I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in mid (15th) February to start an Arts/Science degree at Deakin University, I’ll also be working part time. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and sociable. I love good music, nice wine and am generally very relaxed and easy going. I spend most of me free time reading, hiking and drinking way to much coffee (one of the perks of living with me is that I come with a coffee machine!) I’m a trained vet nurse and animal lover and I have two kitties of my own (who will be staying with friends in Canberra) so living with other fur babies would be ideal. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon Sophie
Hi all, Jenkins is my name .... well actually Jenna but I am the bee's knees and am looking for a place to move into ASAP as its time to fly the coop. I work full time, have a car that doesn't need special attention and outgoing, friendly and love a drink or ten :) :) I love socialising with my girls and look forward to adding to the gang.
Hey funky souls! I am Alannah and I am a student at Deakin University in Burwood, originally from South Gippsland, studying my first year of Psychology. I'm looking for accommodation around the areas listed. I loooove having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts, rock climbing, and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. On a more serious note I am clean, tidy, very respective of people, their personal choices and privacy, and super chill with pretty much everything. 😁 Don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx
Hi, I'm Jess, I study English and teaching at Flinders Uni (and work there sometimes as a Student Ambassador). I also work as a kitchen-hand. My hobbies include; always paying my rent and bills on time; immediately connecting with new housemates; watching cartoons and films; playing guitar (quiet, non-obtrusive acoustic); video games; writing; reading; skating blah blah blah... My girlfriend is also named Jess (saving YOU, potential housemate so much time remembering our names or even distinguishing us). She's a musician and were moving to Melbourne to pursue her music career. She's into most of my aforementioned hobbies but slightly more of a hippy, beachy sort, and slightly less of the 'brooding writer' thing I've cultivated. We would love to find somewhere 4:20 friendly. I'm a smoker, but more than happy to do it outside. I'm happy to live with any race, sexual orientation, religion, gender etc. Basically, it's all good.
I'm a laid back person studying at Monash University that likes to feel comfortable and relaxed around the people I'm living with. I am willing to chat to anyone about almost anything so I get along with most people quite well. My friend, Kiara and I are looking to set up a share house with someone who won't live as just a stranger but as someone we can have a chat to and have fun with. Share houses shouldn't be this awkward experience of strangers they should be a great way to get to know people. I am a clean person that loves a good discussion and to have a bit of fun. We are looking for somebody to share a house with that feels and is looking for the same kind of experience. Both of us are country people, living in Melbourne for uni who both work and have over a year's experience each of living away from home, paying rent, etc. Happy to take on first-timers or experienced people so long as they are reliable!
I am a tidy guy who generally likes to keep to himself but is up for a chat every now and again. I recently graduated from university and am moving to Melbourne for work and am looking for a place to stay while I work.
I'm a fun bubbly person with a great attitude to life. Interested in the great outdoors, sport, movies, going on adventures and having a drink every now and then. I also enjoy baking and will be willing to bribe people with promises of brownies and cakes :D Happy to interact with other people but also respect everyone's privacy. I'm a second year nursing student, working part-time, looking for somewhere to stay in my last year of uni.
