I lived in multicultural enviroment and really liked it. I am looking for a furnished room. My school is located in Adelaide Street so I want to live not to far from there so I can ride a bike to school. about me: I'm different in every minute, but always positive! I love meeting new people. I can't stay in one place for too long- I am bored. I love travelling. I love sighstseeing. My second passion is vegan cooking- especially for others. I love the smile on people's faces after eating my dish :) I love sport- practice fitness, pilates, joga etc.
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move mid-January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
I am currently doing undergrad at UQ (full-time). Looking to share a house with mature and clean flatmates. I am working part-time and enjoy improving my fitness when I am free. Not much of a party person (I am rather private and prefer to have my own space from time to time), but I enjoy intellectual conversations with people.
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Will clean bathrooms and toilets haha!
I'm 22 and I work full-time for an education organisation. I love a bit of yoga and a cheeky wine every now and then. I'm super easy going, clean and respectful. I'm generally rather quiet but always down for hangs and a chat! I've lived in share houses for 4 years or so, so I know the drill :) Keen to move ASAP but am flexible. Look forward to hearing from you! Krystal
Hi there! My name is Aden, I am 23 years old and work full time in the city as an Accountant (exciting, I know!). I'm friendly, tidy and respectful and am looking to move into a place before January 2017. Location is not too important, as long as there is public transport into the city. I'm very easy going and have a keen interest in health and fitness as well as being passionate about English Premier League Football. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Aden
Hello! Names Payce Williams and I come from Alberta, Canada. I am looking for a place to call home in the Brisbane area for the next 3-4 months while I look to obtain my real estate license. By the moment you met me you'll see that I am a energetic and well spoken person who loves a good laugh and cherishes friendships with due respect. I am currently seeking part time work while I aim to gain my realtor license within the month of December. Please feel free to contact me any time if my listing intrigues you to get to know a fellow Canadian. Thanks Eh!
My name is Kirby, Im looking for a nice, clean place with easy going people to live with, that are social and fun. We are looking for somewhere to call home over Christmas and into the new year. We're really easy going, do our part with cleaning and tidying up after ourselves. We're both from the UK and work full-time during the week so we enjoy spending weekends exploring brisbane and the surrounding areas!
I'm very clean and quite. Respectful of others space. I like to be sociable but also enjoy my own time. Love watching movies etc going for breakfast and gym. My cats name is Memphis and he is also very clean and house trained. He's 14yrs so most of his time he is sleeping lol. I'm a hairdresser so on my days off I like to chill

Hiya I'm Tatiana and I'm an artist and student (or will be next year at QCA). I work part time hours at a retail job and love it. I live quietly but still enjoy a odd night out with friends. My entire existence revolves the paintings of dutch masters and their godlike abilities, memes, doughnut time, various Harry Potter theories and graphite pencils. I make a mean banana bread and my rice pilaf brings all the boys to the yard. Ideally I'm looking to move some time in the new year <3
I work full time in the city as a lawyer and am looking for a place in the New Farm/ Teneriffe area - ideally somewhere close to public transport and good cafes. I like home to be a place to recharge and relax and would love to live with someone like-minded. I keep to myself a bit during the week but enjoy a cider and a chat on weekends. I'm looking to move in January 2017 (when my current lease expires). Feel free to get in touch if you have a suitable place or if you'd like to find a place with me!
Hi guys, Im looking for a place with one or two others, that I can have a laugh with and the occasional beverage or two. I would prefer people that are easy going and I could hopefully become friends with, rather than people that keep entirely to themselves or sit in their bedroom all day.
We are a very nice, easy going couple from brighton UK, looking to make some money in Australia with our 1 year visa's maybe extending to 2 years. We enjoy the best of both worlds chilling out and socialising. Ian is a landscape gardener and lou is a florist. We're really excited about making Brisbane our new home. If you're interested message us for a chat :) Lou & Ian
23 year old Electrical Apprentice I work full time and train martial arts nearly every night so I'm not home often Enjoy going for a surf on the weekend and having a chat over a cold one (or 10) Would like to be in a sharehouse that feels more like a home and somewhere I can look forward to coming home to after a hard day at work. I enjoy a social and friendly household, people who are up for a chat and random shenanigans. I clean up after myself and pull my weight around the house and would like to live with people who do the same. My lease is up end of Jan 2017 but wouldn't bother me moving in sooner if i find the right place with the right people, swing me a message and we can have a chat! cheers
I am a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) I work as a tarot reader and am a bit of a hippy chick. Im completing my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time :P Im tidy and respectful and am always smiling! I live a healthy lifestyle despite my sweet tooth and the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat!
hey, you guys can call me kid. i'll be moving to brisbane in february 2017 to study at UQ. i'm a fun and tidy guy. i'll be staying for at least 6 months but i might extend depending on the situation. i'm either busy with school or gaming at home during the day but i like to go out to meet new people and have fun at night but i'm not much of a party goer.
