Just a couple of cool kids looking for somewhere to call home while studying. Abby's studying to be a doctor so can offer a turn on the stethoscope if needs be. Super easy going, have been renting for years, and between us we can cook a few good meals.
Hi all! My name is Martin and I have shared a flat in my country so I know how to deal with everyday life at a shared flat. I am really flexible, organized and easy going so I believe I could be a great roommate at your place. I love Arts, painting, watching movies and have a chat with my housemates but I respect everyone else privacy and space as well.
Hi there. Im Andrew. Originally from Ireland but have been living in Australia since 1998. Im moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in April. I have been interviewing for jobs already and will continue to do so whilst still living in Brisbane. I already have some great opportunities and want to start work as soon as I arrive. Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. Im a music lover, sports fan, outdoor type so love going on weekend adventures out of town. Hi, my name is Ania. At the moment I work almost full time as a graphic designer. I have a small on-line business and I just finished fitness certificate. I'm looking for somewhere quiet, clean, preferably with my own bathroom. During the week I'm up early to go to the gym or yoga. I enjoy quite nights during the week and on weekends I'm in and out catching up with family and friends. Party life is pass me :-) but I'm very social and I enjoy going out to bars or a glass of red and a good conversation.
Coming up the end of my time Melbourne to head back to London in mid May. Looking for a short term rent of roughly 6 weeks starting from end of March/early April as the lease expires on my current house soon. I work in hospitality in the city so looking for anywhere relatively close or easily accessible to the CBD. Cheers!
Hello, we're a young couple looking to move in to a room together. Originally from Perth, Gary is currently working, while Cotton, born and raised on the Chinese island of Hainan, is studying at university. We are both easygoing, friendly and tidy, and enjoy socialising as much relaxing at home. Neither of us are party animals and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
Méabh and I recently moved to Australia after meeting up in NZ - before that I had traveled in South America solo for a few months. We had both quit our jobs in Dublin (as an IT Consultant and Childern's Nurse) to start our new life down under. We're aiming to get sponsored and enjoy Melbourne and the rest of Australia for a good while to come all going well. We chose Melbourne because of the amount and range of event, sports, food, people, and we're really excited to set up a nice base from which we can start enjoying it fully!

Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne in February from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting for nice and tidy place! I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job. Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love music, finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too (amazing kitchens are a seller for me!) but I still appreciate Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself - one of those clean as you go people! I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I am available to move in as soon as possible and happy to discuss length of stay. I am a very happy person and looking forward to making new friends along the way! I promise you won't regret living with me!

We're a British travelling couple (24, 25) who have landed in Melbourne 14/03 and looking to spend around 6-9months in Melbourne, although want to find a 3 month stay to begin with, and then go from there in terms of housing. $350 really is our limit, we'd prefer this to include bills but that can be negotiated. We're easy-going, clean and social housemates- enjoy a chat over cooking (I'm veggie but happy to cook meat) and a glass of wine/beer but also appreciate busy schedules and personal time/space. We'll be working but on our time off we enjoy keeping fit (gym, yoga, running, walks) and catching up with friends in the amazing restaurant and bar scene that Melbourne offers!

Half-Australian, half-Indian. I just moved to Melbourne from Singapore to continue my legal studies. Working part-time as a paralegal, looking for a place to rest my head and people to help introduce me to a new city.
I'm super chilled and super easy going but do enjoy my privacy so am looking for a crib to share with 1 other person (preferably male) where we can share space but still have our own private space. I'm looking for someone clean and tidy and who can look after themselves! :) I'm a professional hip hop and belly dancer currently studying full time dance and uber driver in the mornings and evenings and weekends so will hardly be home. I have 5 pets, 2 Maltese dogs and 3 old cats so my roomie has to be ridiculously pet friendly first and foremost! Looking to split things 50/50 with someone cool and awesome!!
We are Jenny and Stu, originally from Liverpool, England but now calling Melbourne home. Both laid back, ones tidy, one is clean so winning combination. Like to do anything involving food and wine, and slowly make our way through every instagramable brunch place that Melbourne has to offer. Both working professionals, and at the weekend love to jump in the car and explore Melbourne/Victoria. We aren't that couple who make out on the couch, lick each others faces or call each other 'boo boo'.......so don't let us being a couple scare you off, we are normal people too! Looking to move in to a place, or join up with other people to find a house. Want to be in an environment with decent people who can hold a conversation, as much as we love a drink no all night partiers please, preachy people or anyone in a cult. We just want to relax have some fun and enjoy the place we live in and the people who live there too.
