I'm a friendly, full-time employed queer femme who works 9-5 as a client manager for the public sector in Sydney's CBD. I also study molecular biology at Macquarie University so while I'm sociable I do need some down time and not a 24-7 party. I'm a qualified PT. I'm arty. I like to keep fit, cook something new (with great success!), check out cafes, restaurants and art exhibitions with friends, take photos or enjoy some couch time at home with housemates and pets if you have them -- and I'm a total sucker for Netflix nature docos for obvious reasons. I'm looking for a room WITH BUILT-IN WARDROBE in a vibrant, happy, smoke-free, drug-free home, preferably with queer/queer-friendly professionals. It's none of my business if you keep your bedroom in chaos, but having organised, cleanly shared spaces (particularly the kitchen and bathroom) is very important to me.
Just moved to Sydney from France and looking to meet people. I like to spend time with my roomates. I used to live in an apartment with 5 other people, we are all friends now. I came here to have great time with the people I would meet. I'll start working as a full-time in August and I spend most of my weekend doing climbing and I'll be happy to share that with you.
Friendly, easy going and considerate. Working in the CBD for an engineering company. Moved here from Ireland 2 years ago and keen to stay. Love hiking and getting out of the city at weekends.
27-year-old technology professional originally from Canada but recently immigrated to Australia. Looking for other professionals (male or female) who do their own thing, but also like to have a beer/wine and chat after work sometimes. I always keep common areas very tidy and don't mind splitting the bill for a cleaning service. I work in Ultimo so looking for a place that is within walking distance. Flexible with the move-in date: late August/early September. Currently switching between SIM cards for work, so please message me on this site, not by phone. Cheers :)
Hey! I am 24 and new to Sydney. I am looking for a flat to share with another person or two, however, I would prefer my own room. I would be happy to join or if you would like to team up to find an entirely new place I would be quite keen on that too. I am a friendly, clean, respectful and easygoing person. I enjoy creating a cosy and aesthetically beautiful living space. I would be busy pursuing a masters and possibly teaching part time, but would fancy good company to grab a drink with occasionally or a yummy brunch (which ever you prefer ...or both) :)
Hello! I am a single graphic designer working full time in Alexandria. I'm very quiet but I love my art, movies, and I'm always up to chat with you! I like to watch Netflix and play computer games in my down time so unlimited internet is a must. I also love board games and do my fair share of reading. I have no pets but I wouldn't mind living with a cat. If you like the sound of me and you have a beautiful place shoot me a message and we'll see if we mesh! 🌹
Flexible with the price range. I'm friendly and nice, I mind my own business, I'm really neat and organised and not noisy at all. Very easy going Only turned 16 couple of weeks ago and also recently found out I was "gifted" so I'm trying to get into a selective school for Year 12 this October so I can get a high ATAR to get into law after highschool (preferably fort street highschool or north Sydney girls). I actually dont mind where the apt/housing will be aslong as its not too far from central considering selective schools are unzoned. I have a grant and a sponsor so I'm pretty much set for rent and all that I would do casual shifts for extra income but I will most likely not work so I can focus on my studies Prefer to live in a modern looking place and might choose to have a roommate to share the rent with. I have some experience living in shared houses as I used to live in Singapore in condominiums shared with other people. I can speak English, Filipino and a bit of Italian.
Hi! I'm Cassie, 20-year-old journalist graduating from the University of Technology, Sydney in October 2017. I've recently started working for a major television network in Pyrmont, and think it's a great excuse to finally get off the Central Coast. I'd say I'm pretty sociable but also respect personal space, peace and quiet. I'm generally non-stop busy, but love to wind-down with a drink, good food and music on my nights off. I'm super neat and tidy and absolutely understand the importance of pulling my weight in any house. Would love to meet a group of like-minded professionals who love having a laugh. Preferably searching for an all-female house, but open to other options close to Pyrmont depending on the mix of people. I've indicated I'm ready to move in November, as it's just after I graduate, but happy to discuss earlier - just want to get ahead of things and make sure everything is organised early! Cheers!
I'm a full-time young professional who is neat and tidy. I work in Digital for a financial institution in the city. I love to have a social wine with my friends but by no means a party goer. I'm respectful of people's personal space and enjoy having my own downtime. I also like to bake so I would make my new housemates lots of cookies!
Would like to live somewhere where people are respectful of each other, kind and considerate. A great sense of humour and a friendly smile wouldn't go astray either. Looking for friendship in flatmates - not a sterile home environment. I'm clean, friendly, reliable and very caring of other people. It would be nice to live with likeminded people and I don't care whether or not you have dramas going on in your life, because I will be there for you regardless - because life is filled with dramas and that's what makes us Stronger and more understanding! Send me a message if you see something similar in yourself/yourselves. I am an Artist and a Songwriter/ Musician and Writer. I am very health conscious and love keeping fit and pushing myself to be the best person that I can be and the strongest woman I can be. Budget is up to $250 per week, because anything more is a Ridiculous amount of money to pay for just a room! Not necessary to pay additional rent for more pollution and flight paths - I don't think. And we all gotta eat and have some fun in our lives. Julie :)
Hi I'm Lauren! I'm easy going and relaxed and I'm looking for a room in a share house. I work full time in the medical field and I'm also a full time student. I live a healthy lifestyle and I don't party. I'm friendly and like to socialise but I also like time to myself.
I am looking for somewhere fun to be for six months to enjoy Sydney life, but still have quiet time during the working week to kick goals at the office. I am a creative, piscetarian, I am a great cook, clean and tidy, and am a clear, honest communicator. Aiming for an unfurnished room a budget of $300-$350 per week rent. And I need a bit of space for occasional art making - if possible this would be a huge win.
I am Australian born Engineer, working full time in the city, from 8.30-5 and I have recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane. I am looking for a private room, in a place with unlimited and reliable internet as I do like to game online on the weekends and some weeknights. I will require a furnished room including a desk, as I have my own computer. I have lived in share accommodation before so I know how to be respectful of people's privacy and keep tidy. I enjoy watching sports, like NRL, Formula 1, MotoGP, and playing sports like touch footy, squash, soccer. I do enjoy cooking (though I'm no pro), and will generally keep my area, and kitchen clean. I occasionally enjoy a drink socially and I am a non smoker. I also have no allergy problems, so I can live with pets. I also have a cousin, who is a 24yo female marketing professional and is also looking for a room, and we are also looking for places with 2 available rooms. Will require some form of parking.
I'm a clean, chill, easy-going person currently working and studying full time in urban planning. I'm generally a homebody that likes to chill out and watch Netflix/read/listen to music etc when at home. While I do like down time by myself, I also like to get to know my roommates. I feel that it's really important to get along. I would love to find somewhere I could stay long-term.
Im Dan. 24 year old physiotherapist working in Balmain. Looking for something closer to work because I'm sick of commuting. I like to keep fit, cook, read and enjoy the occasional netflix binge. Hoping to find somewhere thats a home rather than a house where everyone is friendly and we can wind down after a day at work together with a drink from time to time. Enjoy the occasional meal together but also can respect each other's privacy. Not looking for a party house. Cheers!
