I'm searching for accommodation for a female science colleague that I need to bring to Darwin for 2-4 weeks starting either 7 or 8 June. Our on-site accommodation has been damaged by the cyclone and we cant use it. Hotels are too expensive. I dont know Karen's age, probably between 25 and 40. Needing a comfy place for her, probably preferably with few people and relatively quiet people. Her focus will be on work, not socialising. Anywhere in the Darwin region considered.
Hi We are a couple from Germany. We are working on a mango farm nearby and need a place to sleep. We are both very clean and tidy persons and easy going. We are very quiet and always friendly. We also have a lot of respect for your home. If you have any questions please let us know. Jannik and wencke
I am very friendly, compassionate, caring, sympathetic, practising Christian and tolerant. I am from Mackay in Queensland. I am an African originally from Sierra Leone in West Africa. I moved to Australia as a contract teacher since 2005. I am an Australian citizen.
I have an awesome motorhome and I'm heading back to Darwin this dry season! This says alot. It says I'm well travelled, fun, independent, open-minded and have an awesome sense of humour. That said, I'm totally didactic because I'm also very responsible, mature, non-partyer (unless you count dancing around my bedroom haha), somewhat introverted and easy going. I'm into exploring (obviously), markets (attending as well as running stalls), photography, hiking, watching movies and chillaxing. I'm looking for a fully furnished room (with a desk would be a bonus) for myself and a place where Max the Motorhome can be plugged in occasionally (it has a trickle charger that sometimes needs minimal power). However, if the right place is unfurnished, I can furnish it. I prefer non-smoking homes with positive, easy going flatmates. Dogs, fish and birds are awesome but cats trigger my allergies. A pool or spa would be lovely, as would a location near a gym or outdoor park. A bath (a real sized one, not a tiny one for children and midgets) would be heaven with lots of greenery. Preferred location: within 30 mins drive of Darwin CBD. Date: at this stage, it will be around 3 June with lots of flexibility.
Active lifestyle. Enjoy hikes and often walk the 10 km to the shops and back, I appreciate my surroundings more. Like music and have wide taste, and still like live bands. Like living near coast, and enjoy beach walks - sometimes to watch the sun rise or set. I hope to work for a tour company or in tourism industry. I am easy going, non-smoker, never taken drugs. I respect others' property and privacy. Would be happy to look after things if you go away on trips. I could also forward mail if you wanted. I currently own a house in Kambalda, WA in the Goldfields region. I am mortgage free. If work in Darwin became secure I may sell or rent out my house. Or it could become my holiday home. Would like to share with non-smoking and drug free people.
Considerate, easy-going, open-minded, blunt and honest, active shiftworker. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm super clean, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. As I'm moving from Sydney I would like a place with a spare room and a flatmate open to having friends/family staying occasionally. I do have a partner who I'd like to be able to stay sometimes but as he's not in Darwin it won't be every week. He's an ex-chef without a kitchen so this COULD be to your advantage... :D (I will also be staying at his place so you will have the place to yourself too). I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker. I'm still umming and aahing about furniture and whether I should bring mine or not so will see what pops up (furnished or unfurnished). I do love reading though so would love to bring a bookshelf with stacks of books.... Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D My job starts on 16MAY so happy to do short term or stay the whole year, depending what comes up.
I am a Physio, so you will never have to put up with an injury again. My little whippet,Harvey, and I are looking for a place to call home. I am not one to lock myself in my room all day.i enjoy a nice dinner, glass of wine/beer and watching my beloved AFL team, North Melbourne, play. Tidy and respectful
Hi! My name is Paula and I come from Chile. I'm a very easy going person, who loves music, spending time with friends but I also love some quiet time by myself. I'm organized, vegetarian and a lover of good food :) I'm looking for a place with friendly people, with whom I could cook and have a chat about life from time to time. Xx
I'm a single female from the States on an Australian work travel visa and I've traveled to 40 countries thus far. I absolutely love learning about different cultures and the variation in modes of living throughout the world. I have an MSc. in Policy Analysis and have spent the past four years working in Higher Education. On my free time, I love to go to art museums, hike, binge on a good Netflix series, read a good book, garden, and brunch on Sundays.
Full time helicopter pilot working 3 weeks in rural Australia and 3 weeks in Darwin City, so looking for a nice clean place in Darwin to stay. I’m a social guy but love my personal space as well. I work long hours when in Darwin so won’t be home much. Keen to meet friendly people as I’ve across from QLD. Cheers!
I work fulltime for NT Gov in Darwin city and looking for a relaxed and clean environment with a friendly flatmate. I am equally loving of my privacy and social so would like to get to know you without being intrusive. I spend half the week at my partner's place and he spends the other half of the week at mine. I am a music fan and also like cooking, dining out, going to the movies and watching sport on occasion. I am also an animal lover but dont have any of my own.
Hi I just left my own house in Perth which I am renting out and I know how portant it is to find the right person. I will be working as a tour guide and will be doing extended tours, therefore I will not be the house all the time. I used to have a cleaning business in Perth and I also like a clean environment to live in.. I love animals... Particular dogs and would be happy to walk your dog when I am in town.. Otherwise I like to have fun, the beach and good company.. I am easy going and respectful... Without being boring.. BTW. I am not your typical 54 year old.. Ruther going on 34...ha. ha. Cheers Sabine
