Looking for a share house. We are an aussie couple 30 and 27, work fulltime and looking for a house that we can bring our 2 small cocker spaniels. (Both under 13kg) Desexed and trained but needy of affection. Needing fully fenced and hopefully a dishwasher too. Around brisbane redlands, redcliffe, not particularly fond of houses too close together and ontop of eachother where its claustrophobic. Like a yard and breeze, a chat and chill. Before possibly moving overseas for a while in 2018. If this sounds like who youd been keen on sharing your house let me know :-) or if you have a single rental optional too.
I am a 32 year old young adverting professional, with one small dog. I very clean and enjoy a tidy house. I work hard and have a very social, bubbly personality. I am looking for a place that is secure and pet friendly when I can live independently without flatmates.
Fairly new to Brisbane, I am currently studying at University and working part time. Pretty relaxed person, occasionally have a drink or two. Very hygienic and i keep everything tidy. Hopefully I won't just be a housemate, but a friend too :)
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained & clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook, philosophize over a drink and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. I’m a feminist dude and proud of it, though it’s not about telling people they’re wrong in their views so much as demonstrating with kindness and empathy that other views exist. I’m big on being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective. That said, Socratic method only goes so far in a group house, if you don’t know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place.
I am a yoga teacher, looking for a quiet and easy going household to stay with. Not a party animal but definitely enjoy mingling with others. I am also looking for any place within the 2 zone of the Brisbane CBD. My ideal place would have a fully furnished room & covered or off-street parking if possible.
Hi my name is Hannah, I am 27, I work full time and am at uni. I am very friendly and social and enjoy a good conversation:) I have two little dogs who are very friendly and well behaved. I'm ideally looking for a long term rental or to team up with others to find a place. Send me a message if you'd like to chat :)
Hi there, I'm Alison, I currently am a full time psychology student at UQ and work part time as a nanny. I am looking for a clean, respectful and friendly share house to live in. When I'm not studying or working I am fairly social and would love to sit down for a meal, binge watch a tv show or just have a chat. I am fairly flexible with where I live (work on north side but go to uni on the south side) and with move in dates (although the sooner the better). I hope to here from you!
Studying at Griffith full time and working part time. Moving up from sydney so wouldn't mind a fairly social share house but respectful of boundaries...
I'm from China, a PhD student at QUT, studying digital media. I love cooking and hiking and playing table tennis and badminton. I have a car so it would be perfect if there is an undercover carpark. I'm quite easy-going and quiet and respectful. Meanwhile, I love to cook and share my food. Hope we can be good friends, not just the one with whom you share a house
My name is Annie and I am studying Secondary Teaching at QUT. On the side I am a Disability Support Worker, so when I am at home I like to keep myself sane by doing as much fun shit as I can. I am extremely easy going, I am a great cook and I am tidy. I'm wanting to live with some fun, drama-free, people that can respect that I need a 'hermit' day from time to time. I am after somewhere preferably with air conditioning that everyone is cool with using, but this isn't a big deal. Send me a message if you think I am the one and I can tell you more about myself :)
Hey, I'm a German student studying at the UQ until June. I'm looking for a furnished room, preferably in St Lucia. I'm super easy, tidy and will respect you privacy and space. I would like to meet a lots of new people and go out, but also have time to focus on my studies. During the holidays I would like to visit some great places, so there will just be my luggage in the room. I love doing sports, especially tennis and football. And I am really keen on learning to surf. Cheers, Nico
Hey guys, I just came to Australia and will be starting my PhD at the QUT in March. I'm searching for a private room in a shared flat. I've lived in shared flats for the last seven years, never had any problems with my flatmates and prefer it to living alone. I'm originally from Germany. I suppose that I'll be working a lot and therefore most days I will only be at the flat at the evening. However, I would prefer a shared flat that is not only living together to pay less rent, but spends some time with each other, for example cooking together or just chatting maybe sharing a red wine 😉 from time to time. I am a vegetarian though so cooking together can be tricky sometimes. I just arrived in Brisbane and therefore didn‘t start any pastime activities again, but I would like to sing in a choir again. I also enjoy video games, TV series, dancing, music, theatre and art sometimes (although I'm absolutely clueless). So in conclusion I would like a flat were everyone has their personal space, but people still pass some time together. If you've read this far, I'm hoping to hear from you soon. 😊
I am studying Information Technology full time at UQ. I am incredibly clean and enjoy cooking or sharing a drink. Ideally I would like to share with one other person and have my own bathroom.
Hey guys! I am a 22 yo student from France and I'll be studying IT-related topics at QUT (Gardens Point) for 4 months. I have been moving to Australia alone and I really like meeting new people and places! I'm really sociable (as long as my English skills can follow, though), I also like hanging out with friends to have a beer on a terrace. I know how to cook French food (with wine, ofc), I like to keep my room and kitchen clean and tidy (no worries, I'm not a maniac!). Outdoors is where I like spending most of my time, whether it be for hiking, kiteboarding or just wandering around. Especially when the weather is as nice as the one in Brisbane! Hope to seeing you guys soon!
I am clean and tidy and respectful of other housemates. I don't do drugs and I am not a party person. I don't mind socialising but I also enjoy my own time. I play sport so it will take up most of my time. I am good with animals but I am allergic to cats. Please DONT contact me if its a share room with other people I won't respond. I like my privacy.
