We are two girls from Finland looking for a furnished place to stay for couple of months. We have working holiday visas and we're gonna try to find jobs in Melbourne. We both are polite and thoughful roommates, we clean up after ourselves and take good care of the house.
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
Hey I'm suzie, I'm 27 and looking to share a place with some easy going and down to earth people. Ive been a disability support worker for 5 years now, with a background also in personal training. I love a good chat, but also enjoy my own company. Currently live in Malvern.
I've been renting for about a year now, and my time at my current home is coming to a close. Looking to broaden my horizons. I am a casual stocktaker with a reliable income, and I work at various times on different days. I don't drive or own a car so I would prefer to be close to a station. I clean up after myself, am careful in my usage of home utilities and respect others' privacy and personal space, so I hope to expect the same from those I share with. I'm pretty quiet but happy for some banter, and I'm not opposed to house events and the like. :) In my free time, I tend to keep to myself and I'm a bit of an introvert. I like to play games, read, watch movies and learn things to cook. I don't often drink or go out, but I don't care if anyone else does. I sometimes have my boyfriend over for the night (21y.o), and other nights I stay at his (we work together). He is quiet and respectful, and I hope my housemates will be comfortable with him hanging around sometimes.
About me! I work full time in the not for profit sector, am reliable and friendly. I have a puppy named Frenzal and an old kitty named Muggles who sleeps most of the time. I'm pretty quiet during the week and on the weekends I will usually be out and about at a gig, brunch, markets, catching up with my family/friends, or somewhere dog friendly. Hoping to find a reliable house mate that likes a chat but appreciates privacy too. Would love to do a team up but happy to join an existing space too. I'm not keen on the CBD or apartments. I am keen on a backyard and an unfurnished room!
I'm currently studying nursing and work part time most mornings and afternoons. I'm looking for a tidy and clean place . I'm pretty easygoing and enjoy the occasional chat but also understand personal space .
Clean/tidy female, young 40's, administrator temp/musician, garden guru, sociable/loves a laugh, yet mostly quiet, considerate & respectful of others, seeking good sized room in sharehouse or similar. I don't have children, instead two fur babies - a 14 y/old, blind, teeny, tiny Italian Greyhound, Angus, who lives under a doonah 90% of the time, and Buddah is a beautiful big old cat who enjoys the garden. Both very affectionate, quiet, well-mannered house guests.
Hello, My name is Clinton and I am a male Culinary student from Hong Kong. I am a outgoing, polite and friendly person, always happy to make new friends. I would like to rent a room before my arriving to Melbourne on 5th January, 2017. I will be studying at Holmesglen Institute - Moorabbin, so i prefer some place near the campus, much better if the place is near train station. Since I am a culinary student, therefore i would love to stay in a place with a good kitchen, i am more than happy to make meals to the housemates as well!! Sorry for my poor English and thank you everyone for reading this post
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
Hi! I have just moved back to Melbourne from 2 years in Townsville. I work full time as a property manager. I’m laid back, clean, respectful. I love my own space but love a chat and am always out and about on weekends. I am fairly active and quite social. Having lived on the beach for two years in Townsville I am really wanting to move somewhere close to it here. No pets and am a social smoker only.
I work 30 hours a week in a pharmacy. I have a passion for makeup. I'm often found out on weekends and catching up with friends when I'm not working. I consider myself a fairly outgoing person. I would love to live with someone who is easy to get along with and have a laugh. I also appreciate alone time.
I am a Student in Monash Uni, Masters in Business Information Systems. Quite chill on all aspects of life. To each their own. Like to travel, explore, party occasionally, 420 is da bomb. Also quite involved in technology, working on a start-up right now. Looking for a nice and easy going atmosphere.
I have currently just left school and am enrolled in a diploma for next feb and currently living with my sister , i need a fresh start and looking for some like minded people to hang out with or even just live with. I am easy to get along with and good at resolving issues quick , i am smart for a blonde and i am a shopaholic and love going out for food and seeing new places around Melbourne. I am a clean person , but everyone thinks they are . I like to contribute to teams and talking things out so i am sure to never not fix a problem .
Hi all, I'm Mitchell, a 26 year old Physiotherapist and have been living in Melbourne since March (originally from Sydney). I think we can all agree that Melbourne is the better city of the two! I work in Mornington Peninsula and live within the area, but am looking for something in the lower half of Bayside. I'll be working full time throughout the weekdays. I'm fairly active - most weeknights I'll be training in martial arts (judo) or strength & conditioning. I enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. In my free time, I like to catch up with friends over food and drinks (massive foodie) and exploring more of Melbourne's goodness. Otherwise, I enjoy just being at home too. I don't party. I'm social, easy-going and respectful. I've stayed in 2 sharehouses, so I know how to be considerate of the house and everyone in it. I enjoy cooking, and am happy to share meals and conversation too. I'm an ambivert, or a well balanced introvert; I enjoy the company of others, but I also crave quiet time to myself at times. I hope to find a housemate/housemates who are like-minded.
