Hi there! I’m looking to find an apartment in the eastern suburbs, ideally near the beach (but not an absolute must). I work full-time in the media industry so I like to take it easy most weeknights. I’m a friendly, easy going and respectful person. I’m hoping to live in a share house with like-minded social people who I can be friends with. I’d ideally like to find a place with a large room and own bathroom, a car space would be sweet too! Also open to team ups with a small group of girls.
Hi my name is Sarah and I am a medical student/ part time worker thats looking for a place around the Eastern Suburbs or closer to Sydney University. I have lived in shared accommodation for 2 years prior to 2017, and over the last 12 months I have been a live-in nanny for a family that I worked for. Despite how much I loved living with them, my work and uni hours make it difficult to continue working for their family. I will be continuing to live with them until I find a new perfect home, so the move in day is flexible :) About me! To be honest, I study and work lots!. I spend long days at uni or work and at home I really want somewhere to relax and be stress free for a bit. I am a runner and enjoy sport as well, so you'll find me leaving most mornings at 5am to do some form of exercise. I love cooking and baking as well, and in my previous places, its always been a win! I eat way too much smashed avo, so I'll never afford a house mortgage and love catching up with friends for lunch, a walk at the beach or over coffee :) I am not a huge partier and do not smoke. I'd rather live in a non-smoker place. I am also a vegetarian, but its not a huge deal if you aren't! (I just know that some people keyword that in their searches :)) What I am looking for- from my previous experience in share houses.... * I am looking for a person/people to live with that are clean, tidy and organised * As I said, I'm not a huge party person so I'm not really looking for people who plan on having groups of people over for drinks often at the last minute * female only and around my age *probably only a 2-3 bedroom place * Something kinda long term (at least a year) I have great relationships with my previous housemates and I hope that that can be the case with you as well! If you have a spare room or are looking for someone to meet and possibly find a place together with- please contact me! I'd love to meet up! Sarah :)
Edit: Because my work hours are typically 8am - 7pm my priorities have changed from close to beach with close to city as a bonus, to close to city with close to beach as a bonus. Moving down to Sydney from Brisbane to take up a graduate full-time position in Sydney's CBD. I'm keen to finally get down to the Harbour City and get settled in to my new life. All of my friends are in Brisbane so there's little worry about me having 'hectic parties' or anything like that. It does mean however that I am looking for people that I can get along with who aren't overly closed-off. That said, I'm sure there'll be days where I get home from work or my flatmates get home and just want to decompress in peace. I have no pets and am a non-smoker. One caveat though is I need a place that has some form of accessible, consistent car-parking spaces. Obviously a drive-way/garage is preferable to on-street parking but as long as I don't have to pay for on-street parking then I won't have a problem. I love the beach and am particularly keen to live in a place where the CBD is 20 minutes away from home and so is the beach (<20 minutes would be even better). A friend of mine is moving down to Sydney in early April so I am looking for a short-term lease. $350 is about as much as I reckon I'd be willing to spend on weekly rent, although ideally the rent would be closer to the $300 mark.
Hello, I am looking to team up with another female to rent a house in the innerwest. I am friendly, social ( but also enjoy chill time too ) and work in the creative industry. Message me if you think we could be housemates or would like some more information.
Hi my name is Olivia. Im 26 and originally from Tassie! I’m a full time Quality Assurance Worker in a large seafood company. I’m outgoing , however do enjoy time to myself. In my spare time I like to read books, drink a good glass of wine and learn Japanese . I’m a clean and organised person. I have experience in a share house previously
Hey guys I'm 26 from Ireland and looking for a private room in a house/apartment for at least 6 months, preferably around the Surry Hills/ Darlinghurst/ Haymarket /Randwick areas. I try to be active during the week and enjoy a sociable few at the weekend :) Im a business consultant so work standard Mon-Fri, 9-5 working hours. Clean, friendly and all the traits of a good housemate :D
I currently work for a prominent arts venue in Brisbane so I spend a lot of my time watching theatre, film, live music, movies, comedy etc. I am moving to Sydney to work in a similar industry. I am a pretty typical inner city person– I like yoga, a cheeky wine and socialising. I am clean, respectful and have a fairly relaxed attitude.
Hey! I'm from France and here for one year for my studies! I've been in Australia for 6 months now and I still love partying, going out for a beer and meeting new people (I like my place to be clean and cosy though). I might be the funny guy of the group and being in Sydney is a chance that we only have once in life, so let's make it great together!
Hi, I'm James, a young full time professional. I'm looking for a share house in the Inner West from April onwards. I'm super easy to live with, generally because I spend my time at work, going for a run, or at brunch with friends. I'm past the age of wanting to party hard, so if you are looking for a quiet, reliable and friendly housemate please make contact with me.
Hi future flatmates! I'm Kelly (27) and I'm originally from New Jersey, USA. I'm currently in Australia on the Work and Holiday Visa and am looking for short-term accommodation in Sydney's Inner West suburbs. I just recently returned to Australia after a month of traveling through New Zealand. I plan on staying in Sydney for at least 3 months. For fun, I love to cook (I always make enough to share!), spend time outdoors, binge-watch Youtube, and go on adventures. I'm quiet, respectful, and tidy. I'm a non-smoker and prefer to live with other non-smokers, or those who smoke outdoors. I like my privacy but I'm always up for sharing a glass of wine or grabbing dinner together with my flatmates!
My name is Ron I moved to Sydney from London in December on a 457 visa and work as a recruitment consultant in the CBD. I’m really looking for a new clean place that would be like a home away from home, with housemates who like to have a drink after work or bbq on the weekends. I love to cook when I have time also and would really like a nice kitchen to be able to cook up a feast!
Hellooo, I have recently moved from Brisbane to Sydney to study at Notre Dame University. I am easy-going and love to socialise, however, I also respect the space of others'. I'm clean, tidy, and will always help out around the house and do my fair share of chores. On my weekends I will either be playing sport, soaking in some rays at the beach, brunchin' with friends, or studying. Thanks :)
I’m 27, just moved back to sydney after two years in London. Am super friendly and laid back and have houseshared for years so am easy to get along with and am super clean. Looking for a lovely house to call home. Am a yoga teacher and journalist and looking for a quiet relaxing house but happy to chill here and there at home with housemates too:)
The usual low down that ends up sounding like a “looking for significant other” post in the classified section of the newspaper...clean, quiet, respectful, generally super laid back, enjoy my personal space but would love to be able to have a legit conversation or chill session with each other. Late night Maccas runs, down! Not a wild child or hermit, similar sorts ideal. Cleanliness is a HUGE factor! Not trying to live in ghetto squalor or a dirty dorm you wouldn’t want to shine a blue light over. Looking for a private room in a share place with max two other people. Otherwise happy to start up somewhere new, I have full furnishings available if needed. No couples or kids, soz not soz! Any of the listed areas or surrounds although open to considering anything within a reasonable distance to the CBD via public transport. Need some form of parking, the mean streets ok. Long term. This housemate hunt is hideous! Just spent two years in Dubai, travelling the world, wanting something more settled.
Im a 22 year old student at USYD, studying media and communications and working in retail. I'm a pretty laid back person but do love socialising. I love the beach, health and fitness and eating out with friends. I'm also always down for a chat!
