I am an active, easy going person who loves to socialise and meet new people but I also appreciate time to myself. My living space remains tidy and I make sure to clean up after myself. I am originally from Cairns and moved down in February so I love the outdoors! Outside of study I am reading, running, playing sport, waterskiing, eating, camping, maybe having a few drinks with friends or trying something new.

Hiya, my name's Matt and I'm an environmental campaigner/outdoors + fitness lover/meditator (is that a noun?) /writer and all around chill person. I love meeting new people and being let into their lives, but also enjoy peace and time on my own as a flipside. Always up for a laugh and a chat, have a few board games if you're into that :D Super into talking about society, philosophy, inequality, politics, memes, Game of Thrones, my constant existential dread, watching the new Queer Eye, undertaking wholesome activities like writing, painting, making poetry, and my fight and expertise on climate change. I'm moving up from Melbourne to Brissy on Aug 30, and am really excited to find a new place and make some new friends - this is an exciting fresh start for me. I'm pretty darn clean and very respectful, but not overly fussy. Give me a buzz if you think I might fit your place :)
Hey! I'm a young professional working in the city. Looking for change of living style that's still within the same area, close to work. I'm friendly, easy going, flexible and approachable. I keep myself busy with work, family, friends and trying to keep active, but hoping to find housemates I can enjoy an unwind with at the end of my day! (Ideally at this looking for somewhere with a flexible arrangement end of the year due to my work contract - likely I'll be able to look at staying longer however.)
23 y/o who's just moved over recently from NZ, have just found work and am ready to live not on a couch. I'm a musician (who tries his best to be quiet) who would love to live with like minded creatives but also just nice people. Always down for a wine and yarn on a deck after work. Pets are highly beneficial.
Hi I'm Tayen, I'm a 27 year old student who just returned from 6 months exchange in Denmark. I have a strong hospitality and retail background so I'm great with people. I'm pretty easy going, creative, clean, happy and I like to socialize and cook. I like to have friends or family over for dinners or a few casual bevvies every now and again. I like trying new things and I like to be able to have a chat or hang out with my housemates on occasion but I don't want to be living in each others pockets. I'm looking for a relaxed household where everyone is respectful of each other but also likes to have fun and a bit of a laugh. I like hanging out on the internet, watching tv shows and movies, playing the occassional gaming console, going out every now and again, arts and crafts, festivals and lots of other things. I'm looking for easy going people who are clean and friendly and don't mind socializing on occasion. I'm also looking for people who don't mind if I have friends and family come and stay on occasion and people who like to have bbqs and the occasional drink. Relaxed, friendly people who are reliable with bills and like to have a laugh.
Hi, I'm Filip Me and my partner Claudia are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane. Claudia is from the Gold Coast and has lived and studied in Brisbane. I am from Stockholm, Sweden and has lived in Australia for a year. Both of us are social outgoing people who enjoy spending time with others. Respect for others is something we highly value. I work in the family business with flooring. Claudia is a journalist/copywriter. On our days of we enjoy spending time with the family or catching up with friends and enjoy some drinks and food. Since having roots in Portugal, Claudia (and I) enjoy good quality food. Even so BBQ in the backyard. When we get in the right mood we might go away for a couple nights of camping or hiking. But on a rainy day we don't mind sleeping in and having a day with TV-shows or games. Thanks for reading
I have just moved back from Melbourne and am studying sociology/religion at UQ. I also work part time at Pottery Barn on James st. I get up early for rowing and usually go to bed pretty early too; I’m pretty quiet and really easy going. Not a lot phases me at all.
I’m a full time ballerina that’s a warm, fun and quirky gal. A neat freak so definitely nice and clean. Great cook and have a big passion for health and fitness. Always want to make people feel comfortable and welcomed but also conscious and respectful of people’s space and boundaries. Currently living in brisbane but needing to move out and looking for a fresh start !!
In my spare time, outside of the ordinary, I tutor university students on a private basis, trade online, read and occasionally unwind by playing games. During summer I’m always keen to get outdoors and down to the beach, I certainly love backpacking overseas too. I’m clean and happy to put into the house I’m a part of but most importantly want to get to know those around me – Being a part of a house with a somewhat social atmosphere would be cool. Overall, I’m wanting to move into a place that is a bit better value for money than where I am, while still being within riding distance to work, with some (hopefully) great people!
Hey! I'm Alfonso, but I usually just go by Alf. I am an Australian born 19-year-old, sociable and fun loving guy, I work as a bartender at Cloudland and at Jimmy Rods. I’m pretty quiet during the day (generally just trying to catch up on sleep due to long working hours) But I'm quite sociable and I get along with pretty much everyone, as well as providing quality banter haha! I’m looking to move out ASAP, I have all of my documents and money in order and I would be delighted in having a chat about future possibilities! Cheers!