I am a very easy going, fun person who loves to have a laugh :) Am very tidy and can be both friendly around the house and engage in conversation or respect individual privacy and let you do your own thing :) I love sports and don't mind going out on the weekend occasionally too
Hi all! I have just arrived in Victoria for the first time after travelling overseas, originally from WA, fun, friendly, clean and respectful and keen as to see what Melbourne is all about. Thanks :)
Hi, I am a really easy going friendly Aussie who works fulltime. I am quiet at home, clean and respectable. I am an electrician by trade and have moved here from QLD. Also a non smoker nor a party animal. I would love to be your new housemate! I don't mind if you have somewhere from 4 weeks to a year just let me know what you have available.
Super easy going, love the outdoors, a laugh and a drink with mates. I work full time in air-conditioning and am handy around the house. I'm preferably looking for a place with off street parking as I have a boat & car (car doesn't need a park). I enjoy cooking and live an active lifestyle.
Hi! I recently moved to Melbourne (from Germany) and started my PhD here which should take me around two to three years. I'm looking for a place that is either in walking distance to Monash's Clayton campus or in a more lively area with good public transport, preferably close to the beach. I'm practically working full-time, sometimes very late, but I do like to go out for dinner and drinks. I'm very much into music and movies but I'm very used to wearing headphones. Besides that, I have a talent for fixing things with mostly great success. Cheers, Hagen
Easy going and friendly girl relocating to Melbourne. I'm very clean, tidy and respectful. I teach dance and study history. I love travelling, I'm always up for a day out exploring and socialising, but also enjoy relaxing at home drinking tea and either reading or watching movies/tv shows. I am looking for a 6month stay but am willing to extend it depending on the circumstances.
Hi there , I'm Sian and I'm 23 years old. I'm laid back , respectful and a tidy person to live with. I enjoy my own space but don't mind a good chat from time to time. Most weekends I'm out and about. Feel free to send me a message if your interested :)
We are a professional and quiet couple looking for a quiet place to live in. Even though we are friendly and sociable, we will spend the most part of our time working, and that's why we are looking for a place where we can rest and chill during our free time.
I'm a science student who currently lives in Warragul and is looking for a place closer to uni. I am a really considerate person and I keep my belongings organised and clean. I'm fairly quiet, bubbly and comfortable to be around. When I'm not at uni (or working) I like to read novels/comics, watch movies, chill out and have some chats. I have put 6 months but am flexible, same with the moving date - it's just an estimation.
Hello, I'm female, early 30's.... looking for a room URGENTLY!!!!! I'm a qualified Vet. I have savings. Rent will always be paid in advance, on time. I do have a large but very friendly dog. He is an older dog, sleeps all day and is basically a big lump however he will bark like absolute hell if someone knocks on the door or if there's intruders around. He sleeps beside my bed at night (in his own bed). He's toilet-trained and never had any accident in the house. Really the only flaw with him is that he will EAT continuously if given the opportunity! I clean up after myself and my dog. I've shared with people in the past and I'm definitely a very considerate person to live with. I'm a non-smoker and don't drink very often. I don't know anyone in Melbourne so I'm certainly no party-animal! Also, I should mention that my dog is very good with other medium-large dogs but due to his size, he may injure a small dog. He has been raised with cats and is fine with them once slowly introduced. If any or all of this is of interest to you, please let me know :) (Long term preferred but willing to accept short term also) Preferred suburbs - Clayton, Oakleigh, Noble Park or anywhere near the beach as long as you're within 1km walking distance to a train station. Move in date - NOW!!!!! Regards, Kris
Hey, Im Amanda. 30 and a full time student at Deakin studying Psych. I'm either looking for someone to move in and share my unit or looking to team up with someone. I have everything a house needs so can contribute furniture, washer and fridge. I have a Staffy called Nala who is desexed and lovable so a dog lover (or at least dog liker) is a must. Im pretty easy going, I enjoy a glass of wine and a good chat. I love cooking and so will often offer dinner and would be a bonus to be able to find someone who reciprocated it occasionally :) I like going out for dinner, walks with Nala, weekends away and spending time with friends. I would like to find someone who is looking for somewhere to live for at least a year and happy to socialise and have a chat and also have own time. :) Feel free to ask any questions and also check out my room for rent add. Thanks, Amanda
Hey! I've just moved back to Melbourne after a three month trip back home to Cairns and am looking for a new place to call home. I am fun, easy-going and loving having a laugh and sharing good times with my housemates but am also respectful of peoples space and privacy. i sometimes like to go out for a drink on weekends but also enjoy weekend adventures or even a nice bottle of wine in front of a movie. I am currently working in hospitality but am in the process of looking for a full-time 9-5 job. If you think i'm a suitable flatmate for your home please message me and we can organise to meet. :)

Hello! I am a 21 years old swedish guy who are looking for an apartment or room or house, anything actually. I work around 40 hours a week. In my free time i love to play sports or just relax infront of a movie. I am clean and i can cook, What else do you need? ;)
Why am I great to live with? I mean aside from the obvious rugged good looks I have massive anxiety about having bad body odour so I always smell good. But wait, theres more. My mum is always one phone call away to help us remember how to make a mean chicken parmigiana. I know what you're thinking, how can it get any better than this? Well my taste in music is an absolute 10/10. On the off chance that we don't get along, don't be worried because my university schedule is so busy that between work and uni it'll probably be like Im not even living there. What am I looking for? Im moving to Melbourne to start Uni in February. I have a couple of friends down there but they all live with their parents. I get along well with everyone so I'm really just looking for people who agree that getting the softest toilet paper is worth the extra $5. Ive been living on my own since I was 16 and the one thing I have not had of my own is an oven. So thats definitely on the checklist. WHy does the profile pictures zoom so much I'm sorry
Hello there! I am currently studying in high school as a student :) I am a very friendly and upbeat person!! I know how to have fun but I also respect when people need their quiet time. i'm a very understanding and adaptable person. I can keep to myself when needed and know my boundaries, but I still know how to have a good time :)
Hi I'm Griffin, i'm a first year apprentice and from the local area. In my spare time I enjoy watching films, going to the gym, experimental cooking and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for a nice room for me and my cat Odin in the local area.