Hi my name is Chirag. I work in Sales for an IT Software company (Healthcare) next to Camberwell for the past 1+ year. I moved back in early 2015 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years (2000 - 2010) - I worked at ANZ Bank in various departments for 7 years! Went to study full time for my Masters at Melbourne Uni, graduated and found a job overseas and hence the overseas living and working :)... I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities prior. My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees. While at home, I enjoy watching movies, like to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mates, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :). I am pretty social so go out a lot as well. I also love swimming, riding my bicycle and exploring Melbourne - lately have been going regularly for beach volleyball and swim to South Melbourne beach (Melbs summer and enjoying it thoroughly) and rest, well you will have to chat with me in person – yeah? :) Buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing and like a glass of red with a nice meal and specially in the winters and to keep myself warm :). Would be great to have chats over a drink, eat together at times - instead of being a person living in the next room. I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Looking to share with matured flatmate/s who would be 'neat and clean' and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). I am down to earth and very easy to get along with. Would be great to share with someone who ‘wants to share’ and not just looking for saving rent or having a person just to share for the sake of it and not responsible while sharing the place. I have my own bedroom stuff - bed, tall boy, side table, shoe rack etc and also my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and other utensils for kitchen nothing major though - no other furniture. Look forward to speaking with you. Thank you. Cheers, Chirag :)
Hey guys, I'm making the big move from Brisbane to Melbourne in April (arrive the 12th). I have a job as a Risk Specialist lined up, so being on a lease/paying bills is not an issue. Hoping I can leave my stuff in storage for the mean time until I settle in, so a bed would be awesome but I can make other arrangements for that. I’m pretty much bringing what I can stuff into my car. Im a pretty chill guy, I think I’m funny and easy to get along with. Ive been trying out crossfit and hope to keep that up down there, other than that you’ll probably catch me exploring cafes and eating food. I’m super tidy as a flatmate, like legit tidy, not the type that says they are but aren’t. Im 29 as well. My work schedule for the first couple of months will be pretty hectic, with 3 or 4 weeks worth of time in Sydney thrown in there. I know I can’t meet anyone before because I’m in Bris, but happy to have a chat on the phone or Skype. Cheers Ben
Hi there, I am looking to team up with other females in a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment/townhouse. I will be moving from a 2 bedroom apartment so have most of the furniture we will need... Looking to move around the 15 Apr. I work full time hours across 6 days. I am friendly and love a chat but also enjoy my alone time. I am clean and like to keep things organised. My ideal house is a place I look forward to coming to at the end of the day, lots of natural light and open and tidy. If you think we would be good housemates please get in contact with me :)
Hi my name is Suzie and I am looking for somewhere great to live on the North side of Melbourne. I have been living solo in Port Douglas for the past 4 months but before this I lived in a share house with a couple for 2 years in Brunswick! I am a chocolate and coffee lover however I also love to exercise and find myself either at the gym or going for a run around 5 times a week. Ideally I would like my own bathroom and off street parking. I have only ever worked in hospitality and I have a full time position secured at a hotel in the city. From the end of July I will be going back to William Angliss Institute where I'm studying a bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism management and working part time in the hotel. I am naturally outgoing and social however I do appreciate my quiet time, I believe it is important have a friendly relationship with my housemates and it shouldn't be strange to have a drink together. I appreciate having a neat and tidy house and am respectful of other people's belongings and their space. Happy to have a chat or meet up with people upon my return to Melbourne !
I'm from India, lived in Dubai for many years and currently moving down under to Australia, Melbourne. I am tidy, accommodating, and a friendly person to be with. I like to meet people and have intellectual conversations with them, but mostly I like having my private time and space. I appreciate music of all sorts, I enjoy cricket and watching movies. I'm looking for a private furnished room for 3-4 months from April 22nd. I work in the CBD area, so I am looking for a place that is not very far from CBD.
Hi, I'm Joel. I'm in my final semester of uni currently working part time as a civil engineer, but will be transitioning to full time in a couple of months. I'm looking for a place fairly close to the city with easy access to the Monash Freeway and somewhere to park my car, ideally with people who keep a pretty normal schedule. I consider myself to be someone who is well mannered and relatively tidy, and I wouldn't say no to a glass of wine or a bit of a yarn after work. With that being said, I am definitely the kind of person who also needs a bit of alone time, usually with a book. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs or just to the pub. Feel free to get in contact.
