Hello! We are Yasmine and Paul, a French couple of 25 and 27 years old and we come to live in Melbourne. Paul is already on site for 1 month and is a chef at a full-time restaurant in Fitzroy. As for me, I join him on the 15th of April. We are looking for a double room in a house or a shared flat. We are very respectful, clean and quiet. We like sharing our culture with others, drinking a glass of wine together, and sharing good meals with our roommates. If you have any questions about us, feel free to ask!
We are a quiet, tidy, non-drinking, non-smoking, respectful nerd couple looking for a private room, studio, or 1-bedroom flat. Chris is a computer programmer from the US and Jing is a Chinese language interpreter/translator. We lived in Thailand for 12 (Chris) and Jing (4) years and have moved to Melbourne. Jing is working in Melbourne CBD on a 2-year visa so she may well stay longer depending on price and terms. We are looking for a place in CBD or not more than 15 minutes from CBD by public transport. Jing will be out working a lot of the time. Chris will be spending a lot of time in the unit so we are looking for quiet and good internet. Chris has a lot of experience with internet and WiFi and he can help you improve your internet for yourself and all your tenants too. We are a landlord's drama-free dream come true. Contact us now---we'd like to move in soon! Our latest deadline for moving in is 15 March.
Hey! My name is Amna. I'm 25 and from Sweden. I have studied a master of science programme in pharmacy at Uppsala University in Sweden. I'm a registered pharmacist who is moving to Melbourne to start my PhD at University of Melbourne. I'm looking to move in between the 15th and 20th of March. I'm big on socializing. Would describe myself as a friendly and positive person. I'm very open minded and love discussions concerning both politics and feminism. On my spare time I love hanging out with friends, going for dinners, dancing, being out in nature. I'm studious, and love reading when I have any time over. I have many great experiences living with other people, both in Sweden and abroad, and have become a really close friends to my previous room mates. I'm both tidy and clean and always makes sure to pay rent and bills on time.
I'm in Melbourne for my work and study. I would say I am organized and tidy. I love cooking on my days off as well as enjoy having good food and drink with mates. I don't smoke and I'm pretty chilled. :-)
François and I are clean, fun, we love talking and meeting new people, but we can be very quiet if you need some "space". We love reading, François loves writing, learning new languages, I love cooking and baking!! We are in Australia since 5 months and we want to come in Melbourne to discover this city , meeting new nice people and working to save some money and continue our trip!!
Hi, my name is Kate and I am looking for a room to rent and a place to call home. I work as a nurse at the Royal Children's Hospital, however I don't do shift work :) I'm friendly and very down to earth. I have a caring nature and enjoy a pretty easy going lifestyle. After work I often like to get cosy, cook and watch Netflix, or head out for a meal with friends. My days off include staying active, spending time with friends and family, eating out or having a few drinks at a local pub. I moved here 3 years ago from Adelaide, therefore I still love experiencing new things around Melbourne and exploring new brunch spots. I'd like to live with someone who will enjoy having a chat and a laugh when we're together. I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and you would always be welcome to join me:) I will also be respectful of your own space and privacy. I'll look forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys, I'm Mitchell. I've lived in a rural town my whole life so I'm long overdue for a change of scenery. I won't be moving until mid to late June, but its better to be organised. I consider myself to be a pretty nice guy, I value my friends and I'm happy to go out of my way to help somebody out (if you're upset, I'll probably just quote Simpsons until you smile). When I move I will be studying Animation, so between that and working I won't be in the house all that often. When I am at home you will find me reading a book, gaming, cruising through netflix, or listening to podcasts. I consider myself to be a pop culture fiend, so if you like Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty, or anything inbetween throw me a bone. I like to keep quite active and I regularly go to the gym. I do play around with the guitar a little bit aswell, so if you are a muso and want to jam that would be lovely too. Ideally, I would love to live with 2 or 3 other people to expand my social circle (I'm leaving all my friends behind ):) If you think I'll fall in with your bunch, please consider me.
From the south eastern suburbs of melbourne. Work full time in moonee ponds. Friendly, reliable, experienced in share housing, can set up the house with free foxtel due to work perk! I do come with one house trained but mostly outdoor cat named Wednesday. Thoroughly enjoy cooking, drinks on the weekend and a good book.
Hey! I'm Vince looking for a share house with 1 or 2 other people. I am a fun energetic person but who also knows how to take a chill pill and relax. I enjoy going to the gym, running, beach, reading and taking off up to the country for relaxing weekends. Am not to fussed with the area but fairly keen on inner city suburbs.
