I was a Chef, easy to talk to, great sense of humour, love a good laugh and very easy o get along with
I'm a 25 year-old accountant from the UK moving to Darwin at the beginning of February. I'm looking to get to know the area and experience as much of the Darwin life as possible - it would be great to have housemates who would be happy to show me around and help me out every now and again. I'm a relaxed, easy-going, friendly person who is easy to live with. I keep my areas clean and am happy to take my part of any household chores. I like to be social - have a beer, bbq and a good chat as well as going out and experiencing the local culture and events - but I'm definitely not a big party person. I have an active lifestyle and keep healthy for the most part (although I am partial to a good takeout every now and again). I love watching sport, movies and learning about history/culture. And I LOVE good food! Looking for some awesome people to have some fun with during my time in Darwin. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you soon!
I am very organised and keep my belongings within my own space, but I am more than happy to help share and create a friendly and homely atmosphere. Originally from Melbourne, I've moved to Darwin for my first adult job, so a big step in life at the moment and I'm looking for somewhere comfortable to come home to each night. Happy to try new things and fit in and adapt to a new household.
Hey guys! I'm Peter! I've just moved up from Adelaide to the amazing NT! I've visited before a few times, but I decided that I just couldn't get enough of the place and so I've accepted a 12 month contract and moved up here! I know, crazy, right!? I'm an actor/comedian, but I work primarily with sick kids in hospital and in communities. So it's a bit of an interesting job.. I've been doing that for the last 6 years or so. I've lived in several different share houses over the years, and I'm happy to send through references etc. if you'd like that too. I'm a fairly clean person, and I like to stay organised as much as I can, but I won't faint if someone left the sugar out or something.. Well.. there was this one time.. ha! Anyway.. I can be a fairly social kind of person, and enjoy good food, meeting people and having a beer with friends. That said, I also love chilling out and keeping to myself at times, I feel like you need to strike that balance a bit. I'm looking for somewhere that is relaxed and fun to live, I don't need huge amounts of space, or anything too fancy, but a nice roof over my head and some cool people to occasionally hang out with woyuld be the best! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know! Cheers guys, Peter
Looking for somewhere to live with like minded people. Am originally from Melbourne but have recently moved up here from NSW after living there for 3.5 years, I work full time on a 7 day rotating roster and play AFL on the weekends. Am looking for a place near a bus stop as i will be without a car to start with. I am also looking for a room that is furnished if possible.
Hey I moved up from the Gold Coast, I'm 27 from New Zealand. I'm easy going, fun, enjoy the out doors and keeping fit. I'm chilled out during the week going to work, gym , and soccer training. I'm clean , tidy and respectful other house mates space. But I'm always for a chat too. If you would like to know more please send me a message. cheers
Hi! I'm moving from Melbourne to Darwin for work in the New Year, so am putting the feelers out now for potential roomies. I come with a chill cat, she basically just likes to lie around and eat. Kinda like me :P Am house trained, can clean, pay bills and rent on time. I like a house which is social, but also like to do their own things too. You know, shared dinners and drinks on occasion. I guess I'm pretty normal :) Happy to look at a team up also. A place which is already mostly furnished would be ideal, but am happy to buy some bigger house items if required.
Hi! I'm a social worker moving up from Melbourne in late January. I have signed a 2 year contract and will be working between the hospital and the city. I've been in share houses for a number of years now and feel like I'm a good balance of fun and respectful. I love having a wine with housemates and chatting about the day but am also respectful of people's space (and my own!). As I am new to Darwin, I'll be spending a lot of time exploring, so am happy for either another newbie to explore with or a seasoned pro who can advise on all the best places to check out. I am also looking for a fully-furnished room/house. Feel free to get in touch - I arrive in Darwin next week, however won't be needing a place until mid-Feb.
Engineer moving to Darwin for a 6 month work placement. Looking for a furnished room so that my partner can keep using the furniture in Melbourne! Darwin CBD (or close to it) preferred. I’m equally happy sharing a drink on the couch every night, or keeping entirely to myself. I’m planning to have a lot of weekend camping/hiking trips while in town, which I’d also welcome company on. Non-smoker. I have no pets, but I’d love to be around yours.
I currently work full time as a traffic management plan designer on call. i spend most of my time out on the road working, however; when i get time to chill out i like to spend time looking after my place of stay i.e. gardening, pool maintenance. i keep to myself but do enjoy a social drink or dinner and sitting down having a chat about life. i enjoy exercise, watching tv series, catching up with mates when i get a chance and helping others around the house when its wanted/needed.
Hello! I am moving from Brisbane at the end of January for work as a designer in Darwin City and am after a furnished room within a share house. I am interested in most things artsy, enjoy photography and love to travel and explore new places. I am hoping to find a share house with like minded people who perhaps want to explore Darwin together or like to be social every now and again. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. Nonsmoker and no pets of my own but not adverse to there being animals. I have a car and would prefer some type of off street parking but I am flexible. Ideally I would like bills included (including internet) however, if not possible I would like to get a general idea of how much bills will be each quarter. If you have a place available for around the time I move to Darwin and think we could get along then please feel free to contact me. I will be in Darwin from around the 30th of January to be able to view places and meet in person.
I’m 26, work full time for the government and have a ginger cat. I’m looking for somewhere pet friendly ideally near the city so I can walk to work. I don’t smoke, but I do like to have a quiet drink every now and then. Im looking for somewhere quiet and chilled out. Happy to be social or go on adventures, but not looking for a party house. My preferred place would be 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. I’d also prefer to share with a female, in an unfurnished place. I’m currently looking at a couple of units near the city, with a view of moving at the end of the month.
Moved to Darwin 6 months ago and have now been offered sponsorship in work so I guess I can call it home for the next 2 years. I’m 21 years old and from Ireland. I am very friendly, easy going and love a sociable drink or two over the weekend. Looking for a housemate who is keen to sightsee and do things together on our free time! I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I have another friend who is 24 from the Gold Coast who is looking to move so would be very interested in teaming up and renting an apartment.
Moving to Darwin from Melbourne, working and studying full time! Like exercise + sports, latin dancing and like to be social but nothing too crazy. Clean and tidy, like to cook and looking for great people to live with for the next 1-2 years!
Psychiatric Nurse - don't have a job secured yet but in the process of applications. Will likely be making the move from Melbourne to Darwin end of Feb/start of March. Love getting outdoors and active on the weekends - biking, camping, hiking, climbing. Yoga teacher - half arsed vegetarian (I eat fish) - but I'm not weird about others eating meat. Ex-smoker - but don't care if my housemates do. Love a drink and a balcony BBQ on the weekend with good people - occasionally head out to bars/clubs when there are bands/DJs worth making the trek. I'm clean, crafty and I'm all about creating positive energy in my home. Indoor plant addict and aspiring dog owner - I'm allergic to cats.
I'm an easy going housemate that has respect for other housemates privacy. I don't mind chatting after work and sharing meals and a beer/wine, especially in this heat! I'm a fulltime professional, moved to Darwin last year and here for the next 5 or so years, cyclone/croc dependent. Play Football (soccer), like to go camping and explore the NT and surrounds.

We are easy going, sociable girls who enjoy some drinks on the weekend, sport and the outdoors. We are neat and respectful of others and would love to find a friendly home.
