Hey :) My names Jax, im 31yr old, super chill aussie girl, originally from wollongong, however have lived in sydney for 9yrs, and have also been living in a ski town in canada for the past 2.5years. Ive been back living back sydney since september, at place in Chippendale. Am keen for somewhere with a little less city, a little more nature. I work full time in the city as an Executive Assistant at Ticketek, so have been fully abusing my perks for free tickets since I started haha. I trrrry to go to the gym to burn off all the chocolate I eat, so Im pretty low key during the week, and generally just watch netflix:) I love snowboarding, the beach, hiking, music, travelling, festivals, movies, drinks and just doing social things. Ive lived in quite a few share houses in both sydney and Canada, so know how to respect everyone's privacy and space and can confirm I know how to clean up after myself :) I actually did housekeeping while living in Canada, so know how to clean a house... but definitely in no way OCD. Just hoping to find a nice place to live, with some chill housemates. I've always been super lucky and been friends with my housemates, would be awesome to find the same again! In saying that, I have friends in sydney and family/friends back home in wollongong so also have my own life and do my own thing :) Can of course pay Bond/rent up front, and am very flexible with a move in date! Any other questions just ask Thanks, Jax
Hi guys, I've just taken up employment with a bank in Sydney CBD so I'm looking for a nice and relaxed living environment close to the office with a private room. I'm a chatty and friendly guy who is interested in catching up with friends, sport, and film/TV (especially GoT: roll on April!) Please drop me a message if you have a room available in the Inner Western Suburbs.
I'm a mid-30's accountant working in the city. New to Sydney, originally from Brisbane and looking for a place to call home within 5km south/west of the CBD. I'm fairly laid-back, quiet, clean, tidy and considerate - happy to socialise with housemates or just do my own thing. I've lived in shared houses for well over a decade and am still close friends with most of my past housemates, several of whom would be happy to provide a character reference. I'm Ideally looking for at least a 6 month stay, if not longer. Ideally looking to move early-to-mid February, but do have some flexibility for late-Jan or later in Feb. Looking to share with late-20's to early 40's, but flexible with this. Good public transport links to the city required.
Hi, I’m Frieda! I am 21 years old. I work for a Nutrition company full time which is hard work, yet rewarding in Olympic Park. I enjoy spending my time outdoors, but also enjoy a pizza on the couch. Socialisation is a big part of my life and more than likely won't be home much. Times that we're both home, I'd appreciate a chat over some wine on the lounge, but also looking for someone who is accepting of alone time. I am looking for a clean, fun and outgoing housemate.
Hey we are a fun and friendly Scottish couple! We are clean, tidy and will most likely be working a lot 😊 we like to have a few beers, a laugh and cook often! We both love to go out to the pub, the outdoors or even the beach in our spare time! 😘
I'm a 27 yo engineer, work in Fintech and Australia has been home for about ~3 years now. Have lived in share-houses for the most part of my adult life so pretty used to the usual house rules. Traveling and outdoors is when I'm at my best, 2018 was a trip to red centre and NZ. This year will be SA hopefully.
I am a very easy going and respectful nurse. I am no Mary Poppins but I do love team work and will always be apart of the house cleaning and chores. I am always up for a chat but also respect your privacy and space. I work shifts (no night duties) and I also teach at a university. I love seeing the sky and doing anything outside but also very much enjoy an inside ‘blob’ day every now and then. I am no party girl but do enjoy a nice night in or out with a wine and a seafood platter. I am looking for a room in a house that is clean, has good light and a space I can call my own. I would love to have roommates that are friendly, clean, a little fun and also respect my time-out time. I am also happy to live with boys and girls.
I'm a professional petsitter and freelance design editor by career so I'm rarely home - except of course to look after my two precious kitties, Louis + Minty, who come with me. Well educated and even-temperamented, I'd like to relocate to a lifestyle suburb to make best use of my downtime - cafes, beach, walks, good bookstores and film etc. Looking for a mature, low-maintenance house, a place ideally with a terrace/garden/courtyard for my cats, and my good company if you choose!
