Hey flatemates fam, I'm about to begin studying business at Swinburne University, so I'm just looking at what's available in the area. I'm living in Geelong at the moment and working part-time. Hopefully, I can transfer to a position in the city with my current employer. I also run an online marketing business. So a solid internet connection is ideal; fiber to the front! I'm super nice and respectful - and clean. I'm so keen to meet some awesome people!
I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in mid (15th) February to start an Arts/Science degree at Deakin University, I’ll also be working part time. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and sociable. I love good music, nice wine and am generally very relaxed and easy going. I spend most of me free time reading, hiking and drinking way to much coffee (one of the perks of living with me is that I come with a coffee machine!) I’m a trained vet nurse and animal lover and I have two kitties of my own (who will be staying with friends in Canberra) so living with other fur babies would be ideal. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon Sophie
Hi all, Jenkins is my name .... well actually Jenna but I am the bee's knees and am looking for a place to move into ASAP as its time to fly the coop. Hey funky souls! I am Alannah and I am a student at Deakin University in Burwood, originally from South Gippsland, studying my first year of Psychology. I'm looking for accommodation around the areas listed. I loooove having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts, rock climbing, and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. On a more serious note I am clean, tidy, very respective of people, their personal choices and privacy, and super chill with pretty much everything. 😁 Don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx
I'm Bec and I'm a full-time nurse looking for a new place to live that's semi close to the city. I am a shift worker so living with other people who are similar workers would be ideal. I'm laid back but also tidy and clean. Love to go out for brunch! Currently living in Northcote and would love to stay in the same area (north).
Hi, I'm Jess, I study English and teaching at Flinders Uni (and work there sometimes as a Student Ambassador). I also work as a kitchen-hand. My hobbies include; always paying my rent and bills on time; immediately connecting with new housemates; watching cartoons and films; playing guitar (quiet, non-obtrusive acoustic); video games; writing; reading; skating blah blah blah... My girlfriend is also named Jess (saving YOU, potential housemate so much time remembering our names or even distinguishing us). She's a musician and were moving to Melbourne to pursue her music career. She's into most of my aforementioned hobbies but slightly more of a hippy, beachy sort, and slightly less of the 'brooding writer' thing I've cultivated. We would love to find somewhere 4:20 friendly. I'm a smoker, but more than happy to do it outside. I'm happy to live with any race, sexual orientation, religion, gender etc. Basically, it's all good.
Male, Indian, IT-Professional, non-smoker, friendly, easy going person seeking accommodation in any Melbourne suburb (walking distance from train station) for a period of 2-3 months.
I'm a laid back person studying at Monash University that likes to feel comfortable and relaxed around the people I'm living with. I am willing to chat to anyone about almost anything so I get along with most people quite well. My friend, Kiara and I are looking to set up a share house with someone who won't live as just a stranger but as someone we can have a chat to and have fun with. Share houses shouldn't be this awkward experience of strangers they should be a great way to get to know people. I am a clean person that loves a good discussion and to have a bit of fun. We are looking for somebody to share a house with that feels and is looking for the same kind of experience. Both of us are country people, living in Melbourne for uni who both work and have over a year's experience each of living away from home, paying rent, etc. Happy to take on first-timers or experienced people so long as they are reliable!
I'm well mannered, tidy, reliable, quiet, easy going, can cook, family orientated, part-time worker, what i do for fun? cruising to car meets and places, love to socialize and chill out on my pc, i have lived independently for almost 3 years, so i pay rent/bills on time, love dining out, like to watch movies, hang out with mates, I will respect each others space. I work in finance, recently accepted a transfer, looking for accommodation from short to long term. I dont smoke, I enjoy a sociable drink. I am unable to inspect any places since my work will be keeping me in Brisbane until I move. I am happy to Skype to meet any potential flatmates.
I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.

