Looking at moving to Townsville from Brisbane. I have a 3 yr old Fox terrier called Koda who is friendly and playful. I will be looking for work as soon as I move up there but I have enough savings to pay rent in the mean time without money stresses. I play field hockey and am part of the Scouting movement so there might be weeks where I'm home heaps or barely there. I clean up after myself and don't like a super messy house. I'm open minded and out going. :)
I'm a pretty easy going person, will be mostly working at the hospital. I'm into fishing, 4WDing, dirt bikes and love a good cocktail/wine night. Ideally wants to live with working professionals not students. After own bathroom if possible. Swimming pool would be great.
I’m easy to get along with. Love animals. Clean and tidy person. I like to keep to myself but I also enjoy going out and having fun. I am not currently studying as I’ve taken a gap year and am going to commence my studies in 2018 for nursing and midwifery.
Hello! I'm currently in Canberra, but have just accepted a position in Townsville. I will be arriving there very soon and need to find somewhere to stay pretty quick. My family will be staying in Canberra until the current school year finishes, so I'm looking for somewhere until early/mid January 2018. I'm a 45yo non-smoker and pretty quiet. I'm not likely to get under your feet and certainly won't be hosting rollicking parties! I have an interest in American Football and have already been chatting to the local Townsville team to get back out on the paddock. Will be looking to get out and get myself fitter to help with this too!
I live and work here in Townsville, working out at the RSPCA as an animal attendant. I just got back from working as a zookeeper in Sweden for a few months, though, and that's why I'm looking for somewhere to live. I still got my job here in Townsville to go back to, but no where to stay. I'm originaly from Sweden but liked it so much here in Australia that I got stuck here 4 years ago. I'm a nice and quiet person. I've lived in share houses before and are a very considerate and respectful person. I don't smoke and keep clean. I work a lot and like to keep myself busy after work with sports and nature. When I'm not out and about I most of the time just chill with some movie or some game. I tend to keep to myself but are no stranger to hang out with my housemates either. I rather be out bush and sleep in a tent on a Saturday night than going out partying. I train martial arts and love climbing and diving. So I'm a rather active person that loves nature. I do also like just sitting down and enjoy a movie from time to time as well or going out for dinner with friends.
I get along with pretty much everyone and I am considerate to others when it comes noise and drinking, etc. I like to keep things tidy and always clean up after myself when cooking and doing other various household stuff. I can do outside work (i.e. mowing) as I grew up on a farm and I always pitch in with housework. I'm a full-time uni student and I have a casual job at the Cowboys stadium. I have a small dog (Foxie/Jack Russel mix) named Trevor who I wish to bring with me otherwise I will have to dump him on my parents again. He is a lovely dog - doesn't bite, gets along well with everyone and other animals. I am also a non-smoker (but have no issues with people who do smoke) and I have my own transportation.
I will be moving to Townsville for 3 months on a secondment at the hospital, starting mid November 2017 until the end of February 2018. I'm currently living and working in Mount Isa, and am a young health professional. I have lived in a number sharehouses and am originally from Brisbane. I will be working full-time at the Townsville Hospital and am easy going, clean and friendly.
I'm currently in my 3rd year of Veterinary Science at JCU, I consider myself easy-going and sociable. I do enjoy my own space for study and don't consider myself the biggest party-goer as uni is pretty full-on during the semester, but I certainly enjoy a drink or two after exams! In my spare time, I like exercising, socialising, and binge-watching tv.
Hey, I'm moving to Townsville to study an MSc in Aquaculture at JCU sometime in January/February. Originally from the UK, I love to travel, be outdoors, go diving and anything to do with the ocean. I'm easy going, laid back, clean and happy to live with pets.
Hello! I'm Jordan and in the background is my little sidekick Tobi. We are very easy going, clean and tidy. I work Monday to Friday and generally like to get out camping/traveling as much as I can on weekends with my dog. Looking for someone who has a dog preferably so Tobi has a friend during the day. Would love to live close to Pallarenda/Northward so Tobi can get his daily beach routine in order.
