A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I consider myself a kitchen ghost. Meaning, if I do things right, you won't even know I've been there. I like to clean as I go, and anything I leave out will be gone as soon as I'm finished with it. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. He also has a big ol' desk attached to him, so I always worry that it won't fit in places. Looking to move as soon as possible, but the real final day I have is 18th of July before my current lease ends, which is convenient for this site's whole '30 day plan', so if you're in no hurry, I'm not really in a huge one either, although I do like jumping on things sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a super good day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
I'm 28 yeas of age. Single and full time professional. Just recently accepted a promotion in Ipswich. looking for share accomodation until i get used to the area. I'm a hardworker, always at work! I keep to myself you'll rarely see me. That's just the way I am :) but I'm always down for a chat I love cars, food and like minded people. Im a labourer. My partner Jamie is an it guy :) he's the same as me, sticks to himself and always working. We are happy friendly well mannered people :) Only available Saturday/Sunday. And our budget is $350. Considering we'll never be home, we think that's a pretty decent amount. We won't go over that, there's no reason. But thanks for all the offers for $450 etc. But we aren't interested I'm pretty much looking for someone who is chill but will do their own thing. I don't talk much I'm just in and out doing my own thing as I'm busy most days and it's hard for me to stop and have full on conversations 😂
Easy going, quiet and considerate, hardworking tradesman from Sydney. Like my recreational activities and sports like golf dirt bike riding pool and bowling...thanks
Hi I am a clean easy-going house mate, non-smoker. I am studying full-time and working part time. Looking to live with friendly housemates easy to chat with have a drink with on the weekend. However have their own life at the same time Not looking to live in a party house or with people with alcohol or drug problems. Looking for a home not just a place to sleep. Prefer to live with people who have busy active lifestyles. Not couch potato's or people who sit at home 24/7. Looking for a furnished place.
I work full time as a Database Administrator in the city. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music. Enjoy computer games although it's mainly super Nintendo and the wii. I like to think I'm easy to get along with. Enjoy a few drinks and a laugh. I enjoy board games especially connect-4 haha. I enjoy horror movies mostly. I watch them on my ipad with my ear phones so if you hear a blood curdling scream.... do not be alarmed :P. Prefer to live in the Toowong area but not entirely necessary. I now walk to and from work so 5km within the city would be awesome! Car port would also be a bonus
Hi all, I'm an outgoing and tidy person and while I am content on my own (relaxing in my room watching a movie/doco, reading, gaming) I prefer to be part of a household with other clean and outgoing people where a conversion can spark up. I enjoy dining out, cooking and relaxing with a drink and nibblies. I work full-time for Suncorp Bank in the CBD (7 years), non smoker, been renting since high school, like pets, no allergies, happy to help with chores/maintenance.
I'm currently on the hunt for a room to rent with girls or guys around my age. I'm really easy going when it comes to day to day living and treat others as I would like to be treated. Always friendly, bit of a social butterfly but also appreciate 'me time' 21, originally from Mackay QLD and looking for a fresh lease on life. I work a full time job which is 40 hours per week mon - fri (administration) I enjoy social bevs on my weekends and spend a lot of time with my family so I'd be almost ghostly when I have time off, unless of course we hit it off and become great friends. I like adventuring to new places and meeting new people. A through and through music lover of all genres, adore makeup and beauty and enjoy time on social media platforms, looking for all round chilled vibes, really. Basically just easy going. I'm a clean cut person when it comes to hygiene and would like to live with someone who also takes pride in their belongings and surroundings. Happy to respond to emails from people who are willing to rent a room to me. I will be ready to relocate in around 1 months time. Look forward to hearing from prospective flatmates, cheers.
Hey everyone! I'm a student from the Italian part of Switzerland. I'm going to get to Brisbane on July the 10th for a semester exchange (4 months) at the UQ. I'm doing a master's degree in geography (development and environment). I'm easygoing, open-minded and clean. I like doing outdoor activities and while in Australia I want to visit the country as much as possible! I like having my own space but at the same time I enjoy having dinner together or chatting over a drink. I'm not a party animal but I love going out with friends on the weekends. Cheers :)
Hi! My name is Zoe and I am (hopefully) about to graduate from UQ in July with a bachelor of engineering. I start work full time late July in South Brisbane and am keen to live somewhere either within a 40 minute walk to the office, or within 5-10 minutes of a train station. I'm not a party animal, but I don't mind a drink or two after work to unwind, or the odd night out with friends. I'm also not a clean freak but I do clean up after myself and keep common areas especially tidy. My ideal flatmates would be down to earth people (students or workers) who I can have nice chats with, but who also respect my privacy (mostly after a particularity long day at the office). My minimum length of stay would be six months but would definitely consider extending this for the right flatmates/house :)
Hi Guys Im starting my masters at UQ in july, I'm easy going, clean and respectful of others space but I also love occasional hangs/ fun night out and hope to find some people with similar interests to live with, preferably girls
I am a student at UQ looking for a place to live. I am from India and moved to Brisbane a year ago. I am soft-spoken and kind, and respect other people's privacy. I will make sure I keep the place clean and leave no mess behind. Living with me won't be a problem for anybody :) Hit me up
Hello! Looking for short term accommodation for approximately two months from 3/08. We are both working professionals, both full time in the city. We are clean, tidy and easy going room mates.
I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
I'm working two jobs one during the day and one a night, so I'm not gonna be one of those 18 year olds stumbling in your door in early hours of the morning because I've got no time, I'm clean friendly and have a very vibrant personality! I work two fulltime jobs so I have a stable income :)
I am considerate and tidy. I enjoy having a chat and hanging with my housemates but also like coming home to a quiet house too. I am wanting to move closer to my work place in Milton (I sell snow holidays) and where I can cycle to where I want to go, and also have access to public transport. During my weeks I run, catch up with friends, read, watch netflix and often on my weekends I will head out of town to go for a hike or camping trip.

Hi people! I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious, hardworking and a total professional but most of all fun to be around over a beer, some buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! I'm also well travelled having lived in New York for just over a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm a researcher looking for a chill place with easy going, fun grownups. I'm respectful, compassionate, clean, mature considerate and have a positive attitude. I'll probably never sing for or at you, but maybe with you if you’re really bad at it. I'm calm, easy going and diplomatic but still principled and passionate about life. I try to live a healthy lifestyle with good food, good wine and exercise, riding, climbing, hiking, jogging. Interested in politics, science, sociology, music, art, technology and everything in-between Looking for a place and where we can at least occasionally enjoy interesting banter over a drink, a cool meal or maybe even a dinner party:) If I could be what you’re looking for, it’d be cool to hear more about you guys and see your place.