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games with us and jam some records. I've also got a Playstation which you'd be welcome to use for games or Netflix. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
I'm a 21 year old qualified Graphic Designer, studying another degree at UQ. I am bubbly, out-going and always keen on adventures. I'm in love with photography and all things creative and absolutely love my wildlife, so hopefully you don't mind me bringing some plants and an abundance of art supplies. Looking for a place in January to stay until late May/June as I am moving overseas for an internship in August and want to stay with family the few months before. If there is anything you would like to know about me, feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear for you!
Hi, I am a university student from Newcastle looking for accommodation in Brisbane for 2-3 months starting in December. I will be working full time at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital. Preferably somewhere close within reasonable walking distance. I am an easy going person and clean and tidy around the house. I like going to the beach and getting out on weekends. I am very active and enjoy running and going to the gym.
Recently turned 19, I work 30 hours a week - looking to increase this to 40 hours, I'm great with budgeting my money and im a pretty chill person, happy to share my food and pretty much anything else i own - i understand if your not happy to do the same :) I like to keep all common areas tidy however my room will most likely be less tidy as im normally in a rush when changing clothes This will be my second time living out of home, I am respectful of your privacy and requirements such as noise restrictions and personal space. I'm very sociable and i do like to go out often, I'm also not one to shy away from a few drinks here and there - if I'm being completely honest i will fit more in a household with people who enjoy working hard during the week and partying hard on weekends - or at least poeple who dont mind that i drink often. Even though i do like to drink, i will still always stay respectful.
Hi I'm Elinor I'm moved to Brisbane from SA at the start if the year for uni ( I'm studying a Masters of teaching at UQ) and looking for now I'm looking for somewhere closer to uni to live. I'm a friendly person keen to live with someone who I can chat with and be friends with but also mindfull of personal space and boundaries. I'm clean and tidy and happy to help with household cleaning
Hi I will be looking for somewhere to move in to in early January. Could possibly move a few weeks before hand if needed. Looking for a house share max 3 bedrooms, so everyone can be social but it doesnt feel too crowded. Ive lived in Brisbane for 5 years, working full time. Recently sold most of my furniture so have my bedroom furniture to bring plus washing machine and fridge to bring with me. Last 2 are negotiable. I use my mobile so im not fussed on landline or additional internet provision. Cheers Lauren
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, I'm currently doing 2 units over summer - kill me, why did I do this to myself? I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 5 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
I am looking to establish a share house with 2-3 other people in west end. We are looking to move in during the new year somewhere around January or early February at the latest. I like to think quite responsible for my age. I work between 20-40 hours a week on average as a waitress at a cafe in the city. I am looking to find a nice friendly place that my plant collection and I can call home. I can be somewhat shy at first but once you get to know me I can be great company. In my spare time I can be found rock climbing at urban climb in west end. I am currently on a working gap year but intend on taking up study some time in the future. If you are interested please message me.
I'm very clean, always pick up after myself and pull my weight around the house. Financially stable so paying rent will never be an issue. I'm always up for chats or drinks.
I am an office manager who works full time in the CBD and try to go to the gym most days after work. I like to go out on weekends but still love those chilled days at home reading a book. I love travelling and trying new foods so always up for a chat over dinner or drinks. I'm very clean/tidy and love my independance, but also looking to make some new friends. Ideally I would like to live in an apartment or townhouse and happy to team up with another female to start a lease in Kangaroo Point, Teneriffe, West End or South Brisbane :)
I'm honest, reliable, tidy and a positive person. I like to be sociable but also like to have my own space at times. Hoping to make some new friends along the way too. Not a very good cook but I'm learning lol. Move in date is flexible.
Hi all, Flexible with move in date.. Late December to Mid January. I'm looking for a couple of flatmates who would be willing to share with an old girl and her two cats. I'm currently in a unit but with my lease ending in January I thought it might be nice to join a share house again for the social aspect. I have furniture and white goods to sweeten the deal. I'm pretty quite through the week but definitely don't mind sharing a meal with house mates. I have two rescue cats Alvin 2 and Casper 14 they pretty much take care of themselves and aren't much bother at all. Of course I'm anal about kitty litter smells and fur. You wouldnt even know they were there. I'm happy to share with any gender but would probably like to share with at least one male to keep a happy balance. Hope to hear from you Em.
