Hello, I'm Thomas, I am new French in Sydney. I came from Paris and I'm an architect. I looking for a place in a share house to meet people and practice my English. I'm curious, dynamic and open minded. Since my studies, I always live in flat-sharing. Firstly in boarding school after in flat share with my friends. My hobbies: I was a rugby player when I lived in Paris, architecture, go to exhibitions, musics, concert or also share wine or beer in a bar. I'm an easy going guy and I enjoy meet new people. Also, I looking for a twin or single bedroom for two months (or more). Cheers guys !
I am a creative and this flows into everything I do. I believe myself to be easy going, friendly, happy, tidy, enjoy a good chat as much as my own free time. I hope to live in a household where there is a general respect for each member and harmony within.
I am a 30 year old Male who has previously lived in shared accommodation. I run my own business so work hours can be long some days. Enjoy socialising with friends, heading to the beach, going to the gym or staying in reading a book occasionally. Love cooking and making my housemates laugh. Clean, organised and have a structured life at times.
I'm incredibly clean, often absent due to my work demands, pitch in equally with housework, never leave a mess and I don't tend to host parties. I'm an avid netflix watcher and spend most of my time at home either sleeping or doing work. Not awfully exciting! But I am polite and respectful, honest and fair and am really easy to live with.
I'm a conscientious, easy going, and social person working full time in Surry Hills. I like a tidy space but I'm no neat freak and would like somewhere I can chill and have a laugh with some cool people/person. I'm staying with some friends in double bay until 26th of October while I look for somewhere I can call home, so ideally would like to find somewhere before then but also can be flexible and stay with some other friends for a few days before I move in. I'm not overly fussy on the area but either not far from the water OR good public transport and I'll be happy. I'm available to move in straight away and can provide references of any are required 😊.
I'm a Masters student from Melbourne coming to Sydney for a summer internship with Commbank. Looking to spend ~three months in Sydney this summer. From around November 22 - February 6. Seeking inner west, ideally a furnished room. Somewhere to leave my car would be great. Would love to find a couple of housemates to hang out with and suggest some decent spots around Sydney.
Hey! I'm Lauren, a 30yo professional working in the city and I'm looking for a new place in Manly, Bondi, Coogee or Potts Point to call home. I'm easy to live with - very chilled out, clean, tidy and respectful of others privacy and space. I'm pretty quiet during the week and usually I'll either catch up with friends, chill at home or go to the gym. On weekends I'm often out and about - doing something fun, at the beach, seeing friends, etc. Keen to live with similar people, that I get along well with, rather than those who hibernate all the time. Ideally someone who is happy to have a glass of wine on occasion! Cheers, Lauren x
Hi! My name is Lyla, I'm studying Social Work at UWS, but transferring to UNSW next year. Would love to move closer to UNSW. I'm about to leave for a 2 month trip across Sri Lanka and India so was looking to move in around end of January. I'm really laid back, I'd consider myself open minded and easy to get along with. I'm tidy and respect where Im living, I'm always keen to do my bit around the house and definitely down to cook a 'family' meal for everyone. I can respect personal space but also love to socialise. I moved to Australia 6 years ago from Ireland and before that I was in South Africa. I'm young but Ive travelled to a fair few places and believe I can get along with a variety of people :) I'm also keen to team up, so if you think we might be like minded people I'd love to grab a coffee with potential housemates and see if we get along! Thanks!!
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
I am a 33 year old Chartered Accountant working for an IT company as Head of Finance. I have traveled extensively over the years visiting 28 countries to date. Photography and adventure sports are something I am dearly passionate about. Mountaineering, skiing, kayaking, hiking etc. are some of the things that I am always interested in. I was a home owner for 10 years so I know the essence of a clean and tidy home. I am respectful towards others, and happy to share household chores with people I am sharing. I am a very organised person both in personal and professional life and so would prefer a house that is clean and tidy. I can't call myself a cleanliness freak, but I do love to live in a clean environment. I am not a party animal. Looking for a place close to city.
