Hello! I was relocated to Sydney from NYC on a short-term work assignment to setup a local office - the company I work for creates programs that rate spaces according to their performance as it relates to the wellness of occupants (i.e. air quality, water quality, acoustics, lighting, thermal comfort, access to healthy foods etc.). I have already been in Sydney now for 7 months, and am due back to NYC the end of February, so I am looking for a short-term living arrangement for the remainder of my time here. I work full-time, but as I am in the process of setting up an office, I work from home/local cafés and travel a couple times a month. In my free-time, I love traveling, exploring, trying new restaurants, exercising (yoga, running, swimming, pilates) and socializing! I'm very clean, respectful and laid-back - I like home to be a place for rest and relaxation so I definitely don't bring the party home with me, but I am fully supportive of hosting a gathering here and there. :)
Considerate, peaceful and enjoy my quiet space and yoga. I'm a working professional and looking to share with someone pleasant and respectful.
I'm a 33 year old, clean and friendly male. I enjoy socialising but am not a party person. Would be great to find a place with people who like to share the occasional meal together and maybe play a few games. Looking to move anywhere within half an hour's drive of the Eastern suburbs. P.s. Must have a built in!
Hi, my name is Bridget! I'm a Melbourne girl who's moved up to Sydney for work. Looking for a furnished private room in walking distance to public transport/supermarket. Female-only flatmates preferred. About me: I usually keep fairly busy with work, hobbies and socialising, however I mix it up with quality time at home relaxing – just all depends what’s on the event calendar! In my spare time I like to road trip, dance, hit the beaches and parks, and explore the local markets, cafes, pubs etc. Professional writer/editor by trade - expect to be working standard Mon-Fri business hours. I’m a positive, clean and tidy housemate who is considerate of noise, people’s belongings, and respectful of my housemate’s privacy and quiet time. On the flip side, I am a social person so also really enjoy the company of a housemate and the spontaneous opportunities you get to chat and joke around on a night-in or do a random night out. Being from interstate it would be ideal if my future housemate was comfortable with me having a close family member or friend stay now and then if they're visiting Sydney. Looking forward to meeting you; and my next adventure!
We are a fun Finnish-English couple working full time in central Sydney looking for a house share or a flat to live in until Christmas time. Nice and open minded individuals, love travel and food, would like a social house to enjoy Sydney in.
My friend Faye and I are looking for two rooms in a houseshare as we've just moved to Sydney and starting work on Monday. We will be working centrally, both from London and excited to meet some new people and make new lives in Sydney. Always up for a glass of wine to chat after work and go to the beach/have BBQs on the weekend. :)
Hi everyone! I'm looking for somewhere to live in Bondi Beach from the 6th October onwards! I'm moving back to Bondi permanently for work so will need somewhere to live when I get there ☺️ I'm friendly, easy going, love dogs, love the beach (probably obvious if I'm moving there haha), into fitness but I do like an occasional drink or two, too 😜 If you know of any private rooms available let me know! ☺️💚 If you're worried about not meeting before hand I'm happy to send my number/social medias so you know I'm not insane or a murderer hahaha 😂💚
I'm 22 and from Scotland, I'm a social friendly sorta dude that gets on with just about everyone. I'm a joiner carpenter (need anything fixed? 🤔) Im working full time in Bondi junction just now. I have a lot of respect for people around me. I can quite easily keep to myself but wouldn't mind sharing a meal and a beer now and then with anyone either
Hey! My name is Lisa, I work full time in Television. I am very sociable and outgoing, love a good laugh and meeting new people as well as enjoying some relaxing down time at the end of a busy day. I am easy going and genuinely enjoy connecting with others. Tend to work long hours and keep my home life chilled.