Quiet, reliable, respectful, and mature professional. I am out a lot working during the day/socializing in evenings and need a quiet and comfortable home where I can rest, eat and sleep. Definitely not looking for a party house. I would really like a place with ceiling fans and screened windows/doors, and/or air con, dishwasher would be nice and off street parking and internet are essential. Happy to share with one or maybe two others. I am 49yrs old, young at heart, and my preference is to share with others of mature age (ie. 30 plus) or of mature/sensible nature. I don't have pets but love animals, especially dogs. I have an impeccable rental record and can provide references. Looking to rent long term. I am very keen to establish a new place with somebody with a particular interest in taking up a two bed apartment to share in West End or surrounds. I am happy to share a bathroom but require off street parking. If we rent somewhere with only one car space I would be happy to pay a little extra for exclusive use. I am prepared to pay up to $260 a week for my share, plus share bills, internet etc...Happy to consider a 6 month lease at start but with view to long term providing all is working out well for us both. Of course, you would also be able to provide reliable rental references upon application to the agent/owner. A bit more about me and my lifestyle. I enjoy Yoga and Latin Dance and enjoy a sleep-in during the weekends. Indian cuisine is a clear favorite of mine, I rarely drink and follow a fairly healthy sort of lifestyle. I generally like peace and quiet between 9pm and 6am weekdays, to get my rest for work, and sometimes until 7 or 8am or so on weekend mornings so I can get my sleep after slightly later nights out social dancing on Fri and Sat. I am friendly but quiet and enjoy my own space and downtime. I am definitely not pedantic about it, but I do respect the need to mop up after myself and keep the place clean and tidy for others I am sharing with. Happy to consider getting a cleaner in for an hour or so each fortnight. If you are interested in renting an apartment and establishing a new home with me or if you have a suitable private room to rent in an established home please get in touch, I will be happy to hear from you.
Student- friendly, honest and always quite. Been moving to many places and had met great people. Looking for a place close to transportation to the city to go to uni and shops close by.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, cooking and being creative. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I'm a communications professional currently working in the city, looking for a self-contained place for myself and my mature and very timid cat, so a pet friendly granny flat or studio with a sunny windowsill would be perfect. I'm currently in the process of selling my 3 bedroom house in Sunnybank Hills, and hoping to rent for a year or two while I focus on career. The house is expected to sell very quickly, however I will keep any prospective landlord in the loop. I have lived happily on my own for the last several years, and rarely have friends over, preferring instead to go out, as I do love my privacy. Having said that, I highly value good neighbours. I adore gardening, and will find this the biggest challenge as I downsize (happy to help out with yours or point me towards a community garden). I have been a landlord on flatmates.com and been contacted by many people with no profile details, references, or comprehensive explanation of what they are looking for or why my property suits them - so I invite you to ask me as much as you need to know to ensure we are going to be a good fit. My cat comes with vet reports (medical and behavioural) and I can organise references from pet sitters and catteries. As I have been a homeowner for the last 10 years please let me know what kind of references you expect from me.
I'm barely home because I work full time (Tuesday to Saturday) as store manager at Sunglass Hut and I'm clean 😊 I do like to go out and have fun on the weekends and make friends with everyone. I've just moved here from Mount Isa but I'm originally from NZ.
I'm very social, easy-going and friendly, and am generally always up for a good time. That being said, I also know when it's time to get to work and be quiet and respectful. I like to keep busy, whether it be study or work, socialising or fitness. I'll be entering my 4th and final year of Speech Pathology at UQ in the new year and am keen to make it a good one. I am generally a very tidy person and will clean up after myself and help around the house when it's needed.
Full time professional working in eagle farm. Currently living in south Brisbane but want to live closer to the city & work. For fun I like to head to Sunshine Coast for a beach day, movie nights at home, dinner with the girls, gym workouts (thinking to join f45), and hey, shopping when the budget allows :) Looking for a 'home'. For me that means I don't want a party house, some quite wines yes, or move nights in. Very easy going to live with and like a tidy / neat home. I'm clean but not a clean freak. Furniture wise I have: TV 3 seater + 2 seater couch Fridge Washing machine All bedroom furniture Ideally looking to team up with someone so we can find a suitable home mid January. Would prefer a unit / apartment with our own bathroom each and carport if possible. And air conditioning! If you think we would team up ok send me a message and I'd be keen to catch up for a coffee. Thanks Mel
