Hey there! I'm a 19 year old American traveling through Oz on a work and holiday visa! I've been in this beautiful country for just about 7 months now. I worked in a pub for 6 months in Perth and recently moved over to the east coast. I spent a couple of weeks walking dogs in Sydney and now I'm in the Byron area looking for work and somewhere to live! I'm very chilled out and friendly. I'm pretty social, but also value alone time. I'm very tidy and respectful so you won't have to worry about me turning the place into a shit hole. I'm a very easy going gal so feel free to message me! Cheers, Meg :)
Hey guys, Im moving up to the Byron region in the next month. I currently live in Coffs Harbour (home town) I currently have my own freelance florist business down here but I'm looking to expand into Byron. I'd love to live with some young creatives, healthy living, social and fun. Im very easy going and generally a very positive person. I'm single and looking to make some nice new friends within the community. Look forward to hearing back from you. Alice
Hi, I'm Anna! I'm Irish. A health food nut. Love to cook (and eat!) fresh, tasty, nourishing food. A yogi. A surf novice. An explorer. Most of all, I'm a curious enthusiast - I love to learn from (and contribute to) a community of like-minded people who share the same values, ethos and passion for life as me. I'm a freelance web & graphic designer and marketing consultant. I also work in the health foods industry - all areas, as I love it!
I am a paediatric occupational therapist, recently moved to the area and working for a mobile therapy service. I am passionate about surfing and nature and use this within my practice and work as it encompasses a lot of my everyday life! I am very easy going, take pride and care of where I live, and enjoy cooking for others (more than I would for myself), being in the ocean, and working creatively on projects. Cooper is completing his PhD in Sustainable beekeeping practices for rural communities in PNG. Coops is a mad keen surfer, enjoys building things (like his bee hives) and is super easy to get along with- respectful, kind and fun loving guy. We are looking for a place to be able to peacefully complete work from home at times, and to enjoy the outdoor space to be able to create in. We would take great care and pride in any space offered to us, and easy to get along with :) Look forward to meeting you Aims, and Coops
Student. Casual worker. More than the sum of the parts. I have widely varied musical tastes (whilst respecting volume levels) and enjoy getting amongst it, wether that be hiking to the top of the mountain or snorkeling to find nemo. I cook a mean roast or BBQ, I cook a sub par risitto but an working on that. I cannot walk tight rope, nor juggle. I do have a mean as frisbee and hackysack game though. I am a conscientious and empathethic flatmate. I have no pets but I love animals. I rarely party but when I do you better hope you have a camera handy.
So - a bit about me. I'm living in Sydney at the moment, having returned from some time overseas just under 2 years ago. I'm a mature, single female, I'm easy going and respectful of other's privacy and have great rental and professional/personal references. I am an Australian Citizen of UK birth. I am sociable, happy to share a glass of wine, and the occasional meal, but I'm not looking for a party house. If I do share (I'm also looking for a granny flat style accommodation) then I prefer to only share with one or two others at the most. I love living near nature, so a city house is not what I'm looking for. I have two very well behaved pets - a cat called Kitwe (who is a very lazy neutered boy, sleeping most of the day and night away) and a beautiful (small) border collie called Mr Finn. Both are rescues and I actually brought Mr Finn back with me from South Africa (my cat is Australian and went with me to SA and came home again). They are both neutered and I keep them well groomed and clean. I walk my dog for 2 hours a day so he is a relaxed dog and causes no problems. As you can tell I am very fond of my pets and take great care of them. They are clean, house-trained and my rental references for the last 7 years are for properties where they both lived with me.
We are a very friendly couple who love to meet new people and socialize, but also enjoy down time spent alone. With one of us being a passionate cook and the other being a clean freak we would be ideal house mates! We are from Geelong in Victoria and are looking for a whole new life in Northern NSW! We love the beach, being outdoors and exploring new places! We love to travel and try to do 1 overseas trip a year minimum
Hi, I'm looking for a room to rent. I’m working in Byron. I'm neat, tidy and a conscious person. I enjoy a chat and I also like my own space. I am a non smoker, non drinker and I am drug free. I am looking for a household that is non smoking and drug free. Somewhere I can relax and chill out. I have a beautiful 12 year old spoodle. He is very well behaved and doesn’t shed hair. I have great references too. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I'm originally from Spain. Been in Australia for five years, now a permanent resident. I'm a chef, and in my spare time I like getting into nature and different activities. I'm independent, active and healthy. Prefer a non party house.