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! I like a house with a little bit of energy but where everyone respects each others space. I'm keen to move to the Darebin area or other suburbs north of the city.
I love watching movies and having a good laugh. I am full time missionary. I help orphan children in kenya. I have a lot of stories to share.i have a disability but that doesnt stop me im on crutches and love to share a meal.
We are Daisy (me, 27) and Lawrence (24), a couple making the move to Melbourne on 20th march. Despite being a couple, we are not attached at the hip and enjoy our different interests as well as film nights in and the odd night out in some good bars. Lawrence is in to skateboarding, juggling and good whiskey whilst I love a good book, days out in the fresh air and cooking. We're both outgoing and of a gregarious nature as well as being considerate and well-mannered. As a couple to live with, we are clean without being pedantic, enjoy cooking for friends and like our own space as much as we like socialising with flatmates. We are really in to good booze and beer too.
Hello, my name is Nicolas Santos, i am from Medellin Colombia, i am 33 years old and i am a person that loves multicultural environments, and language exchanges. On my youth days i went to the business school and get a bachelor on international business, then i went to china for 5 years and i used to work in a trading company, but after that long time i got sick of business and started enjoying the jobs with a social impact, so currently i am working in Colombia in a language school as a Spanish teacher for international students world wide. i am moving to Melbourne as a student looking for an opportunity to improve my english, learn about your country, culture and food. in my free time i like to do out door sports, i am a huge rugby fun, i used to played it back on college, so being honest most of my free time hopefully ill be attending super rugby game, learning about the rugby league and doing out doors activities. As a latin man i am a happy and friendly person looking to discover and learn more about this huge and amazing world.
We are Anya and Javier. I'm an ESL teacher, originally from California. I LOVE my career. I also love yoga, and plan to do my teacher training later this year. I used to teach pole dancing too, but it's so expensive to keep up training in Australia, so I haven't actively done that for ages. Now I'm studying massage in the CBD and have class once a week at the weekend. Javier is from Spain; he's a chef by trade (and makes some pretty boss dishes), working at a nice seafood restaurant in CBD. He's also doing a BA in video game design! He's already created his own dice-strategy board game. He's really creative and is constantly working on designs. We like to be social with our flatmates, but we also like to have our time just for us. Javi and I are both gone during the morning / afternoon Monday through Thursday (Myself at work, him at school). He works a few nights during the week and works weekend nights as well, so we haven't got too much time to spend together during the week. When we're at home, we like to cook dinner (he cooks, I clean), watch Netflix, play games (our collection of games in Australia is slowly growing), and read. We are NOT huge partiers. I am, however, a member of a wine club and order a case of wine every couple of months. I am often down to share a glass of wine and a chat. We're also keen to go to the cinema or go read in a park. Both of us love to be around nature. We're also divers, so we like to find time to explore the ocean when we can. We're in Australia for a few more years, so we'd like to find a place that is our HOME, not just a place to live.
I'm 32 and I'm moving from the UK to Oz in September.I'm gonna be working full time as a nurse in Coburg. Looking for a mixed houseshare in good location for shops and transport links. I'm pretty good in the kitchen and like the place to be tidy. Enjoy a good social but also like my own space. Any Qs drop a msg
Hi, I'm coming to Melbourne beginning of June, and I am looking for a flat to share with other nice people. I am French but I live in London at the moment. I think I'm easy going, tidy, quite (most of the time, but I love laughing).
I've worked in different countries as an electrical engineer, and now I'm a master student at Swinburne University. I've been looking for a place that is close to the univ, and that'd be perfect if you have ensuite bathroom. I leave home in the morning, and come back in the evening. When I am home, probably I'll be in the room and studying. However, if you want to chat, or demand something I wont let you down. I dont smoke, but I dont mind if you do. I'm an easy going person and I like to meet new people.
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. I am extrovert and open-minded.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking around me unless I'm insisted, so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating halaal food and offering prayers also avoidin eating pork and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, swimming, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. I don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, I would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( I'm a cat-lover :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) or Homestays in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, I am great to live with.
Bubbly, respectful and tidy Adelaide born girl, living in Melbourne for roughly around two years? Full time Duty Manager at a busy bar on the riverside, Southbank/full time Uni student. Not big on the party front, only because my lifestyle doesn't allow much time for it. No issues, however, with those who do have he time for it! :) I do enjoy a nice glass of wine or a beer and social dinner- when my busy schedule permits me to stop and relax. Rarely home, but when I am- I'm always up for a chat, movie and hang out- equally happy to respect others need for quiet time and do my own thing. I often take myself for walks to grab coffee and read the paper- will always welcome company on my little ventures! Music and laughing are my coping mechanisms! Enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle.
