I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am looking for a new place to call home. Currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years. I have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, washing machine, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
I am an adventurous, friendly 20 y/o girl from Norway. In February I'm starting my first university degree in Information Technology at UQ, and I'm looking for a room in a share house or to team up and look for a place together in Brisbane from early February - early July/August. I'd love to be friends with my roommates, and maybe do something fun together during weekends. As a person I am easy going and social, yet I respect the need for privacy. I'm tidy and always on time with bills, and I don't smoke nor have pets. For fun I like to travel, go out for drinks, binge Netflix, go to concerts or relax at a café. I love a good craft beer or a nice cup of cold brew or tea. I don't arrive Brisbane until the 31st of January, so unfortunately I won't be available for an inspection before the end of the month. If you're interested feel free to send me a message, and we'll work something out!
Hi! I'm Lucy, 20 years old and originally from FNQ. Currently studying my 2nd year of Science at UQ (St Lucia). I'm quiet, clean and reliable. I am easy to get along with, a people person and respectful of personal space. I work at Indooroopilly, and I'm hoping I can catch the bus from home. I love netball and animals (I don't have any. However, I'm happy to be living in a house with them). I've done my partying first year and I'll be knuckling down with my study this year, so expect me to be a bit secluded in my room most of the semester.
Hey, I am recent postgrad graduate from UQ. Working part-time at Brisbane City Hall. Looking for an easy but tidy place to live in. Always up for a catch up over drinks or movie nights but likes my personal time more. Let me know if you have got a place that would interest me. Cheers

Hi! I'm currently seeking to rent an unfurnished room close to the city, with parking (essential). Looking at a 6 month lease just in case we don't work together but would be more than happy to stay longer if we do :) I'll be starting a post graduate course at QUT (Gardens Point) in the new year so I will be partly studying and working. I'm looking to move in with people who are around a similar age to me, students or not but no couples, sorry! As a roommate I enjoy a balance between having my own time and also getting to know my roommates, over drinks, movie nights etc :) *I can also provide unlimited internet if needed
Hey there, I'm currently studying at UQ while working part-time and am looking to move in with a bunch of friendly 20-somethings around the end of January/beginning of February. Very easy to live with! I'm a clean and tidy type of person. I also love to bake - so if you like brownies you're in for a treat!
We're both just super chill people who love meeting new people and cracking the occasional cold one at the end of the day. We both travel to the Sunshine Coast often for work and family. Abbie: Often out and about with sports and gym as well as going back to the coast every week. Studying International Relations full time at Griffith. Hoping to make some new friends and have someone to yell about the origin with! Jack: Just a quiet bloke who's always down for a beer (nothing too rowdy though). Studying Commerce, also at Griffith. Keen to bond over cricket and footy with some good people. note: we're just mates not a couple so would need two rooms
I'm a full-time academic with Charles Sturt Uni and I'm also completing my PhD with QUT. I work and write from home and am prepared to cover additional costs associated with that. NBN is a requirement and a deal breaker if it's not available at your address. My partner visits overnight once a fortnight and brings our happy & friendly little dog for a sleepover. About me: I'm trustworthy and thoughtful. While I love a coffee/tea & a good yarn, I'm very independent. I will respect your space and expect you do mine. Around the house I'm clean and tidy and when things are fair and respectful I'm a very happy soul. When I'm not working, writing or reading, then I'll be walking, yoga stretching, thinking in the garden, sharing food with friends or watching a B grade movie. If you see a fit with your share house or apartment, please text my mobile or message me on flatmates. Cheers Susan
Hello! ** [LOOKING FOR PET FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION - INSIDE ONLY DESEXED CAT] ** Mt Gravatt/Southbank/Nathan/Wishart/Mansfield Area Studying at Griffith University Nathan & Southbank. -- I'm a friendly student who typically keeps quiet and tidy. I usually enjoy keeping to myself, and out of the way; (usually very busy with study) but I do enjoy artwork (I do digital artwork, and traditional media) as well as movies, gaming and other relaxing hobbies. ** I do have a little ginger cat, Maia, who I would want to have living with me. He is a lovely desexed, vaccinated & microchipped boy with a good nature. Whilst he is playful (and very entertaining), he is not destructive and typically sleeps when left alone. I'm from rural NSW, but have lived in Brisbane throughout 2017- and now I am needing a place to rent again for my second year of studies. I am currently studying a doubledegree of Design and Business at Griffith University. (Both Southbank and Nathan campuses). If you are looking for a non-intrusive, quiet housemate/flatmate, I am perfect! But I am not beyond friendly conversation, movie nights or anything of the like! As I have been struck with plans falling through, I am now desperately searching for somewhere to stay. I am a full-time student, so I am currently unemployed; but I receive youth allowance via Centrelink and have been dedicated with rental payments as of last year. I can provide a reference of my previous landlord to assure this. :)
Hey there! My current flatmate got married and our apt is too small for 3 of us, so I need to find a place. I work full time, sometimes too many hours unfortunately. I try to spend weekends doing outdoor activities: hiking, sailing, camping. I am looking for a place with windows and sunlight. We do not need to be best friends but would be nice to do something together from time to time.