Hi future flatmate(s)! My name is Andreas, I´m 27 years old and I´m from Germany. I´m working full-time as a teacher at a primary school. I just finished my studies back in Germany (English and Sports) and have the great opportunity to work in wonderful Melbourne. Some details about me: I do a lot of sports (on weekends you can join me when I go to Torquay or Mornington Peninsula fur surfing), make music (I have a Midi Controller to make beats) and I´m very sociable. I´ve got lots of experience in living in a shared flat, I´m very tidy and clean and I absolutely respect everyone´s privacy. I love to cook and after work I like watching a movie or sitting in the kitchen and have a "Feierabend-Bier". I´m looking for a flat where I and my flatmates feel comfortable. A place where everyone can relax and enjoy life. Sounds good? Please feel free to ask me any questions! Cheers, Andreas
I'm respectful genuine sincere ,and I am as I see myself at least as being non judgemental and more importantly Real. I'm of a mature age easy to get along with all ages and I'm looking ahead here at 2017. I'm looking at least in trying to find a property thou really Don't mind when, be in the 4 weeks around end of February or up to even 12 months for the right property , However late February or first up in March perfect. Our son and daughter in law with their 2 boys have re located to Eltham so, why wait thou I do come with a near 14 year old dog and I realise not everyone wants an extra pet , however Jack as he is known is really an apology size wise to be even seen as a canine and he is not a bother to anyone. He is but 2.3 kilos at 20cms high sleeps sadly between 20 and 21 hours every day so his time is near, but the time he is awake he is a lovely boy friendly to everyone ,not snappy nor nasty but believes even at his age everyone and everything is a friend and still, at near 14 has not worked out the word "Danger". Obviously, he is not destructive never has been, sleeps in his bag in a laundry. He is a very clean dog as I bathe him weekly. Sadly he won't be with us over the next months, so till the time comes he will be with me. I would be less Of a person if I walked away now even for a property. So if there is anyone looking at a long term rent possibly years opposed to a 6 or 12 months lease I would really be happy and appreciate you getting back to me. I'm a hands on granny so would move to Eltham enabling me to be just that and being that support network to both mum and Dad. I'm very house proud I 'm passionate about cooking love a semi rural Outlook and very much involved in conservation environment My hobbies are varied Criminal law is at the top of my list Keeping our children safe protection of youngsters , The usua,l travel reading a good book bit, love a garden, Antiques and protection of our endangered species of both flora fauna as well as our feathered friends. I'm looking at a total independent granny flat studio or villa preferably in Eltham making it possible to be with the grandchildren and to play an important role in their lives in a positive way I could possibly move in earlier Last week of February should something be not to far off but I could possibly be worth the wait if you should desire a very long term tenant. I'm respectful always friendly but I to enjoy my quiet times so , I guess in hindsight it's called the age factor. Thanks everyone. Anyone who has a property with room to move than can accommodate nice furniture love to hear from you as well as a dog with his owner. Jack, all jokes aside is not a bother and would not disrupt a household. I simply won't leave him behind.
My name is Chelsie, I'm 27, single, have just finished uni and got my first full-time primary teaching job near Diamond Creek. I have worked in a CBD law firm for 8 years now but decided to change into Education. 2017 is going to be a busy year as a graduate teacher so I'm looking for a comfortable, chilled out space. I'm a non-smoker, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and would love to live near parklands/creek/river walks. I have a niece and nephew who are under 1 who I enjoy spending time with. On weekends I like going out for lunch/dinner, shopping and visiting friends.
I am a former IT consultant who decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Medical doctor. Therefore I am studying full time, working during holiday periods. I am quiet, organised with my things & the house, tidy and clean. I spend a lot of time studying at my room so a quiet place is important. In my free time I love reading, going to the beach, travelling, hanging out with friends for food or drinks, going to concerts etc.
My name is Beau, I'm a 25 year old transgender, bisexual, vegan, moving back to Victoria after living in NSW for 7 years. I've been studying a Bachelor of Visual arts, but will be switching to a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin in 2018. In the meantime I will be working and hopefully studying a Barbering course part-time. I'm very clean, respectful, reliable, and laid back. I love cooking, gardening, and painting. I'm not a huge party animal, but enjoy a couple of drinks once in a while. I have a 3 year old French Bulldog cross, named Yoda. He's extremely friendly and loveable, and very easygoing. He won't dig up the garden or bark excessively, but he does enjoy a tummy rub and snacking on fruit. He gets along well with other pets, at the moment he's living with another dog and two cats.
Hi there, I'm clean, tidy and pay the rent on time. I am also sociable as a roommate and get along well with most people. Please call or text me if you have a place available for inspection. Also, I am travelling with my partner Sophia so the place need to also able to accommodate couples.