I can do a lot of necessary work online and by phone. As a musician I won't be plugging the electric in but would like to have my acoustic and classical guitars with me for practise etc. I'm mature in terms of sensible times to do this. I am a smoker but sometimes go days without a cigarette. I believe in social justice for all, compassion and a green earth policy. I also want a 6 month minimum stay. Thank you.

Ben are Carlye are two adventure loving engineers from Colorado in the USA. We spend most of our time outdoors exploring new places. We are extremely clean, well-mannered, and respectful young adults. We are easy-going and can keep to ourselves, but also love engaging in conversation with others, usually over a glass of wine or a pint of beer! We own a home outside of Denver, Colorado and have rented to roommates for the last 5 years, so we know what makes excellent roommates. We will be in the Melbourne area for about 6 months, as Carlye is doing a research collaboration at Swinburne University for her PhD in Product Design. Ben is a mechanical engineer and owns his own prototyping and manufacturing company back in Colorado and will be remotely working. We plan to travel around Australia and surrounding areas most weekends while we are living abroad. We spent the month of January backpacking and hiking through New Zealand before arriving in Australia. We hope to find some wonderful people to live with during our time in Melbourne :)
I'm a fun bubbly person with a great attitude to life. Interested in the great outdoors, sport, movies, going on adventures and having a drink every now and then. I also enjoy baking and will be willing to bribe people with promises of brownies and cakes :D Happy to interact with other people but also respect everyone's privacy. I'm a second year nursing student, working part-time, looking for somewhere to stay in my last year of uni.

neat, tidy, respectful, chilled-out, friendly, and sociable - bit of a geek/nerd, love reading/writing, hope to write the next great Australian novel one day. Don't really have any strong preferences for housemates or roommates, but would like a place that vibes well with an introvert - internet would be nice too.
I'm a graphic designer and PhD student from Indonesia currently enrolled with Swinburne University. I spent most of the time holed up in the university office and enjoy quiet nights but appreciate good conversation and dinner now and then.
My mother has 9 siblings and I grew up in the house of my grandparents. I balance to enjoy the time with other people and appreciate the solitude. I love to cook Central Asian or European meals and share the supper with my housemates from time to time.

Come back from a 3 month holiday in February - Originally lived in St Kilda East and loved it there so Looking preferably round inner eastern suburbs. Not one to cook up a storm, so don't expect a masterchef, but am a pretty tidy person and like to think I could bring that to the table. I don't bring a party home, but do love having a few beers and judging reality tv stars on tv. Will be continuing my uni degree of Urban Development and working 30+hrs a week.
I am a former IT consultant who decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Medical doctor. Therefore I am studying full time, working during holiday periods. I am quiet, organised with my things & the house, tidy and clean. I spend a lot of time studying at my room so a quiet place is important. In my free time I love reading, going to the beach, travelling, hanging out with friends for food or drinks, going to concerts etc.
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. Within the last year I have had to step back from full time work due to increasing study commitments. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night out once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
My name is Beau, I'm a 25 year old transgender, bisexual, vegan, moving back to Victoria after living in NSW for 7 years. I'm very clean, respectful, reliable, and laid back. I love cooking, gardening, and painting. I'm not a huge party animal, but enjoy a couple of drinks once in a while. I have a 3 year old French Bulldog cross, named Yoda. He's extremely friendly and loveable, and very easygoing. He won't dig up the garden or bark excessively, but he does enjoy a tummy rub and snacking on fruit. He gets along well with other pets, at the moment he's living with another dog and two cats.

