QUT Student, looking to move into a house with cool flatmates just after Christmas (flexible with date: earliest move in date is 22 November) Friendly, outgoing , fairly tidy and terrible at cooking. Look for long term accommodation
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!
I am honest, reliable, clean and tidy - busy during the week with work (working as a PA at The Wesley Hospital) but enjoy being social and out and about on the weekends. Not a party animal but don't like being stuck in my room all of the time. I can cook and enjoy sharing dinner and wine with my housemates

My name is Ebony, I am 20 years old and i'm from Townsville, North Queensland. In the coming months, I along with my beautiful little Maltese Shitzu, Tilly, will be moving to Brisbane to persure a new Career. I'm very excited for what's to come my only trouble now being finding a home for us. I am a fantastic housemate who is clean, tidy, polite and very social. I enjoy being active and healthy and am very independent. I am moving to Brisbane into a full time, Monday to Friday position and am very money conscious. I also have a friend that is interested in getting a place and we would prefer to live with girls. I look forward to hearing from anyone who maybe interested in rooming up/getting a place with my friend and I. If anyone is interested please feel free to send me a message!! :)
Hi! We are looking for a nice place to live! Marshall is a full-time working electrician and Mina studies film production. We are friendly and reliable couple. We would like to live by ourselves, NOT shared with others, in a house or apartment, preferably on the North and West sides of Brisbane. We can't move in until 1st of January. If any of our neighbors have a cat they will be our (especially Mina´s) best friends :) Please contact us if you have anything that could be of interest! Cheers, Marshall and Mina
Hi everyone! My name is Anna. I am very active. I do a lot of sports, will definitely need a fitness club near by. I will always respect your privacy. I am friendly and tidy. I work as an English teacher and love my job :-)
21, just looking at moving to Brisbane, hairdresser. I am respectful and tidy, like to have fun on the weekends
Looking for a private room (no shared rooms please) with my own bathroom and a secure place to park my motorcycle (happy to squeeze next to a car). Ideally, I'd like to start/join 2-3 other people in a share house or large apartment. I work full time at an environmental engineering consultancy 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, playing tennis, touch footy and going to the gym. I like to stay quiet during the week but am always keen for a drink and meeting new people on Friday and over the weekend. I am orderly and clean after myself, and am looking for likeminded people in that regard.
I am clean, respectful and friendly. Due to start a degree in Medical Laboratory Science at QUT in 2017 and I would like to find a place where I can study but get along with other housemates. I am very laid back and wouldnt mind if there were parties, as long as I can have my space when needed. Would prefer to live with people close to my age who are open minded and easy going but also responsible.
Hey gang, my name is Sophie and I'm a mostly functional human being in need of a new space. I'm about to complete my third year in law/justice, and stay pretty busy during the week working in the city and completing professional placements. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, so I like to spend my weekends there when I can. I'm easygoing, clean, respectful, sociable, a foodie and pretty driven (for at least the last few weeks of semester). Always up for dinner and a wine/g&t or weekend brunch. I have a bunch of brand new appliances and furniture, so I'm definitely open to teaming up (but I do have storage if need be). I'm also keen on puppers if you have one. Location isn't too important to me, so long as I steer clear of the south side and stay fairly inner city. Looking forward to finding you, Sophie
Just looking for a room a few days a week in Brisbane while I study at QUT. I am down to earth and keep things clean. I love yoga and food and all things tea related. Let me know if you're after a homie for your homie ;)
G'day potential housemates, so I'm an easy going, friendly sociable Aussie female. At the same time, I also respect that we all like to have some 'me time'. I'm looking to share with female/s in a house in any suburb between Corinda and Red Hill.
Hi! I am a recent graduate from QUT looking to start my masters within the year. I work 20-40 hours per week at Westfield Chermside and I'm always either there, on set on productions, at an internship, or in my room writing or watching Netflix (which I have a subscription to and could share with flatmates). I am quiet, I only cook if I know I can clean everything up straight after, and I have a boyfriend of 3 years (so no bringing strangers home!). I currently live on the Sunshine Coast and the commute is killing me. My boyfriend and I would also like to trial living together so it would be great if he could either move in too or if he'd be welcome 2-3 nights per week. He's a great vegan cook, very very clean, and a fantastic singer and guitarist in a touring band (so he can either serenade you over his famous burrito bowls or make himself scarce quite often when the band is travelling Australia and overseas). I am always up for a sneaky vino after work/internship/production and have great respect for everyone which I base on open communication and kindness.
Hey there! Friendly, easy-going couple that likes to socialise and have few drinks on the weekend. Enjoy music, food and exercise. Dani, 23, is studying law full-time in her final semester and Jay, 26 works full time in IT.
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
HEYYYY!! Im an easy going 31 yr old that loves life but also loves the small things in life!! I never judge a book by its cover & appreciate every second of every day!! ive def had my ups & downs in life but ive grown & learnt from my mistakes. im easy as 2 get along with & give everyone the time of day!! I believe my home is my haven/heaven so trust & respect are a must!! I can party hard but put my arse up & head down wen I hav to!!! I have no pets but eventually (& I mean eventually) I wouldn't mind a small pet of some kind.)
