburbs! I am currently working full time as a Speech Pathologist, but also spend 2-3 nights a week studying my Masters degree at UQ. I am a very social person and will always make time for hanging out with my friends if the opportunity presents itself. Although I'm very busy, I'll happily squeeze in a drink or two on the weekends, and enjoy making/listening to music, playing netball, and wishing I was on my next trip! (I love to travel.. especially where there's snow and mountains). I'd like to think I'd make a great housemate - I'm clean, considerate, and always respectful of my surroundings. I take ownership of my responsibilities as a human, and would always pay bills on time/ensure my duties are always fulfilled! I also consider myself to be quite a relaxed person, and don't get too caught up on the little things (I try to see the big picture!), so although I'm clean and tidy, I don't get anal about things easily. I'm looking to share a house/apartment with like minded individual/s, open to making new a new friend :)
Hey, Ash here. I'm an 18 year old student at UQ, also working part-time. Pretty easy-going and very clean and tidy. I enjoy a drink (or nine), Netflix, board games, food, and a good dad joke. Always up for a chat but also enjoy time by myself to relax and study. Let me know if you think we'd be a good fit :)
My name is Bernardo. I am a student at UQ. Im a clean and easy going person and have had previous experience living in a shared flat. Im looking to move soon into a new place. Looking forward to hear from you!
Planning ahead for July! I'm an international student from Canada studying Pharmacy at UQ. I can be a pretty big introvert, which is great if you're looking for a quieter roommate. I'm by no means antisocial, but I mean the introvert part quite literally! I spend about 50% of my life on the internet, and will probably spend the other 40% on campus once the semester gets going. I know some folks are really keen on their roommate being their new best time - the last time I had a roommate in 2012 I was asked to leave because my roommate took it really personally! So ideally you really are looking for someone quieter and not a new life partner. I've been living on my own since then, but I'm pretty cost-conscious so my motivation here is really a matter of splitting rent. Ideally, it'd be splitting a 2-bedroom apartment with someone interested in staying for at least a few years (I'm just starting a four year program) but open to other arrangements for shorter periods of time.
Hello! I am looking for a room in Brisbane Inner Suburbs until the end of June 2017! I am a post graduate student at UQ (doing a graduate certificate in Business) where I plan on moving after I finish at the end of June. I have lived in Brisbane for 5 years (2011- 2015) where i completed my undergrad (Bachelor of Psychological Science) and I then spent 2016 travelling across Europe and parts of USA before moving back home with my parents in Cairns to work. I have just moved back to Brisbane and earnestly looking for a place to stay! I spend most of my time studying (a little sad I know) but if I'm not studying I'm going out to eat with friends or taking photos because I'm an avid photographer :) I'm quiet and easy going to live with. I can provide: myself, Sizzler's secret recipe for cheesy toast, and a large television. I'm looking for - any place in the vicinity of a bus that can get my sorry self to UQ and back for classes - a room large enough for a double bed even if there isn't room for much else (double bonus if it comes with built-ins) - Ideally only needed until end of June this year. - A place that I can park my car (it doesn't have to be an official garage/car port, just some place it isn't going to be towed away on da streets). My car is pretty tiny (it's a Nissan Micra) so it doesn't need much room. Unfortunately as I won't be staying in Brisbane for a year I can't get the street parking resident sticker permit for my car from the council so if there is restrictions on street parking in the street my car can't get around them - Any other street parking is completely fine by me though! I am also only looking for private rooms not shared rooms - thanks :)
Hi there! I guess I'm what you'd call a "young at heart" guy in his 30's. I'm an easy going full time professional, and when I'm not at work I'm usually training (4 nights a week), reading, or out socialising. I'm very respectful of others, neat and tidy, and drama-free. :)
Hi all! Myself and two other international students are going to be studying at the UQ this semester and are looking for housing and/or other UQ flatmates to live with. Ideally, we would prefer a place close to campus within walking distance or a short bus ride. We are in need of a place as soon as possible and are looking for a lease for 4-6 months, nothing longer. We would prefer 3 individual rooms, but are also open to having two people share one room and the other having a single room. Please reach out to me if you have anything available! Thanks!!
I am a student doing my masters at UQ. I am a very friendly and a social person who is always up for a chat. I love long walks on pleasant days and I can be a good gym buddy. I have a great sense of respect for personal space and privacy. I also like paying the rent and bills on time. I am a very clean person myself and like to keep my surroundings clean as well. I always clean up after the work is done. I'm not a great party person but up for an occasional drink. So I would prefer living with people who are not regular drinkers or smokers. I am looking for an apartment/ room in Toowong and Auchenflower. I also love team ups. Please feel free to contact me. :)
Hi! My names Jay-Marie, I'm 19 and looking to relocate from the sunny coast to Brisbane region within the next month or so. It'd be heaps sick if I could team up with a couple of groovy souls and find somewhere to make home but I'm just as happy renting a room also :) I'm pretty relaxed and usually get along just fine with everyone, super tidy and thoroughly enjoy sinking a few frothies, yoga, schnittyz, and a good nap. Hmu if interested :)
Hey! I'm a non smoker, social drinking, easy going person who enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, shopping, watching movies, and being creative. I am currently in Victoria, but looking to move back to the sunshine coast or to brisbane. I am interested in an all girl's sharehouse, and I would need a home that allows me to have my very cute, friendly Maltese dog named Molly! I am clean, respectable and mostly an introvert until I feel I click with a person with similar interests and personality 😃
I’ve just returned from 5 months travelling around Central and South America (yes, finding myself now I’ve hit my mid-twenties) and I am moving back to Brisbane to start work full time as a grad lawyer. Prior to my travels I completed a double degree in Arts and Law. Will I be a good housemate? Yeah. Well of course I would say that, but I think it’s true. I’ve lived in plenty of sharehouses and value highly the importance of cleaning up after oneself. I make a mean curry, lasagne, quinoa salad and Mexican fiesta, which, if you time your presence right you might be lucky enough to delight in ☺. Things I enjoy outside of work… being outdoors and active, strolling about art museums pondering the big and little questions in life, smelling fresh air when I can get myself surrounded in nature (eg, bushwalking, hiking, swimming at the beach), gathering fresh fruit and veggies from weekend markets and cooking up a creative storm, playing soccer with my mates, meeting new/interesting/quirky people (I call them value-adders).
Hey! I'm Zara. I've recently decided that living alone is a little boring and lonely and I am looking for social and out going people to live with. I've been a social worker for three years (permanent employment :)) and i work with teenagers in a high school, so i reckon i can share some funny stories. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy good company, although i love my own space too. I am an experienced renter and like to think i can live with almost anyone :)/ Rent will always be two weeks ahead, and i'll always make sure the bins are out :)
G'day, I'm Dave, easy going, civil engineer, enjoys the gym, having a laugh and a beer on the weekend. I work in Milton but live on the coast and driving to and from the coast daily is painful to say the least. Which is why I'm on here looking for a sweet place with decent people. I'm very clean, tidy, respectable and know when to be quiet ha.
Hi everyone, I'm a soon to be 21 year old student about to enter my final year. I'm seeking a new share house with a group of relaxed people around my age. I'm quiet and relatively keep to myself but don't mind a chat and a few cheeky beverages if that's your thing. Most of all I know how to operate cleaning materials which means I clean up after myself and the best part is I always pay rent on time. What's not to love? Feel free to contact me!!! Really desperate to find a place before the commencement on the university semester! Thanks