Hi, my name is Sotara. I am a Registered Nurse who is trustworthy, down to earth and reliable. I have no pets (I do love animals), single (unfortunately), and not much of a party person but don't mind having a few drinks and a bit of fun on non-working days. I like to have a good laugh but respect people's space and privacy. I treat people how I'd like to be treated. I would like to move into a room/home with a family/friendly vibe. I am looking at moving to Melbourne, Boxhill or surrounding suburbs. Dates for moving will be 29/1/17 to Early days of February. Please contact me if you think I fit your description. Any other questions just ask!
I am a 29 year old female, laid back, clean, adventurous and like the outdoors. I don't like to party hard but like a drink every now and then. I work full time so would only be around in evenings and on weekends. I have a beautiful friendly cat named Harriet who I would like to take with me. She mainly spends her days outdoors but sleep inside at night. She is super clean, doesn't smell and is completely toilet trained.
I'm an easy going, happy to talk shit, and slightly dopey aerospace engineering student. I am a window cleaner when I'm not at uni, so the windows will (probably) be nicely kept. Preferred price is around $170 per week including bills/internet. The lower the cost the better though! ;) For the next two years i'll be studying at RMIT Bundoora. So i could be down for a lease which is that long. Just got to find the right home! I'm hoping to make a few new friends, knuckle down to focus on my study, and live in a lighthearted and chilled environment. I play indoor soccer every week, and am always keen to play sports, or throw a Frisbee. Or just be out-doors to have a gander. I come with a ping pong table included in the package.
Hi, URGENT ACCOMODATION NEEDED ... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom but that is not a deal breaker ceiling fans and or aircon would be nice. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot on the film late 2017 if I can raise the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home hence the study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio, looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a nine year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am needing to move ASAP . Cheers Peita:)
I'm an assistant store manager who is more tea than human at this point. I love Korean dramas, live music and dumplings. I'm a social person and hope to make a friend out of this, whilst still being respectful of each other's space and downtime! I've mostly always lived out in the eastern suburbs but need to look for a place closer to the CBD for work.
I'm Walter, I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years, finished my studies here about two years ago and fell inlove with this country. I work full time as an ICT Business Analyst for a software start-up in Ringwood and in my spare time I generally like to be out and about socialising with friends. I have been living in a great share house for the last two years, but my housemate's (and landlord) parents have decided to move in, meaning that I need to relocate. A mate and I (Arnold - Also working full time in IT) have decided to find a place together and/or to find a third person that would be willing to start a new share house. Lets grab a brew (coffee or beer) and see whether we'd be suited to living together? I look forward to hearing from you!
I am friendly, relaxed and easygoing and feel it's important to live in a 'home' not just a 'house' with respect for one another in all areas of living and sharing including cleanliness, prompt payment of rent and bills and privacy. I run my own Business and not home a lot but when I am, I enjoy chilling out with a glass of wine (or2) whilst cooking up a storm, engaging in one of my art projects, listening to some tunes, watching a good movie, or catching up with friends.
Hi, I'm Indonesian. I just graduated from my high school and decided to study at Deakin College. I am more of an introvert, so then I prefer a quiet and relaxing environment. I'm not a party girl. Hey I'm Jacob, 17, almost 18, and a student soon to be studying medicine at Monash university. I'm tidy and low maintenance and looking for a share house of like-minded people. Looking for a place that is fit for someone mostly studying but also friendly environment. I do have a small dog, he's a Japanese Spitz named yukio (look them up on Google images you'll fall in love) he is an inside dog fully toilet trained and completely my responsibility all you'll have to worry about is trying not to love him too much. I look forward to hearing from you and am happy to answer any questions you might have. I'm also interested in potentially starting a sharehouse with some others (co-signing a lease) so please message me if you're interested in that also. Cheers!
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as on disability. I have 2 young desexed, indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
We are a very friendly couple from England in our mid twenties who enjoy traveling and have recently moved to Australia and are looking for some housemates to make friends with. We are a neat and tidy couple who enjoy going out every now and then and socialising but also love quiet nights in watching movies. We enjoy playing sports and are quite active and like to go out and explore the city and see new things.
I'm an open minded, very out going, bit of a party loving, enjoys music sort of person. Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar mindset people.
