Hello there future roommates! I am a student from Amsterdam looking for a great stay when I will be working in Sydney for a 6 months internship! I am a fun, outgoing and happy person that loves food and is always in for a drink and enjoys the beach and strolls through the city of Sydney and surroundings! Looking forward to hear from you!! Best wishes from Amsterdam
Hi, I did a PhD in Materials Science for photovoltaic applications in Switzerland and will hopefully move to Sydney end of June/beginning of July to start working at UNSW as a postdoc. So I’m looking for a place to stay. Ideally it would be a shared flat not too far from the campus but neither from the beach ; ), with a private, fully furnished room as I won‘t be bringing furniture. Actually even though I did most of my studies in Switzerland, I'm originally from Germany and am also half French. I've lived in shared flats before, am a easy going person, like it tidy and rather calm but would also enjoy to share a glass of wine or a beer, a meal or an adventure with my flatmates. I'm a very active person, enjoy all sorts of sports (biking, hiking, windsurfing... am interested in surfing!) and teach yoga/pilates and gym classes in my free time. Besides I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, cooking and meeting new people. Here in Switzerland I'm a moderator for language evenings at the local pub, for people who want to learn German or English. If you think I could be a good fit for your flat I'd be happy to get in touch!
I’m from Sydney, working full time, but I’d like to shorten the commute so I have more time for my mates, knitting and gym although I’d probably find a way to avoid the latter. I’ve been living on my own the last couple of months, I do enjoy my own space but I’d prefer to have people around I can have a chat/dinner/binge watch with. I’m off on holiday for the next month, looking for something available long term at end of July/ beginning of August :) P.S I don’t wear glitter very often but neither do I tend to take selfies if I’m not
Hi! I'm Grigoris, I'm coming to Sydney to study at UNSW for a year as a psychology exchange student from the University of Glasgow starting July 2018. I'm a chilled out guy and spend most of my time listening to music, walking around, studying, watching movies, and trying out new activities. I'm the kind of person who likes to keep busy and I therefore might not spend much of my day in the flat. I intend to find a part-time job on top of my full-time studies and along with spending time in the library and extracurriculars you know how it is. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of communal places and other people. I'm looking for a room in a shared flat/house with cool, like-minded people around my age. I'm hoping for a friendly environment, for us to get along well and hang out. The room would have to be fully furnished, as it makes no sense for me to buy furniture. I'm coming to Sydney around the 10th of July and would like to move in before the 18th of July. Ideally, I am looking for a flat near UNSW or in a interesting and busy area that's not to far from campus. Drop me a message if you're interested or have any questions! :)
I work as a stylist as well as in a furniture showroom. Here in Sydney chasing my dream and looking for mature, clean, friendly flatmate to share a cozy and easy-going home with. I'm Christian, female, creative, enjoy watching movies, reading, Pinterest...
Hello, 31 yr old American traveler looking for a room for rent for 3.5 months. I enjoy sports- mainly volleyball, climbing, soccer, football, and snowboarding. I like to cook in during the week when possible and going out on the weekends. Hoping to find a nice room for rent and some cool housemates :) I will be working downtown so close to public transit is ideal. Housemate-wise would prefer other non smoking, young professionals. Thanks
Young French professional working full-time in IT and data analytics consulting. I'm looking for a place to share with friendly people in the same mood and preferably in my age.
I will not be arriving in Sydney until July 17th, but I thought I would get a head start on flat hunting. I'm a college student visiting from America for a six-month research internship in Sydney. Big fan of sports, politics, philosophy, and traveling. Also a big fan of photography, so let me know if you need a new Facebook profile picture. I consider myself pretty friendly, but will never demand your attention. I like pets too, if you have one (or a few). Didn't vote for Trump.
Easy going, professional female who loves snowboarding and adventures. New Zealander who has just moved here after 2 winter seasons in Canada. Love to socialise but also consider my home a sanctuary. Will likely be away most weekends at the snow! Would love someone fun and easy going also.