Hi, I am Cherry, in my late 20s. I am a full time professional, working in Redfern. At my spare time, I like to go to the gym (Fitness First - a few times a week) and enjoy a sunny walk. I am over the age of partying, just like to enjoy a glass of wine in a quiet night, and working on my Mac. I also enjoy eating healthy and light. I am clean and respectful of others privacy, but always up for a social drink and a chat. I am asian background, but lived in Brisbane for 15 years, Perth 1 year and Sydney for 2 years now. I am looking for a studio / 1 bedroom apartment or a room with own bathroom in/near (2km) the City (only sharing with 1 person, no couple). I am available to move in at the end of October, preferably furnished. Please sms me if you have a place for rent just like this! look forward to make new friend many thanks, Cherry
Summary: - Working Full-time - Keep to myself usually, but open to socialising - Preferably close to train station - Max. $300 weekly per person. - LGBT+ Friendly - Uni Student friendly Looking to find a place/team where I can feel at home without paying stupid amounts, ideally. Places I have in mind are usually 2+ bedroom places if teaming up, so something like $480 per person each fortnight, maximum. I'm not looking for anything fancy/modern, as long as it is in a relatively safe area, and easy to get to and from Maroubra or Central Station (CBD). This listing will be valid until I take it down so please message if you're interested! I will need to give 4 weeks notice to my current landlord, so that would start from the day I confirm any arrangement. Apologies, if you don't hear back from me in 48 hours I am probably not interested or dead.
Hello! I am from England and have been in Sydney for 3 months, I work in the CBD in medical recruitment. I originally came away as a backpacker but those days are over now (I'm 29 now!!) and I'm looking to build a career in Sydney. I am a sociable person so am not looking for somewhere just to sleep! I would like to live in a social house where everyone gets on but respectful of everyone else they are living with 😊 I am into sport, music and going to the gym but do like a few drinks as well. I'm pretty chilled to live, clean and tidy, respectful of others, etc I would ideally like to move into a place with a nice garden/balcony for summer bbqs and beers! :) Please get in touch if you have any questions! Many Thanks Rich
I'm British, 28. Been living out of a hostel for the last 2 months and feel now is the right time to move in with someone. I can be whatever you want me to be, very social, love sports, I'll drink occasionally, none smoker, quiet sleeper. I can be quiet, keep myself to myself if needed. Anything else let me know, Carl
I'm chill, quiet and relatively open-minded. I like listening to music, but it's usually the unnecessarily dramatic ones. So, won't be noisy :) Also, love pets; knows how to cook (a lil bit); like to watch netflix, sports and a great listener so i've been told. I'm simply looking for a bunch of friendly people to live with. I look forward to hearing from you
I am an 18 year old male and I love life. I am respectful of others and their space. I love exploring things around me and enjoy the occasional night out. I am moving to Sydney in January 2018 to complete a 10 month Diploma in Elite Performance at Brent Street Studios hence my need for accommodation in Sydney. I plan to secure casual employment during my year in Sydney, and have been saving madly for the last year to facilitate my expenses whilst in Sydney. I also have the support of my parents. I currently live in Launceston Tasmania and am excited to be moving to Sydney to start my life in the world of Performing Arts.
Hi me and my partner are coming to backpack to Australia in December , and we are looking for long term accommodation. We plan to apply for work while in Australia. We are down to earth people , looking forward to meeting new friends. We are mess free and do not smoke :) . Our interests are to see the world , we both love to keep fit and meet new people.
* About us: We enjoy drinks and good conversation, but we wouldn't live in a party house or with smokers. We don't have, but we love pets and kids. * About our roomies: Need to respect our space, privacy, and keep the house clean with us. * About the house: Must be near a train station and no more than 20 minutes from Central Station.
We are a very respectful couple and are up for socialising. We enjoy having a few socialable drinks now and again. We are here on a working holiday visa and have just travelled the east coast and now in Sydney and will be working mon-fri. We are both aged 24 and up for a laugh but also like our own space too, ideally looking for an ensuite but happy to share, we love meeting new people and making new memories.
Hi! I am a full time working professional who has been living and working in the Eastern Suburbs for the past 4 years. I love travelling, the beach, after work coastal walks, music, coffee and spending time with friends and family. I would say I am a happy, kind, thoughtful and fun person. I work pretty hard during the week so the week nights are usually quiet. I'm past the party animal days so I am not looking for a party house - although, I do love having nights out with a few drinks and dancing. My apartment is always kept clean and tidy. I have been living with the same roomie for the past 4 years but she is soon moving in with her boyfriend so it's going to be a new start for us all. I am looking to either move into another person's apartment, or I am thinking of getting a lease from the real estate. I would ideally get a 2 bedroom apartment (looking at around $700 a week for 2 rooms i.e $350 each a week). I am happy to live with females and males who are in their late 20's - early 30's, but no couples. I am flexible with move in dates too. If you are interested, please send me a message. Bec
