Hey Potential House mates, I am Arjun (AJ) and work with the Red cross. Moving to Adelaide after 4 and half years in Melbourne. (Got a promotion can explain in detail if we plan on getting a place together. :) I am clean and always pay the rent and bills on time can give you references if it helps. Looking to get a house with like minded people. Age, gender or orientation does not matter to me. I love traveling, binge watching TV series and cooking. Don't mind pets, Love dogs. Bit of a beach bum would love a place close to the beach if possible but not too fussy :) The doggo in my profile is not mine. Don't know what else to say on here as I don't want this to sound like a dating profile. :) Hope to hear from you soon. Arjun
I'm a Student admitting in to the University Of Adelaide. Am an Indian & pretty chilled as a person, friendly & also helpful. At times, I want to experience my own space. Looking for a nice place to stay. Stay duration depends on how good the room is & also the distance from the University matters the most.
My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
I'm a mature trans woman who can be social when appropriate, and self-contained when not. I respect other people's privacy and property. I'm not much of a green thumb but do well with destructive gardening activities. I am pretty handy around the house - I have my own power tools and know how to use them safely. I have worked in IT for the last 22 years. As such, I'm pretty handy with helping out with tech matters. I am between roles right now, but when I am earning, I do so in the low 6 figure range. I am looking not just for a room for me, but for a place that has a rumpus area (or similar) that I can use for recording podcasts with half a dozen friends a couple of nights a week. I've just had to downsize from a 3BR house, so I still have a fair amount of stuff that I need room for as well. (Most of it is in plastic tubs and can be stacked vertically.) Note: Thanks to factors beyond my control, I have a hard limit for rent of $148/week at the moment. I can pay separately for utilities/internet but the rent has to be below that number. Bond can probably be fudged if I pay an extra week or two.
Hi my name is Shannon, I am 24. I am studying youth work, not currently working but looking for it. When I do work it’s usually in the hospitality industry as a waitres, front of house staff. I keep to myself but am more then happy to also be friends with my house mates if they are open to that as honestly I think the best house mates are ones you can have a laugh with! If anyone has any questions let’s me know please. I am really eagar to find somewjere affordable as I feel more myself living out of home. I love them independent feeling that comes with it. I also clean up after myself and will respect my house mates wishes and needs. PLEASE MESSAGE MY NUMBER AS I HAVENT UPGRADED THIS YET
Hi There! My name is Tia and I am looking for a safe and comfortable place to call home. I am currently studying criminology and psychology at Flinders University which I’m hoping will lead to a career as a criminologist or forensic psychologist. I am easy to get along with and love to joke around and have fun. I love going to concerts and gigs whenever I can, but contrary to that I also enjoy quiet leisure activities like playing my PS4, reading and watching Netflix (how good was Mindhunter?!) when my busy uni schedule allows me. I pull my weight with chores and housework and like to keep things clean and tidy. I am looking for a room that’s around $150pw if bills are not included, however if bills are included in rent I can manage up to around $170-$180pw. Non-furnished rooms are not a problem. If there are pets in the house I count that as a plus! Smokers are also not an issue but I am a non-smoker myself. I am also interested in starting a share house with one other person, perhaps around the Ashford/Glandore area (close to South Rd or Anzac Highway). If anyone is interested shoot me a message! Thank you for reading my profile, I hope to hear from you soon! :)
I will be a 2nd year nutrition and dietetics student (2019) at Flinders University looking for a room in a shared house. I am quiet, friendly and clean. I have been living in Adelaide for a year already after moving from the NT so I have furniture available as well. I am a very study focused person but am always looking for reasons to procrastinate. Coming from a small town I am also interested in the culture of Adelaide.
I am Asian (Filipino) from Manila, Philippines. I am a hilarious person, likes to meet new friends and share new ideas and knowledge. I like to work in a team, I am generous and happy to provide assistance to other people who are in need of help if I can. Like to listen to Radio and I am a Big Fan of BBT - love watching the tv series everyday.