Clean, respectful, relatively funny (Subjective) and easy going. Work in the city and looking for a cool, welcoming place to come home too. Would prefer a social situation, but do like my own time as well. I am “part owner” of a dog with the ex gf, so a pet friendly place would be good for weekend stays, but it’s not a deal breaker as he doesn’t have to stay over, although he is pretty awesome and you’d be missing out. 😂
My name is Michaela and I'm a 28 yo german girl. In the middle of December started Working Holiday Year in Melbourne and since two months I live in Sydney. At the moment I work in a hostel as a receptionist minimum til the beginning of August! So I look for a room to call home. Here some informations about me: in Germany I worked fulll-time as a sales controller for a bank and I'm also studying part-time. I'm a clean, relaxed, respectful and funny person! I like it to have a chat with my flatmate but its also very important for me to have my own space. In Munich I had my own flat and sometimes I rent my living room ... so I know how it is to share a flat ;).
Hey! After a very and I mean very brief stint in Melbourne I have realised that Sydney is home and I was to get back ASAP. Within 2 weeks preferably. I want to go back to my beach side living in Bondi or the surrounding areas. I think I’m a great housemate because I’m clean, quiet. Tend to do my own thing, watch telly but I’m all ways up for a wine and a catch up. Living with me also means FREE HAIR! Seeing as this is a quick interstate move I need something furnished and something with little to no bond required or something we can arrange. I don’t need to view the property before hand. I trust that you’ll say everything correctly. Cheers, hope to hear from you soon!
Olivia (23) and Martine (21) are moving to Sydney in July for a Martine's study abroad program. Olivia is a recent graduate with a master's in psychology and will be working full time. We are both clean and neat people (and if there's a mess, it will always be in our own room). We like to think of ourselves as a fun couple, liking to have a glass (or a few glasses) of wine while enjoying company of a few good friends. We're looking forward to going to the beach daily, hiking, fitness, eating vegan food, and meeting new friends. We both love to cook and eat with others, and Olivia is known for her amazing vegan nachos! We're also always up for a Netflix binge or movie marathon!
Hi guys! I’m Elli, a 27 years old girl from Germany and came to Australia 2 weeks ago. I’ll start a new job at beginning of july and hope to find a nice shared flat and a new home for the next months. I’m a clean(good in housekeeping, its also my new job;-)) , relaxed, openminded and happy person. I’m off course non-smoking. Let me know if u are interested in me as your flatmate! Regards, Elli
We are a group of 2 couples from the UK and Netherlands. Looking for 2 rooms in a house or a 2 bedroom apartment. Easy going group of friends on a working holiday visa. Will all be working full-time but won't mind a nice get together in the evening.
Looking for a private room within 30-40 minutes of the city. I'll be working full time in the city. I envisage finding some fun housemates that are easy to get along with whether in an established share house or not. I'm clean and happy with pitch in with the household upkeep. I have past successful flatmates history. My only request is the house has a dishwasher, be it mechanical or human I wont discriminate.
*MUST HAVE OFF STREET PARKING* I've recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane, working full time in Civil Construction and looking for a place to call home. I'm looking for a private room that could fit a queen size bed/chest of drawers/ has built in wardrobes. I am looking for a share house with one to two males or females (preferably not couples) around the same age (mid to late 20's/early 30's) that are non smokers. I am clean/tidy, respectful of others space and noise levels but do enjoy sharing a meal /having a chat or glass of wine together. Max rent per week: $450 inc bills Look forward to meeting you, Sarah
Hi I'm an exchange student from Denmark. I'm 23 years old and I'm coming to Sydney to study architecture at The University of Sydney. In short; I looooove wine, animals, sci-fi and walking - I do not enjoy spiders, biking and being asked a lot of complicated questions in the morning. I like chilling with a good movie or binge watching something with a bad rating on Netflix. I make a whole lot of risotto, dunno if i'm any good though. I'm always up for a drink, a chat and a laugh. Easy going, generally clean, quite sweet and all around lovable. I'm looking for a place with a relaxed atmosphere, where we might cook some food together once in a while or drink a glass of wine but where a closed door is a also acceptable. - Hope you'd have me!
