Hi All, My name is Carly and I work for a professional Relocation Company specialising in assisting Filipino Chefs coming into the country on 2 year working visas. We secure accommodation for them prior to arrival for 4 or 12 weeks (visa type dependant). 4 Week stays: we pay 4 weeks up front and the chef pays a 2 week cash deposit on arrival Extension of the 4 week stays are by negotiation between you and the chef and we are here to assist. 12 Week stays: we pay bond (ideally 2 weeks) up front and we pay rent weekly by bank transfer The 12 week stays are likely to extend to 18-24 weeks. We are flexible with the type of accommodation and just ask that it should be fully inclusive of bills and furnished. We meet and great at the airport, bring them to their accommodation and also provide a cultural settlement program including travel card, cultural seminar about life in Australia as well as ensuring they have bank account, TFN and super set up. Filipinos are known for having excellent English language skills, being very respectful and also hard working. Most candidates do not drive so accommodation must be within easy reach of reliable public transport that runs later at night due to nature of chef hours or be within walking distance to their place of work. CURRENT NEEDS: None Anticipated needs (no definite timeline) Nelson Bay - 2 Single Rooms x 12 weeks each - no date at this stage
I'm a Queenslander moving to Newcastle, to study at the University of Newcastle. I enjoy snowboarding, surfing and I'm always up for a good chat.
I’m a grown up female woman. I will more than happily clean, I cook and I like to keep a safe, harmonious and quiet during the week environment to co- exsist in. I work weekends but I totally understand everyone has to have fun! I have excellent spelling, as I am an English and writing Major at uni and I ride a bike so I don’t need a parking space. I work in town so ideally would like somewhere close to that if I can.
Very active lifestyle including yoga, skating and general beaching. Young professional working in hotels administration and gallery administration on the side! Looking for a great group of people to come home to and have a cheeky wine with!
Very easy going. Active, keep to myself but love to socialise.
Hi I'm a full time working professional who has been living overseas for a few years. I'm clean, friendly and social. I love the beach, sports, music, travelling and also enjoy a social drink.
I'm a New Zealander that has been living in Newy long enough that I know my way around but short enough that I still like to go exploring. Before living here, I did the whole gap year abroad thing and lived in London and travelled. I work full time in Honeysuckle on a 9-5 kinda schedule so I keep myself pretty busy during the week. I also like to stay pretty active on the weekends but do have a lazy day every now and then. I'm clean, considerate, respectful but also like to be social and friendly with my housemates.
Hey I’m Victoria, I’m from Canberra moving to Newcastle to start a job on the 9th of April - looking to move down on the 30-31 March. I am looking to team up with 2 female housemates and find our own cool place to call home. I’ll be working full time Monday to Friday so prefer to live with somone who works similar hours. I’ve got furniture to fill a whole house including a spare bed so want to bring everything with me if possible!!! Everything is brand new appliances, TV the works. A bit about me; - I love a beer after work and even more on the weekends. - I’m a keen snowboarder so hoping to switch it up for a surfboard. - I’m loud and try to be funny but you’ll spend more time laughing at my clumsiness than my jokes - I’m mad about live music.. faves are sticky fingers and jungle giants - I have a puppy named Braxton he’s a small English Staffy and the best trained dog you will ever meet because I’m a tough love kinda mum. (He will be coming with me) - I’m super clean freak so don’t mind me when I clean up after you Overall I’m pretty keen to get down and find a sick place and make some new friends soooo.... Hopefully you read this and think wow what a cool lass, let’s team up and find a rad house we can call our own ;) Open to live anywhere that’s cute, happy to pay more for the master room.
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 23-year-old graphic designer who's looking to move to Newcastle for a job in mid-late August. I'm moving from Melbourne because it's bloody cold here in winter and having grown up around the coastal areas of Kangaroo Island and Adelaide, I miss being near the beach. I like to keep busy doing fun things i.e. cooking, surfing, skating, exploring on the weekends and having a yarn over a few drinks. I'm easygoing, clean and tidy and would like to live with people who are too :) At the moment I live with an advertising creative, a nurse and an occupational therapist (all guys), so I'm used to a household with varying schedules. I currently work at a nursery (of the horticulture variety) as well as working a design job, and would love a bit of a backyard to garden/grow food, but am also happy to go without and just fill the house with my extensive plant collection. Happy to live with a fair range of age groups–most of my friends and my three housemates here are in their mid-late 20s or early 30s–in the Newcastle area. Ideally, I'd like to move into an existing house to make the move easier, and I've got no qualms about signing onto a lease if necessary. Would love to have a little Skype meet and greet if you think I sound like someone you'd be keen to have around (can provide endorsements from biased friends and current housemates). **I know it's quite early to be looking for a house but I'm coming up for a couple of days in late April to visit a potential workplace, so it would be a good chance to meet in person with potential housemates and see potential houses, too.**
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and over in Newcastle for a new job. I'm a pilot from Perth and am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. Just a heads up, there will be days where I will be up getting ready (as quietly as possible) for those early flights at about 4am or back about 10pm. I've been in Newy for about 2 months now and looking for something a bit more permanent. The ideal location would also have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within walking distance but I am pretty easy. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room with a bed and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
I'm looking to move to Newcastle ASAP with a room mate of mine. Both of us are studying in town and live over 1 hour north of Newcastle so travelling is a big issue for us at the moment. We are two easy going guys, and very flexible with property preferences. Willing to pay up to $200 each per week. We love sport, the beach and kicking back for a few beers. Feel free to message or call me if you think we would suit your place!
I am friendly, with a bubbly personality. I like to clean and cook. I enjoy interesting conversation and reading. I am a practicing artist and actively modelling but am down to earth (not a snobby diva). I like positive interaction and my own space at times. I am a broad minded and accepting person. I am honest, reliable and open. I am also respectful of other people's space and privacy. I am environmentally aware, i like to recycle and compost whn possible. I am very down to earth but do like to have some fun times with lovely people :)
I've just moved here from Melbourne after studying and working in the creative arts fields! I really like doing my own thing but am social, too. Also very good at paying bills / being clean.
