Hi, my name is Ben and i'm from Singapore. I am currently in my third year at Monash University majoring in Marketing. I enjoy playing most sports or just chilling at home. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. If i'm not chilling at home, I also like to go out (or stay in) for a drink or 2. Will be back in Melb on the 23rd of Feb, hoping to find a place soon, so i don't have to crash with friends for too long :(
Hey there! My name Abby. I am studying, part time, Foreign Languages at Monash University. I work full time in the CBD, at T2. It's a specialty tea store, so I have a lot of free tea to offer. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, non smokers, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. We are getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle but my boyfriend can always take him instead. Cheers!
Hello, Looking for someone to rent a place with. I would like to settle down for at least a year. I am doing my master's at the moment and working, Very responsible, tidy and respectful of other's privacy, although always up for a chat or a beer.
Hi! I’m Jessica from México, studying a business diploma and working part time. I’m a really easygoing person I don’t like problems so if is there any issue I’m happy to talk and fix it.. I’m clean and responsible, cheerful, friendly. Love music, dance and yoga! :)
I am very clean (not freaky) but like to keep everything neat and tidy. I am from Brazil in a student visa, doing a Diploma in International Business, and also I have some jobs in Hospitality in CBD. I like a good conversation but also enjoy my own space. I very hardly ever drink alcohol at home and on my free time I go to the gym or also enjoy traveling, going to the beach, sometimes reading a book.
Jean is born in Costa Rica but Australian citizen for over 13 years and I am born in Germany but travelling the world for over 8 years now and about to become a permanent Ozzy as well. We are easy going, open minded, not judge mental, social but respectful to every ones privacy and tidy. We love art, cooking, music, animals (but we don't have any pets) and wine :) Both long term travelers looking for a permanent home in Melbourne.
I'm a easy going person from Hamburg (north Germany) who just arrived in Melbourne to study. I'm open for new experiences and people and I like to share stories and some of my cooking skills 😃 I already lived in a shared house back home so I know the rules. I respect the privacy of others and also I'm a very clean person. In my free time I love to be outside and spend the day at the beach, in a cafe or library, with friends or simply at gym. Hope to arrange a viewing soonish and maybe we are the perfect match 😃
I'm a 30yo guy looking for some awesome, friendly flatmates to live with long term. I work as a chef, without the chef hours, so no late nights and more cooking for you! (Favourite thing to cook? Tacos)... I'd love to find a place thats chilled out, mature, clean and has a half decent kitchen ;) I'm a social introvert, i love meaningful, engaging conversations with people, over wine or tea but need to maintain a balance between having fun and relaxing with a movie, book or meditating..i don't really watch TV but Im pretty easy going. If there's ever any wind i'll be down in St. Kilda kitesurfing and I'm also taking up pottery classes on Sunday. I have a broken banjo that i don't play, and I've also stopped going to salsa classes, but i could definitely be persuaded to start doing both. I'd be looking to find a room for a queen sized bed, but other than that i don't have much else I'm afraid as I've been away travelling for a few years.....just a few indoor plants and a taco press....for making our own tacos...obviously. I sometimes wee in the shower and I'll use up all your bowls and tea towels when i cook, but i hold my values of honesty and reliability highly. Typical INTP if that matters. Look forward to meeting you!
Hey! I’m Matt, 28, from the U.K.! I work full time in construction, I’m here in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months and I need to find a private room as soon as I can! I’m a clean freak and always respectful of my other housemates... Thank You! Matt
I'm a fulltime employed professional who leads a busy life and prefers to get out and about during my down time. I'm respectful, unobtrusive, kind and very neat and tidy. I'm very easygoing and wouldn't mind the chance to chat over a wine or beer when the situation arises.
Imagine living with a recently arrived Mexican and have a house full of delicious quesadillas all day. Sounds good, right?. I've recently moved to Melb to start my PhD at Monash and I'm looking for a room in a nice, relaxed house with great flatmates. I have a regular Mon to Fri working schedule at the Uni either working at my project or doing some teaching assistantship, so I keep myself busy. I have shared flats with all kinds of personalities, so I can asure you I have experience sharing flats and I'm very easy-going. You can be sure I'm very clean, tidy, respectful of your time and space, but I'd also love to go out and explore Melb with you if you are keen. Expect good musical taste, always a clean bathroom and good dinner cooked at home to share after work or weekends.
From Scotland, been living in Australia for 2 years, hopefully forever after I've finished my studies! Love coffee, food and the occasional drink as expected from a scot! 😊
I work full time in business, always clean and tidy and respectful of others. Always pay bills ect on time. Relaxed weeknights, either exercising, seeing friends or watching trashy TV! And generally always busy on a weekend.. I’ve just gotten back from traveling for 6months and ready to move out again.