Couple from the UK travelling around Australia on a working visa. Harriet is working as a nurse in Sydney area. James is a boxing coach. Both love trying different food, drink and experiences. Up for a good laugh. Both clean and tidy, easy going, respectful of others belongings xx
Hi there, I'm Courtney! I am 24 and currently living at home with my parents looking to move out before Christmas. I currently work in digital marketing in Alexandria so I'm looking for a place preferably in the Inner West. During the week I work 9-5:30 and on weekends I am usually out having dinner and drinks with my girlfriends or heading down to my family's farm. I'm very neat and tidy and would love to live with someone who is similar. I would say I am quite a private person but would like to share a meal or binge watch a netflix series together from time to time. Don't mind friends coming over for a few bevvys, but not into hosting BBQs or party's every weekend. Some things I like to do in my spare time include motorbike riding, going to the beach, going on walks, watching movies/tv series and reading. I have a beautiful 2 year old cat named Tia that is moving out with me. She is completely an indoor cat and is very affectionate and loving. I would prefer a place that either has a larger laundry or my own bathroom to avoid you having to deal with her litter tray.
Chilled out easy going person! I like a house to be a home :). I am clean, love cooking for whoever is interested, and like being social but also respect people's space and privacy. I have an adorable dog with my part time, she is only little and really well behaved :).
Hi, my name is Will. I am a 27yo engineer who has been living in Sydney for a year after relocating from Melbourne. I am a friendly, clean, respectful housemate who is looking for a sharehouse with people of similar interests and social activities in close proximity to the CBD. I have a tendency to work pretty long hours however I am always up for a drink or a weekend activity. On the other hand I do thoroughly enjoy a TV binge session on the couch. I also love my AFL and am always on the lookout for another diehard fan. I am currently in a long term relationship however my partner will be remaining in Melbourne for this year at least. If you think I fit the bill please don't hesitate to contact me and we can arrange an inspection or have a chat. Looking to shift the weekend of the 28th October however would be happy to move earlier if a good fit pops up Cheers, Will
Hi everyone! I'm Matt; I've just moved to Sydney (17.10.17) from Essex in the UK. I'm 26 and have been in recruitment for the last 5 years. I'll be starting work with Hays in the CBD as of Monday 23rd October in a full time capacity. I'm staying in their flat for two weeks, so ideally looking to move in on Saturday 28th October but I'm flexible. I've been saving for a mortgage in the UK for the last 4 years and prior to that lived in shared accommodation for 5 years, so money/sharing properties isn't alien to me! I'm a social creature who also enjoys his space. I'm into my fitness, so also looking for a new PT whilst out here! I do smoke, but totally respectful of people's boundaries and wishes and am actually attempting to quit now I'm here :) I enjoy watching ridiculous TV shows (Grey's, GoT, Scandal etc. etc.), chilling with a bottle of wine after work and can cook all of about 7 dishes... this is also a tenuous number. Get in touch!
I'm a 26 year old, fun loving girl originally from Adelaide but moved to Sydney early last year in a bit of a spur of the moment decision - best thing I’ve done! Just returned from working the snow season in Jindabyne so looking for a new place to call home. Ideally after a place thats at least partially furnished as I don't have much big furniture with me. About me: I'm easy going and tidy, always up for a chat but have done the houseshare thing for a while now so super respectful of peoples space and whatnot. Loves of my life include G&Ts, snowboarding and guacamole. I'd love to find a likeminded roomie, someone who's up for a laugh :) if i sound like an okay human and you have any questions feel free to get in contact
I am a laid back girl who likes to travel and spend time outdoors. I will be working Mon-Fri in Potts Point, but in my free time I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, kayaking, yoga, and anything that involves getting outdoors. I also enjoy going out for a night on the town or enjoying a glass of wine/beer at home. I will be arriving in Sydney on November 9th. I will need somewhere to stay until I get familiar with the area. Preferably looking for something 3+ months, but would consider shorter!
I have just moved to Sydney from London and am looking to explore the city and all it has to offer. I am looking for a homely and sociable house and will be growing my career in digital marketing. I can cook, clean and would enjoy hanging out. Be it over a glass of wine or watching some TV! Get in touch :)
Hi everybody, I'm a 18 years old German guy. I started working on a construction site in Sydney and I wanna stay there and earn the next approximately three month a little bit money for travelling after my stay in Sydney. That's why I'm looking now for a accommodation. No matter if it is a own room, a share room or something else. I'm a very uncomplicated, friendly and tidy person. I'll never say no to some shared activities or just a relaxing beer in the evening. I'm looking forward to have a nice time with my share mates and make nice experiences. If you have a place for me don't hesitate to let me know. Cheers, Carlos
