I was born in Vietnam and I moved to France when I was 8. Now I'm 27, I decided to travel this year with a Working Holidays Visa in Australia to have new experiences and opportunities. After 4 months of farm work in order to validate a 2nd years of visa, I travelled in Asia during 20 days and finishing with 1 week of visiting in Brisbane. I really like this city, that's why I intended to stay here until the end of my visa which is in may 2020. I'm still looking for a job at this moment and also a share house to make new friends and visiting more this beautiful city. I will love to share my joy of life with my new roomates by going out or just chilling at home. I'm a very easy going person who can bring some sparkles into your life but I also know when I should leave your personal space.
Just completed my degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy, will be working full-time in Paddington from January. Tidy, fun professional. Love the gym and play acoustic guitar for fun. Always up for a good chat.
I work in hospitality. I just finished a double degree at uni and am looking to get into full time work next year. I am originally from The NT. I am pretty tidy and quiet. Looking for a place with like-minded people with a similar lifestyle - uni or working!
Hey, I’m Sarah I’m a 25-year-old veterinary technologist. I currently work full time job in an exotic animal hospital in Jindalee and am studying marine biology full time I am looking for a share house or studio/ granny flat, with fun, outgoing people of a similar age :) (23-28) please do NOT contact me if you are older than this as I wish to live with people my own age, ideally not couples either sorry. I own my own bedroom furniture so would prefer to move in somewhere that isn’t a furnished room looking in areas around brisbane from the city to jindalee. Ultimately just seeing what’s out there at the moment if you think you have something that meets my criteria send me a message. Thankyou
Hi! I'm Anna, I am 24 and will be moving to Brisbane in late jan/ early Feb 2020 for an full-time professional job in the city. I am after a place that has good access to the city but is in an quiet street/ complex or an person who would like to team-up with me to find something similar :) I am a social person but rather than parties I prefer a quiet drink with mates. I love dogs, I own a chocolate labrador so most weekends I will be visiting him at my parents place . I'm also a food enthusiast, love a good cook-up but also keeping things tidy! I clean up after myself and enjoy a clean household. I'd love to be good friends with my house mate but don't want the place to be party-central every weekend. However, I am quite happy to go out to socialise or have a wine or two at home.
Hi! My name is Michael. I'm a full-time uni student studying Human Services at QUT. I'm also a certificated child worker currently working at an after school care. I'm from the U.S.A but moved to Brisbane four years ago with my parents. Both of my parents now live in Sydney.
I'm looking for somewhere in the Brisbane area for myself and my 6yr old Kelpie Bessie. I'm 22, and work part time at a cafe. I'm originally from NSW but moved to Queensland 4 years ago for the lovely weather! I have all my own room furniture including kitchen items. I've rented on my own for 2 years and flat-shared for a year with a few different people. I do also have some furniture in storage (couch, fridge, washing machine) that I could bring with me if you wanted! My flatmates are moving so I'm now looking for somewhere new! I enjoy going for walks with Bess, yoga, cooking, reading and have recently started Jiu Jitsu classes. I'm friendly and clean, and also respectful of personal space. When I'm home although I tend to be quiet and keep to myself, I love a good chat. :) Bessie is a rescue and as such is very timid to begin with. I hope to find somewhere it's okay for her to stay inside as she is most content to be curled up on my bed when I'm not home, although she often comes with me if I'm not at work or uni. She gets along with dogs of all sizes but unfortunately has a phobia of cats. I'm looking for somewhere with a secure yard as Bess is flighty and if a gate is left open she will bolt and not look back. She is very well toilet trained and I have never had her make a mess inside in the 3 years I've had her. Once she feels comfortable she is very friendly and loves a good pat!
Hi! I'm Georgia, I'm back in Australia after living in the UK for a bit over a year and looking to move back to Brisbane soon! My move date is flexible because I plan to do agency nursing once I'm back in Brisbane. I like to have a clean shared living space and enjoy being social and having friends over occasionally for cheese and wine or a BBQ. In my free time you can find me researching the next restaurant I want to try, at the pool (only looking to move somewhere with a pool!) or on a day trip to the coast!
Hi! In February 2020 I'll be moving back to Bris to start my Master at UQ. I'm sociable and easy going, but still enjoy my down time. I'm looking for an open, comfortable home, with an outdoor entertaining space, and preferably located within walking distance of a park/ the river/ greenery. I've previously lived in share houses for 3 years while doing my undergrad in Brisbane, so I'm no stranger to how it all works :)
I am studying my final 6 months of my Bachelor of Business degree at QUT. As well as uni I work part-time as a student support officer. Originally I am from Far North Queensland and have shared-houses for 2 years (since living in Brisbane). I respect a clean place, friendly roommate/s as well as someone who respects my personal space at times. Happy to team-up and find a place as well. Preferably I am looking at a place with a bedroom, bathroom and carpark to move into in the middle of January- however, am flexible.
G’day. My trainee service dog, Enza, my cat in need of a service, Indy, and myself, are searching for a house in Petrie Terrace, or the surrounding suburbs. I come bearing the dumbest of tattoos, oddly symmetrical piercings, and several cartons of beer. While Enza cannot be denied tenancy because of her service dog status, she is a Kelpie x Labrador, so a relatively large, and secure yard is a must. Indy, the cat, however, does not care about anything, including me, so he would be happy with a cardboard box. Both animals are well socialised, and friendly to other animals, and people alike.