I'm female, come from VietNam and I curently study at QUT for IT course first year. I'm looking for a nice, quiet house share which i can have my own private room and own bathroom if possible. Internet and bills include in renting fee and a proper contract.
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).
Hey Guys, Unfortunately my current flatmate at the place I have been living in for the past 2 years need to break the lease for personally reason. So I am looking for a place (either en suite or with own bathroom, I am quiet clean that is why I don't like sharing bathroom :( ) to move into. I have my own furniture however happy to move into a furnished house :D I have finished my degree in Bachelor of Applied Science and recently enrolled into a business course. So most of the time I will be in my room studying. I also have two part time jobs at the moment so I guess I wont be home much either. But when i am at home, I am a great and fun company to hang out. I am a very spontaneous person outside the house however at home I do prefer a quiet and tidy lifestyle. I do prefer to stay in a house where people see me as a friend not just someone who is occupying the room. So hit me up if you have a place for me :D
I'm a Finn in Australia for Working Holiday, landed in Australia two months ago and been living in Brisbane for tree weeks now. I recentely started working full-time in Spring Hill district, so I'm interested in moving there and being closer to my work. At the moment I live in a shared flat and share a room, but I would prefer to move to a single room. I'm planning to stay and work in Brisbane for 3-4 months from now, since I really like this city and after that continue my travel. I'm looking for a furnished room with all bills included, wifi is a must. As a tenant, I'm very reliable, tidy, calm, respectful for the flat, and neighbours, don't cause trouble or noise and pay rent always on time. I'm used to living with different kinds of people, sharing the household chores and also becoming friends while sharing an apartment. I have graduated from university three years ago and after that been in working life, so the era of student parties from my part has gone and I represent more peaceful and adult backpacker. In other words, no need to stress about me throwing after parties or crashing your place, since I'm more a fan of a good night sleep. :)
Hi!I am a 28 years old laid back girl from Reunion Island. I just moved 3days ago to Brisbane,im currently looking for a Job in Hospitality. I dont smoke and i love to cook ,i really enjoy to spend some time with my flatmates.
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are about to come back to Australia (on November 17) and we are looking for somewhere awesome!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us. We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is an outside dog and prefers to stay outside as she is a rescue dog. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; so if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
My name is Caitlyn Adams, I'm 19 and currently studying at Griffith uni on the south side of Brisbane, however am wanting to move to the north side to transfer to QUT. I am open-minded, friendly, considerate and always clean-up after myself. I love to socialize and don't mind a social drink or two on weekends, however am relatively quiet during weekdays. I enjoy cooking, travel and music and am always up for an adventure and meeting new people. On my weekends I quite like to go out with friends, chill at home with a movie or even explore the city and surrounds. I am looking to move in with like-minded people who don't mind to have a chat and will make the place feel friendly with a good vibe. Please feel free to send me a message or find me on facebook! :)
I am a holistic practitioner in my 30s moving to Brisbane for a graduate degree (the course starts in November so looking to find a place by the 7th) and looking for a private room, preferably larger size, furnished or semi-furnished, with an ensuite ideally. My preferred move in date is on or before Thursday 3rd November. I have an affectionate mostly indoor elderly cat, who sleeps all day, so I am looking for somewhere pet-loving. He gets along with other pets, mostly by ignoring them! I am into a healthy vegetarian lifestyle, live music, markets, the arts, a serious film buff & cafe lover, love my down time, but also a good chat and an occasional outing. Also love gardening, so access to a yard or leafy verandah would be lovely...If this sounds like a fit give me a shout, thanks!
Hello! I will be heading back to full-time uni at QUT changing my course to a Bachelor of Mass Communication (Entertainment and Media & Communication). I am a very positive gal, who loves keeping active, the beach and anything to do with art and music. I am a very tidy person, always clean up after myself and respect shared areas. I love socialising and exploring parts of the city but also like having private down time. I am looking for an apartment in a great location, sharing with mainly all females.
Hey I have a dog Nahla who loves walks, runs and laying about. I am looking for a place that has a yard for her and with people that are good with dogs and easy going. I am respectful, clean and reliable. Easy to get along with and tolerant of all kinds of people. I study at UQ part time and am currently staying and working in Gympie with family, I am originally from Brisbane and have jobs lined up for when I have a place. Also, I have my own furniture although don't have to bring everything/can bring things that may be needed. Basically I am looking for an empty room and if there is anything the house needs I could help (fridge/washing machine)
Pretty cruizy gal. I recently graduated from uni studying public relations and media and culture. I currently work for a sustainable fashion label and vintage store in Paddington where i get to meet alot of creatives and be crafty. You'll probably find me at the beach, a gig, a market, cafe or opshop on the regular. I'm pretty independent, clean up after myself and considerate but am always down to hangout, eat good cheese and maybe down some wine on a nice porch couch. Into living sustainably and reducing plastics also!
easy going, full time professional.... working full time and studying, so keep fairly quiet... clean and tidy and respectful of others
Looking for a fun new roommate? Look no further than this 21 year old nursing student! I'm relaxed, friendly, clean and always up for a good time; whether that mean a good night out or staying in with the fam watching crappy tv, its all a good time! I'm coming into my last year of university, work part-time and play a sport at least once a week. While I love and respect privacy, I am always ready for late night chats and dnms :)
I'm clean and tidy yet laid back and respectful of the people I'm living with (e.g. Being quiet late at night). I'm a first year student going on second year and will be working part time. I'm creative, love spending time with my family and am very drama free and easy to live with.