Hi I'm Rose! I'm from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for just over a year now. I work full time at a high school with at-risk teens, and I'm hoping to move a bit closer to work. In my spare time I enjoy getting outdoors, reading, having a few wines, and going to gigs :)
I'm a french girl from Tahiti, in Melbs since 3 months, here for the next 2 years (enrolled in a Culinary Art school, just a fancy way to say that I'm studying cookery, to be a chef). So what makes me great to live with? Because I am: - Drama free, unless it is gossiping about the neighbors hooking up in front their open window. - Fun to be around, or at least I like to think so! - House trained for several years (+5, USA, Tahiti, Oz), I pride myself with grade A+ skills in Majors paying-rent-on-time, cleaning-after-myself, keeping-the-house-clean, and getting-the-trash-out. Not to mention my Phd in Dishwashing. - In school to learn cooking, so you guys will be the lucky first tester of some of my awesome food creation (don't thank me yet) - Bartending is my way to survive in this world. So yes, I will make sure to get our Mimosa ready for Sunday brunch sesh, and our espresso martinis for some (occasional) chill after work sesh. - Creative type of person, I pretty much created the DYI concept. Haha jokes aside, I just like to be creative with whatever I can find/get! Can turn a shit-whole into a fairy castle, no kidding. - Not a party animal, well very occasionally I still am, like to have a little breakfast club sesh once in a while. Also, I never blackout, so I will make sure to remind us all our inglorious (still fun tho) drunk moments. - Environmentally-conscious, I learned since very young how to use a light switch. - Vegetarian, I don't need much space in the fridge, I will just grow my salads in the garden. - Used to be called a social-butterfly, a people person, tbh I never really understood why, I don't like people, and that's the reason, in fact, I am looking for other fellows to share a space. ........... I am also fluent in sarcasm. 🤓 Hope my intro made you smile, a bit ... if not, no drama, no hards feeling, I had fun writing it. Last thing. Super flexible on moving date, don't mind waiting for the right place, but would love to move asap. Also, have 1 month bond + 1 month rent ready to go. Have a good one and happy flatmates hunt! Timothee (and yes, I am a girl, with a guy name, confusing I know)
Hello, I am Felipe and I am doing my Master's degree at Victoria University. I am currently looking for a place to be closer to work and uni. I work in hospitality, so I keep busy with uni and work. When I am at home, I am a very tidy, respectful, clean guy who loves to enjoy his free time, resting, watching tv. I also like to socialize when I have time, I enjoy playing board games, video games, going out for a coffee/drink or even planning to go to events. Ideally, looking in the area of Ripponlea - Elwood - balaclava - Elsternwick, I'm also opened to other suburbs as long as they are near to public transport. Feel free to shoot me a message if you need further questions. Looking forward to being your new housemate!
Easygoing 35yo professional, looking to live with a similarly easygoing flatmate! I'm currently in a one-bedroom apartment so have a lot of furniture to start a new sharehouse with. I enjoy kung fu, going to gigs and getting out and about on my bike. I enjoy having a chat or a drink and occasionally making fun of trashy TV with clean and respectful housemates. I like to cook, but am more comfortable cooking my own meals.
I'm a very chill housemate, tidy and respectful of other people's spaces. I like to socialise and have drinks/watch movies and whatnot with my housemates but I will also spend a bit of time in my room painting and drawing. I'm vegetarian and like to cook a bit, am also great at taking care of the dishes. I have a cat who is very loving and energetic, loves cuddles and being played with so I'd be happy to share his attention with others.
Hi. I am Chris and I am looking for a place in a shared house/apartment. I work full time as a public servant. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, reading and listening to music. I've lived in several share houses over the last 12 years and enjoy the social aspect of share houses. I'm looking for easy going sociable flatmates. As I work full time during the week, I would prefer a household that was reasonably quiet on weeknights.
I’m bubbly, friendly and fun loving. I have a big heart and masses of respect for others. I like to keep a clean and tidy home and I’d always be willing to cook up something for dinner!
Hey there, I'm Dan. I'm 27 and work as a freight train driver, planning to start studying mid-year to be a winemaker. I enjoy living in a chilled space where people do their own thing, but also love getting to know my housemates and having a laugh. I like cooking when I get the chance and trying to stay fit and active. In the cooler months I do a bit of snowboarding and when it's warmer I like to go for a fish. I also love all the usual Melbourne stuff, eating out and going to gig's etc. Anyhow, if there's anything else you'd like to know just ask :)
My name's Lauren. I'm 34 years old and working full-time for an interpreter and translations service. I work 1pm-9pm in South Melbourne. I'm clean, quiet and I'm currently studying Italian, which takes up quite a bit of my time. I like having a chat over a glass of wine and am big on respecting others space. I enjoy watching foreign films, British comedies, Netflix, reading, drawing and cycling. I am looking for a room for 3-4 months.
