Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I am a qualified auto tech, currently working in retail and am looking to make a career change into engineering/land surveying this year. I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or two. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. I've lived in sharehouses for years so I know how they operate in terms of cleanliness and general consideration for others. Oh and I pay my rent and bills on time! Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
I am an inspection manager in property management 3 days per week. My work takes me all around Melbourne. I do a fair amount of house sitting / pet sitting so there will be weeks when I am not there. So I am really just looking to rent a cheap, small, room in a share house as my back up accommodation, ie a place to go to when I am not house / pet sitting. Clean, cheap, tidy and reasonably quiet is basically what I am looking for. My interests: Scifi, fantasy and spy thriller movies and books are my favourites as well as asian series on netflix I love the martial arts and sword fighting in some of the action and period dramas. I believe that I am pretty easy going. I quite like gardening and have a somewhat green thumb. I am a non smoker and I very rarely drink alcohol as I get hungover the next day after 1 glass of wine. Vices, chocolate, and smooching with dogs and cats. I no longer have any of my own pets which is why I do the petsitting.
Hello potential future housemate, I'm Michelle and I'm 34; I work as a Training Consultant in the city. My favourite things in the world are my pets, family, friends and music.. i have it playing almost constantly.. not loudly or through headphones. If you ask my previous housemate; I am low maintenance, because I keep to myself most of the time. That being said.. we do occasionally have dinner and drinks - so I don't always hide away I'm happy to socialise, but also happy to chill and have alone time - my number one priority is my animals. They do drop quite a bit of fur, so cleaning up after them is almost a full time job in itself!! I'm vegetarian, and happy to have occasional meals together, but mostly just take care of myself. I have a couch, washing machine, broken dryer (which I keep meaning to get fixed), fridge and bedroom furniture My pets - Zoe is a Bernese Mountain dog and LOVES people, she is such a happy girl. She is generally an outside dog, and inside with me.. when I am home Luna is a Ragdoll, and is pure cat - everything is on her terms and she is not afraid to ask for it (but secretly she loves attention). Luna is an inside only cat, as her breed has no 'street smarts' - they think everything is their friend. If you would like to know anything else - please ask!
I'm Maddi, 22 years old and a nurse at Box Hill Hospital. As I work a combination of day, afternoon and night shifts I can sometimes come and go at odd hours. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends over dinner, watching netflix, going to the gym and travelling! I am a respectful and clean housemate. I am looking for an unfurnished room in the Blackburn area.
Greetings, I'm 18 years old and will be studying a Diploma of Justice at Swinburne University. I'm tidy, neat and enjoy socializing. My pass time is primarily gaming but I also play guitar & occasionally paint and build models. I also tend to be non-judgmental and always up for a chat. some extra details to note, I don't smoke and only occasionally drink, I also have no preference for genders of my fellow flatmates but I hope that they are polite. I should mention that I can do $210 A week for rent if it includes bills. :)
Hey, I’m Jess! I moved out of home and into one sharehouse years ago, and now need to find a new place to live. I’m a full time student at Deakin, so I want to live somewhere close to it, and I work part time as a pharmacy assistant. I want to live with people who I can be friends with. The plan is that each time I come home I feel free in my choices to go hang out in my room or to hang out with people in common areas, ideally with some times where we are all choosing to be together. I’m a pretty simple person to live with—I read, I watch movies and tv, I like music but don’t have any instruments to subject you to, I like having desserts to share with people. I’m in need of an unfurnished room. Here’s hoping that we’re able to live together!
Heya! I'm Callum. I'm moving from Canberra to Melbourne to study Journalism at Deakin University. I just returned from 6 months travelling around South America, North America and Europe staying in hostels so I'm pretty adaptable to any personalities. I love podcasts, video and boards games and going out dancing with friends. If you want a reliable, chill and friendly housemate I'm your dude.
Hi my name is Charley, I am 21 years old and work full time in Mill Park on a rotating roster that includes weekends. I am easy going and I am respectful of other peoples space. I am quite neat and tidy plus organised when it comes to paying bills. I do enjoy my own space but will never turn down a chat/dinner/night out. In my spare time I am a cheerleader so I train two nights a week plus competitions on the occasional weekend. On my days off if I am not catching up on housework and chores I love to go down to the beach for a surf/tan, explore and go for day trips or just chill out and catch up on my new tv addiction. I'm hoping to find someone who is like minded and can become friends with not just housemates. I currently live with two other girls however our lease is running out and we are all going in different directions. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will be occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Hello, I am looking to move closer to work, I do work full time in sales. A bit about me, I enjoy keeping active and going to the gym while I also play video games and enjoy catching up with a few friends of a weekend. Thank you!
Hi, I recently separated from my partner and need to find a new place to live. I work full time at Caulfield Racecourse and im a musician on the side. Ive been in Melbourne 18 years, im originally from Luxembourg and also born in Belgium so im Multilingual. Though English is my first language. Im usually up early for work so i prefer living with people that like to sleep at night and are drug free. Im quite social but prefer my own space most of the time, mainly because i work on my music after hours. When i find the time i like to head out to the hills and go for a run in the forest or 4wd’ing and camping.