I'm a 25 year old woman who works full time in Box hill. I leave early and come home latish. I work five days a week. I always buy my rent on time and am super clean. I have a bubbly, friendly personality and get along with almost anyone. I don't have any pets and smoke outside (am currently trying to quit). I don't drive currently so don't need a car place but would love to be near public transport. The down side to me is I have recently moved out of my own place and would like to avoid hiring a storage unit so some place with a shed or garage for storage would be awesome. My family live mainly around Endeavour Hills and am very family orientated. For fun I go out with my friends for dinner, movies, a game of pool or a few drinks. Besides that just ask me any questions you need as I'm happy to answer them.
I'm a happy go lucky kind of guy. I like it simple. Love the beach. I'm easy going. Like to be social but like time to me also. I work full time. Love to have a chat and a drink enjoy sport. I work full time and do big hrs also work away a bit too

Hi, my name is Britt. I'm a 24 year old female from New Zealand. I've been living in Melbourne since May and have recently accepted a full time job in Sandringham working at a vet clinic so am now looking to move into the area. I'm looking for a fun and tidy place to live with flatmates of a similar age. I'm a chilled out sort of person who enjoys socialising, fitness, and watching a good movie in my downtime.
Hi, I'm currently in the process of relocating to Melbourne from Perth. I love anything to do with creative arts, so am excited about checking out the place. Currently writing 2 screenplays, just an aspiring writer at the moment, will hopefully get the chance to finish them eventually. Love to go out to relax at the beach or to check out new bars, cafes and restaurants but love spending time at home too. I've been working as an Emergency Department Clerk for 9 years, hoping to get the same line of work when I get there. Really just looking for like minded quiet flatmates, love socialising but also love doing my own thing.
Hey, I'm Tess a 25 yr old female studying to be a primary school teacher. Alongside my study I have two jobs, one at a primary school and one in retail, so I am a fairly busy person! I am positive, clean and love a good laugh. I'm equally happy having a chill night on the couch or going out for dinner/drinks, and I like to exercise in my spare time. I have grown up in Melbourne but have lived overseas for a year and love to travel whenever i can afford it. I am looking for likeminded people who love to enjoy life. I've currently been renting in Cheltenham, but am happy to live anywhere from the city out to the south eastern suburbs.
Hey I'm Tayla, Looking to move into a place with like minded females who share common interests! Currently studying Naturopathy at Endeavour College, and also work casually at both BMW and Soul Press. A bit about me, I love the beach, travelling, keeping active and eating well. I'm adventurous, down to earth, trustworthy, sociable, and will respect your privacy at upmost. Feel free to send me a message if you're interested! X
Im a 24 year old chick looking for a room in Melbourne. I have been travelling since finishing high school, spent a lot of time in Canada and just got back from NZ. I am looking for work but am very employable and have savings to last a while just in case. Im from Mansfield so love snow sports and getting outdoors, camping, beaching etc. look forward to living with you!
Happy to move out sooner than Jan 1st. Im just in no hurry if i dont find something i like. Looking to find a new home and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Ideally looking to rent with a few people, dont mind a crowded house :) Happy to live with guys or girls, would prefer people in their 20s though. Im friendly and social, though i know people need their space from time to time. Working as a tradie now but used to be in a corporate role so used to all kinds of people, get along with everyone. Earn a good wage in a stable job. No issues paying rent/bills on time. Dont smoke or do drugs. Good sense of humor. Hmmm. Not sure what else to write, hobbies? i spend a lot of time at the gym in a futile attempt to bulk up a bit. Snowboarding in winter, camping in summer. Need any more info just ask :)