What makes me great to live with would be that I'm experienced in living in share accommodation, even though I am only 18 years old. I have lived in a boarding house with 40 other girls, where I have learnt to take responsibility for my own cleaning, washing and food prep. I am fun and energetic, but quite relaxed also! I’m going into my first year of university at RMIT studying Engineering and I’m moving up from country Victoria! I already have a job lined up as a VFL Umpire, so I shouldn't have a worry with paying the bills! I love to cook and clean, I’m a neat and tidy person, and I do enjoy laundry, even others! I don't own any pets nor do I smoke, but I can live with those who do! (I really love dogs!!!!) PS. Move date is unknown for now, but around the time suggested!
Hi, my name is Sotara. I am a Registered Nurse who is trustworthy, down to earth and reliable. I have no pets (I do love animals), single (unfortunately), and not much of a party person but don't mind having a few drinks and a bit of fun on non-working days. I like to have a good laugh but respect people's space and privacy. I treat people how I'd like to be treated. I would like to move into a room/home with a family/friendly vibe. I am looking at moving to Melbourne, Boxhill or surrounding suburbs. Dates for moving will be 29/1/17 to Early days of February. Please contact me if you think I fit your description. Any other questions just ask!
I've just moved to Melbourne for work as a chemical engineer in the mining industry. Looking for a share house or studio apartment in the Northern suburbs (I work in Bundoora). I'm not sure how long I'll be here for so I need flexibility, however, I can guarantee at least one month's notice if I do have to leave due to work reasons. At the moment I'm spending most of my spare time rock climbing and going out meeting new people. My main interests are Chinese culture, German culture, gaming, movies, and music. Cleanliness and being able to get a peaceful night's sleep is important to me. I'm not interested in living in a party household and I'm pretty minimalist with my living arrangements.
Hi, just looking for a room for myself. Easy going guy, drama free. I have no pets, non smoker and I am tidy. Do a bit of modelling when asked.
Hello! I'm Matt, I'm 25 and will be starting university in Feb 2017 to finish the degree I started a long time ago haha. I will be studying a Bachelor of creative arts. I am super laid back and friendly. I'm not much of a party goer but I don't mind the odd social drink on the weekends. I am pretty quiet, I love to read and write a lot. I published my first fantasy novella on Amazon early this year. I visit Melbourne fairly often so I'm familiar with the city but I've lived in rural Victoria most of my life so actually living in Melbourne will be a first for me. I've lived away from home since I was 18 so I know how to look after myself and other people's homes. I always tidy up after myself and you won't have to chase me for rent. I've always lived with housemates since leaving home so I know how to live with others and most importantly respect other people. If you have any questions just message or text with your name and include that you're from flatmates and I'll get back to you asap. Cheers! Matt :)
I shall be pursuing MBA from Deakin University from February onward and currently looking for suitable in and around near my university i.e Deakin University, Burwood, Melbourne. I am adventurous and outdoorsy. I like to interact and socialize with people across various wavelengths. I am avid follower of cricket & soccer and I like to to go out on trip/treks (solo and group) at least once in a month. Definitely not an introvert.
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty good sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life style is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. (Though i can be flexible with the bed depending on the quality). I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating with the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally, I'll do my share and a good job at that! :) Having my own bathroom is preferred aswell. Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage, so I don't see it fair to pay for others excessive usage. I will give you peace of mind with my usage :) Also I'm a really big animal lover, so if you have any pets I'll be happy to have them around :) :) 💜 Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
I currently am living in the country working part time at Coles, so I am getting a transfer to a Coles in Hawthorn where I am going to be studying Interior Decoration and Design at Swinburne. I go to the gym as often as I can, prefer to keep to myself and am very friendly and easy-going.
Originally from the Surf Coast town of Torquay, I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne whilst studying at Uni. I am a 4th year law student, studying at La Trobe University, Bundoora. I have plenty of experience living with flatmates as I have lived out of home for the last three years. I have just returned home from an exchange program in the United States, and am eager to continue meeting new people. I study hard during the semester, however I enjoy going out on some weekends. I play guitar, and this is the only noise that I will create. If you enjoy playing, listening or just music in general I will be the perfect housemate for you! :)
Hi all, I'm a 21 year old soon to be full-time Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Physiotherapy student looking for accommodation (preferably furnished) in Bundoora or surrounding suburbs close to LaTrobe Uni. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and am very easygoing. I will be going home to Gippsland for work quite regularly so I will probably only be there 3-4 days a week. Please feel free to message me with any queries and I will be happy to answer ASAP. Thanks :)