Hey my name is Desiree, (right hand side of photo) I am 23 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand. I work and study in transport and logistics. Long days and even longer weekends (studying and catching up with friends) mean's I'm generally not home a lot! Looking to go flatting somewhere close to Hawthorn as i don't want to commute too far to work. Also I don't smoke and I don't mind pets!
I'm Peter 23, Will be heading back to uni in 2019 to study a Bach of Business (Sports Management). Currently working as a Swimming Teacher. having just left my retail management job to go back to full time study. I am very active and follow sport avidly especially EPL, A-league and Cricket. Currently I play and umpire field hockey. in the winter and play a few games of cricket in the summer. around the house i enjoy just chilling out with a beer watching some netflix or a good game of FIFA or 2K. I'm Galen also 23. Currently coaching 3 domestic basketball team and a rep side, playing basketball still myself. Enjoy watching sports, movies and the odd tv series from time to time (Brooklyn nine-nine or HIMYM mostly). I also tend to head out a fair bit on the weekends, also working most weekends. I've been known to enjoy having a few cold ones haha Studying civil engineering at RMIT in the city, also working as an undergraduate engineer. With all of this we'll most likely be sharing a house but will rarely see each other during the week between work, basketball and uni. We are both very laid back most of the time, like to keep neat and tidy. we plan to share food so the option is there for you to join in on that. we will have most furnishings for the house but happy to chat about anything you can provide. bills will obviously be shared between the 3 of us, ideal in a 3 bedroom house with a nice backyard as (Peter) is hoping to get a dog. and looking to be within 2kms of Public transport. we have already found a few houses just looking for a 3rd to jump on the lease with us
Hello potential roomies. i am 28-29 yrs old I am Clean & tidy individual. I currently work Casually in Hospitality, events & as a crowd controller On the weekends so I hope any potential room mates aren't bothered by this as i'd probably be coming home late like after 1am. And do some voluntary work atm during the week rest assured i am no bludger and although i am struggling i will make every effort to find full time work or be a good roomy chore wise to earn my keep (one thing at a time) I don't drive atm but don't worry I am not asking anyone to be my uber taxi. With that said Though i am not one to refuse a lift if i find myself stuck outside transport hours getting home. (negotiable) What I am Looking for in a place: I do have some furniture but i don't have everything so if the room has a tall boy & built in robe, for storing my clothes & boxes of stuff (bonus.) i am an adult so large room needed I have some furniture at my parents place belonging to me such as bed, bookshelf, study desk, beside tables that will accompany me. Also Kitchen with basics to cook and eat with. i am happy to buy some crockery to have meals etc and if people want to do shared dinners i am willing to pitch my pot and buy ingredients and contribute to a meal. As i know living out of home is hard :X And bonus if Internet is available so I may B-Pay rent & all bills etc when due. (all this to be discussed of course as to a system of how bills are paid etc) Prefer to fit within my budget and for ALL bills to be covered in rent or some as we all know the struggles of renting and budgeting on low income. (again negotiable.) So if I sound like the flatmate 4 u message us. i am fairly new to the whole renting thingy so apologies if i have left things out i am sure you have questions about me so don't hesitate to contact me. What I am asking for in a roommate: Social- wants to get to know a bit about me the person living with them. i am shy but i like to try to be social and make friends where i can despite my age & difficulties but at the same time i respect peoples privacy but... if i am going to be living with you long term it be great if say example Tuesday is friends night and you guys are having a movie night if you don't mind me joining you or want to go out to a movie then extend an invite or if your someone who gyms or trivia & wants a partner count me in. Nice People smoking is fine although i don't smoke personally so not inside if you do. Casual drinker is fine. i enjoy a casual drink but i am not a heavy drinker. No drugs i don't want to be around this personally NO snoring (sorry but i value my sleep and if you snore we are not going to get along) My last flatmate sounded like a rusty chainsaw lol. and it kept me up at night to the point i could no long stand it that & the constant drinking and loud music too any more info please feel free to contact me. Will also consider team ups for a new rental if their are people male or female of same age bracket 20-30 3-4 people max including me . (i am nice i don't bite LOL) if you like superheroes & marvel we will get along fine i am sure.

I'm 22yo, queer trans guy and I am moving from WA to Melbourne to study, I'll be coming over to melbourne on the 27th of january. I'll be studying either at Deakin or Monash so anything nearby is great. I am considering north or west so long as its close to public transport. I am pretty easy going though I am more on the introverted side, happy to have a chat and share dinners but also happy to keep to myself, I'm not looking for a "party house". I'm into health, nutrition, art, drawing, painting, photography. I am an animal lover despite having none of my own, so i would definitely be befriending any pets. I'm pretty clean and I am all about open communication. I'll be leaving behind my veggie garden so anywhere with one would be a bonus but certainly not required. I don't smoke, don't really drink much and I'm a vegetarian (but I'm not bothered about what anyone else eats).
Current sharehouse lease ends in 3 months, looking for a new place. I work full- time in sales at Airport West, in my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, creative pursuits. I go to the gym regularly and i'm into healthy eating. Would prefer to share with women only thanks.
I work a lot as I have 2 jobs in the health industry, so when Im not working I love my rest. I am pretty quiet when I am at home and if I want more I generally head out for drinks with friends. I am a firm believer that home is a sanctuary and should be calm and quiet. Looking to share with other people who feel the same. I am friendly, happy to chat, easy going, clean. Also happy to do housework whenever I have time.
