Graduated from Uni a bit over a year ago and proceeded to explore the world. But alas, it's time to start my professional career. I'm coming from Perth to start full-time work in Sydney. My favourite things are traveling, Ultimate Frisbee, and casual snacking. I'm a pretty social guy, I love making friends from around the world. I'm new to the city and hoping to meet some fun people. I'll be working during the week but like to go out on weekends. Always up for a drink and/or a chat, or a cheeky Frisbee toss, if you don't have one I've got you covered, I've got three ;) I'm not OCD or anything but I like to keep things neat and clean :) Some other GOOD things about me: Impeccable hygiene: Daily showers; range of deodorants/colognes Adaptable to preferences of leaving toilet seat up or down Good at making nicknames Some NOT SO GOOD things about me: Cooking experience currently limited to cheese toasties Occasionally sing in the shower (but I do take requests) If you think I'd be a good addition to your flat, of if you'd like to teamup and start a new flatshare I'd love to hear from you :)
Hi! I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 on a working holiday visa in Sydney, currently working full time & staying with a friend until the end of July so wanting my own room from then! I’m 25, a non-smoker, friendly & social but also like my own space, fuss-free. Not really a party animal but occasionally like to enjoy a glass of wine at home with my (few) friends in Sydney. Having pet dogs is a HUGE bonus! 😁 love sport and am wanting to get back to my training routine once I’m settled!
My name's Billy, this is actually for my girlfriend Alex who's moving over in August and looking to line up somewhere great, near the beach with sociable housemates. Alex will be working fulltime in the CBD and is fucking amazing. 25 years old, very outgoing and approachable. Really in to staying fit - we'll be spending as much of our free time exploring Sydney and Australia. It would be great to join a house where she can relax with everyone after work in the lounge and binge Netflix or head to the beach with when the sun comes back out. If the place looks good on here, I'd be able to come view it and then set up a Facetime with Alex if she's not in the country (lands Aug 14th). Let me know if you're keen! PS she has an unhealthy obsession of sausage dogs and a fear of llamas (don't ask...)
We are an active couple (both Personal Trainers by trade) so we are out and about a fair bit but do love our down time aka: Netflix and wine/chocolate - balance right!? We are after a short term share house whilst we settle in after moving back to Sydney from a 2 year stint in London (well I (Jess) am - I brought Joe back with me!). We also love dogs so would be totally keen to share with a furry friend! Love a laugh, we are tidy, clean and we love food prepping so always keen to cook up a storm for everyone!
Hello. I'm Utsav from India. I'm an international student at UTS and am looking for a place to move-in from 17th July. I'm an easygoing person, like to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and I expect the same to be maintained by my fellow flatmates as well.
Hello potential roomies, I'm Vera and I currently live in Switzerland with my family. I’m looking for a room in Sydney for three months (starting 9 September) because I will be attending a graphic design course. The things I love most are the outdoors, skiing and snowboarding, yoga, cooking and meeting new & interesting people. In Australia I will try to spend lots of time at the ocean (learning to surf)! I also love travelling and exploring new places. I would love to live very close/walking distance to the beach, because as I mentioned I’m learning to surf and I just love the ocean. I’m vegetarian but I don’t have a problem at all with meat eaters. If you are vegetarian as well or vegan that’s a plus as we could cook meals together! :) Background or gender really doesn’t matter to me! It would be nice if we had some similar interests, but the most important thing is that you are a kind person and we get along :) If you think I would be a good fit for your home please message me! Vera
I am very independent, clean and quiet. I’ve lived with several roommates in the past. I grew up in Colorado and have spent the last 9 years working and living in New York City and previous 3 years in Los Angeles. I love to travel and learn about different cultures carrying a very open mind at all times :) **I am still in Colorado saving up money to move to Sydney area hopefully within 6 months. My brother and his family have lived in Sydney since 2005. I will be working full time. I’m just starting to look and get familiar with what’s available**
British girl been working in Hong Kong for 5 years and being relocated to Sydney with work indefinitely. I am tidy, very chilled and pretty active, having said that a glass of wine always goes down quite nicely. I can be someone you just share a flat with or also someone that enjoys cooking or a takeout in front of the TV, very happy either way.
Hi there! My name is Bailey and I’m looking for somewhere to move into for the long term. I am only 20 but I am very mature and independent. I’m a professional and working the usual 9-5 full-time as a paralegal in a small family law firm in Bondi Junction. I'm also studying law part-time at the University of Sydney a couple of nights per week so I am always pretty busy during the week. I’ve grown up minutes from the beach so I would love to stay close to the beach as I really love it. I also enjoy reading, walking, live music, markets and socialising and getting outdoors as much as possible. I do enjoy the occasional social drink with friends but would never bring the party home. I'm a friendly person but I am very conscious to give people space. I’ve been living in share accommodation for the last couple of years so I know all the ins and outs of cleaning up after myself and respecting others and their privacy. I can also provide a reference from my current landlord if that is something you would like.
We're a young and friendly British couple on our 1st year WHV. We both have full time jobs, were fit and active and love cooking and eating great food. We're both very tidy and well housetrained.
