Thank you !I'm really happy to live with friendly and helpful housemates and it is my grateful to make new friends. My studies background in Accounting and I come from Melbourne.
My name is Alexandra, I'm a third year Bachelor of Nursing student at The Australian Catholic University. I've got 6 months remaining until the completion of my degree and am looking to stay for that period of time and possibly an additional year depending on post-graduate nursing placement. I am tidy, friendly and respectful of housemates personal space and privacy, however, I am down to hang out in front of the tele or whip up some baked goods in the kitchen! I have a friendly doggo that I'd love to live with but I understand this may not be viable so she has permission to become a tenant with my family. I proudly own a deep box freezer for various frozen goods. I also own other furniture if required.
My husband and I are looking for short term accomadation, preferabley fully furnished but not essential until our new home is ready in October/November We have a small 3 year old cavoodle. She is non shedding and well behaved inside dog. We are non smokers, quiet and both work full time.
About me : I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Employed & financially secure. About me : Creative and inquisitive soul... Enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, eating (fairly) healthy. Looking for : inner north suburb preferably. Large room with space for queen bed, desk, bookshelf. Prefer a nice, relaxed and quiet household where one can unwind and rest and sleep without interruption. Enjoy reading and listening to music, watching TV some nights (ABC / SBS / Netflix), playing acoustic guitar, sharing a meal now and then, etc... Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Most of my friends are aged in their 30s so sharing around that age group would suit. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
Hi, Flatmates! My partner (Kelly) and I (Jack) are looking for a place to call our own in the capital. We have both recently relocated from Perth to Canberra for work/study opportunities. I work for the Dept. of Infrastructure and Regional Development in their Aviation Security area and Kelly works for the Dept. of Agriculture and will be studying at Charles Sturt University. We both enjoy cooking (and food) above all as well as exploring the outdoors and are keen to experience everything our new home has to offer. We would be looking to move into a place from the 12th of July onwards, looking to fit into an unfurnished room in an already established, furnished house. If we should like we’d be a good fit for your place please don’t hesitate to contact me. Hope to hear from you soon, JD & KC
Hey there! Moving out of my sharehouse in Hackett in July and looking for a room with some cool people :) Reasons why I reckon I'm great to live with: 1) Love to have conversations about everything. Seriously, from history/political events to the pineapple pizza debate (pro-pineapple btw), just pick a topic and go. 2) Aires; this month I will find a new beginning, so that's something 3) Banter game strong 4) Own a BBQ and cook some mean burgers (American mother, it's in my blood); can lend it to my friend if there's no space as well, no dramas. 5) Lived overseas (HK and Taiwan) for a collective 10 years before moving back to Australia for uni 6) Play a little bit of bass so any drummers/musicians in the house holla at your boy and lets jam 7) Spag bog is also in the repertoire 8) I'm very tall (can reach high shelves on request) 9) Mediocre at all things video game related 10) Board game fanatic (if you play chess, I'll wanna play all the time) 11) Queenslander I've lived in a few sharehouses before so I'm pretty well versed on the general etiquette (clean/tidy), but also know that each place is different and will go in with an open mind, keen to make some friends out of it cause if you can't be friends with the people you live with then that's just sucky. Send me a message if you think we'd get along and we can have a chat over a coffee/wine! Flexible with move in dates past July 1st
I am wanting somewhere to stay that is a self contained, one bedroomed unit or granny flat where I will stay ( mainly Sunday to Thursday) each week. Sometimes my husband will join me. We live in Wagga; I am a professional person, quiet and live in a spotless home in Wagga (our own) so would want a bright and cheerful place with light and off street parking if that was possible. I'll be working in Deakin, ACT.
I'm a 26 professional moving to Canberra from Brisbane in the next couple of weeks to start a new job. Looking for a clean, tidy place ideally sharing with 1 or 2 other females. I am friendly, quiet, considerate, tidy. When I come home, I just want to relax and wind down... so sharing with someone with a generally calm nature like myself would be ideal. Would also love to share a chat and an occasional meal or wine together.
I am a non-smoker who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. Added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work, I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Nearby gym & swimming pool -Indoor aircon & heating -Dryer for clothes -Internet (preferably NBN) -Garage space (for my car & 2 bikes - 1 bike will be stored inside my bedroom since it will only be used for weekend trainings) -A small yard with garden hose to wash my bikes

Hey, I am a 25-year-old male from Wollongong, looking for a place to live down in Canberra as I have just gotten a job in the public service. I am clean and tidy, and my curry and pulled pork skills are pretty damn fantastic. Huge fan of cricket, rugby, live music, movies, trivia, and doing absolutely nothing. I am looking for a share house (apartment/flat/treehouse) somewhere close to the city with people who are keen on having a chat, watching things, or just passing one another in the hallway with a tired hello. Love all (well most) people no matter what background, lifestyle, or sports team you follow. Please feel free to give me a message if you think you have a room that I would be keen on. Cheers.

Hi there, I'm Kiah, I am living in Sydney at the moment in an awesome apartment, studying and mostly working. I'm relocating to Canberra early July, and would like to find a great new place to call home for the next 6 months to a year, or more. I'm very tidy and clean, like to socialise with my housemates, but also love personal space/privacy and respect others. Please message if you'd like to get in contact :)
I want to rewrite this better.. but for now: I currently work in the offensive side of IT security, previously been in the startup/entrepreneur space, and am a polyglot developer by trade. I try to balance my tech side with getting out there and enjoying the finer sides of life, be that camping at a doof with friends, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, trampolining, bouldering, etc. I have such a wide array of interests it's hard to list in a little box here. Open minded and pretty easy going with most things, evenings could equally be spent binging an interesting series as they could be philosophical discussions or hacking on some new project idea. Really looking for a perfect fit kind of housemate, and would sooner continue renting as just 2 than add someone who doesn't fit "for the sake of it". Relatively clean, but not going to get anal about a speck of dust here and there so long as it's not impacting on health/life (and we opt for getting a cleaner in monthly to ensure it doesn't become an issue, as it tends to end up in so many share houses). I follow a paleo'ish/bulletproof lifestyle, pretty but focus on health/wellness/performance, so someone that fits those ideals would be awesome. Interested in finding cool people on a similar wavelength of personal growth, development, fun and freedom; and realising that maybe the right fit is going to be further outside of our current circles. Jason's a teacher. Will probably get him to write some stuff for here later. If any of this piques your interest, reach out and let's chat, see if there is a match :)
I am a young working professional from Melbourne and working in Canberra until the end of December. I'm looking for a fully furnished room to rent until December (though I won't be in Canberra most weekends). For fun I like to play volleyball, watch movies, or read. I'm also planning some day trips to Perisher this winter!
Chill, professional, open-minded guy seeking a relaxed and fun person/bunch to live with (ideally a gender-balanced house). I usually work on foreign aid projects in warm, exotic places, but will be spending the next 18 months working in Canberra. I tend to be active and love being in the ocean or tearing down a track on my mountain bike. Not into partying much anymore (although I can be coaxed into a night out) but do enjoy a social night in with a few drinks and a good movie, or a good book. Often found trying to cook gourmet dishes, sometimes even known to strum a guitar (poorly). The thought of a Canberra winter terrifies me and I don't really know anyone there yet, so I'll most likely spend my time defrosting in front of the heater until the warmer months roll around :) Some fun facts about me: - Once caught a pig in a swimming race (I won) - Almost tumbled into a lava pit during a holiday - Favourite movies include Dr Strangelove, Casablanca, The Truman Show and Blade Runner - Travelled to about 30 countries, lived in 8 Oh, and I'm open to other suburbs and also higher weekly rents if it's all good.