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates. I love cooking for myself and others, though i am not very good at it! Really approachable guy if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
I'm a 23 y/o female science graduate hailing from Adelaide and am moving to Melbourne in the next month to work as a research assistant in a breast cancer laboratory. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends, volunteering for causes I care about, discovering good restaurants and going to gigs and art galleries. I equally love a quiet night in with a homemade meal (I love cooking), a cup of tea and a good book. I'm currently in a long-distance relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years, so I also like to spend some time talking to him on the phone each day. I have a fun, easygoing and caring nature and am committed to maintaining a tidy, comfortable home. I'd love to share a place with someone who has similar interests and values and who I can have a good chat with (though I do also appreciate the need to have alone time now and then!). While I don't have pets of my own, I do love animals and am happy to live with other people's furry friends!
Hello! I work in hospitality and I've just moved to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, so I'm pretty chill and considerate of other people's needs. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will likely be late. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I've lived with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move in sooner rather than later, but I'm fairly flexible.
Hello beautiful people! My name is Lisa and I'm currently looking for a chilled place to live as I'm getting my masters at RMIT (Master of Fashion Entrepreneurship) and work as well. I don't mind the odd party/gathering/bbq and I definitely love my wine :) but no party house by any means. I am a very active person - I love getting outside, surfing on the weekends if I have the time and practice yoga regularly. I'm extremely openminded - originally from the states, but have already lived for prolonged periods of time in europe and asia for work and now Melbourne for the last year with no plans of leaving anytime soon! I eat very healthy, love tacos and enjoy to cook with the house from time to time as well as share a wine, beer or G+T together :) Looking for a place with good vibes before the end of March. Shoot me a message if you would like to know more! x
Hello there, I'm Kathleen, a Canadian interning at the Florey Institute for the next 5 months. I will be working there 9 - 5 Mondays through Fridays and on the weekends, I'll probably be out exploring the city/area. That being said, I do enjoy having a beer or tea with my housemates and catching up every now and then. It's nice to have a place to call home. I'm clean, respectful and on a good day even occasionally funny. I enjoy such things as hiking, jogging, reading and baking. Also a vegetarian but not fussy. If you think I could be a good fit for your house, please let me know :) Cheers, Kathleen
Hi! I am an Italian student in exchange at Monash university: I am looking for a room 'till the end June. I won't be presumptuous but I will be the best flatmate you could never have ahah...and if you don't believe it, well let's try!
My name is Sarah and I am 23 years old. I currently live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne but I'm hoping to find a place closer to the city. I work part time and I like going hiking and riding horses. I am a clean and tidy person and also consider myself to be a pretty decent cook.
20 years young, recently moved here from Adelaide, studying @ Melb Uni & working Transport Bar in Federation Square! Loving Melbourne's vibes :) **Recently remade my Facebook account, which might explain why it's so bland!** Easygoing, friendly, amicable, responsible, respectful, have lived in a share house before in Adelaide (hometown) and currently looking for a place just outside the city for convenience & possibly to share with some similar, fun people! Play soccer, love soccer & sport, studying a sport development diploma right now! Looking to move ASAP! :) Preferably to a northern/north western suburb! 6 month minimum for sure! <3
Hi - 21 yr old been saving up to move to Melbourne to work for a bit before applying mid year to uni. Very clean and respectful of others space. Always up for a night out but not a crazy party girl so i keep fairly quiet. Would love people to help me get to grips with Melbourne life :)
Clean, low maintenance, sane. British chemistry student at the university of Melbourne.
Hey guys, i'm relocating to Melbourne from NSW- and would love to move in with similarly chilled-out, open-minded people. I am very open to spending time with flatmates, whether at home or going out to places (especially movies and music events!) I'm quite laid-back and don't mind if you just want to do your own thing, not everyone is permanently social and needs alone time- which i'm *pretty* fond of myself. My (personal) interests include binge-watching TV serials/movies, comics, games, writing and fiction in general- but those aren't my only hobbies. I also love going out and socializing- movies, live music and generally going out for the day/night (or hanging out at home) are how I like to spend my non-alone time! I'm very interested in meeting new people and being introduced to new things- so if how i've described myself doesn't sound much like you, don't worry that I won't be interested! I do like variety, and most of my friends are actually quite different from me. (I'd prefer a somewhat lengthy stay so I can feel established and not have to rearrange myself all the time- but my exact move date and preferred suburbs are all just close estimates!) I look forward to hearing from you, don't feel shy to swing me a message! :)
Hi! I am French and I will be a current PhD student at Deakin University by the end of March and I am looking for a nice place to share :) Places near Deakin Uni Waurn Ponds or near transports to get there are what I would prefer to find! Also, I would like to live in a quiet place, since my studies will need some quiet times but it's also important to share a place with people talking to each other :) Last important detail, I am looking for a furnished room. See you soon! (For those who have seen my latest post, I didn't know at that time when I could be in Geelong)
Hi, Im an extremely laid back, easy going guy who is ready to settle down into a new apartment for 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending. I've just come back from spending just over 3 months in QLD doing some hard labour on the banana farm, to get myself a second year visa. Im clean, respectful, into my fitness and leisure time and like to socialise on the weekends. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello, I am a single man working full time, looking for a place to call home. According to my friends, I am easy going, humble, respectful, happy with a good vibe and energy, social, banter, open mind and easy to get along. I like to keep tidy and to make sure I live in a clean, happy environment. I enjoy going to the beach, gym, parks and exploring new places. I like meditation, yoga, BJJ, movies, reading, having a laugh and cooking. I don't smoke and I am not really into partying but I do like the occasional drink. I'm sociable but also respect people's space (we all need our down time). I am looking for people that I can feel and be comfortable around, people that love to sit and have a chat, but also can let me meditate and respect my own. If you believe that I could be your new flatmate, text me please! Thank you! 😁

We're both relaxed, easy going, good cooks, quiet, clean, love having interesting conversations. We've been traveling already for a month and a half and now going to be working in Melbourne for a few months. We're both from London and have hosted lots of people there and live with flatmates in London so we are really used to it. We're both designers by profession and also run a healthy drinks business back in London.