I've been told I'm an old soul - from my out-of-date taste in British rock to my wry sense of humour and uncanny ability to to fix anyone's problems but my own. In saying that, I think it's a blessing in a housemate, as I'm self-sufficient, reliable and like a tidy space. Much like an indoor cactus plant. Unlike a cactus, I enjoy a drink at the end of the week, and I like to go dancing, but I respect the fact that the party stays on Chapel St - home is for rest and recuperation. I like the outdoors, I like going for walks and exploring the area I live in. I am a listener. As for the practical side of things, I am working full time hours waitressing while I take time off from Monash University, where I am completing my major in genetics. I am flexible with the length of time I stay and how rent/bond can be paid (e.g. signed onto the lease or not). I bring with me a car and a big ass tv, both of which I am happy to share with future roommates. I only ask in return that I am able to get to the know the people I share my next home with. One last thing, as a form of habit, I always sign off with 'kind regards' and I mean it sincerely. Kind regards, From the old soul that is, Tatiana

I'm a 27 year old engineer from Ireland working in the process of beginning full time work in Melbourne. Easygoing and adventurous, I was backpacking solo all around south east Asia for the last 6 months before I arrived in Melbourne. When I'm not at work I'm most likely chillaxing, socialising, playing sport or in the gym.
Hey future flatmates , I'm Michel, 19 years and from Germany. I just arrived in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. After a a lot of sightseeing and surfing, I realised I defiantly want to spend some more months in town. So thats the reason why I'm looking for a flat. Not only to spent some good moments in it and enjoying Melbourne to the fullest, but rather to have a place to sleep and eat. Besides the good vibes, my plan is to work the majority of the week, to earn some money, to go on traveling the world. Most importantly I need a room as soon as possible. About myself: I'm a open minded person that likes to try everything possible, to meet new people and going with the flow of life. Always friendly and treats every human being with respect. Loyal, peaceful, loving and reliable. Love to have a drink and a good deep talk with a lot of curiosity what the world has to offer.
I've lived in share houses for 5 years, and am respectful of people and the house. I love a good chat but also love chilling in my room. I work full time in marketing during the week and also at the footy on the weekends, go Hawks! I love weekend brunches and Pub Trivia! However my music taste is awful, as a Swiftie, Taylor is kween, but I won't subject you to it, i swear! Keen to create a home with my housemates, not just a shared space.
I'm clean, easy going and am independent but like to have friendly, clean housemates that like the occasional cup of tea/ drinks/ meals together when timing suits :) I've been sharing houses since I was 18 in different countries and am very adaptable. Looking for a new place long term but happy to start with 6 months also. Looking strictly in the areas listed below. The "About me" section isn't displaying correctly but I have only selected "Working full time" so if you see any others, likely due to some bug (?) on this.
I love music, art and going out for a boogie with friends! I often frequent the festival scene, doing various work and volunteering for events and music festivals! I am looking for a place with compassionate people who enjoy life and creating important connections with others! If you want a house mate that will tell you stories till the sun comes up and pat your head then I'm your gal! (I am also neat and tidy and all of those good things)
I'm a 24yo health professional who is moving to Melbourne at the end of April for a job at a Hospital. I am a very active and social person. I enjoy swimming, cycling and running. Then I also really enjoy going out for dinner / drinks when I can. I am also studying part time (in my spare time). I have been living in Cairns for the past 2 years, but am originally from Perth. So looking for people who can give me pro-tips on Melbourne life! Looking for a sociable household to move into, where people hangout when they're around and then also respect each others space too.

Hey everyone, I've just come back from working a construction project in Sydney and am looking to move into a new place asap. Ideally looking at the inner south east suburbs such as South Yarra, Prahran, St Kilda, CBD etc. I'm looking for a fun place household where everyone actually hangs out, have a few drinks together and has a bit of banter at least! Looking around the $200-250 range I'm currently working in the management of maintaining various rental properties, whilst also working on completing my Bachelor of Commerce/Law. I'm a outgoing friendly 24 year old that has lived and worked all over Australia and the globe. Im really into my fitness and the gym, love being outdoors and anything to do with adrenaline, travel, festivals etc. Very clean individual and always happy to lend a hand. Would also be requiring parking as I do have a car. Thanks ✌️