We are a relaxed couple from NZ in our mid-late twenties. We moved to Sydney at the start of 2018 after Kim accepting a rugby contract. We are currently living in a studio apartment, as we are now settled we are looking for more permanent accommodation. Both of us work full time and on sundays we enjoy exploring. We love food, coffee and enjoying what Sydney has to offer. We are a clean, respectful, happy, positive couple looking for a friendly, tidy flat. **Currently pretty flexible with location
Hey! Our names are Sebastian and Björn. Two students originally from Norway and Finland who are studying in our postgraduate degree at the University of Sydney, and are therefore looking for accommodation in Sydney. We will be very good flatmates to have as we are good and easy going people who are tidy and can be counted on. We have a positive attitude in general and are looking forward to moving in together. We are currently both living temporarily centrally in Sydney, and can be reached and are able to meet on short notice. So please feel free to contact us if this sound interesting! And ask us any question that you might have! Best regards, Sebastian and Björn
I am an English girl. 23, travelling Australia. I have just finished farm work and I’m a temp apartment until the 19th August. After that I will be looking to move somewhere new for my last 3 months in Sydney. I am easy going and tidy but looking for somewhere with my own space too (private room). I am looking to rent a room located around central areas (Surry hills, Paddington, Newtown, etc etc)
I am a kind and positive person working in the city needing somewhere to live. I am from the south coast of NSW and my commute to Sydney is around 2 hours each way - hence why I am looking for somewhere to live. I love the outdoors and being active with others. I also really enjoy yoga, meditation and spending time at the beach. I am a very clean and courteous person and will always do my best to keep the house in great condition. I am respectful of others’ space and I know my boundaries. I also love to cook and get creative in the kitchen!
I have a great personality, very friendly and easy going. Work full time, like to get out into nature or exploring on the weekends. Often off on random adventures. Just moving back to Sydney after some time in Melbourne although i'm originally from Perth. Do need somewhere to park my car. Bay/secure would be ideal but street would be fine if i can get a permit. (i know it's an ask)
I'm Alex - just about to move over to Sydney from the UK where I will be continuing my work as a Recruiter. I'm 26, very easygoing, tidy and respectful (I'm sure everyone says the same) and I love being outside, going out and socialising, pretending to get massive in the gym and other normal things. I am moving over for at least 2 years so I would love to find some flat mates to hang out with and somewhere I can call home for a while. Moving over August 13th so would love to move in any time after then! I also make great guacamole.
Hello! I’m Kat, my chihuahua Emilio and I are looking to move closer to the city. I am an easy going person, I work full time (day hours) I’m very relaxed enjoy going for walks with Emilio so I would love to be close to parks. Enjoying binge watching Netflix and Stan. Try to get out and about on the weekends and catch up with friends and family if I stay in it all snacks and drinks in front of the tv or listening to music. Emilio is outside when I’m not at home but he comes indoors when I am home and sleeps inside with this I’m all about keeping the place very clean!! I like to do some traveling so I would like to find someone who won’t mind dog sitting as well.
Hi, I did a PhD in Materials Science for photovoltaic applications in Switzerland and will move to Sydney on July 25th to start working at UNSW as a postdoc. So I’m looking for a place to stay. Ideally it would be a shared flat not too far from the campus but neither from the beach ; ), with a private, fully furnished room as I won‘t be bringing furniture. Actually even though I did most of my studies in Switzerland, I'm originally from Germany and am also half French. I've lived in shared flats before, am a easy going person, like it tidy and rather calm but would also enjoy to share a glass of wine or a beer, a meal or an adventure with my flatmates. I'm a very active person, enjoy all sorts of sports (biking, hiking, kite and windsurfing... am interested in surfing!) and teach yoga/pilates and gym classes in my free time. Besides I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, cooking and meeting new people. Here in Switzerland I'm a moderator for language evenings at the local pub, for people who want to learn German or English. If you think I could be a good fit for your flat I'd be happy to get in touch!
I'm a young tech professional working full-time in North Sydney. I prefer a modern place within 30 mins transit from North Sydney station. :) Love a good walk or picnic or beach hang - anything to deepen my tan! Cheeky wine and cheese nights are definitely a thing, and so are hilarious nights out. I'm hoping to make new friends around my age (25-35) who share a similar lifestyle. I'm very clean and organised and am generally quiet but can definitely turn it up if the occasion calls for it! The above scenarios are just some examples of said occasions ;) Can't wait to look at some new places and meet new faces!
I'm Stef, I work 9 - 5 Monday to Friday. You will find me spending my weekends outdoors. I love spending time by the beach, going for walks and lunches. I like to relax when home from work, and am happy to have a chat or wine with my room mate, as well as have some fun with them on the weekend if free.
Heeey! I'm Nikolaj from Denmark. I am a student at Copenhagen Business School, and now on exchange at UTS for one semester, wanting to travel east coast/NZ/asia after, and rest of aus and islands during the stay. I am an open and outgoing person, who has a big interest in people, nature, sports etc. I further take great pleasure from the creative industries. I have lived with roomates for a couple of years now, both single and shared bedrooms. I am a tidy person to live with, and I enjoy doing things together as well as respecting privacy when needed. I am very flexible and enjoy many things. Dont be afraid to message me :) Looking for a single room, rather close to the beach so I can go surfing on the reg ;)
I am a very enthusiastic and spontaneous exchange student from the Netherlands! Very open to meet new people and enjoy having a drink, or just hanging on the couch to watch a movie. I love swimming, photography, exploring, and spontaneous plans! :)
