My name is Usha/Alexandra and I am 32 years young. My daughter "Sydney" is 6 years young and we are relocating to Australia after seven years in Germany!!! Finally!! :) We will arrive in October. Sydney will start school in Term 4 (15th October) and I will get back to work as a medical sales rep in November. We do have a beautiful hound dog, named Honey. She does not bark, has very short hair and generally is the best dog, you´ll probably ever meet! We went through a lot of trouble to fly Honey into the country as she is one amazing and gentle dog! If you didn´t know, you wouldn´t realize she is there. We are very harmonious loving people. We have a relaxed "live and let die" attitude. To expect people to leave a room, the way they found it- at least when it comes to shared spaces, I think should be normal. I am looking to stay somewhere until we find a flat, for the month of October. If it all suits, I would be happy to rent a house with other people, if it all fits together! We love being active and out and about. My daughter doesn´t have proper bedtimes or quiet times to keep. When she sleeps we don´t adjust the volume or anything. So I guess we are very easy to get along with! :) I speak French and German also.
Hey there! My name is Olivia but most people call me Liv or Livvy. I am currently working full time in the UK but in May I leave to go travelling through Asia and will end up in Sydney around the middle of August. I currently live in the countryside in a small county called Suffolk and I live on my family farm. I have traveled quite a lot and been to around 19 different countries. I love my music, there isn't a day where I don't listen to some! Once in Sydney I seek to get some bar work or office jobs depending on what I can get, I plan to stay for just under a year and then head North to gain my second year visa. I am a very active person and would look to join a hockey club but I also like going on a night out in the town once a month or so. Most of my friends would say that I am very out going and not a bad cook either, so if you're lucky I'll make you my signature cobb salad and profiteroles! I am a very tidy person I hate mess but I'm not a control freak either, I am also pretty domesticated I know how to clean, iron, wash, cook etc so I am happy to share the house chorus. My ideal housemates would be people that want to once a week or so have a night in cooking and watch a movie but also have our own lives! I would need them to also be open to having friend staying over, not on a regular basis but I may have the odd friend come over form the UK. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions! Thanks Livvy
Hey, my names Paddy I'm 22 and have recently moved from Adelaide to Sydney for full-time work. I'm clean and tidy and want to live with others who are similar. However I'm no bore and always up for a good laugh. I enjoy the outdoors, music festivals and gigs, my party days are somewhat finished! More than happy to contribute my part to chores, want to join and add to an already good vibe of a household. Thank you Paddy

Looking for a private room within 30 to 40 minutes of the city. I'll be working full time in the city. I envisage finding some fun housemates that are easy to get along with whether in an established share house or not. I'm clean and happy with pitch in with the household upkeep. I have past successful flatmates history. Hoping to move into a place with a dishwasher, but not absolutely essential.
My name is Stephen, I’m 26 and originally from Dublin, Ireland having also spent time living in Paris & Canada. I’m moving to Sydney on the 9th of June and am currently on the look out for a place to live. I working in Marketing & Advertising back home so ideally will be doing something similar when I get over to Sydney. Outside of work, I’m a very active person who loves going to gym & running as well as socialising & meeting new people.
Hi, my names Matt, i'm 25 and moving to Sydney for work. This will be my first time living in the city. I work full-time Mon-Sat in the engineering sector therefore i won't be around too much apart for nights. Every other weekend i will be travelling back to my current place of residence so won't be around too much. Keep to myself most the time but can be sociable. Love my sports and have it on as much as possible regardless of what it is. Really easy going and tidy. Also studying part-time through distance so live a busy life. Happy to live in a room anywhere really provided i have access to a train station to get to work and am able to park my car either off or on street.