Looking to move closer to the city and closer to work in Indooroopilly. I work full time and study writing at QUT. I am very clean, like to keep to myself mostly and am busy, but do enjoy company and cooking and hanging out with others. I have all my own furniture to furnish a whole house and two bedrooms.
Hi! I’m looking to move from Sydney up to Brisbane in September. Ideally Indooroopilly area (within 10 minutes drive) to be close to friends. I am looking for either: - somewhere I can live for at least three months, possibly longer term if we get on well, as I plan to stay in Brisbane for at least two years. - start a new sharehouse in a house with a big fenced yard, aircon, modern kitchen and bathroom, for 12 months I’m very chill, easy to get along with, tidy, I don’t make a lot of noise, and like to keep to myself most of the time. I like country music, watching Netflix, and finding fun things to do with my dog. I’m not much of a partier anymore but I don’t mind a quiet drink. My biggest flaw as a housemate is probably that I smoke (outside only), though I am very considerate about it. I’ll be doing temp/contract work so I won’t have a consistent schedule. The most important thing to know about what I am looking for in a home is that I have a 1.5 year old female Great Dane named Winnie, who is like my shadow, and she needs to be able to sleep in my room, and have a back yard with a decent fence (1.5m or taller) where she can hang out with her toys when I work. Her vice is that she likes to escape. She’s toilet trained and has a great nature - she will absolutely steal your heart - but she won’t follow commands unless she knows you have a treat in your hand. She has never destroyed or damaged anything that is not explicitly given to her though. I would love for Winnie to have a doggo friend to keep her company during the day. My current housemates have lots of animals, so Winnie has lived with three German shepherds, a kelpie, two cats, two horses, and a snake. Winnie is used to living with other dogs, so if she is the only dog in the house I would be looking to adopt another dog to accompany her. I also have a pet snake - a carpet python called Legs. He might go to live with a friend of mine though. He pretty much just hangs out in his tank. He’s a chill dude. Please contact me for further info.
Soon to be starting full time study at UQ, so would like a quiet space. Although I'm generally quiet, I do enjoy good conversation and am quite social. Love to travel so am often away in my campervan with my wee pet rat Gigi for company.
I will be starting full time work in Feb 2019 as an accountant. I am a friendly and sociable person who loves hanging out with my friends but also loves some alone time! I love sport and fitness and typically have netball commitments around 2-3 nights a week. I'm a big traveller and love going on adventures with friends. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city with good public transport options. If we sound like a good fit, would love to have a chat :)
I'm a Brazilian student and worker part time. Actually I'm starting a new course in Hospitality area. I really enjoy talking to my flatmates and preparing meals together, but I also like to have my time alone and respect the time and privacy of others. I really enjoy a quiet, clean and cozy environment. I am looking for a place like this to stay for a long period, a place to really feel home.
Hi I am clean and easy to live with, looking for a place near my work as I have recently lost my license :). I work an 11am-8pm Monday-Friday week so hardly home just want something that is convenience and if I get to live with cool people that’s a bonus
Hi, my name is Amber and I work full time as a psychologist for the Queensland Gov. I am an active, social and adventurous person who loves getting to know new people but also can appreciate time to oneself :) I am looking for a fun and tidy person/people to move in with during JAN of 2019! I also work in Bris City so would be keen to live public transport distance to there. Happy to chat further to see if we’re the right fit :)
G’day, I am looking for a long-term place to live and call home. I am available to move in whenever it suits, however I do need to find someone to replace my current lease. I am looking for a place as close to work as possible, preferably less than 20 mins drive. I am a 24-year-old healthcare worker and looking for other working professionals with similar age who are quiet during the week but somewhat social on weekends. I am working full time as a chemo nurse at the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, so I am mostly at work during weekdays and enjoy quiet time afterwork. I am friendly, quiet, respectful, enjoy a chat or a few cheeky drinks, and most importantly clean up after myself. Never late on rent or bills. I look forward to living with like-minded person/people who will hopefully become good friends. I have my own bed and desk, so the room doesn't have to be fully furnished, and I'll need a carpark as well. I adopted an 8-year-old ginger cat from the RSPCA named Kramer, so ideally the place needs to be pet-friendly. Kramer is an inside cat, clean and very affectionate towards humans. He likes to cuddle up when you sit on the couch watching TV. My interests include working out at the gym (Jetts Milton), movies, FOOD and lots of NAPS. I got an Xbox one but barely touched it, so it's all yours if you are keen. I am a supporter of the Brisbane Broncos. If you are a fan or league follower, we could always go to the stadium and catch a couple games. If I sound like a decent housemate to you, please contact me on this website and I will get back to you ASAP as I am always checking the inbox. I am also happy to team up with somebody to find a place. Cheers :)