I'm an easy going employed 29yr old, looking for an easy going flatmate. I'm a sharer and a carer, but not one to be taken advantage of. Always happy to help out, so long as it can one day be returned. I like to be able to have a chat, but appreciates my own space as well. I like a place that keeps clean and tidy...but am by far a clean freak. Preferably, I'd like to just share house with 1 or 2 other flatmates max. Would also be up to renting a granny flat or 1bed apartment, if anything is available.
PRIVATE ROOM ONLY I'm a clean, tidy, friendly, sociable kinda person. If I'm not hanging out at home, I'll be catching up with friends and family. I enjoy all the usual stuff; dinners, drinks, movies etc, etc! Essentially I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm very respectful of others space and privacy but love the odd catch-up every now and then.
Hey I'm Gen :) I'm 19 and working at Boost in the city at the moment. I'm really laid back and love to be social when I'm not at work, so if I'm not watching netflix or listening to music in my room I'm usually out doing something. Currently looking for a place close to public transport as I do not own a car, and preferably close to the city with people that I can have good chats to and enjoy a drink or several with on the weekends haha. I'm not really into cooking but I can make a pretty good spaghetti bolognese. I really want to learn guitar and see the world! I've been to Thailand, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the USA so far but everywhere else is on my list. Looking for someone who is comfortable with me dancing to Beyonce on frequet occasions and seeing me walk around the place with a green face mask on. If you think we might be a good fit I'd love to hear from you! My current lease ends 20 of November so I'm looking for a place by then :)
Easy going, friendly, tidy, not a dickhead. Isn't that what we all want in a housemate? 25 years old, studying a Bachelor of Media and Communication, working casually outdoors. Flexible in where I'm living in Brisbane, but Northside is preferable.
We are a couple in our mid-twenties working full time and studying. Pete works as a compliance officer for the Qld Gov and Reece is studying graphic design and animation at QUT. We have gorgeous and very affectionate whippet pup named Bolt, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for one or more housemates to team up with and live in either a house, apartment or townhouse. We have couches, a TV, internet and Netflix subscriptions, a fridge and washing machine to bring along. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working and sensible when we need to be. On weekends, we like to head to the local markets, get outdoors (hikes and kayaking) or head down to the Gold Coast to visit family and friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time. Ideally, we would like to live with other mature students or professionals. Oh, and you must love dogs!

I'm 23 years old Indonesian looking for a room/studio to rent. I have been living in Adelaide, SA, for 4 years (3 years as a uni student) and now planning to move to Brisbane to explore more opportunities. I am clean, tidy, organised, and pretty quiet at home, although i'm happy to hang out with my housemates every now and then. I'm open minded, value my privacy, on time, and don't really mind if my housemates have friends visiting/staying over as long as i get a heads up. I don't really watch TV but i do love watching movies/tv shows using my netflix account regularly :p I'm a huge foodie so i divide my time cooking and trying out new places to eat. So you don't have to worry about me taking over the kitchen haha. Feel free to ask me more questions! :)
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my red wine and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Amanda
Hi Y'all! I'm Meg! I'm friendly, always up for a chat and enjoy all things food, clean and tidy. I work full-time so on the weekends I like to enjoy a drink and get out of the house. Hoping to meet new people, who I can have a laugh & a few drinks with, as I 'm relatively new to Brisbane. I'm also studying a Post-Grad Diploma in Counselling.
We're two students (one at QUT studying Health Information Management and one at UQ studying Anthropology), both working part-time, looking to move into a shared apartment or house, ideally a 3-bedroom. We're looking for other students and people around our age to live with, we're fairly laid-back and enjoy having guests around occasionally, and have no issues with you doing the same. We're friendly people and would prefer living with someone who we can get along with and get to know. The moving-in date listed is flexible - it's the day the lease on our current place runs out but we can move out a few weeks earlier if necessary.

I love going to the gym and having fun, but I'm also very balanced as I work fulltime and enjoy being in a clean household. I also have an awesome small dog that you'd love! Hey, looking at moving back to Brisbane just before Christmas this year, after spending some more time with family in Central Queensland.. I Currently work as an educator in a local school, but will be unemployed for my move to Brisbane (I'm sure it wont take long to find a job, hoping to secure somewhere to call home first before looking for jobs) I have lived in share houses previously, and looking for easy going, like minded people, who like to keep their own space but also like to socialize. Looking around Newmarket/Ashgrove area, but will consider all areas at this stage with a weekly max rent of $160.... Ideally after a furnished room, but unfurnished room would also suit as I can move my bed down with me!
I'm independent, work full time, non-smoker. I'm fairly quiet during the week and don't mind a wine or two on the weekends. I'm very respectful of others.