Hey! I’m Ando, 21 years old and orginally from Melbourne, but am moving up North for work. I’m a currently undertaking my carpentry apprenticeship, so I work full-time Monday-Friday. I’m a very friendly, happy and easy to get a long with guy. In my spare time, I love surfing, heading out around the coast and a drink with friends. I’d hope to become mates with my new roommates, but also respect other people’s downtime, property and can keep everything clean.
Hey :) I'm 21 and from Germany. I am traveling for over a year now and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. I am looking for an apartment in walking distance to some shops and a bus station to stay a few months at one place and save up some money. I'm an easygoing person and I would love to hear from you if you have an avalible room near Byron bay :) Leo
Harry and I are really fun and friendly people- who are also really tidy. Harry is studying to be a chef and cooks amazing food! He is a chilled surfer from Lennox Head. I work at Cotton on most days of the week, and love going to the gym. And our dog, Billie, is one of the cutest and cuddliest dogs in the world- and she LOVES chasing waves at the beach!
Hi I’m Mel, 33, looking for a studio or potentially a share house that’s pet friendly. I’m a nurse, like to keep busy. Not a couch potato. Like to surf (beginner), walk my dog every day, do pottery classes in Byron. Clean, tidy, don’t mind socialising with the odd wine but definitely not a party animal, homes usually a place to chill out for me. Looking for a place that’s secure with a reasonable yard for my friendly three year old border collie. She’s well behaved and gets along with everyone.
I'm an independent, responsible and tidy person who has been flat-sharing for years. Very mindful of others loves nature and is a music collector and lover. If there were the opportunity for two rooms I would be open to this as I would love some space to put a music studio. I work away most weekends so you would only see me during the week. I'm looking to live with people who are considerate, clean, kind, open-minded and fun. I'm ready to move from the 30th of April. Hope to connect with you soon :) Jason
Hey guys, recently moved to Byron. I work full time in recruitment by day and in my spare time I like surfing, keeping fit, cooking and all the other good things in life. I am very social but understand people need their own space. Looking for people who are similar. Would like to live in a clean, tidy place with some housemates I can call friends. My binge drinking days are probably behind me but don’t mind at few beers every now and again. Any questions then please just ask
Hi there my name is Olivia, Im a 21 year old full time pre school teacher in byron bay, student, non smoker and clean female. I mostly keep to my self, like to do my own thing, spend most of my time at work, the beach, gym or studying.
Hi I'm moving up to northern NSW at the start of June. Looking to find a room in a share house, a bungalow or even team up and rent a house :) Can be a bit of a hermit. But enjoy art, exploring nature, and a boogie! Work in early childhood education :)
Don’t really know the area. Normally would prefer to live in a more remote location but likely to do some interstate travel so happy to be close to the airport. $400 is upper limit. Professional from Vic checking out warmer weather for the winter with the view of moving permanently. Want to live close to beach. Keen to swim every day and kayak, and need waves for a beginner surfer. Non smoker...need a non-smoking home, non drinker (happy to be around light social drinkers but if u give it a belt, I’m not for you) relaxed, don’t cook. Will do some work from home. Currently live in small coastal town. Not a fan of tourists even when I am one! And I love dogs.
Very tidy, relaxed, and easy-going roommate! Will be completing some schooling and have at least a part time job. I enjoy cooking, being outside / active, and the beach! I am currently looking to complete an "internship" (job) for University which requires me to get a job in a hotel, so if you are near any that sweetens the deal!
Hey guys, we are currently living in Palm Beach, which we love, but they are tearing down the buildings right next to us to build a 9 story unit, and we are hoping to find a more peaceful place to end our working holiday visa in. It runs out in July. We are shockingly open minded, have lived in shared accomodations before (and are living in one now), know how to behave and clean up after ourselves, we are very laid back and relaxed, we care about people and our surroundings, we love the sea, we are currently just trotting around the globe after a few very stressful years back home, taking it easy, but working to finance our travels.