I’m clean, I bake, I occasionally knit. I’m your grandma except more open-minded. Probably. I’m a non-smoker and I drink very occasionally - I’m much more likely to deso drive you to maccas. I work part time as a receptionist and attempt to be an artist the other part of the time. I have one, house trained cat who thinks he’s a dog.
Current full-time university student, working part time in the city. I am pretty laid back and enjoy relaxing at home or going out for good food. I am studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics and will graduate mid year 2022. So I would prefer to have a long term lease where i can finish my studies and decide where to go and what to do from there. I have lived away from home for about 8 months, on my own, before i started my studies, that said this is my first time that i will be sharing accommodation with anyone outside family. I work in hospitality, at a 5 star hotel, mostly in the evenings on the weekend, home by latest 00:00. I do get the occasional week where I'll be on mornings where I'll be up early, about 05:30ish but i am very considerate of this an can try my best to be a ninja when I leave or arrive home. I've always been a very tidy person and grew up in a household were you earn your keep by contributing to house work, so I am no stranger to chores in and around the house. Prefer organisation to chaos, so I am more than happy to work to any cooking and/or cleaning roster/schedule. I personally don't have any pets, but i have grown up with a family dog and fish tank, that said I do love both dogs and cats, and am more than happy to live with any sort of pets and help look after them. I have my own car and thoroughly maintain it, so either parking on the property or off street parking would be greatly advantageous and preferred. I have traveled/immigrated a bit through my teens, thanks to my fathers career, and am no stranger to meeting new people. I was born in South Africa, lived in New Zealand and finally settled here in Australia with my mother and brother. I speak fluent English, although i still do have a slight South African accent remaining, but that shouldn't hinder communication in anyway. I usually get along very well with everyone i meet and am quite friendly and polite, in general I am a quiet person and highly respect and appreciate my own as well as others privacy and space. However, i am more than happy to sit around a dinner table or lounge room engaging in good conversation, watching TV or eating food. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games, watching Netflix or Youtube and working out at a gym or playing sport when in season. Not sure what else i can say about myself besides that i look forward to meeting and getting to know my new house mates and hopefully lifetime friends :)
I work for the Government for 16 years. I am quiet, matured, honest and reliable. I always pay my rent on time and have a very good rental history. I also have good references from former landlords.
hi everyone, i am a smart and honest woman with good sense of humor, i am from colombia and i am going to study in Adelaide; i like watching movies and go to walk outside in the parks in the free time. I am just looking to live with a clean and respectful flatmate
Hi! I'm Tyler, and despite my age, I'm a quiet, respectful and clean housemate who's down to keep to myself, or to be sociable and have a drink (non-alcoholic, of course (; ) if you want! Regardless, I spend a lot of time at my partner's house, and often spend the night there, so you won't hear much from me. I'm queer and prefer to live with other queer people. I'm a musician and I work and do full time school, so my place in the house is little more than a hangout space when I'm waiting to go to my partner's and a practice room! I'm open to rooms anywhere below North Adelaide and above Hallett Cove - looking mainly for the South or West. Contact me for more info, I don't bite!
I'm a freelance visual artist in both physical and digital media. I'm currently seeking employment but my housing situation has been so rocky the past 6 months I'm struggling. I have 2 daughters who spend weekends with me; aged 7 & 8. both very well behaved and respectful. I'd like to be in my own home eventually but with Christmas approaching and having no current house I'd love to just move in somewhere that can offer stability for me while I ground myself enough to continue my search. I'm 420 friendly but respectful. I keep to myself a lot but am happy to share time/dinners etc. together as well. I can cook and cater to all sorts of diets, so I'm a valuable asset to any home. I'm very tidy, but not judgemental of lived in homes, clutter doesn't bother me. I love animals so if you have pets I'm very likely to spoil them with love and treats. my current share housing situation has turned very volatile and my safety and privacy has been infringed upon so I am looking for something ASAP. please text me if I sound suitable.
I am always up for family dinners, spontaneous adventures and movie nights. I am looking for somewhere that isn’t just a house but a home that will be tidy and also environmentally conscious.