I've just moved over from Adelaide and decided to move to Melbourne after spending most of last year in Europe and a bit of Asia too - so escaping my home town again. I’ve shared many houses in my time and know how to clean up after myself and generally being an easy housemate to get along with. I enjoy sharing houses with social housemates who are keen to share the occasional meal and a few drinks - so that kind of situation would be ideal - but also aware of peoples personal space and enjoy my own down time too. I like seeing live music, the beach, getting out into nature but I’m also a web developer and work on my own web projects in me free time when I’m not out in the sun.

Hi! I'm Isabella and I'm 19 years old :) I currently study Journalism at RMIT and work part time at Woolworths. Yay :) So hmu if you want to team up or have a room, I'm in student accommodation right now want to move out before mid year
After trying to become Muay Thai fighters // totally ripped bodybuilders in Thailand (to not much success, food over there is too good and too cheap), we are coming to Melbourne around March 20th. Nana worked as a civil engineer in Brisbane for the last couple of years and Pia is in Human Resources and likes to occasionally bribe people with delicious German treats. We're both 25 years old and have lived in a lot of share houses over the years. Ideally, we're looking to live with other young professionals who appreciate coming home to a clean house. Although we are past our party days, we like to socialise and watch live music. We are flexible with dates, as we are looking for the right place to call home.
Hi everyone! my name is Paulina, I'm from Chile. I consider myself easy going, extroverted and cheerful person. Hey all! I'm easy going, level headed, enjoy company and tidy. I'm a working musician (drummer) currently in 5 bands - so that means I'm looking for a house which would provide a practice space for my drum kit. If a shed/ garage in your stay has space I can easily sound proof it no worries! I'm currently working in door to door sales but am planning on getting a forklift licence and working in warehousing. Would love to hear back from you!
Canberra raised now a Melbourne northsider looking for an unfurnished room in the neighbourhood when my Carlton North lease is up. Clean and tidy, fun and easy-going, very chill. I enjoy watching movies and TV, video games, cooking (eating), and having a good time. Hellooo I have just moved to Melbourne last week from Byron Bay, I'm originally from Perth, Western Australia. I've come over here on a whim, I've scored some waitressing work and I'm planning on studying herbal medicine 💚💚 I enjoy creating a harmonious environment within the home. I pride myself on keeping a nice and clean space that always feels fresh. I love having lots of plants in and around the house. I love cooking and sharing meals socially. I am very open, approachable and naturally caring. I am aware my age may not appeal so without coming across as vain ~ I'll simply state I'm an old soul. I've been living in share houses for 6 years. I resonate and relate with all ages from all walks of life.. Trust!! ~ An added bonus I am capable of bringing to light if you like; I can create good feng shui in and around your home to attract abundance of all kinds. I am down to earth and encompass a down to earth lifestyle.
I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide over a year ago, and have felt at home in this city every day since. Currently I study full-time in the CBD, and work in retail a few days a week. That may sound like I'm not around a lot, but I enjoy time at home, too. Balance is key: love the outdoors, getting artsy, and going for a good boogie. I'm a social gal for sure, but foremost I respect people in their spaces. Although I'm 20, I have spent the last few years independent. I know what it takes to be considerate of others and responsible for myself, and I'm always willing to discuss household logistics. I have specified that I'm looking to stay for 1 year or more, however I'm happy with 6-9 months if a superb opportunity calls for it.
I'm neat and tidy and don't mind noise as I have lived in many share house and shared living environments. I am respectful of other peoples' property and of the house in general. I am not fussed about having fun on the weekends at the house, I'm pretty easy going, and like meeting new people. Just as long as the house is back in order for the week! Studying at Melbourne Uni to finish my bachelor in arts at the end of this year. I have a bit of furniture and stuff I can contribute if needed too :). Hit me up with a message if you like what you sound.
I am studying Masters and I am working almost all time so I usually don't spend a lot of time at home. I am a quiet person, I like running and also I love to do yoga.