I'm Paris 19 years old, currently living in Dandenong in a house share. Have lived here for a year now, I work full time in child care, and am looking to move closer to Doncaster area as this is where I spend most of my time. Am well aware of how to be a respectful house mate, like my personal space but also always happy to have a chat.
Hi! My name's Sean and I'm looking for the perfect place to call my own. I'm an avid reader (tending towards more fantasy novels), gamer on both PS4 and PC (even though I'm okay at best) and all round friendly guy. As such, I'm looking for a place with great internet first and foremost, as well as excellent housemates that don't mind sharing a great time or a gaming session. I'm currently employed at Whittlesea McDonalds working about 30-40 hours a week, as well as looking for a secondary job in an area that I'm more interested in, such as JB Hi Fi or EB Games/Zing. I'm always down for a movie or games night, including board games if you're so inclined. So what are you waiting for?! Shoot me a message if you feel like we'd hit it off and I'll get back to you as soon as I can to arrange a meet and greet! Thanks for your time :)

Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
Hey guys, 24 year old chippy. Buying a house this year so looking for something in the meantime. Work 6 days a week but still loves to party. Prefer to live with people my age. Gay- but you wouldn't know. Cheers
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hello! we are Zarah and Jack, we love animals and reading books, we also like living in a clean and tidy environment. Zarah's a bit of a neat freak and likes keeping the room as clean as possible and Jack pretty much gets along with anyone.
Hey! I'm a relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for a place to share with housemates who like to chill and have a drink every now and again but also like personal space. I'm working part time at the moment, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! Looking to after the 10th of Feb when I'm back from overseas
I am a down to earth person, clean and tidy. Respect privacy and expect the same. Work full time as well as study. I am not a nerd but have done MBA in Finance as well a Master of Accounting, finance and mathematics being my favorite subjects.
Myself and my cat Millie are tidy, respectful and great company. We love to socialise but also like our own space. Not really a big drinker or party person.. i study as well as work full time!
I am looking for a place to share with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others. Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities. My adorable cavoodle is very clean, very friendly, & quiet & massively well behaved & professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet.
Hi, I work full time as a technician in and around the city, 7:00-3:30 are my typical hours. I grew up in the country and moved to Melbourne 5 years ago for work. Hey Guys, My name is Kelsey, currently studying full time at Latrobe as well as working part-time, I am a relatively outgoing and social person. I love playing sports, but equally love lounging around, binge watching tv on some days too. I absolutely love animals, I don't have pets but if you do, we will most likely get along really well :)
I'm a person who enjoys Video Games, exercise, food and swimming. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs. If I had to sum myself up, I would say I am a mixture of Geek and active kind of person. I can sometimes keep to myself and also be quite sociable depending on the circumstances (not mainly one or the other).
I'm an zoology honours student at Monash University. I moved from Ballarat to Melbourne at the beginning of 2014 and have been renting in a house in Blackburn since then. However, I'm looking for somewhere new to move into to be a little closer to uni for this year. In a nutshell: I ride bikes, play guitar, enjoy animals, am social and don't mind a beer here or there. I am also clean, respectful and always willing to help out, and wouldn't mind meeting some rad people in the process either. Feel free to ask me any questions.
In need of a place with a pool. I run my own pool service and maintenance business and need a pool to regularly test my stuff on. My business is 7 weeks old and i'm BACK IN THE BLACK! BAM! With me in the house the pool will always be perfect. Im a nerd and a handyman, ambitious and a million miles an hour as well as able to relax and have a beer. I bring lots of tools and skills as well as telescopes, puzzles and guitars. I really need a decent mix of people. Ideally 3+ me and mixed in order to have a decent home social life and cheaper rent. I am not looking for a party house, but social is important. I don't hide in my room and I would like to live with people that also don't. I am well house trained. I shower and clean. I can even do dishes! I'm not ocd about cleanliness, but a bit messy and a fallout zone are very different. I have travelled enough now and spent enough time being a kid to be content with settling in the local area to work on my business, which comes with a whole set of new challenges. Looking for my new share family. Matt