Hey guys :) I have recently moved from Sydney to Townsville to study full-time at JCU, and am looking to move into a share house shortly to meet new people. I am very clean and quiet, and keep quite busy most days thanks to uni/work/gym. I do like to socialise though and occasionally go out on weekends, enjoy a bevvy or two but am not a crazy party animal and respect everyone's privacy (mostly go to bed early like a nanna) I also happen to have two friendly doggos who are moving with me, they are both purely outside dogs and love pats/treats/cuddles etc (also are excellent guard dogs.. not aggressive at all but will bark if is someone at the fence) I know it's a big ask to move into an existing house with dogs but they are very well behaved and would be solely looked after by myself.
Pay ALL my bills on time, quiet, clean & non-smoker, social drinker. Hi As you can see my name is Glenn, 56, born in Ingham & grown up on & off in Townsville. Looking for a large furnished/unfurnished room in the above areas. If furnished, I have linen for a Queen size bed so am looking for the same to suit. Unfurnished, I'll buy my own QS bed. I also have my own fridge/freezer which I would like to use & a large flat-screen TV which I will use in my room. I will gladly negotiate extra electricity payments if needed so no-one is out of pocket for my uses. I stick to myself mostly, social drinker, no drugs or cigarettes, wild parties etc. Lol! Bit past that now :) I have pretty bad arthritis of the spine & so do not work full-time but I do repair computers that keeps my head above water :) I have no problems paying my bills and the only reason I am leaving my current addy, which I have been here for over two years, is the landlord & his partner are having a second child & needs the room. I do have a work bench for the computers, on wheels & some tools and a few computers etc., so I will need somewhere to keep/work on those & I have a 4WD land-cruiser Wagon. About the only social event I do is play competition pool, so somewhere with a pool table would be ideal, but I don't really expect something like that :) Any other questions, please feel free to ask. I am looking for a permanent place to live, getting too old to be moving about. I will be applying for a Housing Commission Unit, but they can take a while to come through, so I don't want to be holding my breath :) Cheers Glenn
Hi! Currently living in Douglas and looking to move closer to the beach and city. I'm finishing my degree in environmental sciences and geography in December and will be working part time and searching for another job. I do have a 18 month old pup called Chloe who is ridiculously cute and friendly. I own a bit of furniture (fridge, couches, tv, freezer, bar fridge) so happy to start up a new house if anyone is interested.
I am a decent cook, good exercise buddy and know the importance of ones own space. I pride myself on my organisation and cleanliness. Am not afraid to have good conversations, and am also good at interacting with people of all ages. I am very independent and want a quite place with good company. I am a student so will be out all week days and studying heaps. Weekends also consist of work to get by and more study, but when around the house would love company. Wouldn't like to live in a house with people I never see or talk to at all...
I work in South Townsville in a tech support role - about 37 hours a week. I enjoy my job especially when I get paid and I have worked there since Jan this year. I have been renting a room from family in Douglas for about a year but unfortunately they are moving out to travel interstate. I am looking for a place nearby to my work. I'm social and enjoy going out for drinks and catching up with mates. I have a car so will need somewhere I can put it.
Hey there, my name is Paulina. I'm currently looking for new place to live as my housemate is moving out in December. I'm a registered nurse at Townsville Hospital, clean and tidy, quite sociable and bubbly - I'm really easy to get along with I don't smoke, I exercise a fair bit, love netflix and am a sucker for Mexican food and coffee. I love animals, don't have any of my own, but if you do its all good.
My name is Natalie, I'm 29 years old and have just moved back to townsville to take a job at my old work the Australian Institute of Marine science. I previously lived here for 3 years but have been away travelling the world for the last 9 Months. I'm down to earth, like to keep fit and cook. I'm very sociable and love a chat but also very happy just doing my own thing.