I've been studying Building and Construction at Tafe and I've been working as joiner during the day and as bar staff at night 6 days on week. I have no problem to help with the cleaning and to keep the house tidy. I like to socialize but I respect the individuality of my housemates
30-year-old management consultant. Work in the city, travel frequently for work. Clean, respectful and an open communicator. Past my party years but still going hard on wining and dining, binge watching strange international films, and sourdough hunting. Enjoy housemate dinners (think wine and sourdough) every now and then.
Hi, I'm Loren, 31 years old and I work in events marketing for a large media organisation. During the week I like chilling out at home and catching up with friends for dinner. I'm neither a party animal nor a party pooper. My friends say I'm funny, clever, caring and loyal... all in all, I think I'll be a top notch housemate. I'll share a croissant with you, but I won't share my bacon sandwich. I won't steal your coffee because I don't drink it, but I'd love to have a margarita/G&T with you. I'm currently living in Glebe and would like to find a new home that's close to public transport (no car!), not too far from the ocean or my office in Pyrmont. Hope to hear from you soon!
Looking for Easy going Flatmate. Need Quiet apartment. No parties. Work shift work so sleep all times of the day. Like my privacy but happy to have a meal and share a wine every now and again. Don’t want to live with a couple just 1 flatmate
I’m Chris, a 26 year old Adelaide boy who is moving to Sydney to kick off his software engineering career. I’ve lived in shared accomm for years so I’m good at living with different types of people. I like to chill out and listen to music in my downtime but I’m also open to the occasional share house gathering.
Im from a small European country called Estonia. If you have ever met any Estonians then you should know that we keep to ourselves unless you dont want us to. We know how to party but we are very respectful and also know when to shut up. The place that I am looking for would be ideal if its quiet during the week and an occasional get together over the weekend. I don't want to move somewhere where everyone hides in their rooms. I like to talk about my day over a glass of wine so looking for people who do the same. It would be nice if the place has an outside area aswell. If the room has an aircon then it would be amazing, I have survived one summer without it and wouldn’t do it to myself again. I work from Tuesday-Saturday as a Lash Technician in a salon in Rozelle. It's important to have public transportation near by as I dont drive. I absolutely love cleaning and keep everything nice and tidy at all times (a bit OCD). I wouldn't mind any pets in the household, I absolutely adore them and wouldnt mind going for a walk with them (that's therapy). Over the weekend I like to go to the beach, have a barbeque and a few drinks with friends or just chill. I am really easy to get a long with and friendly. If that sounds like someone you'd like to live with then message me, please :)
I’m Monique, I work full time at RPA; I’m clean and quiet; looking for a relaxed, quiet house. Ps. Thanks everyone for your messages, sorry have been busy at work, will get back to you when the week is through. Thanks.
Hi there, I’m looking to rent a room in an existing sharehouse or begin a new sharehouse with 2-3 people. My ideal suburb choices would be Glebe, Ultimo, pyrmont, or Leichart. About me; I’m an artist from Tasmania looking to enjoy what Sydney has to offer for the year. At home I appreciate a quiet environment and tidy and clean common areas. I like a home where we can enjoy each other’s company but also understand the need for our own down time. I’m not interested in a party home. If you are interested in teaming up or have a room available that suits please message me on here. Cheers, Kelly
Hi! My name's Marley and I'm 20 years old from Sydney! I'm just having a little look at some places available to suss out if I can move out of home this year :) full-time student at Sydney Uni working in retail, tryna move out of home! I'm organised, responsible and clean and love to meet new people!
Just moved over to Sydney after living and working in London for the past 4 years as designer and art director. However I've decided to leave the cold, wet and rainy England behind to come work in Australia for the next year+. I'm a well traveled and social but also I respectable of my housemates space, living in London has made me a house share veteran. I'm looking to have a house that I can call a home but also well located to explore Sydney. I’m happy to hang out with my housemates for a drink or to cook dinner together but also respect their space.