I am currently living in Adelaide, south Australia with my two cats. I am looking to move back to nsw ( around lismore area) to be closer with my family. I am currently looking for work and study online in wildlife conservation. I am clean and i keep to myself i am a respectful house mate with no drama whos bills are always paid on time.
my human is a graphic designer (self employed) so i like all things design. I am mostly herbivore, so i wont be fondling meats in the kitchen making a mess :) I consume sushi & coffee more than what is probably legal to do in any country 🤣 . not a partier, but never deny a wine and conversation that friday evening. Love a good movie. dachshund appreciator but dont own a dog :). tidy and prefer living with women due to most* lads being too untidy. instagram stalker (photography). Lived in the Bay Bubble for 4yrs :) industrial rooms also 👌
Hi people, Im a fun, open minded, clean, German traveler who is looking for a short term rent, before I want to start traveling again. I'm slightly flexibel with the date I'm moving out, looking for a room asap though. Happy to hear from you :)
I'm an active person who absoutely loves sports (rugby league, soccer and any sport really). I grew up on the coast in Newcastle and would like the coastal lifestyle again. I will be moving up to ballina in April to start my new job as an engineer. I'm a super chilled person who loves the beach and chilling/meeting new people. Not a full on partygoer but do like a casual party here and there. Im super clean and tidy and have lived in a sharehouse for the past 2 years. Would love to share with someone that has similar traits and lives on the coast. I'm also keen on starting up a new sharehouse with suitable people.
An expat from San Diego, California who will be campervanning along the coast for the month of May. Come early June, my goal is to settle in Byron Bay and find a job in hospitality. I enjoy eating, going to the gym, having a sense of humor in the little things, and eating. I really like eating. Finding people to live with off of the Internet is always risky, so I've included a list of pros and cons to help you determine whether or not I may be a suitable candidate for your flatmate needs... Pros: - Weird sense of humor - Great American accent - It's like dark chocolate wrapped in velvet & dipped in butter - Frequently quotes pop-culture references from the likes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, John Mulaney, Jim Gaffigan, and more! - Some guy at a bar once said I look like Jesus, but he was drunk Cons: - Weird sense of humor - Enjoys football. Yes, the American kind - Infectious charm (Don't you hate how some people seemingly get along with everyone? Disgusting!) - Falls asleep during long movies - Might gently coerce you into sharing this bottle of wine with me And that about covers all the bases. I'm open to moving into an available room, or finding an entirely new place with a few people. Ideally something in between $200-$300 per week. Saved a ton before I left the States, so I'm financially secure enough to afford bond and rent until I find employment. I've lived with both males and females before, so I have no problems living with one, the other, or a mixed household of the two. Cool with pets. Non-smoker, but I am 4/20 friendly if you choose to partake in those activities. Shoot me a message if you're interested in arranging something. Looking forward to locking down a rad spot with you equally-rad people!
We’re keen on a lifestyle change, moving for my job to take things a bit slower and enjoy our surrounds and exploring the area with our greyhound Barbara, who is very cruisey and mostly sleeps. Katie’s a practice nurse and will be looking for work when we arrive. We’re tidy, respectful, relaxed, love local food and coffee, happy to cook the odd meal and share a cheeky beer (I work at a brewery and will share the spoils) or wine.
Coming from England to live and work in Byron bay until mid September before carrying on with my travels. I’m very easy going, friendly and tidy. I am a vegetarian and love cooking for myself and others (happy to cook meat for others) as I think dinner time is the most social time of the day! I lived in shared accommodation at university for 3 years sharing with up to 10 others in my final year, all of whom I am now still incredibly close with. I’ve just finished my second ski season in the French alps as a Chalet Girl so I can also clean very well!
Seeking a friendly housing situation with healthy creative people. All i require is place to park, shower and cook. My current situation is me living in my van, seeking full time hours with surf coaching and meeting new contacts. I'm a Creative, Health Conscious, Respectful guy. I enjoy films, games and music but also being out in nature. I have great references from my previous employment and realestate. Hope to hear from you soon, Jai.
I work full-time nightshift 3 days a week and I'm a producer in film industry with movie being filmed soon..I'm alot of fun but my fun isn't at home as I'm a beach guy loves spinning flame and chilling out or going clubbing or pub runs..I'm very low maintenance and understand people's needs..looking for long term
