Hi I am Sophie. I am currently studying aged care with other plans to attend University in the future. I am passionate about helping people, writing: love music, reading, quantum physics, psychology and thinking deeply! I am easy to get along with, and love people from all walks of life. I am clean and tidy and considerate of all people. I love conversations but am equally happy to spend time alone. I am looking for accommodation for a minimum of 3 months to 12 months but I am flexible. A quiet and private place to study that is fully furnished, plus inclusive of bills and internet would be ideal for me- in an area that is fairly close to ammenities and shops. Please feel free to message or call me at any time to have a chat or ask questions if I sound like the sort of person you’d like to share your home with.
I work full-time, Monday to Friday and also study part time at uni. I'm a pretty relaxed go with the flow kinda person. Would prefer a place with people who are happy to have chat every so often. I do not have any pets.
23 years old, moving up from Brisbane for work. I've lived in both Australia and Texas. Friendly and easygoing, doesn't party and prefers quieter weekends. I'll keep the apartment clean and I'll only be in Townsville three days a week so most of the time the apartment will be pretty quiet. I like to read and dance and explore cities. I've lived in apartments with others before in Uni and know how to share space. Only looking to room with other girls.
Clean, respectful, happy to have a chat and hang out but also happy to be a bit of a recluse. Interests in music, art, travel and hiking. In my spare time I'll be going for walks, watching netflix or doing pilates. I counteract the positive effects of exercise with red wine and chocolate - got to keep the balance. I'll be working full time as an Audiologist so will be busy during the week, and on weekends I'm hoping to explore Townsville and its surrounds when I have the energy. My partner will also come up from Brisbane every couple of months to visit.
I am moving back to Townsville in December after 3 years in Brisbane. Prior to that, I rented out the rooms in my home to between 3 and 5 International Uni Students for 8 years from 2007 to 2015. I lived with them also and it was the most amazing experience. I am looking for accomodation in North Ward, the City or Belgian Gardens. I am a mature, single woman and work part time in Aged Care and in the Disability Sector.
I am a young girl who usually spends her time working, at the gym and will usually go out to the town on weekends. I do like some privacy, but I would love to meet some new people and share good energy with everyone. The only times I am home is usually the night and also weekends, I am a childcare worker so I spend a lot of late nights at work. I am looking for a room to rent, I definitely am not picky with anyone I’m very flexible.
Out going, easily adaptable person, love to meet new people. I am a relatively new local to Townsville and currently studying (not at JCU) and working part time. Hit the books pretty hard during the week but always up for the some banter, adventure and beverages on the weekend :))))) Currently living in a share house in northward, moving due to end of lease. Looking for a place close to down town, ideally in 2 weeks but am flexible. I am a light packer so looking for a furnished room if possible.
I've just made the leap back across the pond from London and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I work in the city in Law Admin during the week and like to spend weekends exploring the Townsville surroundings. I like to keep school nights rather tame and will talk about doing the hill or keeping fit more than I will. Have been in share houses for years and respect the balance of house dinners with a wine or two and wanting your own space
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
Hey, my names Angie. I'm an English, I moved to Townsville for work in the youth sector and looking at somewhere to stay. I do work shift work so some nights I wouldn't be there due to sleep over shifts. I'd say I'm quite an easy going lass and can generally get on well with everyone. I don't mind a night out, a few friends over for a bottle of wine or just a night in reading a book. Interests: fitness, rock music, gaming, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, adventures, hikes, castle hill etc Looking at finding a nice, modern place with a good view from the balcony and a pool.
Hi there! I recently quit my full-time HR job to go traveling and am now moving up to Townsville to pursue the Marine Science dream at JCU in 2019. I will be studying full time, working part-time and like to keep myself busy with diving, gym, photography etc. I'm fairly social but also like my own space. I'm looking to live with some people that I might eventually call friends. Love animals! Bringing a car too.
I’m a 23 year old Occupational Therapist, looking for a new place to call home in Townsville. I’m tidy, respectful and pay my bills on time. I enjoy being social but don’t mind some quite time too! Happy to live with either males or females. Looking for a unit or townhouse around the City or North Ward.
Hi there my name is Frank and I am a very down to earth genuine and easy to get on with. Hi I'm Lydia I'm a 27 year old health professional originally from the UK. I am moving to Townsville in a few weeks for a new job so I'm looking for a place that I can call home, that is not too far from the strand (as I'm a beach bum ) with like minded people who are sociable and enjoy a drink or dinner occasionally. If that's you feel free to contact me Lydia x
Very friendly and easy going, like to have a few bevs of a weekend, love fitness and hitting the gym regularly, work full time so wont be home much during the weekdays. Very kept to myself, but always up to hangout and go adventuring. Clean and tidy as well, will be very respectful of privacy :)
Hi, I am about to start uni at James Cook doing Marine Biology, I plan on working as well. I'm looking for a home not just a share house, and looking for friendly housemates the like the occasional meal or drink together.
I'm Lena (22 yrs old) and I'm transferring to JCU to finish my marine biology degree for 1.5 years. I'm originally from California and previously studied in Hawaii. I'm interested in finding a room for both myself and my boyfriend (27 yr old dive instructor) to live in while I study and he works nearby. We are looking to move in during late January 2019. We are both very easy-going and used to living in a shared environment. All the best, Lena
I'm a 21 year old girl from Norway, taking a bachelor degree in bioinformatics. I will be at JCU for a semester this spring, and I'm looking for a great place to live while I do so. I would say I'm a social and easy going person, who is always up for some good fun and a new adventure.
I am easy going and bubbly. I usually keep myself pretty busy so won’t be home all the time. I am a teacher who enjoys a drink or two on weekends but I also like to have my own time every now and then. Looking for a housemate who is easy going as I move back to Townsville mid December. Would prefer a female housemate.
Fresh out of university and about to star a graduate job in Townsville. Moving from the Gold Coast so not familiar with the area. Looking for a room for short term maybe a month or two just to get my bearings a bit before hopefully finding my own place. Not sure what else to say, just drop me a message for more. Cheers.