I am a pretty quiet and reserved person, but am always up for a chat. im a fairly confident person who isnt afraid to talk and talk for hours, i do value personal space but i do also enjoy company no pets, no children yeah fairly standard just looking for a place to stay with a nice, friendly person
I'm a super easy-going gal, who doesn't like to cause a fuss. I'm good fun and love to chat. Currently working in hospo so bring home plenty of left overs... which are banging by the way! I'm tidy myself, but not necessarily a complete nazi to other people's way of living. I'm just down to earth and chill. Don't mind people who like to bring their friends back, a bit of a shindig from time to time is alright. I do like to keep myself to myself most of the times but definitely don't avoid people on purpose. Am always down for a chat if you fancy, or a glass of vino. Im open-minded, have no horrific right-winged views on anything and believe that positivity and love conquers all. Majorly into food and wine, cheese aswell! I like making pastries and cooking random things with a glass of wine and good music. I am a music lover also, who likes to get down n dirty on the dance floor de temps en temps. PEACE OUT! Jen xx
Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm making the big move to Sydney from Melbourne July 11th/12th. Looking to rent a furnished room (I'll have all my own bedding) for approximately 3 months minimum while job and apartment hunting. I do have a car so there needs to be either unrestricted parking or off street parking. I'll be respectful of your home, your space and am very reliable, clean, tidy and very easy to live with. I'm flexible with the area as long as it's not a long trip into the city. Thanks to those who have messaged, I will do my best to get back to you in the next day or so.
Hey We’re Ash&Zac! 24 years old, both work in hospitality. We’re pretty down to earth and easy going, more than happy to hang out but are also out often enough to give you your own space. Im usually catching up on TV shows or playing around with make up in my spare time and zac is usually gaming. We’re clean, tidy and responsible. Hoping to find others who are the same. I've also house-shared for 4+ years and am very respectful of space and communal living, and am hoping the rent will include maybe some of the bills. shoot me a message if you want to know anything else
Hi new housemates! No twin rooms. My name is Charli and I'm clean, respectful and have pretty decent banter. I work as an Executive Assistant for a HR company in the city and I'm a former hairdresser by trade. My best friends are LGBT+, and I have them over for civilised dinner and drinks once or twice a month, I scour gin bars and love a good brunch. I spend most weekends at Coogee or Clovelly beach. As much as I love the area I live in at the moment (Surry Hills) I would like to find one other 20-35 year old housemate only , who is much more like myself. Clean, moderately sociable and considerate. Cat friendly house is a must + people who have fun but don’t bring it home! This is my biggest problem at the moment - I work long hours so like to come home to a haven, if you will. Furnished own room preferred but open to unfurnished own room.
Hi! I’m Laura looking for a room with my boyfriend Eduard. We are both architects from Barcelona on our late 20s. Eduard is moving from Melbourne to teach at the UTS and I’m moving from Barcelona to look for a job in an arch studio. We are pretty relaxed and open-minded and liked to live in a shared house with a nice atmosphere. We like to share meals, drinks and good conversations with our housemates but also need our own private space sometimes, nothing out of the ordinary :)
Hey there! I’m looking for a brand new and clean house/apartment for long term stay. I dislike clutter and want to move in with people that are friendly, laidback, easygoing :) Looking to move out ASAP so I prefer if you call me to see if we’d get along etc. I’m looking for: -a room to fit queen size bed spaciously -a car spot -private bathroom -creative, nice-looking space :) I’m an outgoing, friendly, bubbly and fun person :) I like to talk and have a laugh. I’m easy going, honest and trustworthy. I want to be your friend rather than a “housemate”. My interests include travelling, listening to music, clubbing ,beach and going out with friends. Look forward to meeting you! 😃
Hi! I'm currently working full-time, I've just moved to Sydney to start my new job. I'm friendly, clean and most importantly reliable! I'm pretty self-sufficient but happy to be social as well. Feel free to ask any further questions!
I am a 43 year old full time writer. Work from home most days and into the eves. Very quiet and respectful of others, but dont mind being sociable at times. I love animals, but dont own any pets. I have called Castle Hill my home for 9 years, and just returning from a long holiday. Do my own cooking and cleaning, and also happy to help around the house when needed. Looking for easy going people with no dramas, as I am the same. Easy to live with, and hoping to find a place a.s.a.p.
I've shared both apartments and houses with people for 4 years so I'm not new to this. I'm independent but friendly. I love sitting down and having good chat but I also don't need people to be around me 24/7 and often like spending time alone. I'm a film school graduate, so I love movies -- the cinema is my happy place. I'm also often writing and working on my own projects in my spare time.