I'm plant based, i love to cook and bake so there will always be treats in the house. I play acoustic guitar, I love art and I also have a pet blue tongue lizard. I'm currently at tafe studying hairdressing too.
Hey future flatmates :) My name is Zoey and I'm a final year nursing student working part-time. I am looking for a room in a gay-friendly shared house, I like to keep things tidy, nice and clean! I have a digital piano and I write scores, would love to live with people who enjoy art and music. I keep the volume down when necessary, it will not bother anyone :) I'm pretty chill, easy to get along with, like to grab a drink or two in town with friends on the weekends when I'm not busy. Or stay home read and Netflix. If you have a place available in my preferred suburbs, please hit me up :D
Just finished my uni degree, studying to get my builders license at TAFE. Currently working as a maths tutor, bartender and volleyball coach. Looking for rent at or below $200 a week. No preference on genders to live with. In my spare time I play volleyball, practice jiujitsu and play video games. I have one dog (black lab) who would stay on some nights I'm not working. He's an excellent doggo, friendly and well mannered :) Looking to move out ASAP. Generally very clean and willing to help clean my fair share of the house. Hit me up if you think I'd fit in at your place.
Hi, my name is Chris. I am an honest, trustworthy, hard working and super clean young man that has lived in Mitcham most of my life. My schooling was at Scotch College so I am very familiar with the area and the south eastern suburbs in general. I am always willing to help out and contribute as much as possible to keep a positive living environment and I enjoy relaxing and having a few wines/beers on weekends. I think my level of cleanliness is well above the average person so rest assured I will keep and look after a home as if it were my very own. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any further questions or would just like to chat regarding team-ups for properties. Thank you :)
I love to have a chat over a cuppa. I enjoy cooking and gardening. I am respectful. I have a 4 year old spoodle named Banjo who loves belly rubs and cuddling. Love playing games but my favourite thing to do is to sit down with a good book.
Easy-going, fun and friendly. Would prefer to be in a social household with like minded people. Hospitality worker that works a different roster every week but mainly nights and weekends. Enjoys cooking, music, having mates around and watching the footy with a cold beer.

Hi, my name's Sarah and I'm looking to move to a share house to save some money on rent. I currently live alone with my dog Max. He's a very well-behaved Maltese cross who adores cuddles. I'm currently working part-time but will be moving to full-time soon. I tend to keep to myself most of the time but I also like to socialise and have a chat, so ideally I'd like to live with others that are similar. I usually spend my spare time reading, watching Netflix or catching up with friends. I'm a bit of a foodie and love going out to dinner.
Hi ! I am a full-time working physiotherapist and a very happy-go-lucky person. I will help in household chores and keep it clean [very! I am a cleanliness freak!]. Also, I am almost always up for some socialising and equally mindful if you need your space. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
Hey! I'm Alicia! I am currently in my first year of study but have been struggling with travel so have decided to move to adelaide in 2019 to complete the rest of my studies! I study at Tabor, in goodwood, so around there would be ideal! I'm a christian, so on weekends I would most likely be doing things. I'm a quite, respectable young lady (20) from the barossa valley, moving to adelaide to study. I have moved out of home once before with a friend and their were no issues, I kept the place tidy and respected everyone in it. I'm looking for a place in January of 2019.
Friendly, sociable, love to go out but also appreciate spending the night in. I study quite a bit for my course as well and can respect people's privacy. Sometimes I'll study at Uni, sometimes at home, but I'd say I'm out quite a lot because of my casual job anyway. Move date is extremely flexible right now as I'm not in a time-sensitive position. I speak a bit of Spanish and can cook an alright meal every now and then!
I am a full-time engineer. I am on 3 weeks on 1 week off roster. So basically most of the time I will work away from home. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a furnished house/flat/apartment. I have own bed. Or if you have storage for putting my bed is also fine. I am pretty quiet and care about hygiene. Especially not a party animal if it comes to that. I am a non-smoker and don't have a pet. I expect reasonable rental since I will not be at home most of the time. I like cooking in my spare time and share my cooking especially good at Asian food. And at same time do some jogging along the beach.
