I'm a pretty easy-going girl, I enjoy great conversations and love to have a good laugh. I'm easy to get along with and I also appreciate my personal space from time to time. I'm an awesome cook (if I can say so myself), and I like trying new recipes... Although ironically, I eat very little. If you live with me you will enjoy these recipes at least once! My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, and travelling. And cooking. I'm tidy and I always clean up after myself. I've recently gotten into jogging too and I'm hoping to keep that up. I've previously enjoyed living in a share house on the Gold Coast (I picked up surfing while I was there), and I'll be moving to Brisbane to focus on my academic research. I'm currently in Hobart so let me know if you'd like any Tasmanian souvenirs! :) Send me a message if I sound like your potential flatmate.
Bubbly and easy to get along with person. Clean and tidy. Looking for a short term accomodation while my friend and I are finding a place to live in together. I have a car and will need somewhere to put it (other than street parking as it's brand new and I don't want it to get destroyed).
Greetings future housemate(s)! I am from Melbourne and looking for a temporary living situation for around 3-4 months. An Accountant by day, stand-up comedian by night. I play a little guitar, a little piano and a big harmonica. I sometimes cook and plan to quit yoga soon and start this flying trapeze course. And yes, you have caught me trying to sound interesting to you. Truthfully, I am quite ordinary and easy to get to know. I am at my happiest when mucking around with friends/family and their pets- I do love all living creatures, except bed bugs. As a housemate, I am helpful, neat, sanitary, considerate and respectful of other people and their space. I do not take myself too seriously but I seriously need to be able to park my car somewhere (street parking will do). If all this sounds reasonable, please contact me as soon as you can. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Chloe P.S I’m not actually a stand up comedian, yet.
We're a queer trans couple with a doggo and a cat. The doggo is a border collie, he's super friendly and well house trained. The kitty is called Loki because he is a tiny trickster god. We're into music, photography, and crafting things
Hi potential new housemate. I am a 27 year old professional, working full time and studying my MBA part-time. I am impeccably clean and respectful. I do travel a lot for work and on the weekends I enjoy cooking and socialising. On weeknights I am almost always doing yoga, F45 or working on assignments. Looking for a friendly, clean housemate who I can share a meal and wine with occasionally. I do not have any pets but I love animals. I work in the suburbs so I have a car and will need car parking. Preference is for a 2 bedroom apartment in either Toowong or West End.
I have a fluffy cat Nori who is very friendly but needs space outdoors to roam in. I'm a friendly social person but I like to have my own space as well. I would like to start a new lease with 1 other person in a new place preferably.
I'm a 27yo Czech studying full-time Psychotherapy at UQ. I have already shared a living several times, so I know how to be mindful and considerate about your personal space (clean and tidy), but I'm still friendly and easy-going. I enjoy casual socializing and chats, or occasional gatherings at home, but not much of a party animal anymore, and will definitely appreciate to have some privacy to study and chill on my own, too . Hence, looking for a single room + ensuite/own bathroom, preferably walking distance from UQ St. Lucia campus as I often pull long nights at the library and have beach volleyball there 3-4 times a week. I'm currently staying in a share-house in Spring Hill and have the lease till mid Feb but might be able to leave before the lease ends. I like travelling, volleyball, everyday workouts (no fitness freak, though), pizza&wine sessions, and animals - if there was a dog or a cat in the house I wouldn't mind :) If you're like-minded and think we could work out as flatmates and eventually as friends, leave me a message :) Cheers!
Hello! My name is Dustin and I'll be re-locating to Brisbane for a job mid November. I'm from Southern California and like to surf, ride bikes and have some beers with friends in my spare time. I'm pretty low key and my work keeps me busy but I'm always down to BBQ and hang out!
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Three UQ students in last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, cleanliness oriented and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms for each of us.
I'm a Project manager who wants to stay for several months (~1 year) in Brisbane to study. I have worked for 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry and am currently in between jobs, looking for a change of career. I'm a Christian, that likes to travel to remote areas of the world. I like to cook, also lots of sport like Squash, general fitness and a lot of other stuff. Besides that I'm pretty laid back and like to have fun with other people.
Hi :) I'm currently working as an Executive Assistant and studying Law full time. Keeps me super busy so you probably wont see much of me during the week! On weekends I like to binge watch greys anatomyt or have a few drinks with friends. I like to keep fit and healthy, but won't mind a sneaky cheat meal here and there! I'm very mindful and respectful :) Thanks
We’ve been living in Australia for 2 months (from the UK) and would love to find somewhere to settle abit now. We’re currently living in the valley but it’s too much traffic for getting to work. Both of us work full time but love to get out and do stuff in our free time. Very socialable ans love animals!
Down to earth, clean, reliable and fun to live with. I am a graphic artist working in advertising in Brisbane. I like hiking and mountain bike riding, spending time with friends. Respectful of others and my own space and make an effort to make a shared home an uplifting and comfortable place for everyone.
Hello! I'm an international student from Singapore, currently a full time student in UQ. I'm looking for a place to move in in January 2018. I like my space but do like to interact and socialize. I'm cool with teaming up and hopes to find a place that is comfortable, and most importantly within walking distance to UQ.
Hey there! I'm a psych student at UQ who is nearing the end of my undergrad degree but will likely be staying at uni for the next few years. I am pretty clean and a decent cook. I work a few days a week and the other days I'm at uni. I do have a small dog who lives for eating, sleeping and going for walks. She is pretty chill with other animals and adores people. I'm breezy about move in dates but would love to be in my new place before mid jan. The place I'm in currently is looking to offload some furniture so I do have the option of bringing whitegoods/ living room furniture etc. if needed
Born and raised from Texas! On a work holiday visa. I plan to live in Brisbane for a year or so. I am fun and outgoing but also dedicated to my work. I am very friendly- love getting to know people. I am also really clean and I am looking to room with people who are easy going and just as friendly and hard-working.
Hi, I have experience living in a share house so I understand the importance of respecting everyone else that lives there. I am a tidy and relaxed person, I come with a cute dog and plants. I have a couple jobs that I work during the week and on weekends and I am a full time student studying nursing and paramedics. I love to be social, hanging out in common areas would be ideal but, like everyone, I like chilling in my room as well. My dog's name is Blue, he is basically a mini red cattle dog and he's almost 8 months old. He is house trained and super friendly, he loves people and other dogs. He currently lives inside with my current housemates and I and we don't have any issues with him.