Gday Guys, My name is Loucas and i am 37 years old. I moving up from Perth because i have been offered some good work and i could do with the change and balmy, sunny Brisbane im sure is a great place.. Im clean, polite, respectful and very easy to get along with. Hopefully your really cool to, because i only know a couple of people in Brisbane so it would be nice to go out for a drink with you, if your up for it. I just need a nice clean and respectful place to live for a few months while i find my feet around Brisbane and i need a place for my car.
We are a young, tidy, social and calm couple + a friend from Norway, studying business in Brisbane for one semester. For fun we love to be active, work out, meet new people and go see new places. Idealy looking for one couple room and one single room in a shared house in West End, preferably with other students!
Hey people, I'm going to spend the next Semester at the UQ. I am 23, studying math in Munich and I am more or less done with my Masters. Therefore I'm just going to take some courses in which I'm interested in and continue to write on my thesis. I guess I am a comfortable person to live with - until now I just had great experiences with sharing a flat. I lived together with brazilians, germans, polish, americans, italians and portuguese. And with all of them it was a lot of fun! I would describe myself as open minded and interested in nearly everything. I love to do sports, talk to people, going out just for a coffee or a beer, etc. I've never been to Australia before but I studied for two Semesters already in Portugal and for one in the UK. Afterwards I worked in Washington D.C. for a professional soccer/football club. As you can see I just love new experiences and meeting people from all around the world. One of the reasons why I chose now to go to the other side of the world. ;) Richard
I'm an international student from Dubai and I will be studying Environmental Management at UQ from Semester 1. I was studying in the US at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. So yes, it's a big change! I'm super easy and fun to live with. Am extremely neat and tidy, and love to keep my living space clean. Pretty decent at cooking too. I'm always ready to help a friend out. Will respect your privacy and space, as I would also like to get focused and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to hang out and watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I enjoy playing a lot of sports especially badminton, football, Quidditch (yes it's a sport and it's very intense) and cricket. Love exploring new places am ready to hike/walk any-and-everywhere. I'll be new to the place so I would love to go out and explore on the weekends, provided I have the time. Would love to live or team up with any of you wonderful people so do not hesitate to hit me up! :D Cheers, Abhi PS - The $250 is my budget including utilities.
Hi! Currently living in the northern suburbs, but I'm keen to move closer to friends/work/civilisation. I'm working full time in Milton, so looking for a home that is walking distance to the Caboolture/Redcliffe-Ipswich/Springfield train lines. Ideally I will have a bathroom to myself, but happy to share with one other person (maybe even two). Would also be great it some of the rooms of the house/apartment/other has air con! Likes include: - Cooking - Eating - Binge-watching the latest tv shows Dislikes: - People who don't replace the toilet paper. I do actually have a social life - I promise! I play social netball, hang out with friends most weekends and generally like to balance out my laziness with fresh air. I like my home to be a comfy retreat (clean and calm) and looking to live with others who feel the same. It would be great to have housemates who friendly, though I'm not needy and happy to have time to myself. I have almost no furniture, but looking for an unfurnished room (I will buy stuff). Ideally looking for housemates who are non-smokers and no cats (dogs are fine). I don't drive so I don't need a car park, but I am looking for somewhere well connected to public transport. Want to know something else? Ask.
Student and part-time worker. I'm easy going, tidy and social - will bring good vibes :) Looking for a room for 150 or slightly more if bills included. Happy to jump on a lease if necessary (just coming out of one). P.s my pic is missing the bow tie!
Hello! I've lived with plenty of roommates, and have always kept a clean space and pay all rent/utilities on time. I don't mind pets (I actually love them, even though I not travelling with any myself) and enjoy living in a social environment. With that said, I'm a physical therapy student that will be working so I won't be in your space all of the time. Really, I'm just looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to stay for my time in Brisbane!
I am a student from the UK, fun and outgoing! Love making new friends and socialising. I study Law in the UK, second year student, aged 19. I have lived with both male and female students in shared houses/flats at uni before! I consider myself very clean and tidy. Looking forward to living with easy going housemates who will make my Brisbane study a trip to remember! In my spare time i would love to go travelling around Australia, go to beaches, snorkelling, ski diving and everything Australians do for fun!
Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm looking for flatmates to live with around the inner western suburbs! I am currently working full time as a Speech Pathologist, but also spend 2-3 nights a week studying my Masters degree at UQ. I am a very social person and will always make time for hanging out with my friends if the opportunity presents itself. Although I'm very busy, I'll happily squeeze in a drink or two on the weekends, and enjoy making/listening to music, playing netball, and wishing I was on my next trip! (I love to travel.. especially where there's snow and mountains). I'd like to think I'd make a great housemate - I'm clean, considerate, and always respectful of my surroundings. I take ownership of my responsibilities as a human, and would always pay bills on time/ensure my duties are always fulfilled! I also consider myself to be quite a relaxed person, and don't get too caught up on the little things (I try to see the big picture!), so although I'm clean and tidy, I don't get anal about things easily. I'm looking to share a house/apartment with like minded individual/s, open to making new a new friend :)