I’m currently studying bio-medicine and business as a dual degree at ACU. I work part time as a nanny under the agency Charlton Brown. I’m a very quiet, respectful and clean young woman who also loves to have fun! I’m a very down to earth person who also loves to keep fit by swimming and running. I’m very easy going and relaxed.
Hi! I’m Lauren. I’ll be moving to Brisbane on the 16th of February. I’m a nursing student at CQU and will also be working part time. I’m very clean, easy going, and get along with everyone. I spend most of my time out with friends, studying, or working so I don’t spend much time at home, but I’d definitely want to get to know my flat mates and I’m always down for a chat at the end of the day.
My name is Abby and i'm 25. I am a Makeup artist, frequent gym goer, beer fiend and dog lover. Non smoker but not offended by it in the slightest. Always down for a spontaneous beverage. I am super friendly and tidy and I am looking for a home where I can be friends with the people i live with :)
Hi my name is Joe, I moved down to Brisbane last year from Toowoomba and was living in a student village called iglu. I'm looking to move into a place that is close to Toowong because I work at the kmart there. I like to go swimming at the Qut gardens point pool pretty frequently. I'm a pretty clean person and easy to get along with.
Hi Guys, We are currently looking for a room somewhere closer to the city. We both currently work part time jobs which are closer to the city. We are nice, easy to get along and easy to have a conversation with. We do like to keep to ourselves but are happy to have a good chat here and there. We are also both clean and tidy people. Let us know if you have anything that would suit us and you! :)
Hi All :-) My name is Aleks and I work in the CBD as a full time working professional. I work Mon to Fri and am not home during the day. Some weekends I will also be down on the GC since my parents live there. I have been living by myself for the last 6 months and am looking to start a share home with another flatmate or 2 if the place is right! At this stage I’d prefer fenald flatmates. Or male and female flat mates if there are 2 others :-) I have lived with others for years and am respectful of others people’s personal space, and pay rent and bills on time. Would be great to find someone down to earth, friendly, happy to share housework responsibilities and who is not a massive party animal as I wake up early to head to work :-) On weekends I’m happy for people to have friends or family over! I have some furniture and white goods that can go into a new place. My current lease ends on 22 March, but I am flexible with dates before (as I will need to move out before this date for cleaning) and after.
Looking at teaming up to move into a new apartment. I'm 18, currently work part time at Coles, don't have a car just yet so rely on public transport, anybody who knows me would say I'm clean and tidy, and I guess I keep to myself most of the time, but in saying that, I'm always up for a chat. In terms of what I do in my spare time, I usually just chill at home listening to music (with headphones). I currently live a minute's walk from Indro train station, a short walk from Indro shopping centre and am looking at moving into the new building next door to where I am now. I need to move as my current lease can't be renewed due to a change of ownership. Anything else, just ask! If I sound like the sort of person you'd be interested in living with, hit me up!
